Ok, here me out...
Young women representing the female gender in a street fight against some boys with a big attitude.
Yup, I can finally die in peace(ˉ﹃ˉ)
Sute was sceptical at first about visiting the place for the first time, thinking it would be as filthy as her friend's state of mind.
That friend being me, of course. Time had passed since then, and Sute would often visit the cramped box of which I call home.
I guess even a high-end person like her somehow found comfort in my humble abode.
We often held frequent meetings with our captains here discussing matters that did not necessarily involve the rest of the gang.
But today was a little different.
I sat on top of the folded futon while Sute had found herself settled on the chair facing my direction with a bored expression.
"How sure are you about it?"
"Against 50 or so guys?" I mindlessly retorted in a joking voice.
She pressed her lips into a firm line and eyes shut in annoyance. For a long moment, Sute kept them closed. Eyebrows furrowed deep as she opened her eyes to cast a glare.
"I guess winning isn't an option..." I trailed off, not meeting her sharp gaze.
That was not what she wanted to hear, it wasn't a definite answer.
"We will win," I repeated, with as much determination as I could muster. This time, looking directly into her deep red eyes.
Throwing her head back, Sute sank into the chair and sighed.
"Arai, you better not be having second thoughts," She added, putting an arrow through my heart.
What was she thinking? I don't regret any of this.
What's done is done, the only thing we have to do now is prove to them we have a right to fight. With how violent these fights tend to get, expect an outcome where someone would sustain injuries or worse, end up in a hospital. I have no intention of harming them to such an extent, but I won't hesitate to deliver them a fate worse than death.
After all, they needed a good beating for what they did.
Us women have a vile nature known for making a man's life hell. I know my girls were strong, though I can't say much for pests. They can get killed easily when you're not careful.
I fell onto the soft mattress, the coat wrinkled and creased as I felt the mat pressed against my back. As usual, my hair was an orange mess. The mane had tousled waves and uneven cuts, a stark contrast to what had used to be smooth and long straight ash colored hair.
I miss the times where these responsibilities were not mine to shoulder.
"I suddenly have the urge to wear sunglasses," I muttered .
"Then be blind, it's still fucking dark outside,"
"I don't know, I think it'd just be cool if I wear it, you know?"
"That's dumb. You're dumb. Remind me again why am I even your friend?"
I laughed at that. I knew her well enough to see through her lies. If she truly despised me, she would have never agreed to this in the first place.
"It's because you love me."
"Ew, no. Screw off," Sute groaned as she rolled her eyes.
Standing up, I made my way over to the drawer and took out the circular rim yellow shades. I slid it over my eyes and a darker world came into view. I spun to face Sute and with a smug grin, I posed with my chin adjacent to my thumb and index finger.
"You look like an idiot. Why did you even bother to ask when you're going to do it anyway?"
"I just wanted to hear your thoughts. I didn't say I'd take your word for it," I puffed my cheeks.
At this point, Sute was holding herself back from strangling me. Since if she did, no one would be able to lead the gang in the fight. She prefers I do the leading, a feat which requires me to be alive.
She has a bit of social anxiety and that she was not much of a people person unlike me. Though it improved over the years. At the very least, now she can stand in front of a crowd, as the centre of attention without feeling as flustered as she used to.
My main duty is to address the entire gang on important issues, so inevitably I would do the most talking. Sute was my vice-leader, though she likes being in the background. Nevertheless, sometimes I would force her to become the speaker, in my place despite her grimaces.
It's good practice if she wants to become a voice actor.
Ding!
We whipped our heads to the door as the doorbell chimed, signalling that our guests had arrived.
"Looks like they're here," I grinned.
It was our first official fight and the Lioness were no stranger to fighting. In fact, we've gotten into a number of scuffles when Lioness first began to expand its numbers.
It started small. I told myself that it was unnecessary to have such big numbers. What am I going to do with so many members? Have them just for show?
I only ever approached smaller girl groups who might be interested with the idea of being part of a much bigger gang. Then, there came some things that I least expected. Other female gangs who I thought would not be well-taken to the idea of joining us began to reach out to me. I was delighted though at the same time I had to be cautious.
We came across those who'd scheme to take control of Lioness as it grew. This was often settled through a battle royale with the opposing gang against Sute and myself. The last one standing from either group became the one to take charge of the Lioness while those who lost had the choice to become an ordinary member and work their way up the ranks or to not at all be a part of the gang.
The results were always the same, Sute and I naturally emerged victorious and we kept our positions. Then those who were salty about their loss would then end up becoming a rival gang, seeking revenge to challenge Lioness on another day.
That being said, we try our best not to have many enemies.
"Arai it's time for your big speech, O mighty leader~"
I snorted at Shiya's tone as she emphasised on the word 'big.'
"Of course it's a big speech. We're about to kickass, and show those bastards, whose boss," Aoi agreed, crossing her arms as she smiled.
"Stop patronising me, and don't ever call me that. I know I'm awesome" I covered my face, playing along with a blushing expression.
It's good to see the captains fueled with enthusiasm before a fight. I admit, I was a bit thrown off by how they suddenly pumped up the extra energy unlike in school, where in the early mornings they'd often work up a sombre and dead atmosphere.
Looks like I don't have to do much morale boosting since the rest of the members seemed just as lively.
This even puts a small upward curve on Sute's lips, content that everyone was more livelier than usual. I began to stride and the rest were at the attention of the direction I was walking to. I stopped in my step, facing the entire Lioness with Sute at my side. They fell silent, the sound of a sharp buzz cutting through the wind resonated as the members automatically synchronised a 45 degree bow in respect.
"Good morning President and Vice-President!" They bellowed in unison.
The greeting was so full of life that it almost made me teared up.
"I have a few things to say before we head into the site. Thank you all for coming here," Expressing my sentiments, I reciprocated a bow of my own.
"Although not all of us can attend this fight, I congratulate you all who have gathered here to settle the issue with the Gyuki. I'm sure by now you all have been informed about what had occurred a few days ago. They have insulted us even going as far as to commit something gruesome." I paused as I sucked in a tight breath of air. "A loss of life is not a laughing matter…" I glowered.
"The Gyuki is a gang that has existed long before the formation of Lioness. Does that mean they are better than us? HELL NO! Lioness has grown to become a prosperous girl gang and deserves the respect from all of Tokyo! Yet still, those spider bastards believe us to be lower than them. Today marks the day of our first official fight, and we will prove to them that us Lioness can never be trampled by pests,"
With that, the girls erupted into a roar of cheers and loud applause.
Moving past me, Sute takes the reins of the stage, holding up a pair of white tasuki. "Captains and Vice-Captains, step up,"
As instructed, Aoi, Nagumo, Shiya and Harumi went forward. Sute passes the sashes to the vice-captains, Nagumo and Harumi of the 2nd and 3rd division who then proceed to help their captains wear the tasuki.
Once they were finished, Sute nodded in approval and continued.
"I've said this before and I'll say it again. Win this, and Arai here will treat you all to a nice meal!"
They all cheered.
I whimpered, praying to kami so that my savings won't run dry out so soon.
Entering the yard, we were greeted by a crowd of on-lookers cluttering the site. All of them anticipate the first battle between the Lioness and Gyuki.
Now gang fights were commonplace in the area, but what intrigued most of the spectators for them from all over to flock to this particular dispute, was that this was the first time a lady had initiated the fight. That in itself was far from what you could get from ordinary major clashes.
Did they all come here to cheer us on? Or were they here thinking that we would fail? I sure hope it was the former.
As we streamed into the tomb of scrap vehicles, I noticed that some amongst them were renowned delinquents, present at the site of rubble and dirt.
The most notable being the president of Black Dragon, and his entourage consisting of his vice-leader, Akashi Takeomi and his trusted captains, Imaushi Wakasa and Arashi Keizo stood at the centre of the scrap yard.
He, Sano Shinichiro would be the overseer of this match.
Marching to the scrawny man, I couldn't help but stare at the portion of hair on his head. "Hmm, it surprisingly suits you," I accidentally said out loud.
"What?"
"Pretend I said nothing," I looked away.
At this point, I was receiving burning holes at my back as glares from Sute and my division leaders at the sly remark. They knew what I meant, and would have very much desired to keep my running mouth shut. Well, it was too late, I've already said what I said.
Well Dammit! This was awkward.
The Gyuki had yet to arrive, causing me unimaginable amounts of displeasure. We came here to fight and they had to make us wait as they took their own sweet time. I've given them numerous times to make their peace but they shake off our warnings as if it was worthless. The nerve of those spiders…
I might as well make the best out of the situation. Masking my discomfort, I faced the leader of Black Dragon with farce confidence. I know it's a stupid idea to wear it but for the sake of aesthetics I just had to wear those shades. There was no other particular reason than that.
Putting forward a straight face, I made my request. "You don't mind holding on to this?" I pointed at my specs.
"Are, are you serious?" The menacingly tall Keizo asked, unaware he towered me in many ways than one.
Compared to my diminutive self, I feel like a pitiful kitten standing next to a pit bull, a ridiculously big one at that.
Is he even around my age? I'm already surrounded by trees, why does fate have to continuously remind me I'm too short for my own good? I get it, now move on!
"Um- sure, I don't see why not," Shinichiro held his friend back, whispering to Keizo something inaudible, so I couldn't overhear.
He already agreed to my small favour, so I didn't think much about what he said to his friend. Taking off the circular shades, I handed it to Shinichiro as he outstretched his hand.
"Thanks," I beamed and went my merry way.
Those tea shades were a memento, I didn't want them to get damaged during the fight. It was also quite costly and I don't ever want to think of replacing it. Entrusting it to the overseer looked to be a good choice and he seemed trustworthy to me.
Scooting back to Sute's side, her death glare looms over me. "If this fight doesn't kill you, then I might. Bringing those glasses was dumb. Who even wears shades at night?"
Technically, it was the early morning. However, I wasn't given the time to retaliate as the Gyuki made their grand entrance into the yard.
The spiders have begun crawling in, great timing.
Cladded in their dirty brown tokkufuku, their very presence brought along a huge revolt within me. Scrunching up, this time I couldn't stop the scowl that had formed on my face. Their flag waves about in the dark setting of the early morning sky, the picture of a spider-like six-legged beast with the head of an ox as their symbol. The repulsive creature had sharp upward-curving horns, wicked fangs and a slender hissing tongue, a wide devious expression cement on its bovine face.
It's based on a fearsome yokai legend, the Ushi-oni or also known as Gyuki which makes up their gang name. Ushi-oni have brutal, savage personalities, they spit poison and enjoy killing and eating humans. You can say in a way, these creatures deeply reflect the kind of gang Gyuki is. Both love terrorizing people's lives.
From where I stand, the leader approaches with a sleazy smile. Nakamura Seita, their leader, had what you call a cow's head. With a large septum golden ring piercing through the line that separates his nostrils from his upturned pink nose. Eyes almost bulging out of his sockets like a fish. He was a lump of flesh(a waste of space really) and I know I'm 'supposed' to be intimidated but I can't help cringe at the sight of the pompadour hairstyle that was practically larger than his head. He looks like a joke with that updo and cattle-like face.
They came to a standstill and a good distance away from us, all of them held cocky expressions ingrained on their faces.
"Are you shitting with me? I heard there's at least a hundred of ya, and what's this? There's even less of ya, you bitches tryna mess with me?" He spat at the ground for me, his taunting smirk still intact. Mocking laughter follows with his dissings from his members.
Anyone can tell our numbers didn't match but that didn't worry me. You don't need to outnumber your opponents to win a fight, all you need and can always rely on is your skills and wits.
I dismissed his question, far from bothered by the insult since there has only been one thing that really bothered me.
"You could have done that from the start, say it to my face that you desperately wanted to pick a fight. Spit at me and I would've accepted it. Instead you all had to be a couple of sissy boys and send the mangled corpse of a family's pet. You do understand what that means, do you?"
It means a direct threat, and I will never let them live it down for what they did. The kitten had run away one day and came back with it's guts spilled out and an eyeball missing. Words cannot describe her shock when her beloved cat arrived at her doorstep the next morning soaked in its own dried blood as an underlying message.
It returned disfigured and inhumane. The poor thing didn't deserve it, an innocent but they didn't care and all because the owner was affiliated with Lioness. She wasn't even a full member...
The Gyuki's haughty laughter rings into my ears, blissfully unaware of the terrible consequences of their actions.
Our overseer took into account the growing tension of the situation and stepped in between the two gangs. We were hushed at his sudden movement. The revered man looks ahead and we await his instructions.
"Representatives come forward!" Shinichiro beckons, his voice echoes throughout the area.
As directed, our pre-appointed representative, Shiya moves to the centre of the yard, to where the overseer stood.
The Gyuki sent out their own representative, an individual with a buzz cut and tall figure. I observed the young man, his eyes void of any light, like black holes staring ahead, they were hollow. He had worn a white tank top, revealing his fairly built shoulders and arms with his standard uniform jacket tied around his waist. He stands out compared to the other members.
He doesn't terrify me in the slightest with his appearance yet something feels off. Unlike his leader who held a crazed expression that was easy to read, their representative was calm.
Calm people are the ones that have me wary the most.
For a split moment our gaze connected and he caught me staring back. I'm compelled to give him a tight slap now, as he pulled his lips back to reveal a sinister toothy grin. Eyes brightened at the sight of me.
I was right, he isn't in the right state of mind.
He's plotting something and whatever it is, it isn't good. I'd have to keep my eyes peeled out for that one.
"You have a choice between-"
"We want an all-out brawl," As always Shiya's straight to the point and didn't let Shinichiro finish his announcement. The poor man looks taken aback but continues.
"Then... Is there anything else?"
"Fine by me, we were already planning on letting you girls have the honours of choosing. I'm looking forward to playing with the kitten," Eyeing me as he finished his last sentence.
Chills went down my spine, as he reverted to his composed exterior. It's not going to fool me, beneath it lies a twisted mind.
It was him.
I took a deep breath to calm myself.
I raised my hand. All eyes shot to me as I made a declaration. "Before the sun comes up, this battle will be over by then, and the Lioness will win. I'll bet my all on it,"
Which isn't much time, considering the sun will rise in about an hour's time.
Pointing to their leader, I urged him to make his bet. Seita laughed hysterically at the statement. Thinking I wasn't the least bit serious. "Then when we win how 'bout we use y'all as lap dogs, yeah? You girls don't need to do a man's job, y'know,"
I know what he's insinuating and I chewed on my lips to suppress the urge from lashing out at the cow-headed leader in that instance. If I get too worked up with his taunts now then it'll be our defeat.
Shiya bumps my shoulder with her fist. I didn't realise she'd already made her way back.
"Don't try getting us killed,"
"I would never, thought you trusted me," I whined as she shook her head exasperatedly.
"Well, bye-bye," Shiya waved me off. Passing by me, her white sash trails behind her as she returns to her post beside Harumi.
I can't help but stupidly grin since this was her little way of giving encouragement, through criticisms that motivate me. She knows I love to prove her wrong.
"The fight between the Lioness and Gyuki commences!"
Shinichiro and his entourage moved away from the middle of what would soon become a battleground.
Adrenaline rushed at the anticipation for the match.
However, I stalled. I won't make the first move.
I leave it to those Spiders to decide their first act.
In a fight like this, how one dictates the victor is when the leader loses. The gang is reduced to a rowdy bunch without the proper guidance from the leader. Losing the leader means you lost the fight, it would be the end of it.
Yet when it came to a fist to my face, no one from my side tried to stop it.
Well, no one came to stop it because they knew I would have very much liked to deal with it myself. I admit I have some masochistic tendencies. That aside, something like this wouldn't render me out-of-commission so soon.
I sucked in a tight breath and released.
Sidestepping away from the direction of the blow, it only grazed my cheek. In a quick motion, I grabbed the perpetrator by his collar and arm. Yanking his body up. With a sharp exhale, I tossed the body to the incoming attacker while pacing my breath. It almost cost me to tip over my stance, but I managed to maintain posture. Someone took this as an opportunity to land a good punch and this time I couldn't avoid it.
I know it's coming.
The full force of his knuckles against my head reverberated my skull and broke the outer layer of skin as blood began to ooze out. Swallowing hard at the impact, I remind myself that this isn't enough to make me falter. It puts my mind in a haze but it isn't something I'm not used to.
He was close enough for me to grab onto his sleeve while he was distracted with landing the punch. I shoved him to the ground and had him fall flat on his face and went on making the next move. I can't take chances and leave him alone when he's still in a vulnerable state so I kicked him until I felt assured he wouldn't be able to stand anytime soon.
The entire area was engulfed in a cacophony of clashing fists and the movement of rattling dirt. Heavy footsteps resounded an unpleasant beat as one by one, bodies were thumped down. Everyone was occupied with their own battles.
I quickly scanned the war zone for Seita. Turning to my right, Sute was on her own fending off several Gyuki members at a far corner. How she got there in the short span of time we had so far, was beyond me.
She's a Merciless Lady and titled that for a good reason. The numbers against her meant nothing as she decimated them effortlessly with a condescending smile. It's just typical Sute going over the top again and it looks like she's having a lot of fun without me. The ends of her charcoal hair could be mistaken for their blood if you didn't know it was dyed red.
There was a stinging feeling on my cheek and when I came to my senses, I was too late. For the life of me, I know I had a punchable face. It's the third time in a row now and I'm getting sick of it. I took it, a solid jab to my face while holding a firm ground and not being easily taken out.
"If this is a fight, throw a better punch at least," I said despite the swelling on my cheek.
It stung but this was nothing compared to being on the receiving end of Sute's wrath. The best thing to do for now was to endure.
Berating the Gyuki member enraged him as he didn't think twice about going in for his second attack. This time I was prepared to evade but not without striking him first at the jaw with my palm. From there, I grabbed him by the jaw and forced him to the ground as I kneed hard onto his groyne. He shrieked in horror and curled up, covering his lower body.
Usually, I try not to aim for their-vulnerable part but this fight is testing my patience and I couldn't care any less. I hopped over the man reduced to a shaking sack of flesh and bones, beginning an aimless stroll which inevitably led me dashing across the field of chaos.
With every foe that threw themselves at me, I either dodged or tossed them aside for the other lioness members to handle. I don't have the luxury of time to deal with these extras and it was best to avoid unnecessary fighting. I only have one goal in mind and it's to take down their leader.
"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU SEITA?!" I barked, voice almost going hoarse.
Aware that I can't keep on running, I stopped for a quick breather. And of course, even a small slip up is an opportunity. I really can't catch a break with these people.
This time, broad arms found themselves on my neck, capturing me into a headlock. I gritted my teeth as I repeatedly bash my head against his chest to make space. Sure enough, his grip loosened and I managed to worm my way out of his hold with the advantage of my small size.
Without wasting a single second I swept his feet off the ground and kicked his jaw and a satisfying crunch followed. Blood gushed out of his mouth to which he promptly covered. With the way he was facing the ground, I can only guess he bit his tongue when I delivered the blow.
The coward of a leader was nowhere in sight and instead, watched as I was surrounded by more of his goons. They must have circled around me while I was still busy handling the man that was on the ground. I clicked my tongue out of irritation with the way the situation had gone out of hand.
Beats of sweat formed at the back of my neck, knowing that I don't fare well against groups.
Seeing as how the man was prostrated on the ground it then dawned on me. He was positioned in a way where his back could be used as a means for a makeshift human springboard.
A quick plan formed in my mind that had me grin cynically. This reaction must have garnered an uneasiness among the group since none of them would come at me.
All the more to grin wider. I made the first move darting to the man's back and jumped onto it, with bent legs like a spring wire, I then pushed myself off with his leverage, launching myself to the nearest foe with a foot ready to crash into their face.
I slammed his head against the ground, denting it and possibly breaking his nose. The rumble of cracking sounds with the blood tainting my boots further confirms my premonition.
Preparing my next move, I began running to the next man in a brown uniform.
KLANK!
White light flashes briefly in my vision. As if all the weight in my body had gone up and vanished with the only thing pulling me downwards was the sudden heaviness of my head. It was an odd sensation or maybe it was because I felt nothing at all.
I was falling headfirst towards the ground.
THUNK!
There was another heavy pang to the head, changing the course of direction of my fall. This time the weight on my head was much greater and throbed as I fell backwards. I was seeing double but I know my eyes didn't fail me when I spotted that awful buzz cut.
In the heat of the moment, everything clicked into place. Someone had struck me down.
I didn't think my stupidity would be this severe.
I guess I somewhat deserved to be taken by the surprise attack.
A harsh exhale escapes me, in ragged breaths as I gasp for air. I kept my head lifted while the rest of my body collided into the rough ground.
His callus hand grabs my face and smashes my head to the ground. The Gyuki's representative then lifts it and smashes me against the floor once more. He repeats this again, and again, and again…
I counted.
1
Ite, ite, ite!
2
Can I take a short break? Maybe-
3
After the tenth-
4
I-I… What was it?
5
I'm tired...
6
My eyes shut
7
I want to sleep...
8
It's... It is suddenly so quiet...
9
"Pfft!"
Laughter?
10
Who was that?
11
Peering through the gaps between his fingers. The first thing I can make of with clarity was that haunting sinister smile. Giggles spills out from his mouth as he continues to bang my head with no signs of stopping. The glint in his empty pupils screamed he was enjoying this.
I closed my eyes.
12
Someone is calling me...
13
I don't know who…
14
Shhhh!
Let me sleep…
15
"ARAYA! It's not napping time!"
That voice sounded like Sute
16
...
17
FUCK IT! I'M NOT COUNTING SHEEP!
I didn't want to resort to this but I'm getting desperate.
My hands snaked around the arm that had a hold on my face, lips brushed against the callus palm as I sank my teeth into the rough skin while digging my nails into his forearm. He instinctively retracted his hand away from my face with a yelp.
Having a taste of the hot metallic liquid and flab, it's revolting. I spat the torn flesh back at him.
Free from his hold, I pulled out my legs from under him. Everythings was a blur, I'm seeing swirls and bright colours, especially red (not sure if it was my blood or his). I don't have the strength to get up. My legs have given out for the moment and I wouldn't stand properly if tried. My head is sore, inducing my mind in a daze after taking on numerous beatings to the head earlier.
Yet, it wouldn't sit right with me if I let this man off easily like this. Not even when I had chewed off a chunk of his flesh, it would still be too light of a punishment for what he did.
Besides, being on the ground was comfortable.
Adjusting my position, I settled with one leg over his neck, the other latched over his chest, clinching the arm between my legs while my hands held down his bloodied palm and twisted it upwards.
As I applied pressure onto the arm, he rammed his fist to my hip with his free hand groaning in his struggle to break free from the arm lock. But I kept at it, until I heard a loud 'pop' sound and automatically dropped the hand. The pounding at my side also stops.
His eyes widened as he stared at the arm that went limp.
Cue the cries of pain as he tugs onto the useless arm.
When pulling his hand, I went too fast since normally you'd have to execute this technique slowly.
I rolled away from him, sitting upright and watched as he writhed in agony at having his shoulder popped off.
Hearing him scream is messing with my head, I rubbed my temples to soothe the headache I was experiencing. As if the fighting around us had ceased…
It actually did, I realised.
From behind, in front, my left and right, everyone had stopped exchanging blows to gawk at the sight of the Gyuki's representative squirming on the ground and me sitting there casually watching.
Since it wasn't my style to shy from the spotlight, I've decided that I'd issue an order to the Lioness when all their attention was on me.
I fisted the ground and slowly got up. Once I was standing, my weakened legs gave out trying to support the weight of my body. Stumbling forward, I was quickly caught by familiar hands.
"How's life Arai?" Aoi asked a rhetorical question, helping me stand on my two feet.
"Nothing much, though I am incredibly pissed with having my head bashed in several times. So how about you?"
"That's rough sis. For me, I've been alright,"
Scanning her, I searched for evidence to justify her claim. Aoi was right, at the very least, she was in a way better state than I am. There's dried blood in my dishevelled hair and all over my face. My precious coat was wrinkled and smeared with dirt and blood.
On the other hand, Aoi's dark brown hair was still firmly intact in a ponytail with an untamed lock of pink hair tucked behind her ear and some loose strands. Although she didn't wear a coat, her uniform jacket and pants were neater and had less wrinkles.
"Aye, could you let me go now? I need to make an announcement,"
"Make sure you don't fall for me then,"
I chuckled as Aoi took her hands away from me, and I was given back my independence to stand on my own.
"Girls, it's time for cleanup duty. We wrap this up and we can go home early for a relaxing bath and catch some sleep,"
"OH, AND ARAI DON'T FORGET ABOUT WHAT SUTE SAID!" I heard Shiya shout.
"YEP! YOU'RE GONNA HAVE TO TREAT US TO A NICE MEAL~! " Sute said in a sing-song voice, as she punched a Gyuki member.
Knowing they've always loved tormenting me this way, ever since middle school(RIP my poor, poor savings), I've already prepared for a scenario like this. Nothing was more thrilling than making them suffer with my indecent antics.
Although they're used to it, I know what I had in mind would be exceptionally shocking; they'd never forget what happened today.
I fumbled with the buttons of my coat, unclipping them and revealed my bare tummy. And it doesn't stop there. Slipping out of the coat, I threw it over Aoi who was still comprehending my actions and started sprinting.
Everyone gaped, and stared at the shorty running loose in the scrap yard with just her sports bra covering her top.
For all my life, I've lived for this moment, to be free of the restriction of clothes in a fight. The delicious horrified expression from my own members, the Gyuki and spectators made this even more rewarding.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Shiya and Sute were the only ones that didn't react as they've opted to facepalm themselves.
Victory was in our hands with my carefully orchestrated distraction.

NOTES_
Arai has some tendencies to start stripping when she's stressed. She once said that stripping helps her think better as taking off clothes makes it easier to breath. It was also a good distraction that left most of the people in the present area gaping.
Sute either let's Arai have her way(cause she could care less) and watches her from with a burning gaze or just flees the scene to not be associated with her mad friend.
The rest of the Lioness knows of this but only as a rumor and don't believe it, until witnessing Arai actually doing it in action.
