Chapter 4: New Home

Summer is one of, if not the best season in the year. And that's mainly because there's no school and you get to do whatever you want. No teachers berating you about assignments or homework, no food fights to where you get sent to the principal's office for starting it in the first place, and most of all, you get to relax for a few months.

At least, that's what Ronnie Anne thought.

Ronnie Anne was cooped up inside of her room playing with one of her new games that her mom just recently bought for her, and she's been playing it nonstop.

Despite the fact that she had plenty of summer left before school starts again, she hasn't been able to find a lot to do. Sure, you could argue that she has a big family, and she never gets bored because of that large family. But, you'd be wrong.

Ronnie Anne's family is actually visiting Canada. What is the reason? Ronnie Anne doesn't really know. All she knows is that her mom asked if she wanted to go, and she said no. But since she was concerned for her daughter, she asked Bobby, Ronnie Anne's brother, if he could watch her until they got back home.

So with that in mind, the only people that were in the house was just Bobby and Ronnie Anne.

Ronnie Anne wasn't sure on what Bobby was doing, but she thinks that he's talking to Lori, like he usually does.

"Poor, Boo-Boo-Bear" she mocked.

Ronnie Anne left her room to go throw something in the trash, when she heard a-

Ding dong!

That's odd. Who could possibly be at her door? She ran to the living room clock, which read 6:00 PM. Nobody would show at at this time. Usually one of her friends would come by at 3 or 4, but not 6! She had to find out who it was. So with a touch of her hand, and the sounds of unlocking the door, she opened it up to find none other than...

"Lincoln?" Ronnie Anne questioned.

Hey Ronnie Anne!" Lincoln said.

Ronnie Anne was very confused. Not by the fact that Lincoln was here, but when she peaked behind Lincoln, she didn't see Vanzilla in sight. If Lincoln got here all by himself, then she was impressed. Considering Lincoln's lack of his running capability.

"Where is everyone?" She questioned again.

"Oh yeah..." Lincoln frowned. "That's a long story. May I please tell you by coming inside?"

"Of course!" She replied.

But then Ronnie Anne took noticed of Lincoln's bags. Wait, was he staying here? She had to find out.

"Lincoln, why do you also have bags with you?"

"Heh..heh.." Lincoln chuckled nervously, "Well, that's also a long story."

"Well let's go to my room so we can discuss this." Ronnie Anne said.

"Of course..." Lincoln said. "I just don't know if you're ready for what I'm about to tell you."

The Loud House is not something you would call this house now. Now it felt like The Silent House.

Lynn Sr was still asleep, while every sister was in their separate rooms. Most of them just stayed on their bed, or paced around to kill time. But every sister wished for one thing and one thing only.

They wanted their brother back.

But the question was, how were they gonna do it?

They have no internet, so calling Lincoln was out of the question. They couldn't tell any of their friends, that was out of the question. So what did they all have left. Oh, that's right. It's the one thing that they always do whenever a problem arises or something unexpected happens.

A Sibling Meeting.

Now usually, Sibling Meetings wouldn't be much of a pain to deal with, considering what went on, and how the issue was resolved. But things were gonna be different today.

Now, they can't do a Sibling Meeting today, because their Mom was gonna be home any minute, and they also feared on what she was gonna say. She they all decided it would be tomorrow, after Lynn Sr and Rita went to work. Then, and only then would their plan go into full effect. They just had to deal with their mom first, before anything else can happen.

Lori peered out her door and made a few knocking noises to get everyone's attention.

"Okay guys..." Lori whispered. "Are you all ready for a Sibling Meeting tomorrow."

"Yeah!" They all chanted quietly.

"Okay great!" Lori said. "Now remember, we will start the meeting at 1 PM sharp!"

"Ay Aye Captain!" They all said quietly

Lori rolled her eyes. "Whatever, let's literally do this so we can get our brother back!"

"Yeah" they all said in unison.

Just then they heard their mom pull up in the driveway. This is what they had to face. If they could face their father, then they were sure as ever that they could face their own mother.

That's when Rita opened the door with her house key.

"Kids I'm home! Huh, wonder where you all went?" Rita said to herself.

This is what they prepared for. This time they were a lot less nervous and they put on their game faces. They all at once marched down the stairs in a huff, until they were met face to face with their mother.

"Hey Kids!" Rita said. "Got something to tell me?"

They did. They all did. And they were ready. Just like their father, Lori was the one to speak up.

"Mom!" Lori said.

"Yes dear?" Rita questioned

"We..." Lori was getting a bit nervous considering what happened last time, but she knew it had to be done. "We made Lincoln run away."

"And that's what happened." Lincoln said.

Ronnie Anne was dumbfounded, really dumbfounded. Why? Why would anyone, Lincoln's sisters of all people, do this? It didn't make any sense. Even to Ronnie Anne.

"Lincoln, I feel so sorry for you." Ronnie Anne said with a concern tone in her voice.

"Well, don't be. I had to do what I had to, and I thought you would be my best choice." Lincoln said.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Ronnie Anne was confused on that last part.

Lincoln let out a deep sigh. "I knew from the start that you would be the first person I go to If something like this ever happened. I just didn't know it would be so soon." Lincoln said with a tint of red on both his cheeks.

Ronnie Anne took noticed of this "Hey, is someone blushing?" Ronnie Anne said.

Lincoln, now realizing the matter of this situation, blushed even deeper than he did before.

Ronnie Anne chuckled a bit at Lincoln's flustered face before blushing a little herself in the process.

Both just sat there in silence, with nothing for them to do, besides them taking quick glances at each other every now and then.

"Soooo..." Ronnie Anne said. "Wanna play my newest game?"

"Is it the new Galatic Space Wars game?" Lincoln asked.

"You bet it is! Although, I highly doubt you'll beat me, because I have a higher rank than you." Ronnie Anne teased.

"Yeah, we'll see about that Miss Galactic Girl" Lincoln also teased.

"Oh, now you're gonna get it Lame-o" Ronnie Anne said.

"Bring it on, Santiago!" Lincoln said.

Ronnie Anne and Lincoln played for about a few hours before passing out on the floor.

Bobby opened the door to find Lincoln lying on the floor sleeping, while Ronnie Anne was right next to him sleeping as well.

Bobby smiled to himself before slowing closing the door, leaving Ronnie Anne and Lincoln by themselves, sleeping peacefully.

[A/N: And that makes Chapter 4. Honestly, I had no idea how fun it was gonna be making this chapter. I mean, I had fun with Ronnie Anne and Lincoln's dynamic because I feel like the show didn't explore it enough and I wanted my own take on it. Chapter 5 will be about Rita dealing with Lincoln's moving, but also the sisters trying to bring him back. And of course there will be Lincoln and Ronnie Anne. Well, that's all for today! Have a safe day everyone!
