WrestleMania 36. "The Showcase of the Immortals", "The Grandest Stage of Them All", "The Granddaddy of Them All", "The Greatest Spectacle in Sports Entertainment". It was the Pay-Per-View that WWE fans came all over the world to see. This was the event that wrestlers hopped to be booked on in their careers. A good match on 'Mania could immortalize you forever. A good match on 'Mania can put you in the history books with legends like Hogan, 'Taker, Shawn, Savage, Steamboat, Rock, Austin. You name them.

The 36th anniversary of Wrestling's Superbowl would start off with the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. With a collection of winners including Cesaro, Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy and last year's winner, Braun Strowman. The Battle Royal had an impressive lineage and tonight we will see who gets added to that list.

Next up the team of Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross look to become 2-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champions as they take on the current champs, The Kabuki Warriors who have been on a roll dominating each team they faced so far.

Otis and Dolph Ziggler go one on one at WrestleMania settling their personal difference regarding The Golden Goddess, Mandy Rose. Many question: What role will she play in this match? Find out in Otis vs Dolph Ziggler.

Women's Battle Royal which has started to become a annual tradition for WrestleMania was happening once again this year. And past two winners, Naomi and Carmella have used the trophy to etch their names in WrestleMania history.

Raw Tag Team Championships on the line as the current Raw Tag Team Champions, The Street Profits take on Zelina Vega's armada, Austin Theory and Angel Garza. Theory and Garza have claimed that they want the gold but The Street Profits have other plans.

This is about a lot more than just the Raw Women's Championship. This is about respect. This is personal. If you've watched Baszler before then you know she's as dominant as physical as anyone and that she has a mean streak a mile long. Ever since dominanting in the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble, Baszler has set her sights on Lynch and promised that she would win the Raw Women's Championship and end Lynch's year-long reign.

Triple Threat SmackDown Tag Team Championship Ladder Match. If you're thinking Holy Shit. Then Holy Shit is right. The match was gonna be great before but you add in a Ladder with men like Kofi Kingston and John Morrison in the same ring. The Tag Team Title match couldn't have been more exciting.

Things have been personal between Rollins and Owens with Rollins claiming to be the "Monday Night Messiah". Rollins has ruled over with an Iron Fist and Kevin Owens has taken a disliking to this and challenged the Messiah to a match for WrestleMania 36.

To say that the rivalry between Ced and Jaden Sennoa was personal would be an understatement. The issues dated back to SummerSlam when Ced was the first man to defeat Jaden Sennoa and became the youngest WWE Intercontinental Champion. Since then Jaden has made it his mission to get his revenge and he did when he screwed Ced out of the title and took it back. Months later Ced returned at the Royal Rumble attacking Jaden looking to exact his revenge. Both men were forced to coexist and team up and in a winning effort took home the SmackDown Tag Team Champions but it was only a matter of time before the team imploded and they did at Super Showdown. Jaden stacked the deck up against Ced but Ced fought back and earned his Intercontinental title shot and the disdain between the two resulted into a Street Fight.

Sasha Banks vs Bayley. The match we have all been waiting for. It was finally here. Sasha won the Elimination Chamber to earn her shot against Bayley. Bayley believed that Sasha Banks would forfeit her match to keep their friendship but Sasha was tired of being the lapdog and made the challenge for Bayley at 'Mania.

Orton, Edge. Edge's return to the WWE turned from a dream to a nightmare in a matter of 24 hours thanks to Randy Orton. But a chance for retribution will come when Edge goes one-on-one with Randy Orton.

The Undertaker will once again rise to step onto The Grandest Stage of Them All for a highly personal showdown against AJ Styles.

The World Heavyweight Championship. Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman look to take the title from The Fiend. Lesnar hasn't been seen in the WWE since he lost his WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre but tonight at "Mania, he looks to return and reclaim Championship gold. But the main component of this Triple Threat is the former partnership of Braun Strowman and "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. The question was: How would that relationship play out in this match?

And the Main Event of WrestleMania 36. The WWE Champion looks to defend against the 2020 Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns. And Roman Reigns was main event WrestleMania for the 5th time in his already illustrious career. He's 4-2 at WrestleMania but tonight he's looking to make it 5-2 and walk out with the WWE Championship once again.

Cedric stood up on the stage looking around at the empty arena. He had to admit he was pretty nervous. The arena was huge. It was the biggest arena that he had ever stepped foot in and the biggest arena that he had even wrestled in. He sighed as he then started to walk down the long ramp enjoying every step that he took until he got to the ringside area.

"Nervous?" He heard a familiar voice say making him turn around. He turned around watched as the guy who would no doubt be taking over the WWE in a few years, Paul Levesque AKA Triple H.

"Definitely, I'm here. First Wrestlemania. First time wrestling in front of a huge crowd and in an open stadium. This is it. This is really the big leagues."

"You earned this. You earned impressed me, Vince, Steph, and everybody that you need to and it got you the match against Jaden here tonight. So, when you have your match remember that. And I even talked to the old man and I got you a special entrance."

"Thanks, Paul, I just hope the old man likes me enough."

"Trust me, he will. Just come out here and do the best you can."

"Alright. Well, let me get to the back and start to get ready."

"Alright. Good luck." Paul said to Ced who walked back up the ramp looking around getting the final images of an empty arena in his head.

Cedric stood in his own private locker room in his ring gear with his girlfriend sitting on the couch watching him. Their son was staying with Kala's mother. Cedric was dressed in his black boots with knee pads and trunks with "Leone" in the front in a purple outline with a black interior. The lion head on the back had the same color scheme. He had black tape on both his wrist and fist. He was jumping back and forth in place trying to warm up.

"Getting ready babe?"

"Yeah, I am. I just want you know that this match is not gonna be for the faint of heart. This is gonna be grueling and I just want you to know that before I go out there."

"I know honey. I think I'm prepared." She said standing up walking over to him and placing her hands on his chest. She was wearing a grey denim dress with "Georgetown" Jordan 11 lows with her hair being straitened and make-up on her face adding to her already beautiful face.

"You know babe, the way you're looking right now make me kinda wanna do something right now." He leaned down and tried to give her a kiss but she raised up a finger stopping him in his tracks.

"Now babe, you've worked your ass to get here. Early mornings, Late nights. Those morning runs to the gym, all of that. Everything leading to this one moment and I for one am not gonna let you throw all of that away because you see something you like. Trust me, we have plenty of time for that after the match especially with Baby CJ staying at my mom. By the way, she said you called."

"I was just checking on our kid." He lied. The truth was he was asking for her blessing. He wanted to make Kala his future and he was going to do it tonight no matter the result of his title match.

"Alright."

"I'm gonna go ahead and talk to Paul and a few other guys."

"Okay, love you and be safe. Don't kill yourself." She said leaning up to give him a quick peck. He smiled and turned walking out of the locker room as she stared off while he walked away.

Cedric walked around frantically looking for Mercedes. She was doing Cedric a huge favor and he needed to make sure she still had the ring he gave her this morning. Red had to call in a favor to a French designer they met at one of their clubs. The ring cost Cedric around $8,000 just to make and that didn't even include the matching wedding bands, he was gonna get if she said yes.

He found Mercedes sitting up on a crate looking down at her phone.

"Hey Mercedes."

"Hey CJ."

"You still got the ring, right?"

"Yea, it's in my bag. You're not proposing now, are you?"

"No. I'm just checking to see if you still have it."

"I do. And when you're ready, I'll give it to you."

"Alright thanks. I'm gonna go to guerilla."

"Alright goodluck."

"Not Many" Hits

Nearly 70,000 fans in Raymond James Stadium all booed in the open stadium as Jaden Sennoa walked out with the Intercontinental Championship wrapped around his waist. Jaden looked around the arena at the fans looking on with a smirk as he began to make his way down the long ramp soaking up all of the boos. Once he reached ringside, he looked around once more. He walked up the steps and entered the ring and walked towards the ropes, unhooking the championship around his waist, to raise it up gloating while he talked trash to the fans.

"Not Many" Stops

A silver lion head was on the stage with an open mouth with glowing red eyes. In the mouth of the lion was smoke coming out of the mouth of the lion. On the right side of the stage next was a woman with a red electric guitar in hand and on the left side of the stage was a man with a set of drums.

The woman began playing creating a guitar riff in the arena as the fans cheered. Once she finished her guitar solo, he started to play the drums much similar to the beat of the "Icon" song that Ced used.

Ced walked through the smoke with a frown on his face as he looked around. Ced was wearing a black denim vest with Black Leone in purple with a purple lion head stitched on the back.

He spit his water out in a mist as he then started to walk down the ramp soaking up the cheers he was getting from the crowd while the live band played an acoustic version of his music. Once he reached ringisde, he looked around the arena once more before turning his head and locking eyes with the current Intercontinental Champion. He walked up the steel steps and entered the ring walking to the corner. He pointed into the crowd seeing his family making him smile as he then hit his pose gaining some more cheers from the crowd. He hopped down and took off his vest throwing it off to the ringside area as he heard his music fade.

"The following contest is a Street Fight scheduled for one fall and is for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. " Greg Hamilton announced as Ced stood in his corner across from Jaden Sennoa staring him down with a death stare.

"Introducing first, from Charlotte, North Carolina. Weighing in at 250 pounds. Ced!" Ced just kept his daze on the Champion.

"And his opponent, from San Francisco, California. Weighing in at 239 pounds. He is the WWE Intercontinental Champion, Jaden Sennoa!" Jaden raised the Championship up in the air as the fans booed him. Jaden handed the title off to the referee who raised the title up in the air before giving it off to the ring crew as he then rang the bell.

Ding-Ding-Ding!

The WWE Universe was cheering loudly as the much-anticipated Intercontinental Championship match was underway. Ced vs Jaden Sennoa in a Street Fight. It was clear that this was gonna be a slobber knocker in the famous words of Legendary Commentator, Jim Ross. This was months of bad blood and turmoil and they were ready to end it all here tonight. Their beef dated back to SummerSlam where Ced won the Intercontinental Championship for the first time and became the youngest WWE Intercontinental Champion in WWE History.

Both men stared each other down as they stood on opposite sides of the ring. Ced looked around the crowd seeing nearly 70,000 screaming WWE fans up on their feet until his eyes sit on his loving family. He nodded towards them and set his sights back on Jaden Sennoa. Both men ran towards each other and immediately started to brawl trading blows. The heavy hitter Jaden Sennoa got the advantage and hit Ced with several blows to the head making Ced lean up against the ropes. Jaden tried to whip Ced across the ring but Ced reversed it and sent Jaden into the ropes instead.

Ced bent down looking for a Back Body Drop but Jaden had other thoughts and instead placed a kick to the chest of the former Champion making him hiss in pain as he got back to a vertical base. Jaden backed up into the ropes and went for a clothesline to Ced but the former Champion ducked it and waited for Jaden to turn around to catch him with a hard-right hand knocking him down. Jaden popped back up and was met with another hard right knocking him back down. The Intercontinental Champion reached a vertical base again and was met with a hard-right making him stumble into the corner. Ced not letting up walked towards Jaden and kept the offense going with a series of rights stunning Jaden. He dropped him down in the corner with a well-placed left uppercut. "Young Simba" continued his offense and stomped down on Jaden in the corner. Ced backed up out of the corner giving Jaden enough time to roll out of the ring to recuperate.

The #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship exited the ring as his opponent started to walk around with a hand on his mouth checking for bleeding. Ced took the chance and walked towards Jaden grabbing his head and attempting to slam his face into the barricade but Jaden reversed it and instead sent Ced face-first into the barricade. Ced dropped down to a knee as Jaden leaned up against the barricade to regain his composure. Jaden grabbed Ced and dragged him over to the steel ring post and SMASHED HIS HEAD INTO THE RING POST.

Jaden raised his arms on outside letting out a scream of anger as the WWE Universe booed him on the outside while Ced had crawled over to the ring apron and used it to pull himself up. Jaden turned back around and locked eyes with his opponent and grabbed Ced by the face.

"You. Are. NOTHING!" Jaden said as he punched Ced in between each word. He dragged him by the head and neck and SMASHED HIS FACE INTO THE STEEL STEPS. Jaden stared down at his opponent's body looking on with a cocky smirk. Jaden dragged Ced up to his feet and rammed Ced back first into the ring apron making Ced scream out in agony. Jaden dragged him back up to his feet and once again rammed him into the apron. And Jaden for a third time rammed Ced back first into the ring apron. "The Left Hand of Destruction" was doing just that, destroying. He grabbed Ced by the head and neck and whipped him into the steel steps making a big thud as he crashed.

"This your challenger! Pathetic!" Jaden yelled as the WWE Universe booed. Jaden saunter over to Ced who was moaning in pain as he stared up at the ceiling. Jaden picked up his challenger and whipped him over to the barricade making his back crash into the barricade. It was very clear that Jaden was hell-bent on destroying Ced. He didn't just want to win. He wanted to destroy him and make sure that Ced knew that Jaden was the man who destroyed him.

And Jaden still not done drug Ced back up to his feet and lifted him up over the shoulder before dropping him face-first into the barricade. The Intercontinental Champion bent down and grabbed Ced's body before throwing him off into the ring. Jaden took this time to reach down under the ring and grab some hardware. The Intercontinental Champion picked up the steel trash can full of weapons and threw it off into the ring. Ced crawled over to the trash can and managed to grab a Kendo stick out of it while Jaden had rolled over into the ring and immediately made a beeline to his opponent. Jaden was caught with A SHOT TO THE GUT WITH A KENDO STICK MAKING HIM HUNCH OVER.

Ced with a KENDO SHOT TO THE BACK dropping Jaden Sennoa. And Ced with repeated kendo shots to the back eventually breaking the kendo stick in half. Jaden silently cursed as he felt his back stinging as the welts on the back began to show. "Young Simba" looked on with a smirk on his face as he walked towards the steel can and empty it out revealing a few more kendo sticks. Ced waited as Jaden began to try to rise up to his feet before he slammed the can down on the back making a dent into the can.

Ced stumbled back into the ropes leaning up against them as he captured his breath while the Champion was managing to regain his composure as he rose up to a knee. Ced ran towards Jaden putting him back down with a big boot to the side of the head. "Young Simba" looked around ringside looking for some other form of weaponry. He dropped down and rolled out of the ring. He pulled the apron up and smiled as he found a few steel chair under the ring before eventually throwing them into the ring. Jaden had managed to get his hands on one and as his opponent slid into the ring and got up to his feet, Jaden caught him in the gut with a chair strike. And Jaden Sennoa with a CHAIR SHOT TO THE BACK.

Ced screamed out in agony as he turned around into a CHAIR SHOT TO THE HEAD. The #1 Contender rolled over onto his gut as The Champion raised his arms in pre-match victory smiling as he stared down at his opponent. Ced crawled over to the ropes and grabbed a hold onto them as he got up to a knee revealing the BLOOD that was pouring from the top of his head. Jaden had busted his opponent open. It was clear, he was out for blood. Jaden waited for Ced to get back up to his feet before he smashed the CHAIR OVER THE HEAD of Ced once again. Jaden dropped the chair and went for the cover. First pinfall of the match.

1...

2, Kick out at 2 by Ced. Jaden smiled as he looked down at his opponent watching as the blood poured down from his face. Jaden mounted over Ced and piled in the punches repeatedly on the open wound of his challenger. He then finsihed up his assault with a headbutt to the head as the WWE Universe booed Jaden who wiped his head wiping the blood of Ced off. "The Samoan Killer" stalked his opponent waiting for him to get up to a vertical base leaning up against the ropes. Jaden ran towards Ced and clotheslined him over the top rope. Ced landed on his feet but tripped on over onto the barricade.

A bloodied and battered Ced looked up to see his mother, father, and younger sister all staring at him with worry in their eyes. He nodded at them as he dropped down in agony. The Champion looked on in the center of the ring waiting for Ced to rise up to his feet. The Challenger almost out of instinct rose up to his feet. His never die attitude was gonna get him to keep fighting even if his body was telling him to stop. Jaden Sennoa ran to the ropes giving Ced enough time to look around finding a steel chair on the outside that must have gotten lost in the shuffle. Jaden jumped through the top and middle rope and was met with a STEEL CHAIR TO THE HEAD. Ced stumbled onto the barricade looking at Jaden stunned as he had the Champion down. The Champion had turned over onto his back as Ced looked on watching as the blood began to seep from the open wound of the Champion. Both men were bloodied and battered. Jaden Sennoa crawled over to the corner of the barricade near the time keeper's area.

Ced gave out a battle cry as he ran towards Jaden at full speed before spearing JADEN SENNOA THROUGH THE BARRICADE.

Both men were a laid there feeling the pain as they panted for their breath. They laid there for a few seconds until it was Ced who was the first person to move who crawled to the ringside area struggling with each movement. He rose up to his feet and started to limp over to the announce table leaning up against it. Jaden rose up to his feet holding his ribs obviously in pain. It was miracle he was even standing at all but Championship gold had a way of motivating men. And even through the pain, The Champion refused to give up.

"Young Simba" began to tear the cover off the announce table and threw the cover at Jaden Sennoa who came stumbling over. Ced ripped the monitors off the announce table and waited till Jaden Sennoa had stumbled over to the table to hit him in the HEAD WITH A MONITOR knocking him over onto the table. Ced dropped the monitor and looked around surveying the damage before he looked up at the turnbuckle and turned back looking at the announce table. A sick smile formed on his face as he quickly ran into the ring sliding under the bottom rope. He walked towards the turnbuckle and climbed up slowly as the anticipation in the crowd grew with each step he took. Once he got up to the top, he made a loop around the side of his face as if he were crazy.

"Air Ced!" He yelled as he jumped FROM THE TURNBUCKLE TO THE ANNOUNCE TABLE WITH A ELBOW DROP TO JADEN SENNOA PUTTING THEM BOTH THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE.

"Holy Shit! Holy Shit! Holy Shit!" The fans chanted as the two men were putting their bodies on the line for the coveted WWE Intercontinental Championship. Both men laid there feeling the effects of what was going on. They both wanted it but only one man would be able to walk out of the ring as Champion. Only one man could be the WWE Intercontinental Champion. And both men were deinitely feeling the effects of their fight. It was clear this wasn't a wrestling match but rather a fight. A fight that had been going on for nearly 20 minutes. No matter who will win both men deserve to be proud. They put their bodies on the line and were having a great match.

"Young Simba" was the first man to slowly crawl away from the carnage crawling over to the ring apron. Bloodied, Battered and Bruised. There was no question that after this match they both will never ever be the same again. Ced used the ring apron to slowly pull himself up as the Intercontinental Champion had managed to slowly reach his feet. Ced leaning up against the ring apron and Jaden leaning up against the barricade. Both men stared each other down as the WWE Universe were cheering. Both men looked around the crowd as the blood poured down on their face creating a crimson mask for both of their faces.

"I can do this all day." Ced shouted at Jaden who simply nodded and told Ced to bring it. And it was on, once again. Ced and Jaden Sennoa were trading blows back and forth with Jaden getting the advantage with a hard forearm smash to the face making the #1 Contender stumble back while Jaden followed and had Ced leaning up agains the ring apron once again. Jaden grabbed Ced and drug him over to the steel steps and smashed the bloodied face of "Young Simba" into the steel steps making him drop down on his back.

Jaden moaned in agony as he had a hand on his ribs. It could've easily been guessed that he might have had the cracked rib or worse. He looked at the steel steps with a sadistic smile as he ribbed apart the steps and tossed them into the ring. He had the heart of a Champion. The pain didn't matter to him. He wanted to retain his title and was gonna do whatever it took to make sure that he could keep the Intercontinental Championship in his grasp.

He reached down and grabbed Ced lifting him up to his feet. Jaden tried to whip Ced into the barricade but Ced reversed it sending Jaden crashing back-first into the barricade. The challenger walked towards the Champion and stood over him looking down at him. He looked up at the fans who were sitting at ringside and settled on one walking over to him.

"Hey, let me get your shoe."

"My shoe?"

"Yeah, your shoe." Ced said as he pointed down to his boots while he looked on watching as the fan bent down and took off his shoes handing it to him. Ced being the huge sneakerhead that he was recognized it as the "Chicago" Jordan 1 Off-White. He gave the fan a thumbs up and walked towards Jaden Sennoa waiting for Jaden to reach his feet before striking him over the head with the Jordan 1s getting the fans to cheer once more as he walked over to the fans handing him his Jordan's back.

Ced was feeling it. He nodded his head along slapping the side of his head as he was fired up. He reached down and grabbed Jaden Sennoa throwing him into the ring. Ced reached down up under the ring and grabbed a table from out under and threw it into the ring. "Young Simba" climbed up onto the turnbuckle looking to take it to the skies but "The Left Hand of Destruction" had other plans and ran towards Ced catching him with Kona Quake (Muscle Buster). Jaden looking to retain the title here tonight and hooked the leg.

Thr-No, Ced powers out right before the 3 count as the WWE Universe cheered at the top of their lungs at Ced's resilience. Although it was just a set up for Jaden's finisher the Kona Klutch, it was still a devasting maneuver. He had managed to put a lot of men down with that maneuver but not Ced. Ced wasn't like most men. Jaden quickly got up to his feet and walked towards the referee getting into his face yelling at him about the pinfall. Jaden pushed him into the corner and started to get face to face with him. WWE Senior Official, Charles Robinson was fed up with the bull and pushed Jaden allowing Ced to catch him with a School Boy Roll-Up.

1...

2, Jaden powers out at 2. Jaden and Ced both reached back to a vertical base. Ced caught him with a fireman's carry looking for the Deathbomb but Jaden reversed it and instead turned it into a Kona Klutch. Ced waved his arms around frantically as he felt his oxygen supply being cut off. Ced had dropped down to a knee while Jaden kept tightning his grip. The referee walked towards Ced and grabbed his arm and dropped it to let it free fall but Ced raised his arm up in defiance shaking it as the WWE Universe were cheering.

Despite Jaden's efforts, Ced managed to get up on his feet but Jaden was giving up and jumped on his back wrapping his tree trunk-like legs around the waist of Ced. Jaden had Ced reeling ocne against as he dropped down to a knee once more but Ced's resilence would not allow him to give up. He rose up to his feet and backed Jaden up into the turnbuckle making him loosen up his grip. He came out of the corner and backed Jaden up into the turnbuckle once more but Jaden like a man posseed wrapped his arms tigher around the neck. "Young Simba" surveyed around the ring looking at the steps and came out of the corner struggling to carry the weight of Jaden. The fatigue in this match was starting to set as he stumbled out of the cover and turned just in time as he fell making Jaden land on his back on the steel steps. The fans cheered as both men were putting their bodies on the line and taking years off their careers.

Ced rolled off of Jaden's body and crawled over to the corner and used it pulling himself up groggily feeling the blood loss. Ced walked on over to the table he grabbed earlier and set it up in the ring looking at the fans nodding his head along as he heard them chant his name.

"Ced! Ced! Ced!" He heard them chant as he turned around and watched as Jaden Sennoa was leaning up against the ropes. Jaden flipped Ced off as Ced told him to bring it. Jaden then ran towards Ced and got caught with a Double C Spinebuster.

The Intercontinental Champion and the challenger laid in the center of the ring both battered and bruised. But the fight of the challenger would not give up as he kipped up making the WWE Universe go bananas as the famous, "Gorilla Monsoon" would say.

"Come on!" Ced yelled out at the crowd as they were cheering from the top of their lungs. Ced shook his head frantically as he looked around the ring before his eyes set on a table that was set up in the ring. He pointed towards it nodding his head along to the cheers. The bloodied, Jaden Sennoa crawled over to the ropes and used them to pull himself up to his feet. He turned around into a fireman's carry. Luckily, he was able to elbow his way out of the hold. Jaden went to the ropes and when he rebounded off, he attempted to go for his trademark, Running Superkick but Ced ducked it. Ced got him up for the Deathbomb. And a DEATHBOMB THROUGH THE TABLE. The WWE Universe cheered as Ced draped his arm over his opponent damn near exhausted.

HE DID IT. HE WON THE INTERCONTINTNEAL CHAMPIONSHIP FOR A SECOND TIME. HE WAS THE CHAMPION.

"Here is your winner and the NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion: Ced!"

Ced rolled away from the carnage and stared up at the ceiling as he smiled. He pointed a finger up at the ceiling as he crawled over to the ropes and one last time used them to pull himself up. The referee. The man who had witnessed it all. The man who counted the final count. The man in charge making sure that these men don't kill themselves handed off the classic white and gold Championship to the new Champion.

Ced kissed the title that he worked so hard to regain. He kissed his title before he raised it up in the air getting a few more cheers from his fans. He pointed off into the crowd at the fans who raised signs for him. He nodded his head along to the music as he walked over to the corner and raised the Championship title in the air. The WWE Universe was ecstatic. And they had every right to be. Their hero was finally the Intercontinental Champion again.

(!)-(!)-(!)-(!)

Cedric walked backstage with the title on his shoulder as his face was still a crimson mask. He was loaded with sweat. Most of the guys and girls in the back all lined up clapping for Cedric who just went out and had one of the most grueling matches in his career. He nodded along thanking several of the guys and girls. He even got a good job from The Undertaker. The Undertaker told Cedric that he had a good match! That's something that never happens!

Once he reached the end of the line, he saw his girlfriend waiting there patiently with her arms behind her back and a huge smile on her face.

"I'm sweaty and bloody. And I'm not sure if this is mostly my blood or his." He said walking towards her.

"I don't care." She said hugging him and giving him a quick peck on the lips as he wrapped his arms around her engulfing her within a hug. Mercedes saw that and followed the plan walking over to the him and placing a black box in his hand. When he pulled away, he placed the Intercontinental title on her shoulder making her look confused as most people around them started to pull out their phones to record.

"7 years ago, I met an angel. Angel who made my day just seeing her smile. I met an angel who refused to allow to give up or feel sorry for myself. I met an angel who no matter if she had to deal with someone who was bigger than her or smaler than her, she always stood up for me. I met an angel who always did the right thing. I met an angel that I fell for the minute I saw her. But that angel had her eyes set on another guy who I'm lucky as hell she didn't make it with. And then in High School that love made us unite but I let my fear get in the way of that. I left this angel with no note or a goodboye. And that was the biggest regret of my life but luckily I was given a second chance. And we were reunited. And ever since you have been the guiding light in my life. You've given me a home, a son and a reason to keep fighting. But I want to make that home official. So with that being said." He said as he then kneeled down to one knee and pulled the box out from behind his back and opened making Kala look at him gasping as she put a hand over her mouth while tears started to fall down her face.

"Kalani Aaliyah Rose, Will you marry me?" There was a moment of silence as everyone in the room awaited for her answer. The ring was an expensive gold ring with a

"Yes! A million times yes!" She answered making him stand up and smile as she jumped into his arms giving him a smooch while Cedric's co-workers started to cheer around them. He put her down on her feet as they both were laughing. He took the ring out of the box and slid it onto her finger making her smile widen. The soon to be married couple kissed once more.

To say that Cedric felt on top of the world would be an understatement. He was Champion, a father and engaged. Life couldn't get any better for him at the moment.
