I couldn't stop thinking about my ancestor history, even all the way to the evening. When dinner came, I didn't even took a single bite of my dish. Distraction aside, I continued to gaze at my necklace. As well thinking for clues about how my family ties to that symbol. Everyone was chattering, as they ate while celebrating the successes on today's training. However, my new arcana power has now led me to more questions than just simply rescuing Hazel and the rest of the warren. Holly couldn't help notice myself staring at the necklace. He than came to me and told me to seek for Raiden. I wanted to, but due to the recent days of having to deal with him. It was difficult to approach him, due to my distrust of him.

When everyone departed from the table, I found myself alone and still pondering about the necklace. I found myself than walking at the hall of murals, for any possible connection my arcana or my ancestors. However, there was nothing. Which it raises more questions than answers. When I returned back to the training arena, I continued to look upon the necklace. From what I already knew, there was a Celtic symbol, along with a rabbit attached to it.

The only recollection of it was from Cole's wife. I remember that she bought me the necklace from a store that she and Katie shopped. Through a brief meditation, I try to remember anything from Watership Down, for any clues about the relationships between humans and rabbits. In a instant, I knew that rabbits fear them, because rabbits are preyed upon for hunting. I looked up above the open roof to see the evening sky. Only to be obstructed by the protective shield.

I heard footsteps nearby. Quickly, I turned my head to see Raiden coming down. "I came to congratulate you for finding your arcana." With so much of distrusting him, I simply turned away. He was expecting like this to happen. "I understand what we have put you through is unforgivable. However, I believe it's time we need to put it behind."

I took a deep breath and came out. "For starters, you refused to help my sister remove 'The Dragon Marking' on her skin, mocked me, and at one point you attempted to kill me. Not only that, your finest pupil burned an very important scarf that kept me sane for months to a year. Do you really expect me to easily let this go?!"

He went silent and remembered the last couple of days of how he treated me and Katie. "He hopes that we could move on from this."

I looked back at him. "Did you two have a great conversation?"

"He speaks highly fond of you." Raiden answered. "He appears to be a guardian for you... and your sister."

I nodded. "Before he died... he looked after us. He and his mate, Hyzenthlay." Raiden listened, as he nodded. "When he died, a gapping hole tore me apart for days, until I was able to see him, whenever in need of him."

"Your scarf? It was-"

"Yes. My only way to seek for his guidance. Mostly comfort." I finished. "If he dies this time... I'll never see him again."

Raiden came and sat down. "Have you noticed your necklace had the power within you the entire time?"

I looked at my necklace, before looking back at Raiden. "Meaning?"

"You have unlocked your arcana the entire time."

My eyebrows raised, as if I was dumbfounded. "I have?! Why didn't you tell me this before?!"

"You wouldn't believe me. You just had to find that out for yourself."

I shook my head and couldn't have all this trouble. "Well... I suppose I own you an apology."

"No. I'm the one should be apologizing to you." He apologized. "Especially, what happened between you and Kano. You two encounter each other?"

"Back in Afghanistan, while imprisoned. And what I would assume from Efrafa. Until, my flashback revealed that he's the real Kano that I remembered."

"If you two fought each other again, do you have intentions to kill him?" he asked me.

I started to remember about Sonya's short battle with him, before finding the temple. Too look back, it was probably a good thing, I didn't kill him. "I wouldn't. Besides, I'm hoping to defeat Shang Tsung and free those rabbits' souls. That's the main purpose."

"You know he's too powerful. You may not be able to defeat him that easily." Raiden informed me.

"I fought with him before, I'll be able to do it again." I clenched my fists and than, my necklace glowed. "Holly told me something, that it's hard for me to believe. I have an ancestor, who protected rabbits... is that true?"

Raiden remain silent. However, he realizes since Cole was told about his ancestor past. This time, he would share about what he may know. "Alike to Cole, you apparently carry lineage. Through your grandfather."

"My grandfather?" I couldn't remember in a long time about my grandfather. Perhaps the memory was lost during my captivity.

"Your grandfather was the last person to receive the marking before his passing." Raiden informed me. "Over time, the marking he had was lost over time."

I gathered my thoughts to the night of the warren was being raided. However, I looked back to the moment that I killed Shang Tsung. The marking came upon me. "The marking... I remember I got it from Shang Tsung. After I killed him, the marking appeared on my shoulder where I was bitten." I stopped to think... if Shang Tsung murdered my grandfather also. "Did... did he... did he murder my grandfather?"

"The 'Shang Tsung' you fought, no. The one you have seen, was responsible for the death of your grandfather."

In disbelief, I couldn't believe it. "That can't be! He died of natural causes."

"From what you have seen and told. However, your grandfather was murdered in his deathbed." After Raiden told me this, I went into a trance of grief. Before he passed away and joining the Army, I was close to him when I was young. With no surprise, he enjoyed reading Watership Down, including the film also. It was than he began to tell me stories about humans communicating to rabbits. From what my parents told me, it helped me sleep at night. As well as they were the best moments I had with him.

"So the stories that my grandfather told me... are true."

He nodded. "Your grandfather's ancestor was one of the greatest protector of the rabbits. Angus Ó Conaill. He once led a tribe of warriors and peacekeepers between humans and rabbits. It wasn't until the tribe was raided by soldiers and captured. For those who were captured, most of them were tried as witches and condemned to death. Angus fought back, but only to be killed by an conqueror named Oliver Cromwell or 'Lord Protector'. He was being paid by Shang Tsung to destroy your ancestor's legacy. After Angus' death, his soul wonders as a wolf, searching for revenge. However, the lone survivor was your ancestor's teenage son. He was able to find refuge from another tribe, but a small band of 'Wolfwalkers'."

"Wolfwalkers?" I questioned.

"Your ancestor's neutral, but respected tribe. They have the powers of turning into wolves, as well as protecting them. They were once formal rivals, until they settled for peace."

"In which Angus' son was able to live among the Wolfwalkers." I finished.

Raiden nodded. "The son would marry a Wolfwalker. And later she would conceive to have generations of Angus Ó Conaill. From each generation, the marking was passed down, until it reaches towards your grandfather, before it was lost. Until, the marking found you." In which would explain of the animalities of Rabbit and Wolf. Now I finally realized, how it all began. My grandfather's stories were indeed true. I came from a generation of a tribe leader from 17th century England and Ireland. "I understand the revelation is a shock to you... and I'm sorry." I accepted his apology. "However, it was the right time for you to know, since you found your arcana. I hope you have a pleasant rest, Thomas." He than turned to leave.

"Raiden?" he stopped only to turn back. "Thank you."

He nodded and continued to leave the training arena. I was than left alone. I gazed at my necklace one more time. "I guess this will be more than just about rescuing Hazel and the rest of the warren, but also to hold my ancestor's principles." I said to myself, as I climbed up the steps and leave the arena.

As I was heading for the sleeping chamber, I spotted Kano by himself alone. Not far from the other side of the force field, I something glowing red. The figure started to approach towards Kano, until he stopped at the end of the line, of the field.

Well, well, well. You backstabbing, two-faced ugly motherfucker. The figure spoke to Kano, as if the two know each other. However, it doesn't seem like they're friends. Or they use to be.

"Kabal." Kano greeted his former comrade.

"Hey, Kano." Kabal greeted back. "It's been awhile."

I hid behind a corner, without revealing myself and watched the conversation take place.

"You getting enough sleep, mate?" Kano asked him. "Your eyes are a little redder than usual."

"You've got a big mouth for someone who's standing on the wrong side of the electric fence, tough guy." Kabal rebuttal, as he looked around the force field.

"You're working for the other fella? The wizard."

"Shang Tsung." I whispered to myself.

"Working with him, not for him." Kabal stated. "And trust me, it has its perks."

"Like what?" Kano asked.

"This is fucking tragic. Look at yourself. You used to be someone to fear. You've fallen down a long way since you led The Black Dragon." From what I have listened, Kabal doesn't seem to be pleased about Kano, despite of them working together in The Black Dragon.

"Don't tell me about The Black Dragon. I am The Black Dragon." Kano spoke up.

"Which one's your boss? Let me guess. The blondie?"

At that point, Kano was triggered from that insult. "That mask cutting off your air supply, you dumb prick? I don't take orders from anyone, Kabal."

"Then you're on the wrong side." Kabal informed him. "Fight with us and you could have more money than you know what to do with. Hell, you could turn this old temple into your own casino, if you wanted to."

"What about that down? I thought that place would be a casino." Kano questioned.

My old home warren! My fist begin to tighten, as if I was ready to take down Kano now. However, I calmed myself and continued to listen to their conversation.

"Change of plans." Kabal answered. "Someone else wanted to do something with it."

An anonymous figured was hiding in the shadows, not far from Kabal. His eyes were all in black and his face was full of scars. He was covered in war torn outfit. "Hello once again, Kano."

"Farid."

Farid! He was dead! I killed him back at Watership Down! Unless, he was brought back to life by Shang Tsung.

"The only desire was to destroy the warren. Now... there's a new plan. Efrafa would be on my list. Since they have allied with Watership Down, they too must suffer." Farid spoke.

Kano studied him. "You're torn up around the edges."

"Yes." Farid spoke. "However, like Kabal said, the sorcerer has it's perks."

"Just name your price, then double it, and double it again." Kabal advised Kano. "What are you waiting for, asshole?"

Kano took a minute to think about switching sides. After clearing his throat, he looked back at the two... "So what would I need to do?"

"Find the staff that holds the power of this fucking force field and destroy it! Simple enough?" Kabal gave him instructions.

Kano raised his eyebrows and took a moment to think to himself. He than nodded his head. "Deal." He began to leave.

"And Kano?" Farid stopped him.

"What?" he turned around.

"Be on a look out for Thomas and his sister." he added. "I feel we need to make another reunion. Especially, we have someone whose eager to him as well."

"The sorcerer guy?"

"Yes... and someone else too. It'll be arranged in due time." Farid told him.

Kano just thought of something else too. "Speaking about these two human friends of rabbits, there's a rabbit here with them."

"You can't be fucking serious?!" Kabal questioned with impatience.

"No, no." Farid friendly brushed his comment to aside. "Let our brother talk. Who is it?"

"By the name of 'Holly', some shit. He just came recently, which Thomas and his sister are close with him. What are we going to do about him?"

"Oh no." I whispered and ran from the scene.

I hurried back to the sleeping quarter chambers to see everyone asleep. At the corner, I saw Holly asleep. I hurried to his side. As I attempt to sleep, I heard footsteps coming in. Without peeking or turning to see who it was, I closed my eyes and pretended to fall asleep.

The person just entering the chamber was Kano. I could only know that because, everyone else was asleep. I have to tell everyone that we have a traitor in our mist.

"I know you were listening, pretty boy. You dare to wake everyone, I'll slit your sister's throat." Kano's voice came that opened my eyes.

A threat to murder my sister would make everything more dire. I went back to sleep and hoped the morning comes.

"That's what I figure." he stated.
