Being on the Robin Gallery for almost a week already agitated Anna and her friends and they couldn't be more eager for Golden Eye to drop them off in Pazatrille. Since the battle with the Daaphelia, they were uneasy with the idea that the pirates could find them out at any time.

After their conversation in the kitchen, Anna and her group hadn't been able to catch each other again, in an effort to avoid drawing more suspicion to them. Anna had been mostly around either Maximus and Sven while she'd only been around Kristoff a few times and was Eugene once.

At this moment, Anna was in the kitchen with Maximus. Golden Eye had ordered her to make dinner for everyone and didn't bother to tell her what to make. All she knew what to make was hazelnut soup, therefore she decided to serve everyone that meal. Fortunately, she remembered the ingredients and how to make it from when Rapunzel showed her and Elsa when she first arrived in Arendelle.

Anna placed a large pot with boiling water on the table and scratched her head playfully. "Now, what do I do next? Ah, I know!"

She grabbed some hazelnuts and dumped them in the pot. Maximus handed her some parsnips and Anna smiled and thanked him before she grabbed a spoon and started stirring it. The steam was going in her face and she did everything she could to avoid knocking the pot over. It had happened to her before in Olina's kitchen back in Arendelle.

"Well, what do you think, Max?" Anna asked, peering over at him with a smile. "Do we have ourselves a soup?" Maximus smiled and neighed back at her. "Perfect!"

Now, this was a good soup and she couldn't wait to feel the creamy taste on her taste buds. Much better than that no good, gross artsoppa. There was no way that people wouldn't enjoy this meal.

"This is so much fun!" Anna stirred the large spoon around. "Look out, Max, Chef Anna is at your service!" She let out a small gasp. "Hey, maybe I could become a chef! I don't see why not! I could renounce my title and then open up my own restaurant! Oh, maybe even my own bakery! I make snowman cookies!" Her face fell once she realized that she doesn't have much experience in cooking. She shrugged and said, "Eh, probably not."

Maximus lifted his ear and went over towards the door and leaned his ear against it. Anna kept her eyes on him while she continued to stir the soup.

"Max? Did you hear something?"

She froze and waited for Maximus to answer her. Shortly after, Maximus backed away from the door and went over to her as the voices of Kristoff and Sven rose in the background.

When the door opened, Anna and Maximus peered over and watched Kristoff and Sven walking into the room.

"Hey, guys!" Anna chirped, stirring the soup. "Look what I'm making! Hazelnut soup! Isn't that nice?"

Her smile faded when she noticed that Kristoff and Sven had serious expressions on their faces. She and Maximus locked eyes before turning back to them.

Kristoff took a glance outside the door before peering back at Anna. "Did Eugene talk to you yet?"

"I haven't talked to him since this morning. Why?"

For a moment, Kristoff was still, causing Anna and Maximus to stare at him in concern. Sven furrowed his eyebrows at him.

"You might as well tell her," Kristoff said, doing his voice for Sven. "She's probably going to hear about it anyway."

Kristoff nodded. "Okay, okay. I'll tell her Sven!"

Anna felt the spoon fall into the large pot. "Tell me what?"

Kristoff ran his fingers through his hair, sighing. "I don't know how to tell you this." He sighed before he put his hand down. "Okay, last night, Sven and I heard someone looking through our things. This morning, I told Eugene this and he said that he's heard someone sneaking around our room ever since the battle."

For a long minute, Anna froze and forgot where she was. This was not good. They were only a day away from arriving in Pazatrille and their trip was showing pessimism. Would they even make it off this ship before someone found them out? "What? Are you sure?" Kristoff and Sven nodded. "Do you know who it was?"

Kristoff shook his head. "Eugene doesn't know either. All he knows was that it was one of the pirates in our room."

Anna ignored the steam that traveled from the bowl and went closer to Kristoff. "You don't think they'll find us out, do you?"

"Honesty, I don't know," Kristoff admitted, glancing over his shoulder at the door and then back at her. "But it doesn't look good. It only takes one of them to have their doubts. Heck, Golden Eye might even be suspecting something."

"Golden Eye too?! What makes you think that?"

"Last night, right before we turned in, Eugene told me that he was asking him about what Hans said. He said that he was just bluffing. If Cassandra hadn't covered for him, he might've found out already."

"Well done, Hans!" Anna laughed sarcastically. "What are we going to do now?"

"We just have to keep doing what we're doing," Kristoff said. "We only have one day left and then we'll be in Pazatrille."

For a moment, they were still, waiting to see if someone was coming down the stairs. After what felt like forever, Anna went back to her conversation with Kristoff.

"I'll be happy when we get to Pazatrille soon," she commented. "I can't take being on this ship anymore. Peepers really gets on my nerves."

"Well, Peepers is a jerk," Kristoff said, rolling his eyes. Anna nodded along while Sven and Maximus began gesturing wildly. "So, I'm not surprised."

"Congratulations, Jake!" Peepers sneered, causing both Anna and Kristoff to jump. They spun around to see him standing right there. He must've just come in without warning. "Ye just made yer job even harder! Ye can spend the night guarding the deck instead of getting a good night's rest! Now all hands on deck!"

After sighing in frustration, Kristoff sighed and left the kitchen with Sven, and Anna was getting ready to leave with Maximus. Peepers was just about to leave when he sniffed and grimaced. He furrowed his eyebrows and turned over to Anna.

"What are ye making?" he asked gruffly.

Anna stood there with no answer. What was his problem? Peepers then gestured for her to answer.

"Food," Anna retorted.

"What food're ye making then?"

Peepers gestured to Anna to answer again.

"Hazelnut soup," snapped Anna.

Peepers glared at her right before he came towards the door. "Ye and I will have a serious talk later."

Anna huffed and crossed her arms. "About what?"

Peepers gave her a quick glare. "Ye know," he slurred right before he left the kitchen. "All hands on deck! Captain's orders!"

Anna and Maximus made sure that the soup was done boiling after they set out the fire. After they put the soup in a large bowl, waiting to be served, Anna and Maximus left the kitchen.

As soon as Anna and Maximus appeared on deck, she saw that all of the pirates were scattered about. They either had paused working or just appeared on deck. She peered around for any sign of her other friends and right when she saw that Kristoff, Sven, and Eugene were just by the wheel, she and Maximus went over to them.

"There you are," she said. "Now, Kristoff did you t—"

Kristoff abruptly shushed her and shook his head before he pointed forward. Anna spun around and saw what the center of attention was. Golden Eye was in the middle of the deck with Betsey on his arm. Anna noticed that her friends were paying extra attention to the Captain.

Golden Eye made sure that everyone was paying attention to him before he dismissed Betsey and she flew in a different direction. Anna wanted to see where she was going but Eugene gestured for her to listen to Golden Eye.

"Now, mates," he slurred. "I know that our next stop was to plunder Hogan, but there's been a change of plan. Betsey told me that Hogan has their guards ready to arrest us when we arrive so we won't be going there."

You have got to be kidding me! That was what Anna would've said out loud if she could. Was this going to affect them going to Pazatrille? Either they would turn the wheel around and sail away from Pazatrille or Golden Eye might even decide that his crew would plunder that country instead. What would they do now?

"Blimey!" Rolley slurred. "How they'd find out?"

While the crewmates were talking in the background, Anna was in her own little world. Only she and Kristoff had heard about them planning to go to Hogan. If they hadn't, Eugene wouldn't have come up with his ruse about the pirates' costumes when they were with Wadsworth at the Oak theatre. Anna almost let out a gasp but stopped herself before any of the pirates would hear her. Wadsworth! He must've reported the pirates to the guards and they somehow alerted Hogan. He didn't think that Golden Eye would have a parrot as a spy.

Myra crossed her arms. "So, what's the plan now, Captain?"

Golden Eye snatched a bottle of rum and took a large gulp before he turned back to his crew. "The good news is that we'll be able to plunder more ships and towns since that double-crossing Prince handed us the booty. Zoomberg is not too far from 'ere. We'll plunder that town first then we'll get to Pazatrille."

Anna wished that she could growl and claw out Golden Eye's only eye. They needed to get to Pazatrille so they could get the map from Puck and Calkins and going to Zoomberg first would kill their chances. She wasn't sure if Lady Caine and her followers would still be there after their heist, but the map would be gone for sure.

Eugene stepped forward. "Uh, Captain? Lady Caine is expecting us in Pazatrille. We'll miss her if we go to Zoomberg."

Golden Eye scoffed. "Did ye not say that she stole the Grand Spector? I've seen that ship plenty of times before. It's easy to spot with its silver mast. Besides, Betsey went to that ship and listened in." Anna bit her lip. Was Betsey just about to expose them in front of the whole pirate crew? "She said that Lady Caine was planning to go to Vardaros after Pazatrille. I want to finally meet Lady Caine and her mates so we'll just plunder Zoomberg, Pazatrille, and then Vardaros. Ye'll meet up with her again in no time."

"In no time?" Kristoff exclaimed. "It'll be a long while!"

"Tough luck, pretty boy!" Golden Eye mocked. "Ye should be thanking me. Ye and Adrie need to act more like pirates, not amateurs! It'll save Lady Caine the trouble!"

"Why can't you—ye just drop us off in Pazatrille and then go to Zoomberg?" Anna asked. "Jake and I need more experience!" Myra and Peepers whispered something to each other and shot a doubtful expression at her, causing Maximus and Sven to shake their heads so she stood up straight. "Lady Caine promised me that she was going to—"

"Peepers and Myra can teach ye till then," Golden Eye slurred. "Rider, these two are the worst pirates Davy Jones ever cursed me with! How they..." Anna crossed her arms, muttering a tart comment. She was about to talk back at him until Kristoff shook his head. It still didn't stop her from sighing in frustration. "...at all!"

"They're still learning, Captain," Eugene assured. "You don't become an experienced pirate all in one night, you need to work at it."

Golden Eye raised an eyebrow. "Let me ask ye something, Rider? When ye switched from thievery to piracy, how long did it take ye?"

Eugene scoffed. "It didn't take me long but keep in mind that I've been an outlaw since I was a kid. Jake and Adrie didn't get into the criminal underworld until they were in their twenties." Anna nodded until she paused with a perplexed expression. Wait, what? Did she really look older than her age? Or did Eugene just come up with that for her since she was nineteen years old? "I ran into Jake at Equis and when the two of us were in Rioton, Pocket came to us with Adrie. He told us that she's his niece and expressed her interest in joining Lady Caine's crew. He thought that she had real potential as a pirate and just needed more training. That was when I decided to take her and Jake under my wing. It wasn't easy..."

Anna suddenly recalled that she and Kristoff told Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd that they met Lady Caine at Baron Rupert and Baroness Evelyn's masquerade party in Belliville. Anna held her breath as she and Kristoff locked eyes for a brief moment before turning back to the pirates before any of them would notice. However, Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck took a quick gaze at them with an arched eyebrow, causing Anna to feel a chill creep down her spine. They know that they lied to them. How much longer would it be before Golden Eye would hear of this too? Anna wished that she and Kristoff told Eugene or Eugene told them about their backstories. She worriedly took a glance at Kristoff and from his facial expressions, he was thinking the same thing.

"As you can see, Captain," Eugene continued. "Anyone can become a skilled pirate."

"Then can ye explain Adrie's cooking?" Peepers slurred. "Ye know what she was making? 'Soup'!" Anna frowned as the pirates groaned. "What pirate eats soup?!"

"She's an amateur," Golden Eye slurred. "What'd ye expect?"

"She's still learning how to cook," Kristoff clarified. "The only recipe that she knows issoup."

Myra stepped forward towards Kristoff and Anna with an arched eyebrow. Maximus and Sven glanced at each other before they turned back to the scene. "Really? I never knew a pirate that made nothing but soup."

"Like Jake said," Eugene laughed, waving his arms around. "She's still learning. I've never cooked in my life and here I am!"

By the looks of Maximus and Sven, they both seem to think something like: "Really? Could you make us look any worse?" She peered back at Myra and Peepers, who still had doubtful expressions. In the corner of the deck, Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck had just whispered to each other and peered back at them.

"Then what are we going to eat?" Trops whined.

"We're not having soup, are we?" Rolley complained.

To Anna's surprise, Golden Eye approached her and asked, "Where's the soup?"

"In the kitchen."

"Bring me to it."

Golden Eye ordered the crew to get back to their jobs before he gestured for Anna and Maximus to take him to the kitchen.

After she opened the door, Anna stepped into the kitchen with footsteps following behind and a sweet scent filled her nose. A large grin was formed on Anna's face and she fisted her hips. "What do yo—ye think, Captain?"

Golden Eye came to a halt, peering down at the soup, rubbing his chin. He picked up a large spoon, dunked it in the large bowl, and slurped the soup. He peered over at Anna and slurred, "Ye know, not bad, mate, but it's missing something."

"Oh, really?" Anna asked, crossing her arms. "I thought that I put all of the ingredients in there? What could I do to make it taste better?"

"This is what ye could do," Golden Eye mused, picking up the bowl. He turned away from the table and flipped the bowl upside down. The soup poured out of the bowl, spreading further on the ground in a puddle. Golden Eye spun back to her, putting the empty bowl back on the table and mused, "Ye could clean this up and then wash that bowl."

Anna growled, pointing a finger at him. "Yo—Ye have got to be kidding me! Do ye have any idea how long it took for me to make that?" She was just about to punch him when Maximus shook his head at her and glared at Golden Eye. "It's not nice to ruin a meal after someone went through all the trouble to make it for everybody!"

Golden Eye scoffed, walking towards the door. "It tasted too salty anyway. It ain't a surprise considering, yer an amateur. Now clean this up!"

After the Captain left the room and his footsteps faded away, Anna glared down at the spill. If he didn't want soup, he should've told her that in the first place and told her what to make.

When Maximus neighed in frustration, Anna peered up at him and said, "I know, Max. This isn't fair. How would he like it if he made something and we did what he did? He would throw a fit!" She glared down at the soup

"What happened?"

Anna peered up to see Kristoff and Sven standing in the doorway, peering at her. Maximus nudged his head towards the soup neighing and Anna told them what happened.

"So, now we have to clean this all up," she complained. "He should be the one cleaning this! He made the mess!"

"He's a pirate," Kristoff said, "what do you expect? Hang on, we'll help you two clean this up."

Anna heaved a sigh of relief before a smile formed on her face. "Ah, thank you. We really could use it. It's bad enough that Golden Eye changed his mind about taking us to Pazatrille."

"That reminds me," Kristoff said, doing his voice for Sven. "Where is Eugene? We need to talk to him especially since he gave Golden Eye a completely different backstory about you two."

"I don't know," Kristoff admitted. "The last time I saw him, he was on deck, helping the sailing master. We need to get him down here."

Anna peeked her head outside the kitchen. Her eyes scanned around the area and she listened for anyone approaching. There was no sign of anyone coming. She immediately slid back into the kitchen and peered back at her group.

Anna clasped her hands and let out a breath. "Okay, this is what we're going to do, guys. We will sneak upstairs and find Eugene. Right when we find him, we will sneak back down here and get in the kitchen before anyone notices anything."

Maximus neighed.

"I agree with Max," Kristoff said, doing his voice for Sven. "We can't all go looking for him. We'll only create more suspicion if we do." He peered over at Anna. "You go and look for Eugene. We'll clean this up."

"Are you sure?" Anna asked, almost stepping in the spill. Maximus and Sven took a peek outside the kitchen. "I don't want to get you guys in trouble for doing my job."

"It'll be fine, Anna," Kristoff reassured. "I doubt that Golden Eye, Peepers, or Myra will be coming in here anytime soon." He took a quick glance outside the door and gently ushered her outside the kitchen. "Just be careful and be quick. If anyone sees you, just say that you were looking for a mop."

When Anna paused outside of the kitchen, she peered over to her friends. "Alright. Wish me luck. I'll find Eugene and then we'll meet you guys down here."

As Anna went above deck, she scanned the area for anyone approaching. She still wished that she didn't leave her friends to do her work for her. It was bad enough that Kristoff was already on Peepers' bad side; she didn't want to think about what would happen if he caught them doing her work after Golden Eye ordered her to clean up. Even if she had objected, her friends still would've forced her to go and find Eugene.

When she saw no sign of anyone approaching, Anna crept forward, peering around for Eugene. Since he was helping the sailing master, he must be by the wheel. When she heard two pirates coming, Anna quickly ducked behind a barrel and waited until they passed by. As Anna carefully peeked from behind the barrel, she saw that pirates were dispersed all over the deck eating beans. She took a deep breath. You can do this, Anna. Go find Eugene and bring him to the kitchen. Taking a deep breath, Anna slowly backed away from the barrel and went in a new direction of the deck.

Entering onto the stern deck, Anna grinned when she noticed the helm. She was just about to go over to it when she saw no sign of Eugene. She peered around for him until she saw him head in another direction on the ship. She almost called out to him but she stopped herself and just followed him instead.

For a while, she wandered through a new part of the ship until she rounded the corner and finally saw him. He was behind a large crate and there were some weapons stored right behind him. Anna rushed over. "You need to get—"

Eugene abruptly shushed her and pointed ahead of him. Right when Anna was about to protest, she noticed that Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck were standing right by a closed room.

"What ye think of Golden Eye's new plan?" Long Floyd asked, spitting on his sword and wiping it.

Ruthless Buck opened up the chamber to his gun and loaded in new bullets before he placed it in his holster. "Want to know what I think, mate? It's rubbish! So much for taking Hogan's loot!"

"Aye, who wants to go to Zoomberg?" Long Floyd slurred. "There's nothing to loot there except for that jewel!"

Ruthless Buck glanced over to his friend. "Hey, heartie, ye remember Myra and Peepers telling us about that scurvy dog that reported us back in Delitpen? Ye think that could be the same son of a biscuit eater that told Hogan about our heist?"

Long Floyd was in thought for a while before he finally spoke. "Well, it ain't a coincidence. That scurvy dog probably was working for someone. Ye think that it was Rider and his loser friends?"

"Aye," Ruthless Buck slurred. "Has to be."

You have got to be kidding me! Anna knew that they should've escaped the ship after the battle. Now Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd thought that they were the ones who reported Golden Eye's crew, not Calkins.

"Well, that Prince said that Rider is the Captain of the guard and Prince Edmund's son," Ruthless Buck slurred. "And we just heard Rider lie to Golden Eye about Jake and Ardie's backstories." Eugene glanced over to Anna with a questioning stare and she mouthed that she and Kristoff would explain what happened to him when they got below deck. They both glanced back at the two pirates. "Maybe he was right."

"But that lady said that it wasn't Rider," Long Floyd slurred, wiping his gun.

That's right, Cassandra had attempted to lie to Hans about Eugene in front of everyone. Anna wasn't sure that it had worked, but at least she tried.

"Aye, but she also said that someone else stole Rider's identity," Ruthless Buck said. "Either she somehow knew Rider and was covering for him or she mistook Rider for Brock Thunderstruck."

"Could be either way," Long Floyd agreed. "I find that odd that Rider 'stole' those two pendants from both Corona and the Dark Kingdom."

Ruthless Buck placed his hands on his hips. "What d'ye think? Should we tell the Captain?"

"Let's find more proof first," Long Floyd slurred. "We'll keep searching through Rider and Jake's things until we find something, then we'll report it to Golden Eye."

Anna barely had time to collect her thoughts when Eugene glanced over his shoulder to her and nodded his head the other way, hinting that they should leave before they got caught. When Anna slowly backed up, she against something, followed by a loud bang behind her. Piles of weapons had spilled all over the ground, and Anna and Eugene scurried away from the area.

As soon as they turned a corner, Anna felt Eugene grab her arm and pull her into a room with him. Eugene gestured for her to be quiet as he quietly shut the door. When Anna placed her back against the wall, she saw that they were in Golden Eye's office. Luckily, the Captain wasn't there.

For a while, Anna and Eugene kept still where they were, listening for anyone approaching. At first, it sounded like someone was coming until the footsteps turned in another direction. They waited for a bit longer until they finally decided to leave and get to the kitchen before Golden Eye or anyone else would come.

Anna glanced over her shoulder as she and Eugene went down the stairs and headed towards the kitchen. "I'm surprised Golden Eye wasn't in his office."

"He left right before I went to eavesdrop on Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck. He went to his cabin to find something when I saw those two."

"Do you think that they know that it was us?"

"I don't know, Anna," Eugene admitted, peering back at the door. "Maybe they did, maybe they didn't."

As they approached the kitchen, they saw Kristoff standing in the doorway, gesturing for them to come inside. Anna spotted a drying bowl on the counter and peered down to see that the spill was gone.

"Okay, Kristoff," Eugene began, "we have something to tell you."

Kristoff sighed, rubbing his eyes. "Oh, no," he groaned. "Anna ran into Peepers and Myra, didn't she?"

Anna raised her eyebrow. "No, I didn't see them up there."

"Wait, what happened?" Eugene asked.

"Some time after Anna left," Kristoff began, "we had just finished cleaning up when we heard footsteps coming. At first, we thought that it was Golden Eye, but instead, it was Peepers and Myra. They both asked for you and I told them that you had just left. When they left, they told me to send you to them. Maximus was in another room, putting the mop away when he heard them say that they were going to have you shoot at the bell to see if you were honest about being skilled with a gun."

Anna dropped her jaw and slowly shook her head, recalling that Peepers had told her that he was going to talk with her. That must've been what he wanted to see her about. He and Myra were intending to see if she had lied to them about using a gun.

"What?" Anna asked. "I don't believe it."

Eugene shook his head. "Well, that's just great. First, Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck, now Peepers and Myra? Can we ever get a break?"

Kristoff's eyes widened. "What happened with Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck?" Anna peeked outside the room one last time before she and Eugene told him what they heard from those two pirates. "Oh, brilliant!" he turned to Eugene with a glare. "Ha, your plan worked great! You happy now?"

Eugene sighed, running his hand through his hair. "Kristoff, I—"

"Eugene, this is a waste of time," Kristoff hissed. Maximus and Sven peeked just outside the door before shaking their heads at Eugene. "We should've escaped after that damn battle."

"Don't remind me," Eugene groaned. "I'm kicking at myself too! I didn't think that Wadsworth would report Golden Eye and his crew!" He must've assumed that it was Wadsworth who reported the pirates too. "He knew that we were using them to drop us off at Pazatrille!"

"He was only trying to help," Anna said. "He didn't know that Betsey would go to Hogan and tell Golden Eye." She suddenly remembered to tell Eugene about the backstories that she and Kristoff had told Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck, so she did.

Eugene shook his head. "Why didn't you tell me that you told them that?"

"You said to act like a pirate!" Anna retorted. "And that was what we did! Anyway, we just assumed that they would've said that to Peepers, Myra, or even Golden Eye!"

"It's not going to matter anyway, Anna," Kristoff groaned. "Soon they're going to find us out."

"Oh, they'll find us out before we even get to Vardaros!" Eugene laughed sarcastically. Maximus neighed at him. "Yes, I know we should've escaped after that battle! You don't need to remind me about it, Max!"

"Can we just leave already?" Kristoff said, doing his voice for Sven. "It's getting worse and worse each day. It's only a matter of time before they find us out!"

"I agree, Sven," Kristoff nodded, glaring at Eugene. "They're not going to Pazatrille anyway and we need to get that map. We might as well escape."

"We're going to have to," Eugene agreed. "If we get off this ship by dawn, we should be able to get to Pazatrille in time."

Anna glanced out the door for anyone listening nearby before she peeked her head back in the room. "How are we going to get out of here?"

"We just have to get past whoever's guarding the deck," Eugene said. "Does anyone know who Golden Eye assigned to watch the deck tonight?"

"Actually, Peeper punished me by assigning it to me," Kristoff sighed. "He—"

"Wait a minute," Eugene interrupted. "That's perfect! That'll help us out! Kristoff, you can keep watch and make sure that Golden Eye and the other pirates don't catch us escaping!"

"So, when are we going to escape?" Anna asked. She couldn't wait to get off this ship for good.

"We'll leave at dawn," Eugene decided.

Kristoff glanced over his shoulder at him. "Are you sure that the pirates won't be up by then?"

"Yes."

"Jake!" Peepers' voice hollered down from the stairs. "Get up here! Ye have to guard the deck!"

Kristoff sighed, shaking his head. He was just about to leave the kitchen when Anna grabbed his arm.

"Are you going to be okay, Kristoff?" Anna asked.

"I'll be fine, Anna." Kristoff smiled. "Don't worry about me."

"Do you know where the lifeboats are?" Eugene asked. "If not, I could show you."

"Yes. I saw them before when Anna and I were mopping the deck. I'll guard the deck and then when dawn comes, you guys come, we'll get in a lifeboat and leave."

Anna's eyes grew big when her friends turned to her with a stern look. Okay, this was awkward. "What?"

"We're going to be leaving at dawn," Eugene began, "which means that you can't oversleep."

"Don't worry." Anna smiled, placing her hands on her hips. "I'll be up before—"

"Anna, this is serious," Kristoff said in a stern tone, making Anna's smile fade away. "You have to get up in the morning."

"Kristoff, I am serious," Anna retorted. "I know that—"

"Jake!" Peepers yelled. "Get up here now! Now! Now!"

Kristoff quickly slid out of the room and gave his girlfriend and their friends one last glance. "Okay, see ya!"

After Anna, Eugene, Maximus, and Sven wished him good luck, Kristoff disappeared from their vision, with fading footsteps going up the stairs and the door shutting behind.

"Sven," Eugene whispered. "Go up there and help him." After Sven nodded and left the room, Eugene turned to Maximus. "Max, do you know where Golden Eye's office and cabin is?" Maximus neighed with a nod. "Good. Okay, before we leave, do you think that you could keep watch on those in case Golden Eye comes out?" Maximus nodded and left the room.

"Why does Max need to make sure that Golden Eye isn't coming out?" Anna wondered. "Wouldn't Golden Eye be asleep?"

"Golden Eye usually goes to sleep later than everyone else," Eugene explained. "Hook Foot told me, and a few days ago I heard the Captain walking on deck. Max could let us know if he sees Golden Eye around anywhere."

Then they heard the pirates from above them and it sounded like they were thrilled to finally turn in for the night. When they heard footsteps starting to come towards the stairs, Anna and Eugene took it as a sign that they should retreat to their bunks.

"What time is it?" Anna heard Lennie ask someone from the stairs.

"It's midnight," Trops answered, causing Anna and Eugene to groan. "I'll be happy to get some sleep. Let's hope the Captain don't wake us up again."

Eugene left the kitchen first and Anna was just about to follow him when she heard a bang behind her. She took a glance outside the room and saw that all of the pirates were retiring for the night. Anna made sure that no one else was coming towards the kitchen and slowly shut the door behind her. She almost jumped when she heard the loud bang again.

Heaving a deep breath, Anna stepped further into the kitchen, her eyes searching all over. Had someone in here been listening to their conversations? She hoped that wasn't the case, overwise, they would be in trouble. They already were in hot water; the last thing they needed was for things to get worse.

A cupboard door slowly creaked open, causing Anna to freeze and spin around. Her eyes widened when she saw a small shadow stretch out from behind the cupboard door. Anna tilted her head and stepped closer to it, raising her hand towards the cupboard.

Shortly thereafter, the cupboard flew open and Anna gasped when she saw Betsey standing right inside. Betsey peered up at her and squawked, "Imposter! Imposter!"

Anna drew in her breath when she noticed that Betsey's eyes were targeting the door. They both peered at the door and back at each other. Without warning, the parrot flew out of the cupboard, but Anna was able to grab her legs.

The parrot struggled to pull out of her grip but Anna wouldn't let it. "No. No. No."

Betsey leaned down towards Anna's hands and quickly bit her right hand, forcing her to let go and flying towards the door. Anna then noticed that there was a large bag of grapes on the table. With no hesitation, Anna leaped towards the grapes.

Betsey was just about to leave the room when Anna lifted the bag of grapes in the air and shouted, "Look, Betsey, grapes!"

The parrot paused in midair and spun around towards her. Anna slowly went behind the table, with the grapes in her hand. Betsey flew over towards the table, where she landed.

"Hey, Betsey," Anna cooed, holding out the grapes towards her. The parrot stood there tilting her head, letting out a squawk. "You're not going to be a bad parrot, right? No, you're a good parrot, aren't you? Yes, you are not going to tell Golden Eye anything about us, right? No, you're not. So, that's why I'm going to feed you some grapes."

Betsey stretched out her neck and walked towards the grapes. Anna lowered her arm and dropped the grapes on the table. Betsey squawked and hopped toward the grapes, devouring them. Keeping her eyes on the parrot, Anna slowly went around the table and backward towards the door. She took a glance behind her and peered back at the parrot.

When Anna finally stood in the doorway, she stepped out into the hall and slowly shut the door. At least she would be able to keep Betsey away from Golden Eye. Someone would let her out of the kitchen eventually, but by then Anna and her friends would've already escaped the Robin Gallery. After Anna locked the door, she went back to her hammock.

Something was tapping on Anna. She opened her eyes to see Sven hovering over her. Anna rose in her hammock and was just about to ask him something when she spotted the orange sky in the window next to her. She let out a gasp and quietly followed Sven past the other sleeping female pirates and out the room.

Anna shut the door behind her and peered at Sven. "Thanks, Sven."

Sven nodded his head towards the steps and Anna was just about to head up with him when she heard footsteps coming towards her. "What ye two doing?"

Anna and Sven turned to see Peepers walking over to them. Why was he up already? Had he noticed something?

"Uh...I heard something and S—Carrots was letting me know that he's taking care of it," Anna lied, placing her hands behind her back. Her hands gestured for Sven to head to the deck and she heard footsteps go away from her and up the stairs. Maybe she could come up with a distraction to lure Peepers away so she and her friends could escape? "That reminds me, Peepers—I forgot my gun and I think that it might be somewhere in the stores. Could yo—ye go down and look for it for me?"

Peepers arched an eyebrow. "Why can't ye go?"

"I...I'm needed to mop the main deck, yes the main deck. The Captain said that I have to get up earlier than usual to clean it as punishment for making soup for dinner. He told me that when we went to the kitchen last night."

Peepers shot her a doubtful expression before he spun around, muttering something. Anna turned to the stairs and was just about to go up when she was disrupted by something banging on the kitchen door. The doorknob was jiggling so loudly that it could wake anyone nearby up.

Anna bit her lip when Peepers spun back around towards her and asked, "What's that?"

Anna scoffed, crossing her arms. "Oh, I'm sure it's Davy Jones haunting The Robin Gallery. Now, can yo—ye go get my gun? I really need—"

At that moment, the kitchen door flew open with Betsey hanging on the knob with her talon in the keyhole. Anna couldn't believe this parrot. Not only could Betsey spy on others, but she could also picklock. Was there anything that this creature couldn't do?

Betsey fluttered away from the kitchen and over Peepers. "Imposters! Imposter!"

Anna had no time to react when Betsey flew over her and towards the stairs. Her eyes widened and she ran in pursuit after her. "Get back here!"

"Imposters!" Betsey squawked. "Imposters!"

While Betsey flew over the stairs and towards the door, Anna sped after her. Peepers and whoever had woken up might have already heard her but Golden Eye hadn't yet. The best bet for Anna would be to try to catch her before she reached the Captain.

When Betsey reached the door, she stretched her talons out, slamming the door open as soon as they made contact. Anna stumbled on the stairs but managed to dart onto the deck. Suddenly something grabbed her and she peered over her shoulder to see Ruthless Buck.

"Aha!" he yelled. "Yer an imposter, eh? I knew it"

"Let go of me!" Anna demanded, struggling under his grip. She glared up at him, punching the arm that held her. "What are yo—ye talking about?"

Ruthless Buck scoffed, shaking his head. "Oh, come on! Yer past didn't match up with Rider's story and Myra told me about ye and that gun!" Ruthless Buck then lifted his head. "And what have ye got here, mate?"

Anna spun around to see that Kristoff was walking over to them with his hands in the air and Long Floyd pointing a long sword behind his back.

"I caught this scurvy dog trying to bring a lifeboat down," Long Floyd slurred.

"It's not what it looks like!" Kristoff stammered. "I was just trying to—"

"Ye were getting that boat so ye and yer mates could escape!" Long Floyd slurred. "Weren't ye?"

"Are ye insane?" Kristoff slurred. "Why would we do that?"

"Quit acting!" Long Floyd slurred, pointing his sword forward. "We ain't stupid! Ye really think that we wouldn't catch ye?"

What were Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd doing up here anyway? Shouldn't they be asleep? And where were Eugene and Maximus? Had they gotten caught? When Anna peered around, she noticed that Sven was coming up behind Long Floyd.

Anna glanced over at Long Floyd. "Yo—ye know—I saw Ruthless Buck dump yer rum yesterday when I started cooking in the kitchen."

Ruthless Buck's eyes widened, causing Long Floyd to glare at him. "Ye what?!"

"I don't know what she's talking about!" Ruthless Buck protested. "I didn't dump yer rum, I drank—oh shit!"

"Ye scuvy dog!" Long Floyd sneered. "What makes ye think ye can do that?! I don't get in yer things!"

"Oh, really?" Kristoff mused. "Because I remember seeing ye steal Ruthless Buck's gold yesterday morning."

Ruthless Buck's face grew red and he furrowed his eyebrows. "Oh, so I can't drink yer rum, but ye can take me booty!"

Before the two pirates could get into a heated quarrel, Sven kicked Long Floyd in the back, causing him to drop his sword. Kristoff kicked the sword away from him. Ruthless Buck was just about to help Long Floyd when Anna seized the opportunity and kicked him in the groin, forcing him to release her. Once she was out of his grip, Anna spat at him. Ruthless Buck growled, grabbed Anna, and threw her to the ground. Shortly thereafter, Kristoff punched the pirate in the arm.

"Leave her alone!" yelled Kristoff as Anna rose from the ground.

Ruthless Buck raised his fist to punch Kristoff, but he ducked and Long Floyd, who had just risen from the ground, was the one who got punched instead.

"Ye son of a biscuit eater!" he growled.

Before anyone knew it, the two pirates were engaged in a fist fight and the other pirates came just in time to see it. Some were chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight!" while the rest of them were placing bets on who would win.

"Hey!" Peepers yelled, getting in between them. "What the—"

One of them accidentally hit Peepers and he fell backward on the ground. He angrily rose, muttering some curses about Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck. Anna, Kristoff, and Sven took this as an opportunity and darted away.

When they reached the middle of the deck, Maximus and Eugene raced over to them. Anna noticed that they both were carrying swords and that Myra was coming behind them with a sword in her hand. Once she saw Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd fighting, she tried to order them to catch Anna and her friends.

"What happened?" Kristoff asked, coming to a halt.

"After I left you to bring the lifeboat down," Eugene began, "I went over to the office to get Maximus and he was fighting Myra and Ruthless Buck. Myra told him and Long Floyd to stay up on deck to see if we were up to something and while those two were spying on you, Kristoff, she was waiting inside the office and eventually saw Maximus. When I saw Maximus fighting her and Ruthless Buck, I ran over to try and help. Then we heard Betsey screaming from below deck. When Ruthless Buck ran, I tried to chase him, but Myra knocked me out before I had the chance. If Max hadn't fought her, she would've taken me to Golden Eye."

All the pirates must have been communicating behind their backs, figuring out the truth about Anna and her friends. That must've been why Ruthless Buck and Long Floyd were up on deck.

"That must be why you didn't see Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck in their hammocks when you woke up, Eugene," Kristoff speculated. "What now?"

"We have to get out of here!" Anna exclaimed. "Come on!"

"Not. So. Fast!" Golden Eye's voice boomed from above.

Everyone peered up to see that Golden Eye was in the crow's nest. Anna's heart stung and she let out a small gasp when she saw that Betsey was sitting on his shoulder. Golden Eye grabbed a rigging and swung out of the crow's nest, landing perfectly on the ground in front of Anna and her friends.

"Arrgh! Imposters!" Betsey squawked.

Golden Eye pulled out a grape from his jacket pocket. "Well done, Betsey! Here ye go, lass!" After he threw the grape at Betsey and she caught it, she fluttered off his shoulder. Golden Eye then peered straight at Anna and her friends. "Well, well, well. Hey, mates, looks like that Prince was right! Flynn Rider and his mates are imposters!"

The pirates muttered curses in the background. Norma and Trops then seized Anna and her friends were seized by pirates too.

"Wait, so Rider's not a thief?" Rolley asked. "What is he then?"

Golden Eye fisted his hips. "His real name is Eugene Fitzherbert, Prince of the Dark Kingdom, Husband of Princess Rapunzel, and Captain of the Guard in Corona!"

This caused the pirates to shoot more curses at them. Anna took a peek over her shoulder to see that Golden Eye's crew were outraged by this. What were they going to do to her and her friends?

"We have the Captain of the Guard on board with us?!" a pirate slurred.

Anne stepped forward, glaring at Anna, Kristoff, Maximus, and Sven. "Then who're they?"

"Mates," Golden Eye began, "Captain Fitzherbert brought along Corona's palace horse and mascot, Maximus, Princess Anna of Arendelle, and her boyfriend, Kristoff, and his reindeer Sven."

Anna peered at him in disbelief. "How do you know about that?"

Golden Eye turned his gaze towards her and Kristoff. "When Betsey was on Lady Caine's ship, she also heard Lady Caine telling Pocket about Maximus foiling her plan, and how ye tried to fight her." Anna sighed, shaking her head. "After I learned from Betsey about ye all being imposters, I realized that ye must've been the ones that Lady Caine was talking about. That explain how ye two're amateurs!"

"They must've been the ones who reported us back in Delitpen!" Peepers slurred. "I knew that something was up!"

"That must've been their plan all along!" Myra slurred. "They reported us in Delitpen and then somehow found out our plan to Hogan so they reported us there too!"

"Oh, that's bullshit!" Kristoff yelled.

"Do you even hear yourself, Captain?!" Eugene yelled. "If we were planning to arrest you, why would we go through all the trouble to dress up as pirates and come on here?!"

"Oh, I don't know? Cause it was a trick!" Golden Eye mused. "Ye were trying to trick us so ye could arrest us! Ye must be trying to arrest Lady Caine too! That's why ye wanted us to take ye to Pazatrille!"

"That's not true!" Anna denied.

The protests of Anna and her friends soon mingled with boos and curses from the pirates. Anna's eyes widened as she saw something or someone flying towards the Robin Gallery. Soon after, Golden Eye ordered everyone to be quiet and they all obeyed

"What're we gonna do with them, Captain?" Peepers asked, pointing a sword at Eugene.

Golden Eye rubbed his chin, giving Anna and her group an intense stare down. "Well, their companions are helpful but we can't have the other three with us." Anna's eyes frantically peered around, hoping that she would find a way to get her and her friends out of this. Her mouth dropped when Golden Eye pulled his sword out of his hilt and aimed it towards the sea. "Keep the horse and the reindeer with us! The other three will walk the plank!"

Shortly thereafter, Anna felt her hands being pulled back behind her. She tried to fight against Trops and Norma, but they were stronger than she was. She continued to struggle as her hands were tied together. When Norma and Trops were done, Anna peered up at her friends. Kristoff and Eugene had their hands tied behind them and they were trying to resist. Maximus and Sven were tied up and Lennie and Anne were holding their ropes like leashes.

Golden Eye ordered everyone to follow him to the side of the ship. As they followed him, Peepers and Myra carried a large plank, causing Anna's heart to thud. How were they going to get out of this? There must be something that they could do. When Golden Eye stood by the side of the ship, Anna frantically looked over at her friends.

She narrowed her eyes as Eugene and Kristoff exchanged a look then peered at her. Were they planning something? She was tempted to ask until the sound of the plank hitting against the ground came, causing her to glance over and see that the plank was hanging over the ocean.

Everyone came to a halt, the pirates chanting for them to walk the plank. Golden Eye swung over to them and pointed his sword towards them. "Now, who's first?"

"Take me first!" Anna yelled. If Kristoff and Eugene were planning something then she had to buy them more time.

"Anna, no!" Kristoff yelled. "What are you doing?"

She had no time to see the reactions of her friends as Trops and Norma jostled her towards the plank, causing her to stumble. Anna froze when Golden Eye pointed his sword towards her.

"You monster!" she yelled.

Golden Eye came closer to her, pointing his sword at her, forcing her to walk backward. "Ye think yer so tough? Shut up and walk the plank!"

Anna walked backward until her foot felt the end of the plank. She almost slipped but managed to maintain balance. She peered down and regretted it right away.

"Go on, lass!" Golden Eye slurred. "What're ye waiting for? Walk the plank!"

Her fingers reached for her hands and felt them pulling at the rope. Surely, she could untie her binds. She could do this. She would just have to—

"I said walk the plank!" Golden Eye yelled.

Before she could react, the plank began shaking, almost knocking her over. She peered up and gasped when she saw that Peepers and Myra were down on their knees and had their hands on the plank.

"No!" Kristoff yelled. "Anna!"

"Walk the plank!" Golden Eye yelled.

Peepers and Myra shook the plank violently. Anna pulled at her rope even more, but the plank shaking was making it even more difficult. Was this really the end? Was she going to go down?

"Hey!" a deep voice yelled. "Golden Eye!"

Everyone spun around and peered up at the flags. On top of the flag was a large, muscular man with curly black hair, a necklace and a leaf skirt. He had a large hook in his hand.

"Maui!" Golden Eye hissed. "We meet again!"

Oh, so that's the Maui she'd been hearing about! While Anna peered at the pirate crew, they all were either enraged or muttering to each other. When she looked to Kristoff and Eugene, she noticed that Eugene made a gesture to Kristoff who nodded in response. Since no one was paying attention to her anymore, she seized the opportunity and snuck back towards the ship. It was hard not to wobble since she was walking on a plank with her hands tied behind her back. Her fingers continue to pick at the rope.

"Missed you too, Captain!" Maui grinned. He peered down at something on his chest. "Giant hawk?" After a second, he raised his hook. "It's Maui time!"

Maui let out a call and then transformed into a large hawk. Golden Eye immediately barked orders for crew to attack him. While most of the crewmates raced towards either their guns or cannons, Maui swooped them and ran his hook into them. The pirates went flying into the wall and when they hit the ground, Golden Eye ordered them to get up. Some of the pirates shot bullets at Maui, but he swooped up, missing the bullets.

As Maui flew over Maximus and Sven, he held his hook towards their ropes, slicing through them and letting them free.

"You're welcome!" Maui shouted. "Now let me help you get out of here!"

A small group of pirates snuck up behind Maui, but Maximus and Sven lifted their hooves and kicked them away. Maui noticed, widening his eyes in approval. He was about to say something to them when two pirates raced over towards Maximus and Sven. Fortunately, they didn't even reach them as Maui used his hook to block. He flew over the pirates. He swooped down, used his talons to seize the two pirates, spun around in a circle a few times, and released them. The two pirates went flying and hit one of the flags.

Maui flew over to the crow's net and landed inside. He transformed again, growing fins and gills. "Sharkhead!" he taunted, pointing at him.

"Don't just stand there!" Golden Eye growled, waving his sword around. "Get him! Now!"

Maui jumped out of the crow's net and transformed into a hawk again. "You have to catch me first, Captain!"

Norma, Anne, and Trops raced towards Maui, but Maximus jumped in front of them with a sword. They took out their swords and cowardly fought him. Peepers started to load his revolver, but Sven snuck behind him and kicked him, forcing him to release his weapon. The revolver went over the side of the ship and into the ocean.

As more pirates darted towards Maui, Golden Eye glanced over his shoulder and shouted, "Some of you watch the prisoners!"

"Oh, Captain," Eugene called in a playful voice. He moved his hands from behind his back, letting rope fall to the ground. He must've found a way to untie himself. He pulled out a dagger from his pocket. "I think it's too late for that."

Golden Eye let out a laugh and pulled out his long, jagged, golden sword. "This oughta be good."

When they started fighting, Kristoff jumped up, looping his tied hands underneath his legs and back in front of him. "Sven! A little help here!" Sven knocked a dagger out of a pirate's hand and kicked it away from him before he could pick it up. The blade slid across the ground until Kristoff stopped it with his foot. He put the blade towards the rope and sliced through it, setting himself free. The ropes fell to the ground and Kristoff glanced over at Sven. "Thanks, buddy!" He swiftly spun over to Anna. "Anna, get over here!"

When Anna finally reached the front of the plank, she was still trying to untie her knots. Lennie snuck up behind Eugene and tried to strike him. Fortunately, Eugene quickly dropped to the ground, used his leg to knock Lennie over. Unfortunately, he fell backward into Anna, sending her over the railing and towards the water.

"KRISTOFF!" Anna screamed.

Kristoff jumped over the railing with rigging in his hand. He swung over to Anna and caught her right before she reached the water. She held on to him as he swung back over the railing and they both landed on deck.

"Thank you!" Anna said, giving him a peck on the cheek.

"No problem!" Kristoff blushed.

Their faces fell once they noticed that Long Floyd and Ruthless Buck were charging towards them. Anna and Kristoff each snatched a club from the ground and raised it towards them. They fought the two pirates for a bit until they heard Maui's voice.

"You two!" he called to Maximus and Sven. "Get the lifeboat ready! I'll be there!"

Anna peered over at Kristoff. "We have to get there!"

They were just about to race over to the lifeboat when they spotted Eugene fighting Peepers. He seemed to be doing well on his own until Myra started to come towards them.

"I'll help Eugene!" Kristoff shouted, raising his club and racing over. "You go help get the lifeboat down. We'll meet you there!"

Anna nodded, held the club against her shoulder, and raced towards where Maximus and Sven were lowering the lifeboat, kicking every pirate that would try to stop them.

"Hey, guys!" Anna yelled.

Maui flew over towards the lifeboat and landed inside, gesturing for Maximus and Sven to get in. "Once you two get it," he began, "I'll cut the rope and then I'll get you away. Hurry before she gets in!"

Maximus and Sven froze, letting out a neigh and a bray.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Anna asked, placing her hand on the side of the lifeboat.

"Uh, I'm getting them out of here," Maui answered. A pirate raced towards him, but he punched him, sending him flying. "Now, get away before you end up like your friend here!"

Anna gasped in realization. "No, we're not pirates! I swear!" she yelled. Rolley raced over towards her, but she punched him.

"Yeah, right," Maui scoffed. "So, you're just disguised as pirates?!" He started to laugh sarcastically. Anna, Maximus, and Sven peered at him with a serious expression, causing him to stop. "Wait, you're serious!"

Anna nodded.

"Why?" Maui asked. Then one of the tattoos seemed to shake his head up at him. It was a tiny person, like a mini version of Maui. "I'm just curious!" Maui said to the mini Maui. "I've never heard of anyone dressing up as pirates on a pirate ship!' He peered back at Anna. "Why are you dressed as a pirate if you're not one?"

"Long story!" Anna huffed. "We'll explain it to you when we leave."

"Fine, just get in the boat!" Maui huffed, gesturing for her to get in.

"We can't leave!" Anna protested. Maximus and Sven neighed and brayed at Maui. "We have to get my boyfriend and cousin-in-law first!"

Maui raised his eyebrow and peered back at the deck. "Where are they?"

Anna glanced over her shoulder. Her heart thudded as she surveyed the deck for Kristoff and Eugene. She scanned the area until she saw Kristoff fighting against Myra, Norma, and Trops. She pointed at him. "That's my boyfriend!" Her eyes scanned the area again until she spotted Eugene fighting against Peepers, Anne, and Rolley. "And that's my cousin's husband!"

Maui sighed and jumped out of the lifeboat. "Alright! We'll grab them and then go!"

Anna picked up her club and she and Sven raced over towards Kristoff while Maximus darted towards Eugene with Maui flying over them, ready to fight off any pirate that got in their way. A new group of pirates began encircling Kristoff and Anna and Sven jumped in.

"I got your back!" Anna yelled, with Sven braying shortly after.

Kristoff pulled his arm back and swung his club at a pirate. "Thanks, guys!"

"Anytime." Anna smiled.

While Anna, Kristoff, and Sven continued to fight off the pirates, they saw that Maximus grabbed a sword and started fighting the pirates with Eugene. Maui would fight off the pirates either with his hook or he would transform into something to fight them.

After Maui defeated a group of pirates, Golden Eye marched over to him, drawing out his sword. "Let's get this over with, Maui."

Just then, something hit Golden Eye in the back of his head, knocking him out. He fell forward on the ground and Eugene stood with a frying pan in his hand.

"Frying pans!" Eugene exclaimed. "Who knew right? You know you should get one of these! They come in handy!"

"Get to the lifeboat!" Maui yelled. "I'll take care of the pirates!"

"Come on!" Eugene shouted to his friends.

Anna let out a breath and her heart thudded as she and her friends raced over towards the lifeboat, fighting off any pirate that got in their way. She could feel the adrenaline rushing through her veins. She spotted a sword on the ground, picked it up, and placed it in a loop on her belt. She took a peek over her shoulder to see Maui fighting off the pirates.

"Keep going!" Maui yelled.

Once they reached the railing, Anna and her friends leaped into the lifeboat. Peepers darted over towards them, but Maximus jumped out of the boat and ran over to him. He kicked him in the stomach, causing him to fall on the ground in pain. He then raced back into the lifeboat and leaped inside.

Anna, Kristoff, and Eugene tried to lower the lifeboat into the water, yet they weren't having any luck. The lever seemed to be stuck.

"Come on," Anna muttered. "Please work. Please work."

Eugene suddenly gasped. "I have an idea! Guys, lower your head!" He started to pull out his sword.

"What? Are you crazy?" Kristoff fretted.

"You're seriously going to cut the rope?!" Anna exclaimed. "We're nowhere near the water!"

"We don't have any other option!" Eugene shouted. "Now lower your heads!"

Anna, Kristoff, Maximus, and Sven crouched down and lowered their heads. Eugene raised his sword, swung his arm back, and sliced through the rope. Anna and her friends screamed as the lifeboat plummeted towards the water. When the lifeboat landed, Anna barely had time to collect her thoughts when Eugene and Kristoff quickly grabbed paddles.

Anna peered around for Maui. "Do you think Maui's alright?"

Maui's yell caused them to peer up where Maui flew over the railing and swooped towards their boat. "Get out of here now!"

When Maui landed in the lifeboat, they suddenly sailed further away from the Robin Gallery. They were going so fast that Anna felt like she was going to be sick.

"Maui! Fitzherbert!" Golden Eye's voice yelled.

Anna, her friends, and Maui glanced over their shoulder to see Golden Eye standing at the railing, glaring at them. The image of him and the Robin Gallery grew farther away as the lifeboat sailed further.

"Ye scurvy dogs will pay for this!" Golden Eye growled.

As the lifeboat sailed further into the sea, there was a long moment of silence between Anna, her friends, and Maui.

"They're not going to follow us, are they?" Kristoff asked, causing Anna to peer over her shoulder worriedly.

"Relax," Maui assured. "They've moved on."

"Oh, I don't know," Eugene doubted. "Golden Eye could send Betsey after us if he wants to."

Maui spun around towards him. "Was he planning to loot another country?"

"Yeah, but—"

"If anything, that slimy goon sent her to another country or ship to spy," Maui said. "Hopefully." Mini Maui peered up at him with his arms crossed. "Oh, don't look at me like that. You know Golden Eye—he's probably planning to loot whatever."

"How do we—"

"It was your idea to get on there, pretending to be pirates in the first place, Eugene!" Kristoff snapped. "I told you that it wasn't a good idea, but you didn't listen!"

"Kristoff, my plan actually would've worked if we hadn't gotten into battle," Eugene retorted. Maximus neighed at Eugene. "Yes, I'm aware of that, Max, but remember, we didn't have a choice. It was our only way to get to Pazatrille."

"Guys, calm down," Anna said softly, rising from her seat. "We got away from them and we survived."

Kristoff spun around to her. "But we almost got killed, Anna!"

"I know, but we still survived!"

"Okay, I don't get it," Maui commented. "Why were you mortals on Golden Eye's ship disguised as pirates? I doubt he invited you."

"We were trying to get to Pazatrille," Anna explained.

"But why did you go through this fiasco?" Maui asked, dropping his ore in the boat. "You didn't need to go on there dressed as pirates! I could've left you three behind!"

"Didn't you see them try and make us walk the plank?"

"Pirates do that to each other too," Maui and Eugene both answered.

"That doesn't surprise me," Kristoff muttered. He peered over at Maui. "We didn't have any other options. It was our only chance to get to Pazatrille."

"Why are you trying to get there anyway?" Maui asked.

Anna explained to him about what happened in Delitplen with Puck, the Historical Auction, and Lady Caine. "And that's why we have to get there. We have to get the map."

"Can't you just get a new one?" Maui asked. "Or ask someone you know?"

"We don't need it," Eugene answered. "It's for someone else. Have you met a wizard named Scott Longton? He's the one who needs it."

Maui shook his head. "Never heard of him. I was stuck on an island for a thousand years so I have some catching up to do."

"I don't think you would've known him anyway," Kristoff said, peering behind the lifeboat. "He's younger than all of us except Anna."

"Where is he?" Maui asked. "Were you meeting him there?"

"No, he's meeting us in Bronzadelle," Anna explained. "That's why we need to get the map for him."

"Why couldn't he get the map himself?" Maui asked.

"I don't know," Anna said. "We have to get the map so we can help him help his brother find the unidentified magical object that Lord Damtius, Zhan Tiri, and Vlad Moonstormer created."

Maui raised his eyebrow. Mini Maui's eyes widened and he peered up at Maui. "Wait, did you say Lord Damtius, Zhan Tiri, and Vlad Moonstormer?

"Uh...yeah," Anna answered. "Did you know them?"

Maui nodded. "I've got history with them. So, what was the object that this Scott was looking for?"

"We don't know," Kristoff answered. "He doesn't know either."

Maui sighed, staring out into the horizon. After a long while, he peered back at Anna and her friends. "So, where were you going to again?"

"Pazatrille," Eugene answered.

Maui peered over towards the water and back to the group. "Well, I can take you there and then help you find this map."

"Thank you!" Anna smiled, picking up a paddle. "That'd be great!"

"When did these people leave?" Maui asked. "The ones that have the map."

"They left shortly before we caught up with Golden Eye's crew," Kristoff answered. "Do you think that we'll get to them in time?"

Maui picked up a paddle and ducked in the water. "Were there any delays during your voyage?"

"We got into a battle with another ship," Eugene confirmed. "That was it."

"They'll still be there by the time we get there, right?" Anna asked. There was a long minute of silence. "Right?"

"It's hard to tell," Maui began, "but we can try. We'll be arriving in Pazatrille in an hour." Maui's features formed into a grin. "Luckily, you have a master wayfinder on board who will get you there."

For the next hour, they listened to Maui talk about himself—how he kept his hair silky, his adventures. Anna didn't mind, but she noticed that her friends were starting to get bored.

"And that was how we escaped the realm of monsters." Maui noticed something and peered at Anna and her friends. "I believe we have reached our destination."

Their lifeboat was headed towards a large pier. It was bigger than Belliville Bay and the fjord back in Arendelle. Right away, Anna and her friends began to peer around.

"What are you mortals looking for?" Maui inquired. "Do you know what ship they're on?"

"Yes, the Grand Spector," Eugene confirmed before he described the appearance to Maui. Anna was glad that Golden Eye told them what it looked like.

Maui went towards the bow of the lifeboat, picking up his hook. "I'm gonna go over there and check."

"What will we do?" Kristoff asked.

"You guys will stay here and wait for me."

"So, we're just going to wait?"

"Well, what are you supposed to do?" Maui asked in an irritated tone. "Throw a circus?" Mini Maui peered up at him with a puzzled expression. "Do you have a better plan?"

"Kristoff, it won't be long," Anna reassured. "He'll be back soon."

"He better," Kristoff grumbled. "We have to find that map."

"Calm down," Maui groaned. "It won't take long." He peered down at Mini Maui. "You ready, little guy?" Mini Maui smiled and transformed into a hawk. "Giant hawk coming up!"

Maui let out a yell, raised his hook, and changed into a hawk. He flew off the boat and headed towards the pier. As Anna watched him go, something else caught her attention.

A series of buildings of all shapes and sizes spread out on the upcoming land behind the large pier. From what Anna can see of the city, it reminded her of Belliville except it seemed larger. If it hadn't been for everything that was going on, they could've explored this country more. Perhaps after everything was done, they could take a trip here. Elsa and Rapunzel could even come too.

"It's beautiful," Anna said in awe. "What did you and Lance steal here, Eugene?"

"We stole a golden flute," Eugene explained, crossing his arms and allowing a smirk to form on his features. "I was supposed to marry Stalyan, but instead, I took off with Lance and we came here."

The wind whipped her hair in her face. "Did you ever tell Rapunzel about it?"

"Yes, I told her after they crashed the wedding and saved Lance," Eugene said. "It—"

"Uh, guys?" Kristoff said.

Anna glanced over her shoulder and asked, "What is it, Kristoff?"

Kristoff pointed forward to an enormous ship sitting right by the pier. The color of the ship was a deep blood red and was impossible for anyone not to notice. The bow had a figurehead of a man—probably Vlad Moonstormer—and the mast was sliver.

"That's the Grand Spector!" Eugene exclaimed.

Anna spun back toward her friends. "That's good! That means that we made it in time, right?"

"It depends on how long they were there, Anna," Kristoff answered, doing his voice for Sven.

"I agree, Sven," Kristoff nodded. "For all we know, they could've been here for a while."

"I hope not," Anna said. "That would mean that Puck and Calkins sold the map already."

"They better not have sold it already!" Eugene frowned. "We would've done all this for nothing!"

As Eugene and Kristoff spoke to each other, Anna glanced over her shoulder to see that something was flying over them. Her eyes widened when she noticed that it was Maui in his hawk form. "Guys! Look! It's Maui!"

Maui flew over to them and landed at the front of their lifeboat. "Okay, I just heard from someone that The Grand Spector just got here ten minutes ago."

Anna and her friends let out a sigh of relief. "That's great," Anna commented. "That means that—"

"I wouldn't waste my time if I were you," Maui said. "As soon as you land, you should just look for those goons. I'll do what I can to help."

"How are we going to—"

Before Anna could finish her question, Eugene jumped out of the lifeboat and darted toward town. Not too long after, Maximus leaped out as well and raced in a completely different direction.

"Spilt up?!" Kristoff exclaimed. "We don't know our way around town!"

"What other option is there?" Maui asked. Mini Maui peered up at him with his arms crossed. "Well, it's the truth! They're better off catching them by going in different directions."

Anna peered over at Kristoff. "Maui's right, Kristoff. We don't have a choice."

Sven nodded before jumping out of the lifeboat and going in a new direction. Maui raised his hook in the air and transformed back into a hawk.

"I'll search in the sky," Maui declared, fluttering in the air. "I'll let you know if I see anything!"

After they watched Maui fly into the air, Anna and Kristoff shot a look at each other.

"I guess we better split up too," Anna said. "We don't have much time."

Kristoff stood up in the lifeboat and jumped onto the pier. He helped Anna up and said, "We better not waste time then. Good luck!"

Without hesitation, Anna and Kristoff both sped off in completely different directions. As Anna raced onto a path surrounded by buildings, she was tempted to peer over her shoulder to see where Kristoff had gone but she knew that she must focus on getting that map back from Puck and Calkins. Her friends would want her to do the same.

Anna kept her eye out for Puck, Calkins, or even Lady Caine as she darted past buildings and townspeople. Although she didn't know much about this country, it didn't seem very busy to her. Occasionally, she would come to a halt, peer around for those people, Maui, or her friends before she would continue. As she raced past the buildings, she tried to find something distinctive about them so she could remember where she was. Unfortunately, everything looked the same, even the roads.

Anna grinned when she noticed a path on the far left side of the street. With all the strength she had, she pushed herself to race faster towards the path and rounded the corner. She abruptly paused when she saw that it was an alleyway with a dead end.

"Oh, come on!" Anna growled, stomping her foot. "Can't I just get a break?!"

"Go away!" a man yelled. "We're calling the guards!"

After sighing, Anna spun around to run again when she saw that people were screaming and running away from her. "It's a pirate! Go get the guards!"

Anna froze. Their behavior reminded her of how her people had reacted back in Arendelle when Elsa's magic was exposed. "What? What did I—" It was her pirate costume! She had forgotten that she was still wearing it. "No, this isn't what it looks like! I'm not a pirate!"

"Stay away!" a woman yelled.

Anna stepped forward towards her. "No, wait! I can explain!"

It was too late. Everyone raced away from her without looking back. Anna sighed, shaking her head. She wondered if it happened to her friends too and how many people thought they were actual pirates. They might've even gotten arrested.

She didn't have a choice now; she would have to find Puck and Calkins on her own. Anna peered around the area, spinning around in circles until she finally darted in a different direction from where she came from. When she came across a two way split, she was just about to leave again when she heard footsteps behind her.

"Nice costume," a voice said behind her. "Are you heading to a party?"

Anna spun around to find a woman dressed in a long fur coat. She wore a large feather hat on her head and held a yellow fan in front of her, making it difficult to see her face.

"Oh, hi there." Anna smiled. "No, it's just a disguise."

"Why?" the woman asked. Her voice almost sounded familiar. "You really shouldn't be running around dressed as a pirate."

After Anna explained to the woman everything from Delitpen to arriving at the pier, she asked, "How do you know that I'm not really a pirate? Why do you believe me?"

"I saw what just happened," the woman explained. "And judging from your voice, I could tell that you were telling the truth."

Anna heaved a sigh of relief. "Ah, thank you! Finally!" she broke into a chuckle before her features formed a serious expression. "You have no idea what it felt like being mistaken for a pirate!"

"No problem," the woman said. She pointed to the left path. "We should head that way. Lead me there."

Anna nodded and went forward on the road with the woman following behind her. When they entered an unfamiliar area, a large smile formed on Anna's face when she saw that there was a small group of people coming out of a church.

"We should see some guards soon," Anna said, scanning the area.

"Keep an eye out. Oh! Can we stop here for a second? I think that I dropped something."

"Oh, sure."

She and the woman stopped right next to a flag pole that was behind a small brick garden wall. Anna peered up and saw that the flag was red with a symbol of a swan in it.

"Can you help me look?" the woman asked. "It won't take long, I promise."

"Sure, I'll help you." Anna spun around and got on her knees on the ground. "Now, what are you looking for?"

"I was looking for—" Suddenly, a kick to the back sent Anna to the ground. Before she had the chance to get up, something pressed on her back again, pinning her down. "Some information that you just gave me! Now, I just have to find the rest of your party!"

Anna glanced over her shoulder to see the woman closing her fan and revealing Lady Caine grinning down at her.

"It's you!" Anna growled, trying to push herself up but failing.

"Oh, honey." Lady Caine grinned. She let out a small chuckle. "You really need to work on your judgment."

Anna frowned, using all her might to try to get herself up. "Where's Puck and Calkins?"

"How should I know?" Lady Caine scoffed. "Aww, are they friends of yours?"

"Get off me right now!"

Lady Caine let out a wicked laugh. "I don't think so."

Anna struggled against Lady Caine as she pulled her hands behind her back. She then felt herself being pulled and pressed against the flag pole. She felt Lady Caine place handcuffs on her hands and lock them. Anna sighed in frustration and tried to break herself free.

"It was nice chatting with you, but I gotta run. First, I'll be taking this." She pulled out Anna's sword from her waist and grinned. "Well, ta-ta!"

"Hey! Get back here!" Anna shouted, watching Lady Caine flee the area. "I mean it!" It was pointless.

Anna tried to pull against her handcuffs. It was no use. She would have to pick the locks to break herself free. Still, she wasn't going to give up—she needed to get that map back and find her friends. Anna grunted as she tried to somehow get the cuffs off.

"Stop!" a voice yelled.

Anna paused, peering around the area. That voice didn't sound familiar at all. She almost jumped when she heard frantic screaming not far from her. She peered over to see that the people who were coming out of the church had dispersed, fleeing the area frantically.

Two men with crossbows were racing over towards some barrels. The first one wore skull face paint and the other one wore a gray and teal doublet with a black belt.

"Dammit, Dale!" the first yelled. "You need to quit pretending to be the Giovanni! You can't even do his accent!"

"I can so do it, Skully!" Dale yelled. "If we had taken the other way around, my plan would've worked and we would be at that museum right now! But no, we just had to take that shortcut!"

While Dale and Skully argued and jumped behind the barrels, Anna heard footsteps approaching. She glanced over just in time to see a middle-aged man with a large crossbow race over towards the garden wall. He leaped behind it and crouched down.

When he was about to load his weapon, he caught sight of Anna and his eyes widened. "Princess Anna? Is that you?"

Anna nodded. "How do you know who I am? Who are you?"

"I'm Quirin. I'm from Corona and I am an old friend of your uncle. What are you doing here?"

"It's a long story. Can you help me? I got tricked and ended up here."

Quirin took out a pipette that had some kind of green chemical inside from his pocket and crawled behind the pole. After a minute, Anna felt her handcuffs pop open and heard them fall to the ground. She placed her hands back in front of her.

"Thank you," Anna smiled, rubbing her hands. "How did you do that?"

"My son made that," Quirin answered. "He said that it burns through locks to release them. Now follow me, I have to get you to safety."

"You mean from Lady Caine?" Anna asked. "I'm actually looking for two of her cohorts. Have you seen a man named Puck or Calkins?" She gave him their descriptions.

"Actually, I did see them," Quirin answered. He pointed in the direction that Lady Caine ran off to. "I saw them going that way. I was about to follow them when—"

"Where are you?" Dale yelled. "Let's finish this!"

Anna helped Quirin load his crossbow. "Was it because of those two?"

"Yes," Quirin replied, getting ready to fire his weapon.

"Come with me," Anna said. "You can help me find them!"

Right, when Quirin stood up, a crossbow was aimed towards them but he and Anna ducked for cover in time.

"Just go!" Quirin yelled.

"Are you sure?" Anna asked. A bow aimed towards them and hit one of the bricks in the wall. "I can help you! Just let me—"

"You should go find those two criminals! Take this!" Quirin said. He handed her a long sword. "You need to go now! I'll cover you!"

As soon as Quirin began firing the crossbows at Dale and Skully, Anna jumped up and raced in the direction he'd pointed. While she was running, she glanced over her shoulder at Quirin. She hoped that he would be alright.

Anna almost stumbled when the road suddenly became a hill. She raced down the hill, trying her best not to fall. She felt like she was running a marathon as everything swiftly went past her. She nearly tripped a few times but she was able to stop herself.

A shadow flew over her, and she peered up to see that it was Maui in his hawk form. "Did you see anything?" she asked, racing down.

"Head to the east part of town!" Maui called, pointing in that direction.

"Why?"

"I think that I saw your two pals head that way!

"Alright!" Anna nodded. "I'm on my way!"

As soon as she reached the bottom of the steep, Anna turned east. When she spotted Maui's shadow over her again, she peered up at him.

"How are we going to get help?" she asked, ignoring the bystanders. As much as she wished to ask for help, she knew that it wasn't probable thanks to her costume. "They think that my friends and I are pirates."

"Well, you mortals should've thought about your plan with the pirate costume more carefully," Maui answered. "Now, keep an eye out—they should be around somewhere."

Anna almost jumped when she heard the citizens yelling about a pirate. When she peered at them, she saw that they were racing away from her. After they found the map, they really needed to change out of their costumes.

"I see something!" Maui exclaimed. "Follow me!"

Maui flew further ahead of her and Anna raced behind him. She peered up to see where he was heading and saw that he was flying towards a road. When he neared it, he changed back into his normal self and waited for her to catch up.

As soon as she did, Anna came to a halt and asked, "What about my friends?"

"The horse and the reindeer are trying to find the museum," Maui answered. Anna corrected him by telling him their names. "Whatever. But I have seen the other two. Kristoff saw those two guys that you're looking for and Eugene said that he saw someone named Pocket or something leaving his group."

Anna glanced around the area worriedly. "Have you seen Kristoff and Eugene since then?" Once she saw that there wasn't anyone around, she peered back at Maui. "Did anything else happen?"

"Kristoff told me that a guard almost arrested him because of his costume," Maui explained. Anna's eyes widened. "And Eugene thought that he saw Lady Caine's group split up, but he didn't see Lady Caine, Axel, and the two that have your map."

A series of voices echoed over to them, causing Anna and Maui to peer around looking for the source of the sound.

"Do you recognize any of their voices?" Maui asked.

Anna furrowed her eyebrows and stayed still, allowing the voices to continue. In spite of the voices being so low, she could make out a few of them. "That's Puck and Calkins!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes," Anna answered.

Maui peered down at Mini Maui. "You thinking what I'm thinking buddy?" Mini Maui grinned, pointing his thumb up in the air and then transformed into a hawk. "Coming right up!" Maui peered back at Anna and said, "Okay, follow my lead!"

Maui raised his hook in the air and transformed into a giant hawk. He flew over Anna's head and she grabbed his feet and held on as he flew off the ground. As Maui flew them higher in the air, Anna couldn't help but take in her surroundings. It was so different yet fascinating to see so many buildings below her. When Maui started to dive down towards a rooftop, Anna took one last look at the buildings.

After Maui released her, he flew over to her side and transformed back into his old self. Anna glanced around the rooftop and couldn't have been more amazed. This wasn't all bricks or stone; this was more like an actual courtyard. There was a small garden to her left and the middle was a table with some chairs.

"This is incredible," Anna said in awe. "I've never seen anything like it." She peered over at Maui. "How are we going to—"

Her jaw dropped when she saw that the buildings were so close to each other that the rooftops connected.

"Come on! What are you waiting for?" Maui asked. "We have no time to waste!"

While she followed Maui on the roofs, her eyes widened as she surveyed more of her surroundings. She thought that being up here was high enough, that was nothing compared to the other buildings around her. They were much taller than the ones that she was on. She couldn't even imagine being on something like that.

"Pst!"

Anna came to a halt and noticed that Maui was at the end of the roof where a flag sat, gesturing for her to come over. In the area, there was some rope and a box of fireworks. "What did you see?"

Maui peered at her with a stern frown, bringing his index finger in front of his lips. Afterward, he pointed down and voices were echoing up to them as Anna went over and peered down. In a small alley, Puck and Calkins came to a halt, carrying a large bag.

"Are those the guys you're looking for?" Maui asked. Anna nodded. "Okay, this is what—"

Another man was coming towards them. He was tall and slightly hunched with long, dark hair and wore a dark green outfit. Anna tilted her head in curiosity. Was this their boss? If so, then they needed to act quickly and get the map back.

"Do you know where you need to go?" the man asked.

"Yeah, Pocket," Puck answered. "The boss will be waiting for us. Thanks for the ride." He delved into his pocket and pulled out a small pouch, tossing it. "And here's something for your troubles."

Pocket caught the pouch. "Much obliged."

"Let's finish this, Puck," Calkins said, taking out the map case.

Pocket started to back away from the two guys. "I better get back to Lady Caine. She's probably at the museum by now."

A neighing entered the area, causing them to turn around. Axel entered with something hanging on his back. Anna couldn't tell what it was until she let out a small gasp and she watched him pull Kristoff and Eugene off his back, laying them in front of Pocket, Puck, and Calkins. Kristoff and Eugene were unharmed, but they seemed to be unconscious. A second later, they both moved their heads and lifted themselves from the ground.

"I can't believe that horse used my own frying pan against us!" Eugene groaned.

"Who would've thought that one horse could take out two people?" Kristoff asked, rubbing his head.

Before Eugene and Kristoff could process what was going on, Pocket, Puck, Calkins, and Axel pulled out their swords and pointed at them.

"Well, that's just great," Kristoff sighed, shaking his head.

Eugene let out a nervous chuckle. "Guys, it's been forever!"

"Well, well, well," Pocket grinned. "What do we have here?"

"That's the guy!" Puck pointed. "That's one of those buffoons that tried to take my map from me!"

"No, you stole our win!" Kristoff snapped. "You sat right next to me and cheated! Sven saw you!"

"And is that clumsy idiot with them?" Calkins asked.

Puck's eyes shot over to him. "You mean Goldilocks?"

"She's already been taken care of," Lady Caine's voice declared from behind Pocket, Puck, and Calkins.

"No!" Kristoff yelled. "What did you do to her?"

Pocket, Puck, and Calkins turned with their swords still pointed at Kristoff and Eugene and watched Lady Caine come next to Pocket before sticking out her sword to them as well.

Lady Caine scoffed. "Oh, please! That's what she gets for being too trusting!" She grinned at Eugene. "Hello, Fitzherbert. Did you miss me?"

Pocket peered over to Kristoff. "Is that one of the people that fought you back in Delitpen?" Lady Caine nodded, rolling her eyes. "Then Maximus and that reindeer must be around somewhere."

"We'll take care of them before we deal with these two," Lady Caine declared.

Anna felt a tap on her shoulder. When she turned to Maui, he pointed to the rope and the fireworks. She looked at them and then back to the flagpole. Anna craned in towards Maui.

"Why do we need the fireworks?"

"It'll throw them off," Maui explained. "Maybe we'll bring some guards here or Maximus and Sven if they caught the goons at the museum."

"But wouldn't Puck, Calkins, Lady Caine, and her followers flee the area?" Anna asked. "They'll know that the fireworks could alert people?"

"That's where we'll come in." Maui grinned. Mini Maui wrapped a piece of rope around his waist and tied the other end of the rope around the flagpole. Then he jumped over a ledge and swung over to Lady Caine and her group, attacking them. "Now, get the rope and hand me the fireworks."

As Anna quietly went over to the pile of rope and fireworks, she bit her lip, listening to the conversation down below.

"King Frederic and his little girl must've thought that they were clever having you follow us here," Lady Caine's voice echoed up. "Or was that Princess What's Her Name's plan?" For a moment, there was a brief silence. "What was that?"

Someone must've uttered a comment about her. Anna bent down to the rope and wrapped it around her waist. She picked up the box of fireworks. She let out a breath as she held it up against her chest. She felt her legs wobble but she mangled to move. Why couldn't Maui get the fireworks? What was he doing? She peered up and saw that he was looking down below. He seemed like he was on alert for something.

"Still nothing?" Lady Caine's voice asked in annoyance.

"What should we do with them, Lady Caine?" Pocket asked. Axel neighed shortly after.

As Lady Caine spoke to Pocket, Anna finally reached Maui and handed him the fireworks. When she grabbed the other end of the rope, she peered over at him and asked, "How are you going to set the fireworks off? I don't have any matches with me."

Mini Mai then transformed into a small dragon, flew over the fireworks, and blew fire at them.

"After I set these off, we'll attack," Maui said. "Now tie that and wait for my signal!"

As the voices of Eugene, Kristoff, Lady Caine, and her followers continued to echo up to them, Anna wrapped the other end of the rope around the flagpole. Once she was finished, she slowly stepped onto the edge, looking down at everyone below.

"You guys do what you want with them," Puck began, "Calkins and I will get going."

Calkins reached into his bag and pulled out something. Anna couldn't see what it was but knew that it was the map case. Calkins opened something and slid it onto his hand. "Wait!" He peered down at something and growled. "This isn't the map!"

Pocket froze, turning a gaze towards him with an arched eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"

"The wrong map is in there!" Calkins fumed.

"Let me see," Puck said, stepping towards him. He snatched the map out of Calkins' hand and looked down at it. He peered over at Pocket, holding the map out for him to see. "This isn't the map that I won. And that wasn't even the right map case. Did you know about this?"

"How am I supposed to know?" Pocket snapped.

Lady Caine let out a laugh with a smug expression and took out something from underneath her hat. "Looking for this, boys?"

"You stole our map!" Calkins growled.

Anna's eyes widened. If Lady Caine had the map, then how were they going to get it from her? Anna quickly glanced over her shoulder at Maui. "Maui, she—"

"I know!" Maui said, shortly before he changed into a small dragon.

"I knew that we never should've trusted you!" Calkins growled. He peered over at Pocket. "Were you part of this?! Did you know about this?!"

"Hey, I had nothing to do with this!" Pocket fumed. "She never told me!"

"Do you know what I went through to get that?" Puck fumed. After a second, he glanced over at Kristoff and Eugene. "Shut up!"

"Tough luck!" Lady Caine shrugged. "We should—"

After Maui blew fire at the matches, without thinking, Anna yelled, "Hey!"

"What are you doing?" Maui said, racing away from the fireworks.

Just as everyone down below peered up, Anna leaped off the edge and felt herself plummeting towards the group as her hands clasped onto the rope that held her. The air flew past her while she was coming closer to the ground. Before she could process her thoughts, Axel leaped from the ground towards her with the sword in his mouth. As he grew closer to her, he leaned his head back and towards her. Just as Anna shielded her face, Axel's sword came about ten inches above her and the blade sliced through the rope.

Anna tried to catch the other end of the rope but missed it by several inches. Crackling sounds were made above her followed by some whistling. She peered up to see Maui—who had just transformed into a hawk—fly over the edge and towards them. She caught a glimpse of Kristoff rushing towards her with his arms in the air. However, before he could catch her, Anna plummeted into Lady Caine, causing her to fall to the ground and release the map as Maui followed behind.

"Who the heck is he?" Pocket asked. "Who the heck are you?"

Maui reached the ground and transformed back into his own self. "What are you doing? Get the map!"

"That's Maui!" Pocket exclaimed. Without hesitation, Anna jumped up and raced towards the map. "I thought he was trapped on some island!"

"Who cares?!" Lady Caine yelled. "Just stop them!"

"Oh, you're not getting away with our map!" Calkins yelled.

Right when Anna grabbed the map, she felt someone run into her and fell backward. She peered up to see that she was right across from Eugene who was rubbing his head. Behind him, Kristoff had started fighting Calkins. She heard more cracking and whistling sounds in the air as well as Maui starting to fight Pocket and Axel with his hook.

Puck leaped past Kristoff and Calkins and towards the map case, snatching it right out of Anna's grip. When Puck stood up on his feet, Lady Caine punched him in the face and snatched the map case right out of his hand. She was just about to dart away when Anna grabbed her foot, forcing her to fall to the ground.

Lady Caine turned to Anna with a glare. "Oh, you just picked the wrong person to mess with!"

"You're not the first person I've dealt with," Anna said, trying to climb on top of her so she could get the map. Eugene was just about to help when Puck tried to get to the map. He pulled him back and they started fighting with each other. "You must've never heard of my ex-boyfriend!"

As Anna was trying to get the map, Lady Caine elbowed her in the stomach, yet it didn't stop her. When Kristoff tried to aim towards Calkins, Calkins ducked and rolled under him and towards Lady Caine, taking the map case right out of her hands. Calkins was just about to make a run for it when Maui—who had changed into a hawk—grabbed the map case out of his hands.

"I'll be taking this, thank you very much!" He grinned. Suddenly, a large net swooped over him, trapping him inside.

"Gotcha!" Pocket grinned.

"Maui!" Anna exclaimed. "Let me help!"

She was about to race over when she felt someone holding her back. Anna peered back and saw that she was in Lady Caine's grip. As she tried to struggle against her, Calkins and Puck raced over towards the net Maui was trying to cut so he could escape. However, Eugene and Kristoff grabbed them and started fighting as Axel darted towards Maui.

"Anna!" Kristoff yelled. Without warning, he came up behind Lady Caine and pulled her away from Anna. "Get the map and get out of here!"

"What about you guys?" Anna asked.

"We'll be fine!" Eugene yelled. "Just try to get the map and leave!"

"Hey, kid!" Maui yelled. He threw the map into the air and Anna raced for it. Axel leaped in the air, attempting to grab it, missing by only a few inches. As the map case was just about to fall to the ground, Anna dove towards it and felt it against her chest as she hit the ground. "Get out of here!"

Not even a second later, Anna jumped to her feet and darted out of the area without looking back. She could try to get back to Quirin and he could help her. Maybe they could even find Maximus and Sven and then they could get back to the alleyway to help Eugene, Kristoff, and Maui? Maybe they could even prove to everyone else that Anna and her friends aren't real pirates. She pushed her thoughts away and focused only on running and finding Quirin.

Anna held the map case close to her as she raced further into town. She felt guilty leaving her party behind, but she didn't have a choice. Suddenly, she heard footsteps racing behind her. She peered down at the ground and saw that Lady Caine was coming closer to her.

"You can't outrun me!" Lady Caine shouted. "Come back here!"

Her feet were hurting and she didn't know how much energy she had left, but it wasn't going to stop Anna. She would just have to keep going. While she darted faster with Lady Caine coming closer behind her, Anna scanned the area. People were either backing away or fleeing. So far, there was no sign of Quirin, Maximus, or Sven. Suddenly, her eyes widened when she spotted a large building with a door. People seemed to be coming in and out of it. She raced over towards the building with Lady Caine chasing after her.

When she entered, there were people seated at tables and bars with meals and drinks. She had no time to observe the tavern as she darted towards the stairs.

"A pirate!" a man screamed. "Get her!"

The door slammed open and footsteps raced after Anna. "It's Lady Caine!" a woman yelled.

"Someone get the guards!" someone else shouted.

When Anna raced up the stairs, she pushed tables and chairs behind her in hopes of slowing Lady Caine down. Unfortunately, as Anna glanced over her shoulder, she saw that Lady Caine was jumping over or dodging everything that got in her way.

Lady Caine chuckled evilly. "You can't run from me! Now give me that map or it'll be no more Mrs. Nice Guy!"

After she reached the top of the stairs, she darted further into the room. When Anna glanced away from her, she spotted a door in the corner of the room next to a window that had a view of the country. That must be the door to the roof. Footsteps were coming closer behind her and it was only a matter of time before Lady Caine would catch up with her. If they went to the roof, there wouldn't be anywhere to run and Anna would have to fight her. But she had no other choice. Anna bit her lip and darted towards the door, slamming it open as soon as she reached it.

There were people seated at tables with their meals. There were flowers decorated all over. The people fled from their seats frantically as soon as they saw her. When Anna reached the middle of the roof, she pulled out her sword and held the map case closer to her. She wished that she had more skill with a sword, but it was better than nothing. Besides, she still had a good punch and could try to attack her without the sword. If she could easily punch Hans, then she could fight Lady Caine.

The door burst open and Lady Caine marched over towards her with a grin. Anna stood up straight, clenching the sword in her fist and holding the map case closer to her.

"So you think you've met your match?" Lady Caine mocked. She pulled out two swords from her belt. One of them must've been the sword that she took earlier. "This shouldn't take long."

Anna scoffed. "You're about to make a huge mistake!" She pointed her sword closer to Lady Caine. "Bring it!"

Lady Caine leaped off the ground and into the air, letting out a yell as she lifted her two swords. When she was in midair, she did a front flip before she landed right on her feet in front of Anna. Without warning, she swung her swords towards Anna, but she was just barely able to block, causing her to wobble backward.

"Cute," Lady Caine said, sarcastically.

Anna swung her weapon towards Lady Caine, but she dodged. Lady Caine tried to aim at Anna's head, but Anna dunked. She tried to swing at her legs, but Anna quickly jumped. In the background, there were neighing, braying, and people fighting below them. Lady Caine kicked Anna in the stomach and Anna almost fell to the ground. Anna punched her in the face, almost forcing her to drop one of her weapons.

"Anna!" Quirin yelled.

Anna glanced over her shoulder just in time to see that a thin piece of wood landed on the edge of the roof. On the other side of the wood was Quirin on the next closest roof with an ax in his hand.

"Get over here!" he yelled, shortly before he went in the door.

Anna jumped on the wood and started to head closer to the other roof. It almost reminded her of the plank on The Robin Gallery. However, Lady Caine jumped on the wood with the swords in the air and was coming towards Anna.

"Whoa!" Anna yelled, wobbling to keep her balance.

She peered down to see that over by a tall building, Maximus and Sven were fighting off lackeys from all over. Then Axel darted towards them and began fighting them. The sounds of swords whooshing forced Anna to turn her attention towards Lady Caine.

Maui flew towards her and Anna quickly grabbed the map case. "Maui! Here!" She threw the map case at him and he caught it in his talons. He flew towards the area where Maximus and Sven were.

"You just made a mistake!" Lady Caine hissed.

She swung her sword towards Anna, but she ducked, almost falling. "No, I just made the right call."

Anna's sword hit against Lady Caine's. Lady Caine held onto her weapon, pushing closer to Anna, nearly making her fall backward. She could hear the sound of wood cracking underneath them. Anna pushed herself forward, forcing Lady Caine to drop one of her weapons.

It still didn't stop Lady Caine from trying to attack Anna. They fought each other with swords, each trying to break through with their weapon but getting their attack blocked. Suddenly, more cracking noises were heard and Lady Caine started to fall. However, she grabbed Anna before she had a chance to get to the other roof. Anna let out a scream as she felt herself falling over the wood.

Anna glanced over her shoulder to see that Lady Caine had used her parachute to float towards the ground safely. She peered down to see Quirin threw his ax towards a flag. His weapon sliced through the rope and the flag started to come down towards Anna.

"Grab it!" he yelled.

Anna reached for the flag and snatched it, allowing it to slow her fall. She let out a scream as she swung towards the ground. Right when she saw Lady Caine—who had just landed on the ground safely, she darted over to her screaming and pounced on her.

As Lady Caine struggled to get up, Anna tried to pin her down, but unfortunately, Lady Caine spun around and pushed Anna from her. Before Lady Caine could jump up, Anna punched her in the stomach and sent her back to the ground. Anna picked up her sword and aimed it towards her.

"That'll teach you a lesson!"

"The guards are coming!" a voice yelled.

Lady Caine glared up at her as she rose from the ground. "You just made a big mistake!"

"Nah," Anna laughed.

Suddenly she felt two people grabbing her and her hands were being pressed against her back. She turned around to see that two guards were putting handcuffs on her. Axel came towards Lady Caine, who jumped on him before anyone had a chance to arrest her.

As the guards were taking Anna away, she peered ahead at Lady Caine, who was glaring back at her. Was it because she just defeated her? Was it because she foiled her plans? Was it because of the map? Or all of it?

Anna watched Lady Caine and Axel disappear from view as she felt the guards take her in another direction.

"Nice plan, Eugene!" Kristoff yelled nearby. "Do you see what you've done?!"

"Can we not bring this up again?" Eugene groaned.

Anna abruptly spun around to see that two guards were coming towards them with Eugene and Kristoff both handcuffed. "Guys! Where's Puck and Calkins?"

"They got away!" Kristoff answered. "And I don't know where Pocket is! He probably escaped too! What about Lady Caine?"

"She and Axel just escaped!" Anna answered.

"Where's the map?" Eugene asked.

"I gave it to Maui," Anna answered. "He was coming over to help Maximus and Sven the last time I saw him."

The head guard went over to them with his hands behind his back. "How many others are in your group? Or were you with Lady Caine?"

"We're not pirates!" Anna retorted. "We're just dressed up like them!" Her face fell when she caught the expressions of the guards and anyone nearby. "Okay...I know that sounds bad, but it's the truth!"

"She's telling the truth," Quirin confirmed. Anna spun around to see that he was approaching them. "That King Edmund's son, Eugene Fitzherbert and that's Princess Anna and her boyfriend, Kristoff."

"Quirin!" Eugene exclaimed.

Kristoff spun around to him. "How do you know him?"

"That's Varian's father and he's the leader of Old Corona," Eugene explained. Kristoff nodded his head in realization. "He's also a member of the brotherhood of The Dark Kingdom."

The head guard raised his eyebrow. "Quirin, you've been such a good friend to me for so many years. What makes you think that they are what you've said?"

"When Rapunzel and Eugene came back from Queen Elsa's coronation last year," Quirin began, "she came to Old Corona and showed me and Varian a portrait that she painted of the Queen, Anna, Kristoff, and their friends Olaf and Sven."

"Oh, yes I remember that!" Anna exclaimed.

The head guard peered over at Quirin. From his expression, Anna could tell that he believed Quirin. The head guard then peered back at Anna and her friends before gesturing for the guards to release them. "If you're not real pirates, then why are you dressed like them?"

While Anna explained to Quirin and the guards about their misadventures, she saw that Maximus and Sven were trotting over to them with Maui flying above them. "That's why we had to dress up as pirates."

"Yeah, and I think it was one of the stupidest plans that I've heard any mortal came up with," Maui said, transforming back into himself. Eugene sighed, crossing his arms. "Now here's your—" His eyes widened when he noticed Quirin. "Hey, you're from the brotherhood!"

Anna noticed the mark on Quirin's hand.

"I was," Quirin began. "I'm now the leader of Old Corona. Sometimes, I still help out with the Brotherhood. You must be Maui."

"Do you two know each other?" Eugene asked.

Maui and Quirin both shook their heads.

"I have heard of his history with the brotherhood," Quirin answered. "Your father told me, Eugene."

"You're King Edmund's son?" Maui asked. He quickly bowed down to Eugene. "Your Highness."

"You've met my dad?"

"No, but I've met your ancestors."

"So, how were you involved with the brotherhood?" Anna asked.

"I used to be allied with them," Maui explained. "Until I tried to take the moonstone and they've banned me from the Dark Kingdom ever since. It was right before I stole the heart of Te Fiti."

"I had no idea," Eugene said. "Dad never told me. I wonder if Rapunzel read about it."

"Where is she anyway?" Quirin asked. "Is she with you?"

"No, she's in Arendelle with Elsa," Kristoff answered.

A young guard went over to the head guard. "Captain, half of Lady Caine's crew has been caught. We have seen no sign of the rest." He peered over to Quirin. "And thank you for helping us capture Dale and Skully. We appreciate it."

The head guard then ordered his men to remove the handcuffs from Anna, Kristoff, and Eugene. After the guards left, Maui let out a realization.

"I almost forgot!" he exclaimed. Anna felt something press against her chest and she peered down at it. The map color was black and it felt like metal. In the middle, there was some kind of lock.

"So, what do you say, Maui?" Kristoff asked. "You coming to Bronzadelle with us?"

"I wish that I could go, but I can't," Maui answered. "That reminds me, have any of you seen two teenage boys named Aolani and Luano?" Anna and her friends shook their heads. "I'm trying to find them and I have a...few other things that need to be taken care of. That's why I have to leave now. I'll catch up with you guys later."

"Well, I hope that you find them," Anna answered. "See you around."

Mini Maui waved at her with a smile. After Maui transformed into a hawk and flew away, Quirin stepped towards Anna and her friends. "You're going to Bronzadelle?"

Anna nodded. "Yes."

"You know," Quirin began, "Varian is in Bronzadelle and I was going there to see him. You can come with me if you want."

Anna and her group smiled at him. "Oh, thank you!" she beamed. "Thank you so much!"

While Anna's group followed Quirin, Kristoff and Eugene started a conversation with him, but Anna just looked at the map. Don't worry, Scott. We're on our way. Here we come.
