After experiencing the flashback, I noticed the match had already progressed. Everyone was shouting around me, cheering for their fighters, whom they choose to be the winner. I watched Cole and his opponent going at each other, as if they were in the Owsla combating each other. Cole was gaining ground, especially cornering the opponent. Unfortunately, it didn't last long. His opponent tackled him to a corner and attempting to wrestling him down to the ground.

Throw your uppercut! I heard Emily shouting for her father to throw an uppercut. However, he did the opposite and tackled the opponent to the ground. He began punching him down to keep him there.

At one point, I looked around the audience to see someone that was familiar when I spotted a man among the crowd. He was watching the fight, but unsure who he was sticking which fighter. I kept watching him for minutes. The man turned to look around the crowd, until he spotted me. We stared at each other for minutes, before looking back at the fight. I was able to studied him. He does closely resemble as Jax, from The Special Forces. However, in my mind tells me he may not be the same Jax I know.

The mood of the crowd changed, when the referee stopped the fight. I quickly turned to see, who the winner was. The opponent was raising his fists in the air, for victory, while Cole was being attended to by his daughter. It reveals that Cole have tapped out in defeat, while restrained on the ground. His daughter picked him up and helped him walk out of the cage. Some cheered for the victor, while others were disappoint of the defeated fighter.

I began to head my way towards a bench to wait for Cole and Emily, as the audience began to disperse. When I sat down and waited for them, the same man I spotted from the bleachers came over to me.

"Excuse me." I looked up at the man. "Do you have a moment to chat?"

I nodded. "Sure... do I know you?" I questioned him, as I stood up and the both of us walked around nearby.

The man shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe. I might want to ask the same thing."

"I see. You do remind me of someone I knew."

"Are you by any chance having to be Thomas?" the man asked me.

"Why, yes." I answered, as I looked at him with surprise. "How do you know me?"

"My name is Major Jackson Briggs." he introduced to himself and we both greeted in a handshake.

"Jax?" I asked.

"Yeah, I go by that."

"I'm Private First Class Thomas... now basically Private in the Owsla." I introduced myself.

"Owsla? You're not in the army?" he became confused. "You once served in a foreign army?"

I shook my head. "No sir, I once served in The United States Army... but I no longer serve with them, but in the Owsla back in Watership Down. You remember that I stayed behind, didn't you?"

Jax became confused than ever and shook his head. "I don't remember anything about 'Watership Down'. Or the 'Owsla'." I realized that I'm speaking to a different Jax, unlike the one I encountered back in the rabbit's realm. "However, I do remember hearing stories about you."

"You do? Like what?"

"Well... I heard that your unit was captured. In Afghanistan. Sources say that you were the only one that survived imprisonment by the Taliban." he spoke. "You must have held yourself-"

"No." I interrupted. "Let's just say it's best to not recall anything about my capture. But yes, I could only say I held myself together, along with my unit to the end."

"I understand." he calmly said and decided to let go about my POW days. "So, you're no longer in the army?"

"I was honorably discharged. Now, I'm just back at home." I answered.

"You watching the fights by yourself." he asked me.

"While actually, I'm here to watch my older cousin fight-"

"Cole Young? You're related to Cole Young?" Jax asked another question.

"Yes. He's my cousin, from my mother's side." I answered. "It has been a long time since I seen him. I only remember the times, when my mother flew me up to Illinois to see him and his adopted family."

"So you live with him?"

"Not exactly. My sister, Katie, and I have been staying with him and his family."

He nodded. "And Katie is your sister? You two survived the shooting back at Colorado Springs' army base."

Flashbacks of my encounter with Shang Tsung and his fighters, murdering my family. I blocked out the screams and the voices. "Yes. That is true."

"Kid... I'm..." he placed his hand on my shoulder. "... I'm sorry brother." I accepted the condolence. "Do you happened to see any marking at all that looked like a dragon?"

"You mean something like this?" I lowered my shirt collar to reveal the marking on my left lower shoulder.

He was intrigued. However, he became curious about it too. "What's with the bite mark?"

"I was bitten." I answered. "My sister has one too. On her neck."

"I see." he responded back. "Is it possible that I could meet your cousin?"

By the time he asked me that question, we both saw Cole and Emily were sitting together. The two were having a moment with each other. She placed something on his wrist. Wasn't sure what it was, but it looked like it was a lanyard bracelet. Something that reminded me the scarf I still have. I pulled out the scarf to see Holly's bloodstains were still on it.

Thomas? I woke back up to reality that it was Jax. "Thomas?"

"Oh. Oh. Sorry, yeah sure. I'll walk you up." I than walked him up to have him to meet Cole.

"Cole Young." Jax spoke to my cousin. "The man that took the belt from Eddie Tobias."

"Yeah, that was a long time ago." Cole remembered his glory day of being a champion. "Have we met?"

"No." Jax answered. "However, I did got a good acquaintance of your cousin, Thomas."

"Cole, this is Jax. Major Br-"

"That's alright, kid." he brushed aside of military greeting, but wanting a simple greeting. He and Cole shook each other's hand. "Name's Jax."

"Nice to meet you Jax." Cole greeted back.

"Although, you could have won today, if had you controlled the cage."

Emily turned to her father. "Told you so." I chuckled and shook my head from the remark she made. Even Jax had a good fair chuckle too. However, she was right.

"She's smart."

"Yeah." Cole nodded his head, before looking at me and Emily. "Alright, well, time to go eat, yeah."

"Yes please." I spoke, as I came to join my two cousins to meet up with Allison and Katie.

"One more thing, champ." Jax halted us for a final word with Cole. "That dragon logo you got... I, I dig that man. It's unique, just like your cousin's. Where did you get it from?"

"He was born with it." Emily answered.

"What do you mean?"

"It's a birthmark." Emily answered.

"You serious?"

"C'mon Dad, show him. It's pretty cool." she lightly bumped her father to show Jax the birthmark. Cole took a moment and decided to show Jax his dragon marking.

Jax was intrigued just like how he reacted to my marking. "Well, ain't that something."

Cole nodded, before we began to make our exit from the training center. "Nice chatting with you."

"See you around, Champ." Jax said his goodbye to Cole. I was the last person to leave. "And Thomas?"

"Yes, Jax." I stopped, as I opened the door and turned around to face him.

He became silent, as he kept staring at me. There was something that he wanted to tell me something important, but instead he said... "Take of yourself, kid."

I simply replied back with... "You too, sir." I exited out of the building and closed the door. When I was out of the building... I felt completely frozen. My mind started to burgle, as if I was receiving a vision. I began to hear voices of Jax. It sounded like if he was rescuing us from someone. However, I didn't know who it was that he was protecting us from.

Thomas?

I woke up from the vision. "Thomas, are you alright?"

Lightly shivered, but took some breaths. I was able to give him my assurance that I was fine with a nod. We than walked our way through the town to find a burger joint, where we'll be dining. "Yeah, I'm okay."
