Over at Mcfist's building, Mcfist glared at Viceroy as he said "Nice going Viceroy, my robot serpent did do anything."
"Didn't It?" The taller man said in a sarcastic tone.
"That's what I just said."
"That smoke that my robot-"
"My robot"
Viceroy rolled his eyes. "Your robot sprayed on the ninja was just some dream powder. The ninja having nightmares for days."
"So?"
"So, he'll soon be too tired too fight. That'll be when we'll get your robots too catch the ninja."
"Ou, that'll be might be my best plan yet. Glad I thought of it."
Viceroy sighed.
Back at Norsvile and now inside, Randy had took off his ninja grab and dashed through the quiet hallways. Hiding behind a corner like the ninja he was, he peaked over and saw feathers, seeds, tiny specs of poop scattered everywhere, but not a feathered rat nor anyone in sight. The coast was clear. A smile sprang up on his face after he breathed. However, as he walked out and was about to head to his next class, he heard a voice popping up.
"Randy?"
Ahhh!"
He turned and jumped back with with widen eyes.
"Oh, hey Nomicon." The purple-haired teen uttered and trying to mask his nervousness with a grin to his green-eyed brother. "I was just uh..."
Randy broke eye contact, struggling to find what to say next, but Nomicon spoke first, "The chickens were taken care of. Some of the students herded them to cages."
That's great. Oh boy, glad I wasn't here... in this area."
Just as Randy spotted his his older brother peering down, he looked curios on what his big bro was staring at. His eyes soon widen at the sight of a blood stain on his stomach. The robot; it must have been sliced with out him realizing it.
"Oh, I... was helping... a home ed teacher find some muster and her class room and some ketchup fail on must have fallen on me. Randy hoped that was a good enough excuse.
Nomicon raised an eye brow before saying "Zip up your coat nest time." He said.
"Ha, ha, sure thing Nomicon." Randy replied and walked off. Happy that his big bro didn't didn't press him farther.
The rest of the day went okay, his brother didn't ask more questions, no Stanked Monsters, no Mcfist bots and no worries that was until it was time to go to bed after a long time of struggling to get the blood stain out.
Randy walked up the stairs with a smile on his face. He finished cleaning his clothes quicker then normal and nothing but quiet all around. Nomicon and their mom gone to bed an hour ago.
He went into his room and gotten ready to go to bed.
Laying down in bed, he closed his eyes, when the blue eyed ninja found himself in a dark void. Coming into sight, everyone at school lying on the ground. Not moving, motionless like a doll. "What the double juice happen?"
Just then, his eyes widen and his sank as he soon caught the of his brother and Howard lying on the ground, too not moving.
He dashed over towards his loved one's side. "Howard? Nomicon?" He called out, but no answer, no response came.
He knelt down and shook their shoulders, still nothing happened.
All of the sudden, his best friend and his bro faded away.
"Howard? Nomicon? NO!" He called out.
Soon his vision went black, he shot opened his eyes, he gasped before panting, heart beating rapid.
As things quieted down he search around. Finding out that he was now sitting in his bed, Randy uttered "It-it was just a dream?" He uttered.
Breathing a sigh of relief, thankful that his scream didn't wake his mom nor Nomicon up. He lied back down. The last thing he needed was for his family to worry about him and asking him for answers. He soon went back to sleep, but only to gotten a few minutes later.
In the morning, Nomicon woken up. After getting ready to go school, he walked into the kitchen and have breakfast. Soon he heard foot steps in the next room. Most likely his brother. As the red hair teen was about ready to greet Randy, he turned and grown a concerned face at the sight of his brother walking in looking more tired then usual. As Randy took a seat, their mom place pancakes in front of him, before heading out.
Nomicon asked "Are you alright?"
"Uh, yeah never better." His purple haired brother said.
He could tell something was up when Randy tried giving him a grin, though that could be just from the lack of sleep.
The best thing could do right was to say "A person who avoids a battle ends up fighting a war."
"Me, no, I'm not avoiding anything."
Nomicon rolled his eyes.
"Randy, Nomicon the school bus is here." He heard their mother said in the background.
At that moment, he and Randy didn't say another word and went to the bus.
When they're at school and in one of the classes where he his brother and Howard had the same class, Nomicon look over to see his brother nodding off a lot. He wanted to do something, but being farther away from him, he couldn't do much of anything.
His concerned face shifted to a small smile when he saw Howard who sat next to his little brother started waking him up numerous times. However, despite happiness and gratitude he felt for Howard's assistance, he could only grown more concern. Randy was more of night owl then he was, but he wasn't this tired for school.
As soon as the class ends, he would see what the juice is going on.
Over at Randy's end class when class ended he walkied through the halls with Howard.
"So anyway, I was thinking-" He heard Howard yammering, but wasn't paying too much attention.
Letting out a groan, he heard Howard commenting "Wow dude, you look the walking dead."
He sighed. "You don't know the half of it. I couldn't sleep well last night. I keep having these nightmares."
"Oh please, I 'am sure they're not that bad."
Randy glared at his best friend. "Oh yeah? How about everyone dying right in front of me?"
"Eee. Okay, okay, all I 'am saying is that..."
He made another groan, not wanting to hear more of Howard's chattering, he walked off. To where? He didn't know nor cared, he just needed to get away.
Nomicon on the other hand was out looking around for his tired bro, but come up empty handed, though he did caught the sight of Howard at a distance appearing to be looking around.
The red haired teen walked towards the younger one. As soon as did Howard looked at him, he greeted.
"Oh hey, have you seen your bro around?" He questioned.
Nomicon widen eyes a bit and raised an eye-brow. "No. I thought he'll be with you."
"Agh, I've been trying to find him ever since he ran off somewhere?"
"Hm."
It looks like he have keep up his brother search. Great.
"Say,what's going on with Randy? He's been more often washing his clothes at night and now he's acting like he is haven't gotten any sleep."
"Oh no, I 'am not going say anything. Your brother could tell you himself."
As much as the green-eyed teen respected that was Howard protecting Randy's private life, he still couldn't get rid off this feeling that his brother is in need of his help.
Just then, Howard asked "Hey, what has gotten your bro afraid of chicken so bad?"
Nomicon sighed. "When I was four and Randy was two, our mom took us two Cluck Fest. Somehow Randy snuck away from us. Our mom where looking for him four hours. A farmer came by carrying Randy in his arms, scared. He had cuts all around his body including one near his eye. The farmer said that he must have messed with some roaming chickens and a roster."
The older teen soon saw Howard's eyes widen, but continued.
"As you could see the wounds healed, but Randy still kept his fear. We tried our best to help him concur his fear. Mom made him look up chicken facts and I told him that in order to concur your fear is to embrace it. Neither seem to work."
"Thanks. I'll tell him that you're looking for him."
Nomicon watched Howard head off before he did the same.
