While the pirates were doing their work on deck, Anna and Kristoff quietly rushed over towards a corner. After peering around for anyone nearby, they went towards each other.

"I wish that we could just get back to sleep," Anna yawned. "I'm surprised that I don't have a headache."

Kristoff glanced over his shoulder before he locked eyes back on Anna. "Well, that's not happening anytime soon. Where's Eugene?"

Once Anna saw that Eugene was behind the wheel with Golden Eye nearby, she pointed in that direction. From what she was hearing, Eugene was agreeing in a conversation that Golden Eye had begun.

"At least he's on Golden Eye's good side," Kristoff whispered. "I'll be happy when we get off the ship."

"Me too," Anna whispered back. "That reminds me, do you know when we'll be getting closer to Pazatrille?"

Kristoff sighed. "I have no idea, Anna. If anyone would know, it would be either Golden Eye or Eugene. I haven't talked to Eugene since we brought the rum up here last night and I doubt Golden Eye would say anything to us."

"He thinks we're pirates so he should."

Kristoff shot a doubtful expression at her. "He thinks we're amateur pirates, remember?"

"Oh, that's right," Anna groaned. She peered back over at Eugene and saw that he was engrossed in Golden Eye's conversation. "We could ask Eugene."

Kristoff nodded. "We just have to wait until Golden Eye stops talking to him." He stretched his arms out and a yawn escaped. "I still can't believe he woke us up so early and it was all for a stupid false alarm."

"Well, look at the bright side, Kristoff," Anna brightly said. "We didn't attack Maui or anyone."

"Good point," Kristoff agreed. After letting out a loud laugh, Golden Eye moved away from Eugene and started to head towards the middle of the ship. "Now's our chance."

Their opportunity was spoiled, though, when Golden Eye ordered everyone to the middle of the ship, Anna and Kristoff had no choice but to do what they were told. Anna yawned as she went towards the middle.

After making sure that everyone was paying attention, Golden Eye took a large gulp from his bottle of rum and peered at his crew. "See, mates, it ain't so bad to be up so early now, is it? Ye all got lots of work finished. We still have loads of work and we need to…."

While Golden Eye was talking, Anna found herself staring at the ground with her eyes almost shutting due to lack of sleep. That was one thing that she was looking forward to when they got off this ship, got the map back from Puck, and headed to Bronzadelle—she would be able to sleep in at the cottage that they would rent from Wadsworth. She couldn't wait to see what the cottage would look like.

Just then Anna realized that Golden Eye had stopped talking. After a few minutes of silence, she slowly peered up and saw that Golden Eye and the entire crew were staring right at her. Well, that was awkward. Why was everyone staring at her? What had Golden Eye said that made everyone quiet? The main question was why was she suddenly the center of attention? What had she done?

"Okay, what's up, mates?" Anna slurred with a smile.

Golden Eye spun around to Peepers. "Peepers, why don't ye tell Adrie what she and Jake will be doing today? She seemed to be off in la la land."

Before Peepers could speak, Anna cut in. "I thought that you—ye said that me and Kr—Jake will be taking turns between being a powder monkey and a swab?"

"That's right, I did, didn't I?" Golden Eye mused. "For amateurs, ye know yer jobs?" He peered over at Eugene. "Rider, what were their jobs on Lady Caine's crew?"

"They were powder monkeys, Captain," Eugene answered, stepping forward to him. "Lady Caine has them at that position because she doesn't want them to get a higher rank until they were properly trained with weapons." He pointed at himself with a large grin. "That's why she had me train them."

Anna couldn't help but be impressed with Eugene's lies. She could see why he was a very skilled conman and she had no doubt that their hoax would be a success.

"At least she's aware of the lack of skill these two amateurs have," Golden Eye commented. "Let's hope that being on me crew will make them real pirates." He turns to Peepers with a beckoning hand. "Take it, Peepers!"

"Ye and Jake will mop the top deck before ye mop under deck," Peepers informed.

"I thought we mopped that already?" Anna asked, peering around the deck. She heard Kristoff sighing. "We cleaned that deck like three hours ago."

Myra finished wiping her rifle and peered over at Anna. "Aye, ye did mop it, but yer forgetting that rum got spilled on it. Ye two need to mop it again."

"That can wait till later. Now, what else do ye want us to clean—"

As Golden Eye took another chug, rum poured down his chin and onto his jacket. After he finished his drink, he tossed the bottle over the railing and it went into the sea. "I'm the Captain and I said that ye and Jake will clean the top deck first."

When a loud, drunken laugh was heard, the entire crew peered over to the right where a tall pirate stood with a smug expression and boasted, "At least, I'm not the swab anymore."

"Enjoy it while ye can, Lennie," Golden Eye slurred. "Because when Rider and his dumb lackeys leave, ye won't be a cabin boy anymore and ye'll get yer job back."

After Lennie groaned and shook his head, Rolly stepped forward with his hand raised. "So, I'm not the cabin boy?"

"Nah, we just have two cabin boys for now," Golden Eye answered. He took his attention away from the two pirates and peered at Eugene. "Rider, how much closer are we getting to Pazatrille?"

Anna and Kristoff shot a glance at each other and peered right back at Eugene. This was finally the time when Anna and Kristoff would hear how much closer they were to their destination. The sooner they get off this ship, the better.

"As long as we don't run into any delays," Eugene began, "we should be arriving there in almost a week."

Eugene's news left Anna with mixed feelings. At least it wouldn't be much longer that they would be on board, but still, they would have to be with Golden Eye and his crew until then. Anna could tell that Maximus and Sven were feeling the same way by their facial expressions.

"Are ye sure that we'll be there in a week, Rider?" Kristoff questioned. "Is there any chance that we could be there by tomorrow? Maybe even tonight?"

Golden Eye scoffed and shook his head at Kristoff. "Weren't ye a sailor before ye became a thief, pretty boy? Don't ye know how to navigate the ocean?"

"I was just being hopeful, Captain." Kristoff frowned, crossing his arms.

Golden Eye turned away from him and headed toward a different part of the ship. "I can't believe Davy Jones has cursed me with two lousy amateurs on here."

Anna was about ready to stomp over to him. "Well, I can't believe—"

"Okay," Eugene laughed, standing in front of Kristoff and Anna. "Let's not lose our heads here, guys. Hey, you know what I think would be a good idea, Captain? If I could just show Jake and Adrie the map in your office?"

"Out of the question, Rider," Golden Eye denied, shaking his head. "They need to mop the deck first!"

"I know, but it won't be long. I can—"

"I said no!"

Anna knew that Eugene wasn't really going to show her and Kristoff the map; he had something important that he wanted to share with them. After a short neigh and bray were heard, everyone turned to see that Maximus and Sven had picked up the mops with their mouths and were mopping the deck.

Golden Eye nodded at them with an impressed look. "Ye don't see that too often."

"They help us all the time." Kristoff nodded, pointing at them. "They are two of Lady Caine's favorites."

"They can even fight!" Anna added. "Now we must be on our way. We really need to see that map."

"Ye two still need to mop this deck!" Golden Eye slurred. "I can give Apples and Carrots different jobs. They're too good to be swabs."

"Uh, Captain," Eugene began, "they could mop for Jake and Adrie while I show them the map and then when we get back, Jake and Adrie can finish their job."

Golden Eye let out a sigh. "Fine. And when you bring Jake and Adrie back up here, show Apples and Carrots the map too. I think they seem to have real potential as companions."

"No problem." Eugene smiled.

When Anna stepped inside Golden Eye's office, she peered around the small room. There were maps all scattered all over his desk and a large window, showing the view of the ocean waves below. She wanted to go closer to the window and have a better look at the ocean until she heard the door close behind them.

When Eugene walked over to them, he looked as if he was about to pull his hair out. "What. Are. You. Thinking? You keep trying to give us away."

"Well, it's not our fault," Anna retorted, throwing her arms in the air. "We don't know—"

Kristoff turned to her after he checked for anyone around. "You're the one who keeps talking back to them!"

"Me?! You've also—"

"You both could get us killed!" Eugene hissed. "Listen, we're only going to be here for a week and then we'll finally be in Pazatrille. We just need to keep up with this heist a little longer. Anyway, did Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd ask about me?"

Kristoff shook his head. "No. Why?"

Eugene ran his hand through his hair. "Okay, after we brought the rum up to the deck last night, I went back below deck to try to find an apple and carrot for Maximus and Sven when I saw that Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck found my pendants from Corona and The Dark Kingdom." Anna and Kristoff gasped. "I told them that Lady Caine had stolen them from Corona and The Dark Kingdom and had asked me to hold on to them until we get to Pazatrille where we would sell them."

"Did they believe you?" Anna inquired.

Eugene nodded. "Fortunately."

"What were they doing down there in the first place?" Kristoff asked. Anna was wondering the same thing. "Did Peepers or Myra send them down for something?"

"Apparently Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd were trying to sneak back into their hammocks to get more sleep," Eugene explained. "They must've dropped their plan when they saw me down here."

"Did they tell Golden Eye?" Anna questioned.

"Not that I know of," Eugene confirmed. "I'm sure they will soon, but I'll just tell him the same story that I told them. And if anyone comes to you about the pedants, you tell them the same thing that I did. Got it?"

Kristoff and Anna both nodded and then the trio decided to head up on deck. After the boys left the room, Anna quickly glanced around for any sign of Betsey. She had not seen the parrot for a while now and was afraid that she could be spying on them. She wished that she could search the room but she knew that she had to get back up on deck. Anna slid out of the room and caught up with Kristoff and Eugene.

When Ella pushed the door open, the sunlight blazed in her face, and through the bright light, she could see the entire crew on deck, spread out from each other. She peered around the area as she stepped forward. The sailors all seemed to be doing their daily duties and she could hear Captain Murphy give them an order.

Ella had spent the entire morning below deck in hopes of keeping everyone safe from her magic. She had originally intended to stay in her cabin all week, but she was queasy therefore needed fresh air. She figured that even though there would be many people on board, the deck was big enough for her to have her own space and that she wouldn't be up there very long.

The motion on the ship was making her feel nauseated, like she was going to be seasick. The waves below them had been acting crazy for almost two hours now. Ella placed her hand on her mouth and she darted over to the railing. When her hands grasped the railing, she closed her eyes and heard herself coughing and vomiting over the railing. Footsteps rushed over to her.

"Are you alright?" Captain Murphy asked.

Ella spluttered before she glanced over her shoulder to see him standing there. "I'm alright." She peered back over to the ocean. "I think that I'm just not used to being on a ship."

"It happens all the time," Captain Murphy said in a comforting voice. "You're not the first person to have gotten seasick on the Daaphelia." Ella stared at him with furrowed eyebrows and a perplexed expression. "That's the name of the ship."

"Oh," Ella nodded. She turned away from the railing and peered at the door. "I should get back down."

"Why don't you stay up on deck for a while, Ella?" Captain Murphy suggested. "The fresh air will help and they're going to pass out sandwiches in a few minutes. It'll help you overcome the seasickness."

After the Captain went to another part of the deck, Ella slowly went over to a barrel that was up against the railing and sat down. She peered up at the light green flag at the top of the pole. There appeared to be a symbol of a dove engraved on it. She quickly clasped her mouth and hurled over to the railing again, closing her eyes.

"Ella?" Cassandra's voice asked. Ella turned and saw that she was standing right next to her and had a telescope in her hand. "I heard you and the Captain talking. How are you holding up?"

"I'm okay. Other than my seasickness, I'm still a bit shaken up from last night."

"I bet. At least you survived and didn't get hypothermia. You were lucky that Hans was on deck the same time you were."

Ella nodded. "I wonder why he was there at the time."

Cassandra peered through her telescope. "After you refused to let anyone on deck with you, I figured that you were up to something. After Hans and I left your room and went up on deck, I told him that I had a feeling that you were planning to leave the Daaphelia. He didn't believe me at first until I reminded him about how you were frightened about your powers. We kept watch on deck for a while until I heard that one of the sailors had lost something. Hans must've stayed up and seen you."

"Where is he, anyway?"

Cassandra put down her telescope and was just about to answer her when they heard footsteps coming over to them. When Cassandra turned, Ella saw that Hans was coming over towards them while the sailors ignored him like he didn't exist.

"Is she alright?" Hans questioned, spotting her at the railing. After that, Ella was forced to hurl over the railing again while Cassandra told him about her seasickness.

Ella wiped her mouth and turned to Hans and Cassandra. When they asked her if they needed anything, she shook her head at them. She hoped that this seasickness would go away soon. She didn't want to risk getting anyone hurt because of her magic.

"When I get better," Ella began, "can I go back to my cabin?"

"That is up to you, Ella," Hans answered. "We cannot make your choices for you."

"You should get plenty of fresh air for a while first," Cassandra suggested. She peered through her telescope. "We're lucky that it's a nice day out."

Hans noticed Cassandra's telescope. "Do you see anything?"

Cassandra shook her head. "So far, I haven't." Ella noticed that something small was flying towards them and a smile formed on Cassandra's face as she put away her telescope and stuck out her arm.

"What is it?" Ella asked.

"An old friend," Cassandra answered. "I have eyes in the sky."

Ella's eyes widened when she saw that a brown owl with yellow-black eyes and dark horns landed on Cassandra's arm. The owl hooted and had a small piece of paper in its right claw.

"An owl," Ella commented in awe. The owl let out a shriek, forcing her to jump back and she swore that she heard ice crackling behind her. Hans gestured for her to calm down and when she did, her magic went away. "Is it yours?"

"Yes," Cassandra answered. "His name is Owl."

Hans crossed his arms. "Fitting."

After she shot an icy look at him, Cassandra peered back down at Owl. "Did you see anything?"

Owl nodded and raised his right claw to her and she took the small piece of paper. She unfolded it, peered down at it for a moment, and peered back at her owl.

"And was this from Kumandra?" Cassandra asked. Owl nodded. Cassandra was just about to speak to him again when Hans interrupted.

Ella narrowed her eyes. "Didn't you say that you were just there?"

"I did," Cassandra confirmed. She turned back to Owl. "The letter says that they know where the map is. It is in Delitpen." She put down the letter. "At least they found out where the map is."

"Why was the map stolen anyway?" Hans questioned. "What happened?"

"During a feast of the five tribes of Kumandra," Cassandra began. "The Stabbingtons broke into the palace of Heart and stole one of the maps. Princess Raya caught them and fought them, but they got away from her."

"How did you know?" Hans asked.

"Chief Benya told me when I came to Kumandra," Cassandra explained. "Raya had already left by the time I arrived. I promised Kumandra that I would do anything I can to help them."

"I suppose that you have allies in Kumandra as well?" Hans questioned.

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I've been friends with people in Kumandra for a couple of months now. Well, when I first met Raya, we didn't exactly hit it off. We both were cynical and mistrusting of each other. If it hadn't been for Sisu, we still would not have changed our minds."

"Did Raya have a reason why she didn't trust you?"

While Ella listened to Cassandra explain to Hans about Raya, Owl squinted his eyes and dashed over to the top pole. Ella was just about to alert Cassandra and Hans when Owl's bark and a screech from another bird were heard, instantaneously drawing the attention of everyone on board.

Owl was clawing at a blue and green parrot that was trying to defend itself. The two birds rolled over each other on the pole barking, screeching, and clawing at each other. Samul shouted something and raced below deck, slamming the door behind him.

The parrot tossed Owl off and swooped down, but Owl quickly recovered and was in pursuit of it. The two birds flew around the long pole before they finally flew in another direction. Owl tried to grab the parrot but the parrot dodged to the left with a squawk. The same thing happened again except this time the parrot dodged to the right.

A sailor entered the deck with a tray full of sandwiches, announcing for everyone to get their lunch. The parrot flew between the sailor's legs with Owl following behind it, nearly causing the sailor to lose his balance.

Ella tried to think of something she could do, but her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the door fly open and footsteps race farther on deck.

"I'll save you, Owl!" Samul shouted, coming to a complete halt in the middle of the deck.

As Owl continued to chase the parrot in the air, Samul aimed a harpoon gun at the latter bird. Cassandra ordered him to put the gun away, but he didn't listen. The parrot swooped towards the center pole but this time, Owl took the other direction and blocked it. The parrot tried to go to the right and then to the left yet it didn't stop Owl from blocking it.

Right when Owl charged towards it with his talons hanging out, the parrot struck him without warning and Owl went backward. The parrot let out a squawk and dove towards the deck with Owl quickly recovering and chasing after it.

Samul aimed the harpoon gun at the parrot and, just as he pulled the lever, the parrot dodged out of the way, and the harpoon headed straight for Captain Murphy and the sailor with the sandwiches. Fortunately, Captain Murphy grabbed the sailor and they dodged out of the way in time, sending sandwiches flying in the air. The harpoon hit a barrel and wine poured out on the ground.

When the parrot swooped up towards one of the flags with Owl following behind, Samul aimed the harpoon gun again. He was just about to shoot his target when the wine snuck under his feet, causing him to fall to the ground and release the harpoon. The harpoon hit one of the poles cutting a rope that was holding a flag and the flag fell on Owl. Before Owl could try to break free, the parrot swooped towards him, wrapped the entire flag around him, and threw him towards the deck.

As the parrot flew away from the ship, the flag-covered owl plummeted towards the ground but Cassandra caught him and unwrapped him with the help of Hans and Ella. Owl was unharmed but he peered at the sky with icy eyes and flew after the parrot. Ella turned and watched the parrot fly away with Owl chasing behind it.

"I tried to get that parrot!" Samul sniveled, pointing his weapon to the ground. "It just got away!"

Hans swung around towards him and ordered, "Put that away!"

"I was just—"

"Put that away!"

"I know how to use it!"

"Apparently you can't!" Hans hissed. "Put it away!"

Samul fisted his right left hand on his hip. "You can't tell me what you do," he retorted tartly. "You're not the Captain!"

"I may not be a Captain," Hans fumed, mirroring him. "But still, I am a Prince!"

"A disgraced Prince!" Samul grumbled.

"Samul, put that damn thing away!" Cassandra scolded. "Now! Owl might've got it if it hadn't been for you!"

"I was trying to save your owl," Samul said. "And here you are, acting like I'm some kind of villain!"

"Why were you shooting that thing?" Captain Murphy asked, anger rising in his voice.

Ella turned to see that Captain Murphy was marching over to Samul, almost slipping on the wine. Some of the sailors bent down to help clean up the sandwiches and a swab was getting ready to clean up the spill.

"I was trying to help!" Samul whined.

"You know you could've killed us!" Captain Murphy scolded. "I could've been killed! Do you even know how to use that?!"

"Of course, I do! I know how to use it from whaling!"

"Oh, don't be ridiculous, Samul!" An older sailor shook his head. "When have you ever gone whaling?"

"I went whaling with my cousin two years ago before I became a sailor," Samul spoke, putting his head high. "While my cousin was using the harpoon gun, I was reading a book, learning how to use one so that was how I learned how to use one."

Cassandra cocked an eyebrow. "Have you ever practiced with one?"

"No, I didn't need to because I read about them," Samul replied. He went closer towards Hans and craned closer to him. "You'd be thinking differently if you hit the wrong target with your magic." He turned and went to another side of the deck.

As Hans frowned at Samul, Ella felt that the temperature around her heating up. Her hands were sweating so she removed her gloves and placed them on a barrel. At first, she thought that it was the sun until she realized that it was getting warm way too fast. Some of the sailors were complaining about the hot temperature causing Cassandra to spin around to Hans.

"Hans," Ella spoke. "I think it's from your magic."

Hans quickly calmed down and the temperature went back to normal. After a long moment of silence, he finally spoke. "Cassandra, do you have any idea why Owl went after that parrot?"

Cassandra peered at the sky. "I don't know, Hans, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the parrot had bad intentions. Owl could've caught it if Samul hadn't grabbed that gun."

While Cassandra and Hans complained about Samul, Ella recalled the previous night with Hans' magic and the sorpoises. He had fought those creatures off so well.

"Hans, I hope you don't mind me asking," Ella began. "Why didn't you use your magic against the parrot?"

Hans eyed her for a long while. "I have my own reasons, Ella." He took his attention away from her and to Cassandra. "So, what do we do now?"

"We'll keep an extra eye out," Cassandra declared.

When Rapunzel opened her eyes, she could hear the trill of a seagull echo over to her in the distance and could tell that it was sometime in the afternoon. She remained on the ground, staring up at the sky before she heard Olaf talking to Pascal.

"Pascal, do you think that we'll see any more dolphins in the water when we land?" Olaf asked, cheerfully. Pascal chattered to him. "Well, I hope we do! Where do you think we will land? Corona, Arendelle, or somewhere new?"

Now that reminded Rapunzel that she should help them look out for any upcoming land. Maybe they were approaching a country? Anything was possible. Hopefully, they were getting close to one. As Rapunzel rose to her feet, she felt something soft brush against her chin.

When her fingers wrapped around it and slowly brought it towards her face, her eyes widened. She saw that her hair was now at neck length. Her hair was already growing? How was this happening? Now she really wanted to know what was in that potion that she'd been given from the merchant.

After Pascal let out a squeak and Olaf asked for her, Rapunzel peered over to them where they both stood with their jaws dropped.

"Yes," Rapunzel admitted, rising to her feet. She hobbled over to them with her left hand running through her hair. "I am just as surprised as you are. I didn't think that my hair would grow back." Pascal chattered to her and she nodded. "Good point, Pascal. My hair still didn't grow as fast as it did when I snuck out with Cass."

Olaf wobbled over to her with a large smile. "Ooh, that means your hair's going to be magical again! You'll have the sundrop again and you can heal people!"

"Gosh," Rapunzel said, "I think you're right, Olaf." Her eyes widened when another thought occurred to her. "Maybe it's already back?"

"Ooh, that'd be great!" Olaf exclaimed. "Wait, how do we know if your magic's back?"

Rapunzel ran her fingers through her hair, peering down at Olaf. "I'll just have to perform an incantation."

"Which one?"

For a moment, Rapunzel stood there, carefully deciding on what incantation she should use to test her magic. Without a doubt, she wouldn't be performing the decay incantation, so it would have to be between the healing or the hope one. After a moment of thought, Rapunzel decided to use the former because her hair was not long enough for the latter.

Rapunzel let out a breath. "Alright, Olaf, Pascal," she began, "Let me know if this works."

After Olaf and Pascal nodded, Rapunzel shut her eyes and listened to the words of the healing incantation slowly flow out of her mouth. When she finished performing the incantation, she opened her eyes where Olaf and Pascal stood in her view.

"Did it work?" Rapunzel nearly shivered as she felt the wind against her shoulders. "Did my hair glow?"

Pascal shook his head.

"Was it supposed to glow?" Olaf asked with furrowed eyebrows. Rapunzel and Pascal nodded at him. "Then no, your hair didn't glow. Or did it and I wasn't paying attention?"

Rapunzel's fingers grabbed the tips of her hair as she peered down at it. If her hair was already growing then why wasn't her magic back? "I don't understand."

"Is that bad?" Olaf questioned, tilting his head. "Has this happened to you before?" Rapunzel shook her head. "I wonder why your hair's not working? Is it broken?"

Rapunzel peered up at him. "Honesty, Olaf, maybe I tried testing my magic prematurely. Maybe my hair's not long enough?"

"Your magic doesn't work with short hair?"

"It never has," Rapunzel responded. "At least it's keeping up our disguise from Mirahton. I just hope that my hair won't get too long."

"Why?"

"If—" Rapunzel paused, knowing that since her hair was already at neck length then it was likely that her hair would continue to grow quickly. "I mean when my hair gets really long, then we'll be at risk with everyone knowing my true identity."

Olaf was quiet for a minute before nodding. "Ah, got it. Well, maybe not, Rapunzel. Having really long hair might help us too."

"Why do you say that?"

"Well, Mirahton thinks that you have a brown pixie so people could think that you're just another girl with really long hair. Remember when Marcella said that Elsa's not the only one with ice magic? It could be the same with you!"

Pascal nodded along, agreeing that Olaf had made a very good point. It was likely that citizens could think that she's another person with really long hair. All she would have to do was to lie.

Rapunzel peered at Olaf and Pascal with a bright look. "That's right. Let's hope that it works, you guys. Have you spotted any land?"

Olaf raced back over to the basket, causing Rapunzel's heart to throb. Once she saw that he wasn't hanging over the edge, she calmed herself down. "I don't think so." He squinted his eyes. "It's really hard to tell."

"If only I had the telescope that my dad gave me," Rapunzel wished, her eyes dimming. "That would help us."

"Where do you think we'll land?" Olaf wondered, peering over his shoulder at her.

Rapunzel sighed and her eyes dimmed. "I wish I knew."

"Do you think that we'll find somewhere safe?"

"I hope so. Rapunzel laid her hands on the basket and stared out into the horizon. The sun was blazing her and the deep blue sea laid far underneath them. "At least we're far away from Mirahton."

Olaf wobbled over towards her and peered down at the ocean. "Are there more dolphins?"

A bright look returned on Rapunzel's face and she let out a small chuckle. "I haven't seen any more yet. We might see some other sea creatures down there."

"Like that one green thing with the shell?" Olaf asked. "You know like the one in that one picture in The Little Mermaid."

At first, Rapunzel was confused until she finally remembered the illustrations in the book last night and laughed. "That's a sea turtle, Olaf."

"Oh," Olaf chirped with his eyes widened. "Well, they're so cute! I hope we see one!"

"Me too!" Rapunzel beamed. "You know, when I got back home and went to the library in the palace, I read so many books about turtles and learned a lot about them. One thing that I read was that they breathe out of their butts."

"Really?" Olaf asked, laughing. Rapunzel nodded at him. "That's funny! Can we see if we can see one down there?"

"Sure we can," Rapunzel smiled. "We'll look for them and anywhere to land for a bit and then we'll have lunch. Sounds good?"

"Yes!" Olaf exclaimed. "And then can you teach me how to read again?"

"Of course," Rapunzel answered softly.

Anna dumped her mop in the bucket and smiled down at the ground. She glanced over her shoulder and shouted, "I'm done now!"

She was just about to find Kristoff so they could get to a different part of the ship when Peepers crossed his arms and shook his head at her. What was his problem? Wouldn't he be happy that she completed her work?

"Yer not done until Myra, the Captain, or I say so!"

"We cleaned this section twice already!" Anna retorted. She started to walk away from her mop and bucket. "We can work on something else now!"

After heaving a frustrated sigh, Peepers pointed at the bucket. "Mop the deck right now!"

"I—"

Everyone paused when a loud bark and a screech were heard from above. Anna peered up and saw that Betsey was flying towards The Robin Gallery with an owl chasing behind it. Right when Betsey and the owl swooped towards the ship, Peepers loaded his rifle, making Anna's heart thud. Her eyes widened when she watched Peepers aim his weapon towards the owl.

Before she knew it, Anna leaped towards the weapon and aimed the gun towards the ground. "No!"

When the rifle fell out of Peeper's grip, Anna peered up and smiled at the owl who safely flew away before anyone would have another chance to shoot it. She hoped that the bird would be safe from the pirates.

"What the hell was that about?!" Peepers growled. Anna quickly turned to him. "Why did ye do that?"

"I wanted to get it myself," Anna lied. Hopefully, the pirates would buy that as a good excuse. "I am quite skilled with a gun! Lady Caine taught me herself!"

Myra stomped over them with a furious expression. "So ye just think ye can stop everyone else from shooting just because ye such a great shot?!"

Anna crossed her arms and scoffed. She felt like she was starting to improve on her acting. "Well, why not? It's not everything you—ye see—" She felt something pulling her away from the two pirates and she glanced over her shoulder to see that it was Maximus.

After the crew was ordered to resume their jobs, Golden Eye held out his shoulder and allowed Betsey to land, pulling her closer to his face. Anna really wanted to listen to their conversation, but Maximus kept pulling her farther away.

When she and Maximus joined the rest of her group at the wheel, they made sure that the other pirates weren't listening to their conversations and Anna felt that she was going to be berated for the gun.

"Okay," Eugene spoke. He peered over at the pirates and then back at his group. "About that owl—"

"But I couldn't help it!" Anna uttered, crossing her arms. "I couldn't let Peepers shoot it!"

"I think that might be Cassandra's owl," Eugene muttered.

The group stood in silence while Golden Eye could be heard in the background talking to Betsey. Anna had never met Cassandra, but she'd heard Rapunzel talk about her many times and it made Anna wish to meet her too. If it really was Cassandra's owl, then Anna was more than happy that she saved it.

"You mean Owl?" Kristoff asked. Eugene nodded. "Are you sure?"

"I think so."

"Why didn't you try to alert him?" Anna questioned, her eyes darting around, hoping to see Owl again.

"I would've if it hadn't been for the pirates," Eugene replied. "If that is Owl, maybe—"

"Avast ye mateys!" Golden Eye called, his voice echoing over the entire area.

As the entire crew peered in his direction, there was a large royal ship with green flags sailing not too far from them. While the pirates were amazed at the ship, Kristoff and Eugene glanced at each other with worry and Anna's heart started to thud.

"Arr!" Betsey squawked. "Daaphelia nearby!"

"That's the Daaphelia?" Peepers exclaimed. "Blimey! I never thought that we would run into that!"

Myra whistled. "That's a beauty that one."

"We got our new target!" Golden Eye declared, raising his arm up and allowing Betsey to fly to a pole on the ship. "Bring a spring upon'er!"

"Uh, Captain?" Eugene asked, backing away from the wheel. "Don't you think that we should hold off on attacking ships? You're going to be going to Hogan after you drop us off."

"I'm the captain and I said turn the wheel around, Rider!"

Kristoff nodded. "Rider's right, Captain. I think we should leave the ship alone. It's not following us."

Golden Eye ignored him and turned to his crew. "Ahoy, mates! We got a ship ahead!"

As Eugene slowly went towards the wheel, Anna spun around to the Captain. "Wait, we're seriously going to sink that ship?"

"Wait, we're seriously going to sink that ship?" Golden Eye mocked. Anna sighed and rolled her eyes. She was just about to give him a piece of her mind when Sven shook his head at her. "No! How could we take booty if the ship's at the bottom of the sea? We can't get jewels if there's no ship! We're only going to disable it, not sink it! Ye never plundered a ship before?"

"Umm…" Anna scoffed and fisted her hips. "I listened to Lady Caine talking about it." She heard Golden Eye muttered a tart comment and before she could do anything, Kristoff stared at her with a stern expression.

Golden Eye went over to Eugene. "Yer in luck, Rider! These two amateurs are just about to learn more about being a real pirate. Lady Caine will be so impressed, I tell ye! It'll save her a lot of trouble from teaching them how to handle a battle!"

"Captain," Eugene said, glancing over his shoulder. "I think we'd be better off ignoring Daaphelia. If anything happens to—"

Golden Eye scoffed and shook his head. "That's a risk that we're willing to take. Now for the last time, turn the wheel around!" As Eugene sighed and did what he was told, Golden Eye spun to Kristoff and Anna. "Ye two will learn how we deal with other ships. Lady Caine will be impressed."

Anna's mind whirled as the crew rushed to bring the Robin Gallery closer to the ship. This could not be happening. She did not want to be responsible for attacking another ship. There was even a possibility that this battle could get them all killed. She couldn't imagine how Elsa would feel if anything happened to her.

Ella was on deck with Hans, Cassandra, Captain Murphy, and the rest of the crew and still, no sign of Owl. As Ella stared out into the open water, she noticed a large golden ship not too far from the Daaphelia.

"There's a ship!" she called, alerting everyone and causing Hans and Cassandra to come over to her. "There's a ship!"

Hans placed his hands on the railing. "That ship seems familiar. Lars has shown me pictures and told me the histories of pirates. I know that I have seen pictures of that ship before."

Cassandra took out her telescope and peered through it. Shortly thereafter, she put down her telescope and swiftly glanced over her shoulder. "Captain! We have a pirate crew ahead of us!"

When Captain Murphy rushed over to them, Cassandra handed him the telescope and he took a piece himself. "By Jove! That's the Robin Gallery! It's Golden Eye's ship!"

"I knew it!" Hans commented.

The sailors all broke into murmurs in the background, their voices so low that Ella couldn't hear what most of them were saying. She heard ice crackling underneath her feet and peered down to see her feet standing on solid ice.

"Calm down, Ella," Hans soothed, slowly coming towards her. "It's alright. Just take a deep breath."

Ella shut her eyes, exhaling and listening to the ice fade away. After a minute, she opened her eyes to see that the ice was gone. She heard a sailor shout something about Owl and she turned to see that Owl was flying over to Cassandra.

"Owl!" Cassandra exclaimed, bringing her arm out for him to land on. "Did you find anything out about that parrot?" Owl nodded and pointed right at the Robin Gallery. "I knew that parrot was a spy! Good work, Owl!"

"We need to get the ship moving!" a young sailor exclaimed. "Before they get to us!"

"That parrot already reached them," Cassandra began, "if we leave, they'll just keep following us."

Another young sailor stepped forward. "But then we would have to either surrender or get into a battle with them! We can't possibly do either of those!"

"And not all of us are skilled in fighting," An older sailor admitted.

Suddenly, Hans raised his eyebrows and snapped his fingers. "I have an idea!" He spun around to Captain Murphy. "Captain, didn't you say that you have that chest with the riches inside?" Captain Murphy nodded to him. "Great! That could help us."

"What are you suggesting, Your Highness?" Captain Murphy questioned. Cassandra turned to him with an arched eyebrow.

"Pirates plunder ships for treasure," Hans began. "So if we just give the chest to them, they would leave us alone."

An older sailor stepped forward. "Yes, Golden Eye and his crew would leave us alone, Your Highness, but wouldn't we only be making them richer? If we give our riches away to the pirates, they'll be able to do more thievery."

"Sir, we have to get to Reignlen safely. If we wish to avoid surrendering or getting into battle, this is the best way."

Cassandra didn't seem convinced. "Hans, I'm not sure that this is a good idea."

Hans ignored her and turned back to the Captain. "Captain, I believe that we could get the pirates to leave us be without surrendering to them. Frankly, I don't have other options."

Captain Murphy rubbed his chin. "Well, it isn't a bad idea, Hans. I think that it could work."

Ella heard Cassandra sigh and some of the sailors murmured to each other about Hans' pitch.

"What if we do get into battle, Your Highness?" a young sailor asked. "Not all of us know how to use weapons. We won't be able to defend ourselves."

"Or it could be like with Samul," another young sailor spoke, causing Samul to frown at him. "We could aim at the wrong target and get each other hurt or killed."

For a moment, Hans said nothing, causing Ella's mind to whirl. She thought that the sailors had good points, but what were his thoughts on the matter? She was just about to ask him that when Hans strolled over to the door that would lead below deck, gesturing everyone else to follow him.

After the entire crew went below deck, they went into the same room where they'd had their dinner the previous night and the Captain and the first mate stood by the door. Ella's eyes slowly went from the left to the right as all of the sailors stood in a circle around Hans in the middle of the room. She noticed that Cassandra stood by the Prince.

"Cassandra," Hans began, "I need you up on deck." After Cassandra nodded, Hans turned back to the sailors. "How many of you are trained in battle?"

The majority of the sailors raised their hands while the rest of them, including Samul, stood there staring at Hans. Ella wrapped her arms around herself as she watched Owl blinking and peering at the sailors.

"For those of you who are experienced," Hans began, "Head up on deck with Cassandra and the Captain." Hans went over to a door on the far left of the room, gesturing them to follow him, which they obeyed. He pulled the door open, revealing a small room. "The rest of you will stay below deck in this room with Ella."

"Wait a minute!" Ella protested. If she was in the same room with them and her magic got out of control, she could be a danger to the sailors. That was the last thing that she wanted. "Why—"

Before she could finish her sentence, the sailors went inside the room and she had no choice but to obediently follow them inside.

"Whatever you do, don't leave this room unless Cassandra, Captain Murphy, or I said so," Hans instructed. "Do you understand?"

After everyone either nodded or replied with a 'Yes, Sir', Hans strolled over to the door. Ella followed behind him and asked, "Why am I down here, Your Highness?"

Hans swung around towards her, with his hand on the doorknob. "You don't have control of your magic," He answered. "Your anxiety could cause the pirates to attack us." He spun around and went towards the door. "We have to take extra precautions to protect our entire crew."

"You have magic too, you know!" Ella spoke.

The only response she received was the sound of the door closing and footsteps walking away. When she sat down, she gasped as she stared at her bare hands. She kicked at herself for forgetting to put her gloves back on. She knew that they wouldn't let her get on deck, therefore she had no choice but to wrap her arms around each other.

Anna and Kristoff stood next to Eugene at the wheel as they watched the Robin Gallery stopped right in front of the Daaphelia. Anna swung around to the back of the ship where she saw Maximus and Sven standing.

"What are we going to do?" Kristoff whispered and Anna peered back at them. "How are we going to get out of this?"

"We'll think of something," Eugene whispered. Not too long after, he shook his head. "Golden Eye just had to get us in a damn battle. He just couldn't wait until we got to Pazatrille."

Across from them, the crew of the other ship appeared on deck and went over to their places. As footsteps could be heard, Anna knew that there were more coming up. A young, uniformed woman with a bob arrived on deck and when she turned to the railings of the ship, she paused with Owl on her arm. She said something to him and he flew towards one of the poles. As the woman slowly went over towards the railings, Anna and her group were able to get a better look at her.

"It's Cassandra!" Eugene exclaimed. Right when Cassandra reached the railing and saw Eugene, she stood flabbergasted and mouthed his name. "I don't believe it!"

"Wait, that's Cassandra?" Kristoff asked, peering at the woman. "What is she doing on there?"

"I don't know," Eugene answered. "Rapunzel and I haven't seen her since she left Corona."

Before Anna had time to react, Peepers ordered her and Kristoff to get to the other side of the deck and the duo had no choice but to obey. As they walked over to their area, Anna glanced over her shoulder at Eugene and Cassandra. Cassandra shook her head and mouthed, "What are you doing on there? Why are you on a pirate's ship?" Anna could only see the back of Eugene's head, but she assumed that he was mouthing something to her. When Anna and Kristoff reached their spots, she peered over at Maximus and noticed that he was just as surprised to see her.

"How would Rapunzel react to this?" Kristoff questioned. "We're disguised as pirates and we're just about to battle a ship with her best friend on it."

Anna craned closer to Kristoff and placed her hand on his shoulder. "She could help us!" she exclaimed. "She's best friends with Rapunzel, she knows Eugene and Maximus, and I saved Owl! She'll—"

"How? We are on Golden Eye's ship and she is on the other!"

Right when the Captain appeared on deck, he turned down to the stairs and said, "Your highness, the Robin Gallery has docked next to our ship."

Anna's eyes locked on that ship as a stirring of curiosity rose within her. Who was on the other ship and, most of all, who was that royal Prince or Princess? Footsteps made their way to the deck and Hans closed the door behind him.

"It's Hans!" Anna hissed.

"You can't be serious!" Kristoff growled. "Out of all of the—"

The duo peered over towards Eugene who appeared just as shocked as they were. Cassandra noticed his expression and saw that he was peering at Hans. Eugene quickly pulled his hat down, leaving only his mouth visible, and crossed his arms.

"If I were him, I would go below deck!" Anna muttered. "Or at least move to a different area of the ship. He should get away from there."

"He can't," Kristoff muttered. "Remember, he's helping the sailing master. There's no way that Golden Eye would let him leave."

Anna tugged on Kristoff's shoulder and started to drag him towards Eugene. "Come on! We could get him and sneak him—"

"Ye should stay in your spots!" Peepers yelled, pointing at them.

After sighing in frustration, Anna and Kristoff split up and went back to their previous positions, moving away from Hans' sight. Anna remained still, examining the entire deck.

Maximus was on the far right side of the deck while Sven was on the far left and both of them were the safest. However, Anna and Kristoff were in the back of the deck and there was no one standing in front of them. If Hans peered in their direction, he could spot them. Eugene was right at the wheel next to Hans' ship and was the closest to him.

From where she was standing, Anna watched Golden Eye arch an eyebrow and stalk over to the railing next to Eugene and the wheel. The pirates were either puzzled or eager to get into battle.

Peepers craned towards Golden Eye. "Should we make the first attack, Captain?"

Golden Eye gave him and the other pirates a signal not to and peered over at the Daaphelia. "I am Captain Golden Eye. Will ye surrender?"

Hans stood up straight, peering into the eye of Golden Eye. "My name is Prince Hans Westerguard. Like you, my crew and I need to get somewhere. We both know that we can't allow anything to happen. I have no intentions of causing harm to our crew and I am hoping that you would allow us to peacefully pass by."

"Why would I do that?" Golden Eye slurred. "It wouldn't be me style if I just let ye swing by."

"Yes, it wouldn't be your style now, would it? And it wouldn't be my style if I just let my crew attack you."

Golden Eye groaned, shaking his head. "Enough with this chit-chat already and let's get on with this! Will ye surrender or will we plunder your ship?"

Hans tutted, shaking his head. "You know, I have to say, Captain. I am disappointed. I haven't even offered you the deal and already you're being difficult."

Golden Eye cocked an eyebrow. "What deal?"

"We have treasure on the ship," Hans spoke. "I'm a prince, so I have no use for them. Nor would Captain Cassandra or Captain Murphy. Why risk the lives of my crew when we could just hand them over to you?"

"What're ye saying?" Golden Eye slurred. "Tell me what yer suggesting."

"I will give you and your crew all of our treasure," Hans offered. "In return, you will allow our ship to pass by without trouble."

Now he's bluffing. He's probably being two faced again. Anna wished that she could say that out loud but she knew that it would be a foolish idea and she would give her and her group away. It was bad enough that they were already in danger of being seen by Hans. She doesn't want to know what Golden Eye would do if he ever found out about their true identities.

Speak of the devil, Anna noticed that Golden Eye was rubbing his goatee, deep in thought. She couldn't tell what he was thinking. What was he scheming? Was he going to order them to attack Hans' ship? As much as Anna despised Hans, she did not want his crew to be attacked by pirates.

"We'll take the deal," Golden Eye nodded. "First, ye must give us the treasure. We want to make sure that yer not lying."

As Cassandra crossed her arms, she cocked an eyebrow at the Captain. "How do we know that you're not lying, Captain?"

It did seem odd that Golden Eye would accept the deal right away. Maybe Golden Eye just wanted to get the treasure so he wouldn't be delayed to Hogen, though he had seemed eager to get into battle.

"I like me treasure don't I?" Golden Eye slurred. "Besides, it's not often ye get booty handed over to ye."

Cassandra still didn't seem convinced. Anna peered around the ship and noticed that Maximus and Eugene seemed distrustful as well. Right when Anna was about to peer back in Hans' direction, she spotted the door that would lead below deck.

Maybe she could sneak over and leave before Hans noticed her? But what about her group? There was no way that she would leave without them. Perhaps she could sneak over to them and they could sneak down together?

"We'll hand you the treasure and then we'll be off on our way," Hans answered, interrupting Anna's thoughts. As four of the sailors followed Captain Murphy below deck, he turned to Cassandra who still had her arms crossed. "It will work, Cassandra. They're going to let us pass by."

Cassandra took Hans by the arm and they quietly had a conversation with each other. Shortly thereafter, the four sailors returned with a large chest, struggling to carry it in the air and causing Hans and Cassandra to end their conversation. What could be inside that thing? When Golden Eye snapped his fingers, Peepers and Myra went to take the chest.

Once the two pirates dropped the chest on the ground, creating a large thud, Golden Eye wasted no time and threw the chest open. Anna's mouth dropped when she saw that there were jewels, necklaces, gold—and any kind of treasure that she could think of.

Golden Eye nodded his head and peered up at Hans. "Ye know, I'm impressed. That's more booty than we were expecting."

"Great, because it is all yours," Hans smiled. He spun around to Captain Murphy and Cassandra. Captain Murphy seemed to be proud but Cassandra, on the other hand, still seemed to be cautious. "You see, Cassandra? That wasn't so bad now, was it?"

Cassandra shot a glance at Golden Eye before she peered right back at Hans. "I don't know, Hans", she doubted. "It seems way too easy."

"Now that it's all settled," Captain Murphy began as he went over to the wheel, "we should get going."

Hans and Cassandra nodded at Captain Murphy right before Hans turned back to Golden Eye. "We'll be on our way.

A sigh of relief escaped Anna's lips before a small smile formed on her face. That had gone better than she had expected. She was relieved that Hans hadn't notice her and her group and, most of all, the ships didn't get in a battle. She didn't understand why Eugene, Maximus, and Cassandra were wary of the deal. Maybe they were just being cautious to be safe.

Captain Murphy was just about to order the sailors when Golden Eye cleared his throat, causing the crew to spin around to him. After a short moment of silence, the pirate captain cleared his throat again.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Captain," Hans chuckled. "Where are my manners? Thank you for accepting the deal. We appreciate—"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Golden Eye grumbled curtly with a beckoning hand. "Now, which of the sailors will ye and the Captain be sending over here to join me crew?"

Anna's eyes widened and she let out a small gasp. Wait, what did Golden Eye just say? For a moment, she thought that maybe she misunderstood him until she saw the reactions of Daaphelia's crew. Eugene, Maximus, and Cassandra were upset, but Anna knew that they weren't surprised that this would happen.

"I beg your pardon?" Hans asked, baffled.

Golden Eye crossed his arms as Betsey landed on his shoulder. "As part of your deal, ye said that ye would hand over yer treasure and yer sailors so yer crew can pass by peacefully."

Half of the sailors shouted curses at Hans, accusing him of betraying him while the other half stood there in silence, trying to remain calm. Cassandra ordered them to be quiet which they obeyed.

Cassandra shook her head at Hans. "I told you that this wouldn't work!" She peered over at Golden Eye as her hand reached for the butt of her sword. "What makes you think that we would give you more than what you were promised?"

"Ye didn't complete your side of the deal, so why should I do me side of the deal?" Golden Eye slurred.

Hans stepped forward, pointing at Golden Eye. "We held our end of the deal, Captain," he said. "We offered to give you jewels and treasure. We never said anything about the sailors!"

"Well, 'Yer Highness'," Golden Eye mimicked, as he bowed. "Ye said 'why risk the lives of yer crew when you can just hand them over to us'. There ye mentioned that ye would hand over the sailors to us."

"Captain, I'm afraid you're mistaken," Hans addressed. "I was referring to the jewels."

"He knew what you meant," Cassandra seethed, staring straight at Golden Eye with icy eyes. "He's just twisting your words, Hans."

"Whatever ye said," Golden Eye slurred. "Yer sailors will move over to my ship!"

"Never!" Cassandra, Hans, and Captain Murphy hissed, shaking their heads. "None of them are coming!"

Golden Eye spat. "Double crosser!"

"I—I'm a what?" Hans questioned, gesturing at himself. "I gave you my word and you're being greedy."

"Don't play with me!" Golden Eye yelled. "Ye give me what I was promised!"

"We already did!" Cassandra hissed.

While Golden Eye was yelling at Hans and Cassandra, Anna's eyes shifted back over to the door. Now, she was really tempted to sneak below deck with her group. She was just about to step forward when a thought occurred to her. Suppose that she and her group attempt to sneak below deck. If one of the pirates caught them, they would order them in front of everyone including Hans and he would see them.

Golden Eye's face turned red and he turned to Eugene. "Yer foe is a piece of work! I see why ye two are enemies, Rider!"

Anna drew in her breath and she saw that Eugene nearly jumped. To make matters worse, Hans furrowed his eyebrows and finally noticed Eugene.

"Wait?" Hans asked, stepping forward. "What is your name again?"

"Peepers!" Eugene answered, saying the first thing that came out of his mouth. "No, wait, his name is Peepers."

Hans' eyes narrowed and a frown appeared on his face. "I didn't ask for his name," he spoke, curtly. "I asked for yours."

Eugene rubbed the back of his neck and his eyes peered up to the sky. "Was that what I said?" He forced himself into a fake laugh and turned in another direction. "What came over me?"

"I don't find your humor to be entertaining. All I asked you was your name."

Golden Eye's laugh echoed over everyone and he darted over towards Eugene. "Now come on, mate," he slurred. "Yer not really scared of yer old foe are ye, Flynn Rider? Take off yer hat or I'll do it for ye!"

Anna bit her lip as she watched Eugene sigh and remove his hat, revealing himself to Hans. Hans' eyebrows rose and his face grew red as he spotted Eugene right across from him.

"Now, Rider," Golden Eye began. "What do ye think we should do next?"

Eugene shifted his eyes away from Hans and turned to Golden Eye. "Geez, I don't know Captain," he said. "Maybe we should just forget about him and his crew and just sail away. We have more important things to focus on."

"I agree," Cassandra said. Anna had to admit that Cassandra was really good with acting along despite that she had no clue why they were on here in the first place. "It's best that we each go our separate ways."

Golden Eye shook his head at Eugene. "No way, Rider! Yer foe offered to give me the sailors and we ain't leaving until he had his side of the deal!"

Hans furrowed his eyebrows at Eugene. "Captain, why is he on your ship in the first place?"

Anna and Kristoff shot a worried glance over at each other before they peered back at Eugene and Hans. Could this get any worse?

"Flynn Rider got into piracy!" Golden Eye slurred. "Now tell me, 'Your Highness', how does it feel to see yer old foe again? Are ye scared?"

The other pirates broke into laughter and pointed at Hans while Anna just stood there, placing her hands on the railing behind her.

"No, I'm not," Hans said. He took a quick glance at Eugene before he had his eyes back on Golden Eye. "What makes you think that he got into piracy? I never even heard of such a thing. Flynn Rider was so infamous that the entire world would've heard about it."

Golden Eye scoffed. "Why d'ye care so much? Ye'll just have us arrested!"

Hans glared at Eugene before he peered back at the Captain. "And he wouldn't?"

Anna's heart thudded. This could not be happening.

"And why would he do that?" Golden Eye questioned, rolling his eyes. "He's a pirate!"

"Actually," Hans began, "he is no longer a criminal, but rather he is Captain of the guard in Corona and the son of King Edmund of the dark kingdom."

"No, he isn't," Cassandra denied.

Hans swung around to Cassandra. "Yes, he is. I—"

"Hans, you must be thinking of Brock Thunderstruck," Cassandra claimed. "For a while, he posed himself as Flynn Rider and even acted like him. He just made that up so he could try to cover his tracks when he decided to use his own name for the criminal underworld."

"Cassandra, I'm afraid you're mistaken," Hans replied, mirroring her. "I've run into Rider before and I even saw him again at Queen Elsa's coronation last year with his wife, Princess Rapunzel of Corona."

"She didn't marry him," Cassandra denied. "I know the Princess and she married someone else."

"Then you have never met Flynn Rider."

"I'm not an idiot, Hans" Cassandra snapped. "My father was Captain of the Guard and there were wanted posters of Flynn Rider. I know what he looks like."

"Then how do you know that it's not the same guy?"

"How do you know, Hans?" Cassandra asked. "And why are you taking this so personally? Why do you care if—"

"I've met him before," Hans answered. "His real name is Eu—"

Eugene forced a fake chuckle before Hans had a chance to reveal his real name to the pirates. "Wow, now that's a lot of tall tales that you like to tell, Your Highness!" He quickly ended his laugh and abruptly turned to Golden Eye. "Now, Captain, I think that we should just sail away."

"We ain't leaving until that scurvy dog gives us what he promised!" Golden Eye insisted.

"I already gave you my word!" Hans retorted, shifting his eyes away from Eugene to Golden Eye. "We should be leaving now!"

"Not so fast, Yer Highness!" growled Golden Eye. "If yer not going to do yer share of the deal then we will have to do it for ye!" He swiftly turned to his crew. "Mates!" he ordered. "Head over to that ship and take any sailor!"

Before the pirates had a chance to follow their orders, Cassandra swung around to the sailors and ordered, "Defend yourselves!"

"Prepare to engage!" Hans ordered. "Don't let any of them over here!"

In an instant, Anna heard Peepers barking an order to her and Kristoff and did the same thing to two other pirates with the cannon crew below deck. At first, Anna was bewildered why he was ordering them to do that until she recalled that she and Kristoff were assigned to be powder monkeys while they weren't swabbing the decks.

Anna was just about to tell Peepers no when she spotted Kristoff and Eugene exchanging looks at each other and likewise with Maximus and Sven. Her gut told her that her friends were going to do everything they could to prevent Golden Eye's crew from harming the Daaphelia without giving themselves away.

She had no time to react as she watched the two powder monkeys vanish below deck and Kristoff raced into a new direction of the deck. She swung around to see that Eugene and Cassandra had exchanged looks as well. Anna was glad that Cassandra knew that she and her group were going to do whatever they could to stop the attack. She had no idea what she could do. Maybe she could ask Kristoff? With the sounds of the pirates pushing the cannons forward, Anna sighed and scurry over towards Kristoff's direction. While she was scurrying, she noticed that Maximus and Sven were tiptoeing behind the barrels.

After Anna turned, and just when she was about to dart over to Kristoff, one word came out of the mouths of Golden Eye, Captain Murphy, Cassandra, and Hans. "Fire!"

As soon as gunshots fired at each ship, Anna quickly jumped down behind two barrels and there was a ringing in her ears. She peered around watching as the pirates fired their guns at the crew and ducked from the other ship's guns.

There had to be a way for her to stop the pirates from getting on that ship without giving herself away. As much as she despised Hans for all that he had done, she would never want anyone to be hurt or killed. Think, Anna. Think. Think. Anna kept an extra eye on the surroundings as she peered around the deck. All she saw was pirates aiming their guns and pulling the trigger until she saw that Kristoff had just tossed some ammunition. An idea popped into her head.

Anna slowly took a peek and watched Maximus and Sven push the barrels. The barrels rolled down the deck and tripped any pirate that was in their way. Anna's eyes shifted all over the deck until she spotted some ammunition towards the left side of the deck. Anna took a deep breath and scurry over to the ammunition.

When she reached the ammunition, Anna quickly snatched it and carefully went over to the railing. Once she saw that none of the pirates were paying any attention to her, she dumped the ammunition overboard. She heard Golden Eye giving orders to his crew and insulting the crew on the other ship. She turned to the Daaphelia, watching Hans and Cassandra ordering the sailors.

Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming over towards her and she turned to see that Kristoff was coming over towards her. "Anna," he whispered, shortly before they both bent down behind some barrels.

"Kristoff, are you okay?"

A sound like a thunderclap cut them off before Kristoff replied. "I'm fine. We have to keep making sure that they won't sink the Daaphelia!"

"How long can we keep this up?" Anna questioned. Golden Eye shouted an insult at Hans and more gunshots were heard. "How much longer will it be before—"

Kristoff pointed at Maximus and Sven who were both still pushing barrels, causing them to roll down the deck and trip some pirates. "We just have to do what they're doing!" he whispered. "Try to stop the pirates!"

"Alright." Anna nodded. Cassandra shouted an insult at Golden Eye and Hans gave another order to the sailors. "I'll help you get rid of the ammunition."

Kristoff handed Anna a small handgun and her eyes widened. Before she could protest, he opened the chamber and there were no bullets inside.

"Eugene managed to take this and two other ones earlier," Kristoff explained. "He took out the bullets earlier in the morning before Golden Eye told us to clean the deck again. He said that he did this just in case we got in a battle." After he handed her the gun, he peeked over the barrels one last time before saying, "Be careful!"

Kristoff scurried away from the barrels and darted over to some ammunition. Anna clenched the gun in her hand and she pretended to shoot. She aimed at the ship, pretending to shoot, and then duck for cover.

A cannonball was shot at the Daaphelia's quarterdeck and two sailors almost shot two pirates. Eugene stood by the steering wheel, pretending to aim at the sailors when Golden Eye approached him.

"Now's not the best time, Captain!" Eugene yelled, pretending to aim.

"I have something better in mind, Rider," Golden Eye grinned. Eugene raised his eyebrow. "Since we're battling yer foe's ship, it would be no fun for ye not to fight him face to face now, would it?"

Golden Eye placed his hand on Eugene's shoulder and sent him towards a group of pirates. They each grabbed a rigging under their Captain's command.

"Board that ship!" Golden Eye ordered. Without hesitation much to Eugene's dismay, they swung over to the Daaphelia. "Take any sailor that ye can find!"

When Hans noticed them swinging toward the Daaphelia, he ordered the sailors to prepare to fight right away. Once Eugene and the pirates landed on the Daaphelia, the pirates sped off towards sailors while Eugene took off to find his way back on the Robin Gallery. While the sailors each got into fighting with the pirates, Hans spotted Eugene searching for a rigging and marched over to him with a glare.

As soon as Eugene spotted Hans, he pulled out his sword and chuckled nervously as he watched Hans pull out his own. With no hesitation, the two broke into fierce dueling, and their blades hitting each other sounded out the other fencing going on.

"Wow, Your Highness," Eugene remarked. He tried to strike at Hans but he was blocked. "You are incredible with that!"

"Why, thank you." Hans spoke. "I rather hoped that I had improved on my fighting skills so I can finally get justice for what you did to me!"

Hans took a swing towards Eugene's torso, but he dodged to the right. "Now, I don't know what you're talking about. I've never met you before!"

Eugene swung at Hans, but he ducked. "Oh, don't play coy with me, Rider! I know that it's you!"

"Oh, really? Because I don't think I ever met you before today!" Eugene said, hitting his sword against Hans's.

The sword blades grew louder every time the swords met. Hans aimed high and Eugene blocked him. Eugene walked backward, fighting Hans, then it happened again only the other way around. Hans jumped on a barrel and fought Eugene from below. Both of them were engrossed in their dueling, blocking out the entire world around them.

As Anna and Kristoff gaped at the battle between Hans and Eugene, Peepers barked an order to them. They staggered off in different directions and hid behind large boxes, pretending to aim for the Daaphelia.

Cassandra noticed the two and was just about to run over when a pirate blocked her path, pulling out his sword.

Cassandra grinned, placing her palm at the hilt of her sword. "You just pick the wrong person to fight!" Right, when she pulled her sword out, the pirate swung his, but Cassandra's reflexes were quick. "You're no match for me, honey!"

The pirate swung at Cassandra's legs, however, she jumped in time and leaped over him. Once she landed on her feet, she kicked him in the back. The pirate spun around and tried to strike at her again, but she kicked him in the groin before he even had a chance.

Anna's eyes widened while she watched Cassandra and the pirate in their dueling. She really was impressed by Cassandra's fighting skills. The pirate tried to swing at Cassandra again but she dodged him. The pirate was about to strike at her with his sword, however, Cassandra kicked him in the abdomen, sending his weapon flying in the air. She caught the sword in her other hand and she aimed both of the swords at the pirate who was struggling to get up.

As the swords of Eugene and Hans repeatedly connected, they would move around the ship at a rapid speed and their fight was easily the most intense of them all. When Eugene's sword hit the other, Hans moved his sword in a windmill motion and drew his weapon to the right, knocking Eugene's weapon out of his hand.

Hans pointed his sword at Eugene with a smirk. "Ah, I see that the tables have turned, Rider. I have been waiting for this moment for nine years."

As Hans gloated about Eugene's supposed defeat, Cassandra peered at them and then back at the pirate. She bent down to him, picked him up, and threw him over at Hans. The pirate flew into Hans, sending him to the ground and causing his weapon to fall out of his grip. Eugene caught the sword and aimed it at Hans.

"Aha! Word of advice, Your Highness," Eugene chuckled, grabbing on to a rigging. "Right before you defeat someone, get it over with instead of talking about it."

Eugene put the sword in his belt and swung back over to the Robin Gallery. Anna and Kristoff cheered at him. As Hans rose from the ground, he shot Eugene an intense glare. He reached for his glove but quickly stopped himself. When Eugene landed back on the Robin Gallery, he and Cassandra spotted each other. He gave her a nod of gratitude and she nodded back at him.

When two pirates darted towards Hans, Cassandra's eyes widened and rushed over to them. "Hans!" she shouted. "Here!"

She threw one of her two swords and Hans caught it right away just in time for him to block an attack from one of the pirates. The other pirate was just about to strike him until Cassandra jumped in front of him and began fighting him.

Rapunzel, Olaf, and Pascal were setting up lunch on the ground. Rapunzel had laid out the blanket in the middle where the basket stood. A loud sound was heard nearby and Olaf asked Rapunzel if he could see what it was. After she nodded and warned him to be careful, Olaf went over towards the edge of the basket and a large smile appeared on his face.

"Fireworks!" he cheered.

Rapunzel peered up as she placed a jar of peanut butter on the ground. "What?" she laughed, letting her hand out for Pascal to crawl onto. "Fireworks? Where do you see any fireworks, Olaf?"

"There are ships blowing fireworks! Come look!"

After Rapunzel placed Pascal on her shoulder, she stood up and went over to Olaf. Rapunzel placed her hands on the edge and peered down to see that there were two ships firing at each other.

"Olaf, they're not fireworks," she said, her smile fading away. "They're firing gunshots at each other."

Olaf wiped off his smile as well and peered down at the two ships again. "Why are they firing those?"

"They're in a battle with each other," Rapunzel explained. Pascal's eyes widened when he peered down at the ships. The sounds of gunshots are echoed up to them.

Olaf tilted his head and peered back at Rapunzel. "Why would they do that?"

"They could do it for any reason, Olaf," Rapunzel answered. She jumped when she heard a cannonball go off from below. "But I think they usually do it for treasure. I wish that they wouldn't fight each other. I don't like the idea of anyone hurting each other."

"I don't like it either," Olaf said. "It's not very nice."

As she sat her hands on the basket, Rapunzel peered down at the ship battle on the ocean far underneath them. She wished that she could see what ships they were, but they were too far below.

When Anna pretended to shoot at the Daaphelia, her eyes widened when she saw that Myra was stomping over to her. She quickly turned away from her and continue to pretend to shoot at the ship.

Myra crossed her arms. "What're ye doing?"

Anna spun to her while a cannonball from Daaphelia crashed into the Robin Gallery's figurehead and a sailor's curse to the pirates was heard. "What does it look like I'm doing? I'm aiming at the Daaphelia!"

Myra raised her eyebrows. "Really? It doesn't look like any bullets are coming out!" She yanked the gun from Anna and opened the chamber. "There's nothing in there!"

"Arrrgh!" Anna slurred, pointing at the gun. "I knew that there was something wrong with that!"

After Myra put some bullets in the gun, she pointed it in the air and pulled the trigger to test the bullets.

As soon as Rapunzel heard that gunshot, she pulled Olaf and Pascal away from the basket and they fell on the ground. Everything felt like slow motion as she watched the bullet fly right past their basket. The fact that the bullet could reach them made Rapunzel's body to shiver. She did not want to think about that..

Why had someone shot at their balloon? Did they think that they were spying on them? Was it a mistake? If a bullet was aimed at their balloon, what was to say there wouldn't be another?

"What are we going to do?" Olaf fretted.

Thoughts clouded Rapunzel's mind as she rose from the ground. There was no steering wheel, so they would have to rely on the wind to guide them. The best thing to do was to let the balloon float away from the area.

Pascal chattered to her as thunderclap sounds reverberated. "Guys," Rapunzel spoke, whirling to them. "I'm afraid just as much as you are, but there's not much that we can do. We just have to let the balloon guide us away."

"How long do you think it'll be till we're away from them?" Olaf inquired. After a gunshot from below was heard, Olaf jumped and yelped before shaking.

"It won't be long!" Rapunzel peered down at the two ships again. "I don't think that—"

She gasped when she saw that something small was flying towards them. At first, she couldn't tell what it was until it was coming closer and she could make it out to be a grenade. She, Olaf, and Pascal all screamed at once. Rapunzel quickly bent down and searched for the frying fan.

"We're gonna die!" Olaf screamed, running in circles. "We're gonna die!"

"Olaf, that is not helping!" Rapunzel fretted, her voice shaking.

Finally, she picked up the blanket where the frying pan was lying underneath and she snatched it. She raced over to the basket and pulled her arms back with her frying pan clenched in her hands. Right when the grenade was just about to reach them, Rapunzel swung her arms and the frying pan sent the grenade flying far away from them.

The grenade then transformed into a bright puff of smoke with a popping sound that came with it. Rapunzel held her frying pan tighter, as she stood there petrified with her heart beating so fast that she felt like she was going to have a heart attack.

Ella, Samul, and the other sailors could hear the battle going on up above. Ella was trying everything that she could to keep her powers from getting out of control. She wrapped her arms around each other and peered at the wall, biting her lip. She wished that there was something more that she could do, yet she couldn't think of anything.

The sailors in the room all had mixed feelings about everything that was going on. Some were frightened, some were concerned for their crew's safety, some wanted to know what would happen if Hans' plan didn't work, and a few were impatient.

A boom from above caused them all to peer up at the ceiling, followed by a series of sword blades hitting each other. Ella's heart thudded and her eyes shifted all over the room. "What do we do?"

"We'll do what Hans told us," a young sailor declared. "We'll stay down here unless he, Captain Murphy, or Cassandra comes down."

Samul spun around to him with his arms crossed. "That Prince tried to murder Queen Elsa and you're suggesting that we listen to him?"

"I despised him as much as you do, Samul!" the young sailor huffed. "But we don't have a choice! If he said that we have to stay here, then we have to stay here!"

"You're forgetting that he was the one with the plan for the pirates to let us pass by peacefully," Samul said. He gestured up to the ceiling. "Now, look what happened!"

The young sailor rolled his eyes and shook his head. "Everyone, we should just remain calm! As long as we're down here, we're safe!"

Samul shook his head and went closer to the door. As soon as Samul touched the doorknob, Ella rose and asked, "What are you doing?"

The other sailors in the room turned to Samul, who was unmoved. "If you all want to be sitting ducks then that's your business." He twisted the knob and pulled the door open. "I'm going up on deck to help!"

Once Samul darted through the doorway, the other sailors shouted for him to return to no avail. Without hesitation, Ella spirited out of the room with the sailors shouting for her to stay. She hoped that she would be able to stop Samul.

When Ella went into a new room, she saw Samul darting towards the stairs. Right before he reached the stairs to the deck, Samul snatched the harpoon gun.

"Samul, no!" Ella yelled.

Samul ignored her and raced up the stairs with Ella racing behind. Instantaneously, Samuel pulled the door open and raced further on the deck with the harpoon gun in his hands. Ella raced up the stairs and just when she reached the doorway, she gasped.

The entire crew was either firing at the Robin Gallery or dueling with the pirates that invaded the deck. A young sailor rose from behind a barrel and tried to run to the other side of the deck when a pirate shot a bullet and missed him. The young sailor turned and jumped back behind the barrel.

Cassandra and Hans were in the middle of the deck, fighting with two pirates. One pirate snuck up behind them and raised his sword to strick them when Owl flew in his face and attacked him. Cassandra punched the pirate and he tumbled overboard. After Hans disarmed the pirate that he was fighting, Owl flew over to the pirate and attacked him in the face. That pirate then fell overboard as well.

"Cassandra, I have to admit that Owl's pretty handy," Hans spoke.

Her heart stung when she heard ice crackling underneath her and she slowly peered down to see ice forming underneath her feet. She shook her head. This couldn't be happening, not now. When she peered back up to see Samul raced further on the deck with the harpoon gun in his hands, her eyes widened as the temperature grew colder and she felt ice trailing from her fingertips.

Ella knew that she must stop Samul and bring him back down but what if she accidentally harms him with her magic. There was no way that she could grab him without freezing him.

"What's he doing here?" Cassandra seethed. "And I told him not to grab that gun again!"

Two pirates aimed at Samul, but he quickly ducked behind a barrel. He slowly rose with the harpoon gun and pointed it at the Robin Gallery. Without warning, one of the pirates snuck up behind him and pinned him to the ground.

As Samul fell to the ground, he released the hatch and the harpoon zoomed in the air. Everyone fell to the ground and covered themselves as the harpoon flew over them and further into the sky away from both of the ships.

As soon as she heard ice travel up the door, Ella had enough and ran back down the stairs, cursing at herself for her cowardice and inability to control herself. Hopefully Cassandra, Hans, or someone would be able to do something about him since she couldn't without being a worse threat.

As the hot air balloon floated further into the sky and away from the battle, all Rapunzel could hear herself, Olaf, and Pascal breathing. The sounds of the cannons and gunshots were almost starting to become distant.

After a long moment of stillness, Olaf slowly wobbled over to her and asked, "Are we safe now, Rapunzel?"

"I think so, for now," Rapunzel confirmed, slowly taking small steps towards him. She wrapped the frying pans in her arms, ran her fingers through her hair, and heaved a sigh of exhaustion. "I'm glad that's over. I was beginning to think that..."

While Rapunzel and Olaf were talking, Pascal turned to the sky. He squinted his eyes and let out a large gasp once he saw what it was. He began squeaking over to Rapunzel and Olaf.

"Is Pascal okay?" Olaf questioned.

Rapunzel approached him and peered down at him. "What is it, Pascal? Is something wrong?"

Pascal pointed ahead of them. Rapunzel slowly peered up and gasped when she spotted a harpoon flying towards the hot air balloon. Everything felt like slow motion when Rapunzel grabbed Pascal and raced over to Olaf, pulling him to the ground with her. She held Olaf and Pascal close to her while she glanced up, waiting for the harpoon to fly into the basket.

Instead, the harpoon was flying higher than the basket. Rapunzel held her breath and felt her heart sting as she watched the harpoon slice through the balloon. As soon as the harpoon ripped out of the second hole and further in the sky away from it, screams escaped the lips of Rapunzel, Olaf, and Pascal as the hot air balloon began to plummet towards the ocean.

Tears streamed from Rapunzel's eyes and she almost allowed a sob to come out. She held her friends closer, knowing that this was the last time that she was ever going to see them. She wished that she had a chance to say goodbye to Eugene, her family, and Corona.

When the basket landed in the water, large splashes were heard and some water made its way inside, soaking Rapunzel's bare feet. For a long minute, she listened to waves hitting each other and she felt the basket going up and down. Rapunzel finally dared to open her eyes to where ocean waves surrounded the floating basket.

After Ella told the sailors about Samul, she stayed in her chair watching one sailor pace while the others remained in their seats. She kept taking deep breaths and hoped that her magic wouldn't get out of control.

"He should've just stayed down here!" a sailor grumbled, his eyes peering at the ceiling.

The sailor who was pacing stopped and turned to him. "That's his choice! If he wants to be foolish and run up on deck, that's his business!" Ella's eyes widened when she thought she heard something from above. "He only thinks that—"

Ella quickly rose from her seat and shushed him. "Listen."

All of a sudden, they heard heavy footsteps pound down the stairs. Ella held her breath and deep down, she knew that it was not Hans, Cassandra, and Captain Murphy. She could tell that the sailors knew it as well. Her eyes peered around the room. The footsteps were getting closer to them, therefore they had no time to shut their door and find something to block it. There were a few hiding places but not all of the sailors would be able to fit.

Her eyes shifted to a large shelf where a small yellow vase lay. As the footsteps stomped at the end of the stairs, Ella snatched the vase and held it over her shoulder. Likewise, the sailors quickly grabbed anything that they could.

Just then, a group of pirates raced over towards the doorway and entered the room. As soon as they charged Ella and the sailors, Ella threw the vase at them. However, they ducked and the vast smashed into the wall, shattering into a million pieces.

"You missed, girlie!" a pirate laughed.

Ella quickly grabbed a book from the bookshelf and threw it at them, hitting one of them in the process. She found another book and again threw it; unfortunately, they ducked. Right when Ella reached for another book, the pirates split up and pushed farther into the room, charging them. Some went past her and dashed towards the sailors who tried to fight them off with the items that they grabbed.

A new pair of footsteps approached the doorway and Cassandra charged into the room. She drew her sword and charged towards a pirate. Another one came towards her and she threw a bean at them. When she whistled, Owl swooped towards the pirate and clawed at his face.

"Thank goodness you came!" Ella yelled, grabbing a book and throwing it at the pirates.

"Owl and I will fight them off!" Cassandra yelled. "Just be careful!"

"Where's Hans?"

"He'll catch up! He tried to come down with me but another pirate started fighting him!"

The entire room was a madhouse. Ella was throwing books at the pirates and the sailors were trying to defend themselves. Owl kept clawing at the pirates, and Cassandra was fighting two pirates at the same time. Their chances of victory were already starting to decrease since the sailors weren't doing so well in fighting against the pirates, and too many pirates were fighting against Cassandra and Owl.

Three pirates came towards Ella and she felt her back against the wall. She grabbed the last book that she could find and threw it at them. After they ducked, they pointed their guns towards her.

"Please," Ella begged, covering her face with her eyes shut.

Just as the pirates pulled their triggers, Ella was expecting to meet her doom, but instead, she heard the pirates and the sailors gasp. When she opened her eyes and put her arms down, she saw that an ice shard had blocked their bullets. She peered down at her hands and back at the pirates.

Ella motioned her arms and ice shards shot out of the ground towards the three pirates and they raced out of the room, screaming. Ella swung around towards the other pirates, who were either fighting the sailors or Cassandra and Owl and she raised her arms high with ice trailing off her fingertips. Ice shards popped out of the ground and towards the pirates. Ice then traveled up the walls and the room grew cold with snowflakes falling.

The pirates charged towards Ella, but she raised her arm and ice shot right at them, sending them to the ground. When they tried to get up, she raised her other arm and an ice shard flew towards them.

The pirates all had enough and dashed out of the room. "Get out of here!" they yelled, racing towards the stairs.

Cassandra spun around to Ella with a smile. "Great shot, kid!"

Anna was just about to race over to Kristoff when she saw a group of screaming pirates race up on deck on the Daaphelia, alerting the other pirates on board.

"Get out of here!" they yelled. "Now!"

Without question, the pirates stopped what they were doing and raced over towards the Robin Gallery. Right when they swung over and landed on deck, Golden Eye stomped over to them.

Golden Eye rose his eyebrows and his face was red. "What are ye doing?" he hollered. "Get back on that ship!"

Hans and Captain Murphy quickly ordered their crew to sail away, which the sailors obeyed and the ship sailed away from the area.

Once the gunners and the cannon crew quit firing their weapons and the cannons, Anna seized the opportunity to get to her friends. They met up with each other at the back of the deck.

Golden Eye stomped over to the pirates. "What happened? Why did ye leave that ship?!"

"Captain!" Rolley cried. "There was a witch!"

"What?!" Golden Eye growled.

While Golden Eye listened to the pirates about their failure on the Daaphelia, Anna and her group raced below deck. When they went down the steps, Anna didn't even bother to glance behind and all that mattered was to keep up with her group.

After they rushed into the kitchen and made sure that no one was near, Anna shut the door. "I can't believe it!" Anna spoke. She was overwhelmed by the events that had just transpired mere moments ago. "We got into battle!"

Kristoff heaved a sigh of relief. "We should be lucky that we're safe and the other ship survived! I wonder what they did to scare off the pirates?"

"Cassandra must've fought them," Eugene answered. "I saw her go down below deck!"

"I thought that Rapunzel said that Cassandra lost her moonstone powers a long time ago?" Kristoff asked, doing his voice for Sven.

"She did but she's one tough cookie," Eugene suggested. "She's a great fighter so they probably got scared of her and left."

"I hope we see her again soon," Anna said. "We should thank her for getting the pirates off her ship. If it hadn't been for her, who knows what could've happened. I don't want to think what kind of trouble we would've been in."

Eugene crossed his arms with a grim expression. "We're already in trouble, don't you remember? Hans gave me away!"

Anna stood there and allowed her mind to swirl. Would Golden Eye and his crew be suspicious of them? Would Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd put two and two together since they had found Eugene's two pendants earlier? Would Myra and Peepers suspect something too?

Kristoff shook his head. "I can't believe that out of all of the people in the world, it just had to be Hans on that ship!"

"Okay, guys." Anna stepped forward. "Let's just find a lifeboat and get out of here. We could sneak out at dawn."

Eugene shook his head. "We can't leave! We have to stay on here until they drop us off."

"Eugene, if we stay, they may get suspicious!" Anna fumed.

"They'll get even more suspicious if we leave!" Eugene fumed.

"Wouldn't they be suspicious already?" Kristoff asked, doing his voice for Sven. Maximus neighed and nodded with them.

"I agree with you, Sven and Maximus," Kristoff said. "Anna, Eugene, I get what both of you are saying but I think that what happened with Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd last night with your pendants and Myra finding out that your gun didn't have bullets after you lied to Peepers about being skilled in using a gun would be red flags." Anna asked him how he knew about Myra. "I saw it happen right after I tossed over some ammunition. Either way, they'll know that something's up. They may already be asking questions."

Anna couldn't agree more. She was just about to speak when Eugene did first.

"Look, we only have a week left on here," Eugene said. "Before you know it they'll drop us off at Pazatrille."

Kristoff sighed. "Let's just hope they don't find us out before then."

When Ella, Cassandra, and the sailors left the small room and entered the dining room, they heard new footsteps coming down the stairs. Hans, Captain Murphy, and the other sailors reached the last step and went forward into the room.

"I have good news," Hans announced. "We have won the battle against Golden Eye and his crew and none of us have been wounded nor killed!"

Everyone in the room clapped and cheered at the good news. Ella stood there with a smile. It really was a miracle that no one was injured or lost their life.

"And it's all thanks to her!" a young sailor cheered.

Captain Murphy turned to Cassandra and placed his hand on her shoulder with a smile. "Thank you, Cassandra. We are so grateful for all you've done."

Cassandra smiled at him. "I'm not the one you should be thanking." The sailors cleared the way as she made her way to Ella and gestured to her. "She's the one who saved us. If she hadn't fought against the pirates, most of us would be dead and some of you would be on Golden Eye's ship this very minute."

"Ella saved us!" a sailor cheered.

The sailors all crowded Ella, clapping and cheering for her while she just peered around them. They seemed to be so pleased that she had saved their lives with her magic. She was surprised that they were praising her for using her magic. She'd thought that they would be angry because she had yet to control her powers and she could've harmed or killed someone.

"Good thing that you chose to come with us, Ella," Cassandra smiled.

Captain Murphy approached Ella and peered down at her. "You should be proud of yourself, my dear. Our crew has survived and won all because of you. Thank you very much."

Before Ella could react, the sailors brought her on their shoulders and cheered for her except for one person.

Hans was in the back of the room, all alone in a corner, and was peering at her in silence. He didn't look angry or upset. For the longest time, their eyes stared at each other before Hans gave her a weak smile and his eyes dimmed. He went towards the door and left the room.

The basket floated on the waves as they slowly bobbed up and down. The balloon and the ropes that were in the water still hung on to the basket. Rapunzel placed Pascal on her shoulder and slowly rose from the ground. She warned Olaf not to lean over the edge and she wobbled as she gingerly went to the middle of the basket. The waves splashing and gurgling grew louder and surrounded the floating basket.

"We're alive!" Olaf cheered, clapping his hands before his smile faded away. "Are we?"

Rapunzel laid her hand on the basket and peered out into the sea. Although they had lost their hot air balloon, all that mattered to her was that she and her friends had survived. Moreover, they were fortunate that they had landed in the water. She did not want to think about what would've happened if they'd been over land when they fell, for she knew that it would be unpleasant.

"Yes, we're alive, Olaf!" Rapunzel smiled. She hugged him and Pascal. "Are you alright?"

Olaf and Pascal nodded to her. "What about you?"

"I'm okay. I'm happy that we're alive!"

Olaf peered at the balloon and ropes in the water. "How are we going to fix our balloon?"

Rapunzel bent down and searched for a sewing kit. She sighed when she found nothing and rose. "We can't fix it."

Olaf glanced over his shoulder at her. "Do you think that we could get one of those ships to help us?"

Rapunzel's eyes dimmed and her head hung at the ground. She wished that they would get help from the ships but she knew that they wouldn't for three reasons. One: both ships were probably too far from them by now. Two: how would they know which ship would be the most trustworthy? And three: she was wanted by the law.

"I wish that we could," Rapunzel said. Pascal chattered to her. "I don't know, Pascal."

"So now what?" Olaf questioned.

Rapunzel took another obversion around the area. For now, the basket was strong enough to float in but water still could get in and cause it to sink. Plus, they were likely to run into any dangers in the sea.

"We'll use this as a boat," Rapunzel declared. "Once we find land, we will go there and then walk on foot." Pascal chattered again to her. "I'm sorry, Pascal but we don't have a choice."

"How long do you think we'll be on here?" Olaf asked.

"I don't know," Rapunzel admitted. "I just hope that we'll find a safe place to get off."

Rapunzel slowly went over towards the rope and the balloon, carefully watching her step so no water could get in. She slowly untied the ropes and released them into the water. She, Olaf, and Pascal watched as the ropes and the damaged balloon floated further into the sea before getting washed away.
