Lori's POV

The days at school flew by in a blur with half the student body asking direct questions about the "physical" aspects of my relationship while the other half whispered about it as I passed in the hallways. Tamaki and Kyoya agreed it best I sit out from helping with the Host Club until things died down, so I spent most afternoons hidden away in a forgotten storage room attached to the music room. Which was fine with me. I was buried in my songwriting to get my feelings of anger, embarrassment, and frustration out.

When our next day off finally arrived, I was surprised when Tamaki knocked on my bedroom door first thing in the morning with a bag filled with books, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sunhat all for me.

"Let's do something fun." He said simply with a big smile on his face.

And that's how we — including all members of the Host Club — ended up at the Otori Group's private resort and pool. Who knew something this tropical could thrive in Tokyo? Upon arrival, the twins grabbed both Haruhi and myself and brought us to a changing room filled with hundreds of swimsuit options and even an assistant to help us pick. While the assistant tried to force a string bikini on poor Haruhi, I quickly selected a cute and simple blue bikini that would cover what needed to be covered but still allow for a nice tan. I changed and slipped on a large unbuttoned button-down cover-up and checked myself out in the mirror. I certainly didn't look like the whore that Henri was trying to make me out to be. I sighed.

"Haruhi," I put on a large smile, interupting the pushy assistant, "What about this one?" It was a cute pink one-piece that was modest and looked comfortable.

"Sure!" She grabbed it quickly from me before the other woman could force another design on her.

When we made our way out of the changing room, Tamaki was standing there holding two outfits for us, mumbling about how it was inappropriate to show so much skin before we were married. I'm sure he was coming from a good place, but there was no way I was going to let any man tell me how to dress. While Haruhi took him up on his offer, I crossed my arms over my chest and glared at him until he backed off and I was able to join the others.

I grabbed a drink with a slice of pineapple in it and flopped down on the lounge chair to apply some sunscreen while everyone played.

"Star-chan!" The twins suddenly appeared on either side of me. "Let us get your back for you!" They took the sunscreen out of my hand and started rubbing it into my shoulders.

"STOP MOLESTING MY SWEET LORI!" Tamaki yelled as soon as he saw them. I had to stop myself from laughing as they teased him.

"You'd rather I get burned, Tamaki?" I asked innocently.

"N–no! Of course not! But these devious twins shouldn't be–"

"Devious!?" They both interrupted him, jokingly offended.

"Here!" I laughed, handing him the sunscreen. "Then you do it!" I turned away from him and pulled my long hair over my shoulder so he could do it himself. There was a very long pause and I could just imagine how red his face was which made me chuckle a little more. As soon as his large hand made contact with my back I felt my skin heat up and the memory of the dream I had a few weeks ago flooded my memory.

"Tono!" One of the twins yelled.

"When you're done feeling up Star-chan, let's play!" The other followed, the pair of them holding up water guns.

"Don't be so childish." Tamaki sighed. One twin moved to me while the other moved to Haruhi, each grasping our hands in theirs.

"I think it's time we get married!" They said in unison to us.

"LIKE HELL!" Tamaki screamed, grabbing a water gun of his own and chasing after the younger boys. I took the opportunity to lie back on the lounge chair and close my eyes for a few minutes. The sun felt good through the glass roof and the sound of my friends playing had an oddly calming effect on me. Tamaki had really built a family for himself with these wonderful friends. I started to doze off despite some commotion and was only brought back to full consciousness when I heard someone yelling.

"A CROCODILE!?" A what now? I sat up and found our group down a member. Hunny was nowhere to be seen while the others were running all over the place until eventually collapsing.

"The crocodile pasture is probably dangerous. And we really should fix the positioning of that lever. Thanks to you all I collected some great data!" Kyoya said from next to me.

"What's happened?" I asked.

"This facility is still under experimentation stage." Kyoya explained.

"And Hunny-sempai was washed away because of it!" The twins said.

So we set off to look for our upperclassman through the tropical jungle until a downpour forced us all into an open-air hut. I watched the group quietly as Tamaki and the twins tried to make a plan, Kyoya called a search party, and Mori and Haruhi headed out on their own. Hunny seemed like a smart enough man, I didn't worry about him much. Especially with Mori on his trail. So I waited.

A few minutes later we heard men screaming and all took off in that direction. When we arrived, we discovered that Mori and Haruhi had found Hunny, along with the "rescue" team Kyoya had called. Apparently, our upperclassmen had taken them out when they attacked.

"Takashi, I praise you for protecting Haruhi! You weren't too lonely without me, right?" Hunny asked Mori.

"Not really." Mori replied in his signature monotone. Hunny jumped on his back and we all headed toward the exit.

"Next time, let's all go to the ocean!" The twins suggested.

"I think that could be fun." Haruhi said.

I couldn't help but agree!
