Hey, guys. This is BD with another installment of 'Cross Our Heart.' Before you read, this story is more drama than my usual works. Be prepared if there are certain topics that will trigger you. Be mindful that there is some vulgarity that may trigger certain groups of people. However, it isn't my intention to show any prejudice but to tell a story. Discretion is strongly advised. In this chapter, Izuku is kidnapped by the Todoroki brothers and will find revelation to why they kidnap him. Meanwhile, Ryuko will receive some clarity about Hisashi. What will happen? Read and see! This is an OOC Izuku x OOC Ochako story. Enjoy!

The static from the radio gave way to Natsuo that were out of range and no longer within the city limits. Signs showing Yokohama and Saitama were on the horizon. No longer they were immersed with local traffic but were nestled in the lines of freight trucks and passenger vans, carrying their loads of deliveries to their next destination.

Natsuo turned off the radio, deciding to focus on the road as this wasn't a leisurely drive. He told Shouto to keep his eyes open in case of highway patrol. Being a weekday night, it was doubtful but they weren't taking any chances. That worried Izuku, making him think that this wasn't Shouto's first time taking orders to watch for the police. It was amazing to the teen when a friend's true colors show in the time of peril.

"Slow down a little," Toya said, his voice now flat and emotionless. Natsuo did as instructed. Toya lowered the window and in his hand was the crushed cell phone that belonged to Izuku. Toya spotted an open field alongside the hallway. Lowering the window more, he tossed Izuku's phone out of the window.

With that loose end tied, he reached for a cigarette from his pocket. Hitting the pack of cigarettes against his hand, he pulled a stick, inserted into his mouth, and lit it with a lighter. For a split second, Izuku took a look into Toya's eyes – nothingness!

"I wouldn't be too concerned about that busted lip or that cut under your eye." Toya said unrepentantly. "That should be the least of your worries."

Blood coated his lip down to his shirt collar. Toya must have punched his face at least three or four times. Even if Izuku could fight back, he was bound in zip ties around his wrists and ankles. He wasn't even playing fair.

"Yeah, we've got him. He was alone. Ochako wasn't with him." Toya was on the phone speaking with Momo. It must have been a burner phone as the phone itself looked cheaply made.

"We roughed him up a bit. He must've forgotten who he was dealing with." By their chuckling and returning witty banters, one would think that they were the best of friends and not commencing a kidnapping followed by a misunderstanding of rumors and lies.

"Yeah, we've changed our minds about that. Well too-lit and God knows what bloke or a potential fink could be watching." What he was referring to was the industrial site he had mentioned to the boys when confronting Izuku. "Where are we? About a few clicks outside of the city heading south. I thought I saw signs showing we were entering Kanagawa."

Izuku could hear Momo talking. He couldn't decipher her words but she sounded joyfully peachy. It was as if she didn't have a care in the world, just like the day she cornered him at school.

He wanted nothing more than to remove himself from this. Why is it the good that suffer and evil reigns? What has he done to warrant this? All he wanted to do was to take responsibility as a man and be a father to his child. Wasn't it too much to ask? Apparently for Momo, it was.

Toya snapped his fingers. "Hey, Moes. Does your mother still have that apple orchard? You know the one where that one time you, me, and some of the fellas?" His cheeks rose, showing a strong tint of red. Izuku wasn't aware nor keen of Momo's family's plethora of properties through the Honshu area.

"I don't care if it is off-season. We ain't planning to pick apples anyway," he commented, smiling leeringly. "I just wanna know that we won't be disturb for the time being." He clicked his tongue. "It isn't too far off the farm-to-market route and police presence is lacking thereof." He slapped his thigh. "I didn't see why I didn't think of it in the first place."

He heard Momo chuckling on the other end. He could only imagine the smug look on her face – laying in bed with the phone on speaker, nestled between her quilt and touching herself to the pleasure of one's pain. "That fucking calloused bitch!"

Auntie Ryuko was right, to be the so-called Queen Bee, Momo was weak. Weak as she didn't even have the guts to be there. Just like a bee, hiding in her honeycomb while the worker bees perform the grunt work. Only the Lord knows what kind of lies she put into their heads to convince them to come after him.

Yet again, one doesn't have to do anything to get on her bad side. Just being oneself is enough to be targeted.

Was that incident so severe that it made her incandescent with rage? What satisfaction would she seek for this so-called vindication? Was that push against the locker so bad to justify this? It should have never started. He should have never stepped foot into the pizza parlor. It could have ended there. He should have wore a condom when having sex with Ochako. It could have ceased there. Maybe Ochako shouldn't have felt so compelled to do the deed out of peer pressure. She should have never become friends with her. He knew he couldn't blame her as he was partially responsible.

He could calculate and formulate all types of circumstances that could have prevented where he was currently standing. The point is – the actions that have taken place became a catalyst for Momo to act on her feelings – revenge!

Toya continued chuckling as he pressed the phone on his shoulder with his chin. "Just say the word and we can make this whole thing disappear." He gripped his pants where his groin is located. "Don't worry, Moes, Toya is gonna make sure that you will feel better after we take care of that thing for you. You know I'm good for it!"

"Aniki's gonna make sure Moes is prepped and reared to go for you, little bro." Natsuo commented, snickering as he pressed Shouto's shoulder.

Shouto didn't say anything. His face continued looking straight at the road. His hands, unclenched and relaxed, unreflexive to the words that were penetrating into his ears.

"Hey, Halfwit!" Natsuo said, flicking Shouto's ear. "You can hear right?"

"Yeah!" He said softly.

"You should be thanking Aniki for helping out your woman," he responded. "Someone's gotta be there to fix this." He snickered as he gripped the steering wheel as he changed lanes. "So, he gets a little off the top. That's the way the game is played, Shouto. You ain't gotta like it, but I dare you to do something about it. Capiche?"

"Yeah…sure!"

"Nothing wrong getting a test drive every now and again. Look at him as being a fuel injector so that your prime engine doesn't mess up." Natsuo said to Shouto.

"Yeah…I get it!"

Izuku could see the empty shell of a man sitting quietly in the passenger seat. With his hands on his lap and his head hung low. He was just a pawn, deprived of purpose and cuckolded without reprieve and remorse.

It was no secret of Momo's infidelity. A rumor mill wasn't needed and she was surely unashamed and unapologetic about it. Maybe in her eyes, having a Todoroki was nothing more than arm candy, an accessory. It would make sense as the passive teen wasn't doing anything to stop or implore to reconsider.

A few minutes later….

Toya concluded the conversation with Momo and placed the phone on his lap. "Ok, boys, we got a venue. Natsuo, drive for about ten, fifteen more minutes. Momo's mom has an apple orchard not that far from the expressway."

"Sure. I know the one," responded Natsuo as he took an exit ramp to another expressway. "I've been with you a few times, remember?"

"Honestly, I can't recall." Toya responded, wearing a confident smirk. "Any hole is a hole when you're draining out the hose." He then reached over and grabbed Shouto's forearm, squeezing it tightly. "I bet otouto here took a lot of notes and got a lot of pointers." He began to snigger. "Shouto, if you want to tame that wild filly of yours, then you need to quit being passive. I am beginning to suspect you were a punk or something."

Shouto remained despondent. If someone were flaunting and taunting his girlfriend's infidelity, then Izuku would be silent himself.

"Bastard is probably sporting jell-o when he is fucking her. That is if he is fucking her. Probably enjoys watching her getting fucked," interjected Natsuo. "Only queers and cuckolds get excited watching another man fucking his girlfriend. Hey, Toya, remember that one time you invited some of your black friends over at that love motel with Moes."

"Hell yeah," answered Toya. "Those spooks were a good time."

"I can't believe we had that filmed," replied Natsuo. "Shouto was a great cameraman, were you, Halfwit?"

"Those spooks had Moes going. She was acting like a monkey, jumping from vine to vine with those dicks of theirs," said Toya. He grabbed Shouto's shoulder tighter. "You're a size queen, Halfwit?"

"Penis envy, for sure!" Natsuo responded. "Maybe some time in juvy can do some good for Shouto. Getting him pumped with some of that spook semen can maybe motivate him…"

Shouto clenched his fist and punched the window. "Shut the fuck up!" He slammed the window again. "I ain't no fucking punk." His voice became soft. "I ain't no damn cuck neither." He looked away from his brothers.

"We were a little harsh," said Natsuo as he ran his fingers through his brother's hair. "Sorry, Shouto. Just kidding. We know Momo is your girl and the entire prefecture's."

Laughter roared between the two brothers as they enjoyed berating their brother at his expense.

"Fuck you bastards." Shouto hit the dashboard with both fists. "Thinking you're high and mighty. You're just as insecure as me, just projecting." He turned around to face Toya. "And what makes you think I won't drop the location where we are taking Izuku. What makes you even think I wouldn't call the cops."

Toya apprehended him about wrapping his arm around his neck. "You better stop telling those lies." He looked at Natsuo. "Pull over at that shoulder."

"What?"

"Pull the fuck over!"

Natsuo did as he was told, cautiously veering onto the shoulder. In case of worried travelers or inquisitive cops, he didn't turn on his emergency lights. He shifted the car into park and turned off the engine. Meanwhile, Toya clenched his arms against Shouto's neck.

"I wish you would, Shouto," said Toya. "Don't you ever in life pull that stunt." Izuku's eyes widened when Toya reached into his pants waist and brandished a weapon.

"Where did that gun come from?" He knew guns were a rarity in this country. Izuku swore that he was carrying brass knuckles or at least a stun gun. In that moment, that was when fear resonated inside of him. The color on his face drained when knowing what Toya and Natsuo were planning to do.

Toya placed the gun against Shouto's temple. "What makes you think I wouldn't blow your God-damn brains out all over the front seat." He pressed it harder. "Huh?"

Shouto couldn't respond. Gurgling noises and digging his nails into Toya's arms were formidable enough to show fear and panic. "Call the police and I will kill you, bitch. I will put you in the fucking ground."

"Easy, aniki," retorted Natsuo, laughing nervously. "Shouto was only blowing off steam. He meant no disrespect." He then reached out and took hold of Toya's arm. "It is obvious that we aren't having a good day. C'mon, bro, just let Sh—"

Toya clicked the gun and aimed it in the middle of Natsuo's face.

"What is this?"

"Did I need your approval?"

"No?"

"Ok, then. So, why do I need it now?"

Natsuo continued nervously chuckling. "Take it easy with that, man. Don't shoot, okay!"

"I have no problem blowing anyone's brains out here."

"I…I know, Toya!"

"I can kill you, that retard beside me…" He jerked his arm further under Shouto's chin. "And this fucking punk right here."

Natsuo's breath began laboring. He slowly reached over and grabbed both his brother's arms. "You wanna lower that barrel some. We're your brother. You are my best friend."

"Yeah, you say so."

Adrenaline was pumping within him. So much so that he hasn't noticed the blood streaming down his arms from Shouto's scratches. He completely ignores his brother's kicking and flailing his legs against the dashboard.

"We're best friends?"

"Yeah." Natsuo answered nervously.

"Yeah…maybe." Toya pulled the gun away and placed it on the seat beside him. He finally let go of Shouto. His brother screamed louder like a whale breaching for air. Shouto opened the car door and began retching. It was followed by sounds of violent vomiting.

Toya turned and looked at Izuku momentarily. His eyes then darted at the gun. Immediately, he grabbed it and placed it on his lap. It wasn't as if he could do anything. He was tied up after all.

Natsuo waited a few more moments until he felt Shouto was finishing vomiting. Toya reached for another cigarette when hearing Shouto closing the door. Without another word spoken, the middle brother put the car in drive and headed back onto the highway.

"Don't cross me again, Shouto," said Toya. "You'd better be lucky that you're my brother. Understand?"

"Yeah…" It was followed by more coughing as he was holding onto his throat.

Natsuo intervened. "Dude, he wasn't gonna narc, man. Do you think he has the balls to snitch? We have too much to lose."

"I am not so sure," retorted Toya. "The bastard must have completely forgotten what I do to snitches." He gripped his hand around the gun. "Make no mistake. I won't be going back to jail again." He hit the butt of the gun against the window, causing it to splinter. "Shouto must have easily forgotten about the last bitch that tried to snitch on me."

"Toya, let's drop it. Nothing went further. Nothing came of it," responded Natsuo.

"Remember, Shouto?" Toya asked condescendingly. "Remember that one bitch? That schoolmate of yours?" He grabbed the ends of Shouto's hair. "What's that bitch's name?"

"..."

"Apparently, you want an instant replay."

"Yui Kodai!"

"Yui Kodai?" What did she have to do with them, Izuku was thinking to himself.

"Do you remember that one time Kodai tried to snitch on me? Wanted to go to the police?" Toya gripped his hair tighter, pulling him back. "Do you? Do you?!"

"Yeah."

"And what happened to the bitch when she threatened me to the police?"

"You and Natsuo and…"

He pulled tighter. "Say it! SAY IT!"

"You raped her," he blurted out. "All of you did!"

"No, I didn't rape anyone!" Toya released his grip. "Yeah…we fucked her. Fine piece of meat, grade A. Not everyday Momo picks up a fine, young piece of meat. A great cumdump! If she didn't want it, she should have never come."

"Hey, man," said Natsuo. "I didn't rape Kodai. She was practically asking to give it to me. She was moaning…eventually!"

"Point is…she got off easily. However, you, not so lucky," said Toya to Shouto. "They will find you in a ditch somewhere. Better yet, we can say that you bringing her to us was your idea. In a way, you did get her drunk."

Shouto's lips were quivering. "You…you…you and Momo."

"Yui saw your face. You brought her over. I didn't put the drugs in her drink," said Toya.

He couldn't take it anymore. Izuku no longer wanted to be in the car with these ruthless guys. Amazing in the times of peril when a leopard shows its stripes.

A few days earlier….

Izuku waited until Auntie Ryuko left when asking Ochako about seeing Yui. Seeing her presence after her prolonged absence intrigued him, wanting to know what caused this. Knowing she and Ochako traveled in the same circles with Momo, he knew that there was some correlation surrounding her departure.

'Yui Kodai was a girl that really kept to herself a lot.' Ochako stepped from behind the kitchen counter with coffee in each hand. A box of chocolate pie sat in front of them while they were watching television. 'I knew she was nicknamed the silent beauty due to her unique features and being a girl of a few words.'

Izuku thanked her for the coffee as he settled it between his lap. Not yet hungry, he soothed any worries with the cup of hazelnut. 'Minoru tells me that in her previous school, she had a fan club in her honor and didn't even realize it.'

'That is what I've also heard,' she responded. 'She was a wallflower. She could be a chair and no one would have noticed. Except those who were pining for her, which wasn't many. She was quite unreachable if you ask me.'

'You don't say.' Izuku responded as he took another cup of coffee. 'How did she become part of your squad? I couldn't picture her being as bitchy as Momo.'

There was a momentary pause. Grabbing a seat and crossing her legs on the couch, she stared at the patio. He was sure that she was probably gathering her thoughts. 'I was naive. I wasn't able to see her cruel intentions.' She grabbed her knees. 'I wanted friends so badly that I've ignored, overlooked…excused much of what Momo did. Looking back now, there were signs.

Her voice faltered, but immediately regained her composure. 'Moes was friendly to Yui. It started small – invited her to sit with us at lunch, hanging out after school, sleepovers, you name it. She was being nice to her, we all were. We made her feel inclusive, getting her out of her shell, getting her to earn our trust.' She chuckled, more in a self-defecated manner. 'Heck, I was so convinced that Moes really wanted Yui to feel like she was special, as if she was accepted.'

He grabbed his coffee cup, lacing it tightly with his fingers. 'And Itsuka?'

'Itsuka took her under her wing since they were classmates. Who was going to question the class president? Whenever we weren't around, they were around each other,' said Ochako. 'Itsuka treated her like a real senpai. They were best friends and a sisterhood grew. Even for a moment I grew jealous of their friendship.' She then cursed under her breath. 'Curse the bitch who can manipulate a person's naivete.

'Yui started dressing differently, talking differently. Her clothes were becoming provocative and she was even addressing boys in a more sultry manner. Nevertheless, she still kept her reservations in front of teachers and still kept some form of modesty unlike the others,' she had said to Izuku. 'It brought attention from the guys because she wasn't really interested in dating. She was still reserved when it came to sex and choosing a lover. But of course, it didn't go without teasing if she was called a lesbian or a nun. Yui believed in being pure. That she confided in me. She wanted to wait until marriage to find the right person. It was a promise she had made to her mom before she passed away from cancer a couple of years back.'

Yui kept class and dignity despite being a bit promiscuous. That would cause a stir with Momo and the others – a jealous one's envy. Izuku knew that a pot was simmering and it wouldn't be long before she and the others would put Yui to the test.

'What happened, Ochako?'

The look on her face showed that she didn't want to exactly answer that question. He could only assume that she was feeling responsible for the events leading to Yui's departure.

'What happened, Ochako?' Izuku asked again.

'It was after the provisional exams. That day after school, we were planning to head over to the drink bar and sing some karaoke,' she had finally said. 'However, Momo told us to lie to our parents so we can go out clubbing. She said she knew somebody that could get us in without ID.'

'I remember that day. You came by my house and played video games,' replied Izuku. 'I could tell you were feeling troubled but I didn't want to bother.'

'I can't lie very well and my Dad would have killed me if he caught me going clubbing,' she said. 'I did what I knew best – I told the truth. Of course, Moes and the others laughed and teased me. Yui was the only one that spoke up and told me that she understood.'

'Did you feel there was tension with Momo and Yui?'

'Yui stood her ground, if that is what you're asking,' she answered. 'Even though she was a woman of few words, she wasn't afraid to defend herself, even if it meant contesting with Momo.'

'Oh, God,' retorted Izuku. 'And knowing Momo, that didn't sit well with her.'

'Like I said, I didn't read the signs. I was a failure at registering tones and reading moods,' she said.

'That could happen to the best of us,' retorted Izuku. 'When you're too good of a person and trying to give people a chance. Or, when you really believe that person is your friend, you give them the benefit of the doubt.'

'Momo is no friend!' She yelled. 'I feel like a fucking fool that I wasn't aware of who she really was: a foul, vindicate, cold and calloused bitch.' She clenched her fists and shoved the plate of pie to the end table. 'I didn't know what happened to Yui until I came to school the next day. We were hanging out on the school roof and noticed the obvious elephant in the room when hanging with the girls.

Yui wasn't going to be a problem anymore was what she said. The girls snickered and proceeded to mock her. I was lost, having no idea what she was talking about. Being me, I had to ask what was going on with Yui. Momo just said that Yui wouldn't be so high and mighty anymore.'

'Hey, kiddos! Your Aunt Shino just dropped off some stuff. Izuku, I would need your assistance.'

Back to the present….

Natsuo was told to make a left to the narrow-laned winding roads of the farm-to-market route. As Momo promised, it was that far from the main highway. Silence filled the car as they held onto whatever they could as it was a bumpy ride.

As the headlights were the guiding lights in the dead of night, fear finally sinked into the emerald-haired teen. What were they really planning to do with him? He knew Toya had a gun and wasn't afraid to use it on his own blood. If he was careless to his brother, then Izuku would be nothing to him.

"Drive a little further. We don't have that much longer." Toya said as he lit another cigarette.

"Ooohhh!" Natsuo said as he whistled. "Now this place looks familiar. Wasn't there a creek nearby?"

"That's where we are going."

"Wait," Shouto said. "We don't need to go there. It's too dangerous at night. We can't see anything."

"Sure we do," said Toya, not trying to hide his smirk. "All the more reason for us to take care of this baggage here." He prodded the gun against Izuku's thigh.

"It hasn't rained in over a month," said Shouto. "The water is too low."

"Oh, I am sorry. When did you become a weatherman?" Toya questioned. "If you want, you can take his place. Would you like that instead, Halfwit?"

"..."

"Yeah, that's what I thought!"

Natsuo cleared his throat. "There is a spot at the creek that is a safe place to jump. Should be at least 20-feet deep."

"Might be safe for you…for him, not so much," replied Toya.

Izuku's voice cracked when hearing those ill-fated words.

Shouto turned around. "You're not serious? Beat him up! That is the only thing you've said you will do. You didn't say anything about–"

Shouto was cut off when a punch landed onto his face.

"Shut up," barked Toya. "I didn't promise you shit! I run this! God, do I have to be in charge of your shit-for-brains?"

"Okay, man," retorted Natsuo. "Even I will have to admit, I wasn't expecting this."

"We wouldn't go out here in the sticks for no reason," said Toya. "Momo wanted this bastard to be taught a lesson. And after a few minutes, he can reflect on that lesson with his maker."

"You're gonna kill me?" Izuku broke the silence. His breath became labored and his heart felt like it was running a marathon. "You're going to kill me? For what I did to Momo?"

Toya just smiled, his eyes showed he was clearly unrepentant. "Well, bud. That is just the way it is. You put yourself in this position and now, you're gonna learn your place!"

"All I did was push her. Whatever she's telling you is a bunch of lies!"

Toya shook his head. "You just don't get it, do you? Do you really think I would come all the way out here just for that?" He began cackling while waving his gun around his space. "Wow, you're really dumber than I thought."

"What are you talking about?"

"You can thank your precious Ochako for this. She is the reason why you're in this mess."

"Ochako?!" Izuku said, feeling startled. "What does Ochako have to do with this?"

"All she had to do was shut the hell up and things would work themselves out," replied Toya. "But no, she wanted to play detective. And that she will pay…but first, you!"

Meanwhile….

Mitsuko was sitting at the table sipping coffee and reading the newspaper when she saw Ryuko entering the tavern. She stared at her prodigal daughter as she beelined to her direction.

Knowing her allotted time to read was canceled, she folded the paper and put it to the side. She still remained quiet as Ryuko sat across from her.

"Figured he wouldn't show up." Mitsuko said matter-of-factly as she took another sip of her coffee. "Can't say that it doesn't surprise me."

Ryuko reflexively turned away from her mother. It was honestly the last thing she wanted to hear. Mitsuko grabbed her smokes, hitting the pack against her wrist before pulling a stick with her mouth. "Want one?" She asked.

The blue-eyed replica of Mother Dearest reached for it and put it in her mouth. She stayed put as Mitsuko lit the cigarette. She then did the same for herself.

"Admitting guilt means taking responsibility," said Mitsuko. "And taking responsibility means taking ownership." She took another puff of her cigarette. "Taking ownership will also mean taking accountability, repeating the cycle again and again and again."

"What does that even mean?"

Mitsuko bit into her lip. She looked at an elderly couple who were passing them. She then looked at Ryuko. "Hisashi won't claim ownership because he feels that it isn't his problem." She took another puff. "Why have that monkey on his back? C'mon, Ryuko. People like him go and hide and do these things because they don't want to be judged.

"Rats, roaches, vermin – all of them, burrowing and digging into any hole they could find. And guess what happens when the lights come on, they scamper." She flicked the ashes into the now empty coffee cup. "Ryuko, I was underaged when he and I were having sex. I was still in middle school whereas he was a virgin himself. And when I mean virgin, I mean new wife, new job, new everything. He was forced to settle down."

Ryuko couldn't speak. She knew her mother was young but didn't really register the magnitude of their age difference. Maybe it was out of ignorance, denial, or shame. Who really knew what Ryuko was thinking in her head at this time.

"Hisashi craved young girls like the air he breathed. Of course, his father knew and being a prominent businessman didn't sit well with that," she responded. "An addict is an addict and knowing his desires were literally passing him by everyday…" She chuckled. "It was open season to him and here I was looking like a free lunch."

"Mitsuko."

"Before you say anything, I knew what I was doing," she answered. "Can't say it was a trade I asked for, but according to my Daddies, I was really good at it. Hisashi wanted to have sex and I knew he had money, so therefore, we both got the benefits that we desired.

"To make it a long story short, I can't guarantee you that Hisashi is your father and in your heart, you hope that he isn't your father." Mitsuko took another puff of her cigarette. "I may not be an active parent and sure as hell not the best parent, but would you want someone as a father that craved little girls – like you?"

The color drained from Ryuko's face, turning her a ghostly white. Mitsuko could see her daughter's hands rattling. She slumped down her seat. Mitsuko nodded to herself.

"You are scared. In honesty, I was scared," said Mitsuko. "The thought that that man could be your father despite knowing he'd fucked you and got you pregnant didn't sit right with me or you. I heard what he did to you. He treated you like shit. He treated you like the bottom of his shoes."

Tears were flowing down Ryuko's eyes.

"The first rush feels good and if they feel they can get away the first time, then they are going to do it again, and when the moment they feel they can control a girl, then here comes the abuse," said Mitsuko.

"Is Hisashi is or not my father?" She gripped the end of the table. Tears continued to fall. "That man…that bastard…"

"That letter – the one the boy had," said Mitsuko. "How did he get it?"

Ryuko shuddered, trying her best to keep her composure. "It was on the kitchen counter at his house, crumpled up." She sniffled. "Honestly looking back, I began to suspect…"

The conversation was interrupted when Ryuko heard her phone ring. When seeing the number, she didn't recognize it. She straightened herself and cleared her voice as she answered the phone. "Hello," she said.

"Good evening, this is Officer Watanabe with the Saitama Police Department," said the responder.

Ryuko's eyes widened when hearing those words penetrate her ears.

"Is this Ryuko Tsuchikawa?"

"This is she."

"Ok, ma'am. And are you the guardian of Izuku Midoriya?"

"I am."

"Ok…Ms. Tsuchikawa, there is no greater way to say this but there has been an incident and it involves Izuku Midoriya. I don't know how to say this but he has been…"

To be continued….
