As much as in that moment I would've loved to actually disappear and relive that kiss with Isaac, there was way too much crazy shit going on. Jackson was the one who was dead, he killed himself on the field. It obviously caused the biggest panic, and allowed for Stiles and Gerard to disappear.

I'm not stupid enough to be out here thinking that Gerard didn't have a rhyme or reason to anything he was doing but Scott, Isaac, and I were stupid enough to not know anything about what he was doing and how to handle it.

I'm actually extremely tired and this sleuthing back and forth shit is not the wave. But here I go again trying- wait! Hold that thought. My dad is calling me.

"Jocelyn!" His voice boomed over the phone, "Where the hell are you?"

"I'm literally at the game. Where are you?"

He sighed, and I could hear the stress think in his next words, "I need you to get home. This stuff with Allison and Gerard. It's becoming too much."

"The stuff with Gerard, period. I haven't gotten the chance to tell you the half of it."

"Just get home."

I took the opportunity to book it home, literally feeling like I am in some tv show, horror-action movie. I can't even get the romance part down, and it was actually really annoying. Did I try to stop Allison when she was prioritizing her man? So why does her relationship with my grandfather have to stop mine? Ugh!

I actually didn't even get the chance to get into my house- my dad was waiting for me at the damn door. He grabbed me by the arm and gently pulled me to the back of his truck. What the fuck is going on?"

"Jocelyn," He breathed out my name like it was the most relieving thing he had been able to say all day. "I shouldn't have let her go out there and catch those kids."

My dad ran a hand over his face. I had never seen him look so stressed since we moved here. His wrinkles were deeper, the circle under his eyes were darker, and the color and light in his eyes damn near had faded away. It was sobering, and hurt my heart. My dad had been through the most, and had to keep it pushing for his kids. I had to step up for him!

"Allison? She found Erica and Boyd?" I asked. Oddly, my heart dropped when I had to ask the next question, "What did she do?"

"They're tied up in the basement, she called Gerard right away to get him over here. I have no idea what is going on but I can't get her to stop acting like that man's little minion."

"Speaking of little minions; I'm pretty sure, according to Scott, Gerard is controlling Jackson now."

My dad's thin eyes widened and his thick brows furrowed immediately after. "No. Gerard would never control that thing. He would kill it."

"Well he did. He made Jackson kill himself at the game. I had to fight off him and his henchman because he tried to cut Isaac in fucking half!"

"Isaac Lahey? At the school? Why wouldn't Gerard tell me you fought him?" my dad questioned. I shrugged my shoulders, and shook my head simultaneously.

There was a brief moment of silence, no doubt a million scenarios were running through my dad's head. I guess it would just be up to us two. As if he read my mind, my dad looked down at me and smiled grimly.

"I don't know what's going on, none of this makes any sense, but we have the opportunity to choose from right or wrong. Gerard didn't go after you."

"What do you mean?"

"You're too strong minded and hard willed to ever follow behind any one. You are a natural born leader- he knew he could get to Allison just like he got to Kate," My dad explained, grabbing at the sides of my face gently. "You tell me what side you are on? Can you tell which side is good and which side is bad?"

Just then my phone rang. It was Scott. I looked up into my dad's piercing eyes. Of course I knew who was the enemy here. Without a word, I showed him the message from Scott, asking to meet at the hospital. We locked eyes right after. We knew what to do.

Kinda.

My dad took the opportunity to let Erica and Boyd free as I got ready for whatever battle was to come. I loved having the luxury to choose which weapons I would be bringing with me. I had the usual throwing knives on the thigh, gun on the hip, and just to beat Allison at her own game, a bow and arrow.

The car ride to the hospital was silent, my dad was driving fast and focused on the road. I was super tense about what was to come, because I had no idea. I was on some knees heavy, palms sweaty shit.

The moment we pulled into the hospital parking lot, I saw Isaac and Scott dragging a body bag across the asphalt. My dad glanced over at me with a concerned look. I just had to nod my head. I really didn't have faith in them at this point.

Dad pulled up right in front of them, headlights on blast. They stopped, dropping the body and shielding their eyes. Dad and I hopped out of the car. Isaac gave me a once over before turning to my father.

Scott looked up at me, a confused look plastered over his face. "Why would you bring your dad?"

My dad answered for me, "We don't have much in common, Scott. But at the moment we do have a common enemy."

"That's why we're trying to get him out of here," Scott replied through gritted teeth. He looked down at the body bag that Jackson was no doubt inside of.

"I'm not talking about Jackson."

"Gerard," I said for them both. I don't know why they got to do that secretive shit. "We don't have time for this. Get him in the car."

Isaac sat directly behind me in the backseat, while I was in the passenger and only a couple minutes into the car ride, he made sure to sneakily reach his hand forward and touch my thigh. It felt bad to sneak, I won't lie, but I couldn't turn to my dad and be like, 'Dad, I'm going to fuck with a wolf too- fuck Allison, though.' So, fuck it.

"I have to tell you something," Scott broke the silence of the drive, grabbing all of our attention, "Derek is going to meet us at the warehouse. He knows how to save Jackson."

"Derek? Derek that bit my mom Derek?" I switched in the chair so fast to look back at Scott. "Why didn't you say this before?"

"I'm sorry, the last thing I wanted was to make any of you uncomfortable. He's the only way I knew how to save Jackson. But I told you it wasn't anyones fault. I'm sorry, again."

My dad and I shared looks. The emotions and rage in my head wouldn't stop swirling. I didn't really want to see Derek- like at all. I didn't know if I could seriously deal with everything going on and keep my composure.

"Jocelyn, part of having so much responsibility is being able to know when to separate your emotions from your work. Do that now." My dad looked back to the road and didn't say anything else. He was so comfortable with giving me these small lessons and trusting my actions. I have to be even more serious knowing how much faith my dad had in me.

My fathers SUV pulls into a metal works yard, his blazing headlights illuminating the gritty industrial center we were in. I felt so uncomfortable here but none of my feelings even mattered at this moment. I needed to be strong willed for what I was about to face.

We all got out of the car, Scott and Isaac carrying Jackson. As they gently placed him into the pavement, Isaac said, "He stopped moving at least."

My dad and I had matching grimaces as we overlooked the body bag dripping venom. I asked, "Where is Derek?"

Scott turned his head up, I could only guess he was listening for Derek. I followed his eyes to an alley where I barely saw him, running on all fours, hand and feet literally pounding the pavement. It was nice to see him move with such grace and speed, leaping up and flipping back down to his feet. With a low growl, he looked up at us with his eyes flashing red.

Instinctively, I gripped my gun, something I had become all too comfortable with. "Nice entrance, Scooby."

"Derek, I'm here for Jackson, not you. " my dad said, glancing at me and taking a protective step in front of me. Isaac also stood closer by my side than normal. Would he protect me over his alpha?

Derek locked eyes with me, and then looked over at Isaac before saying, "Somehow, I don't find that very comforting."

"Where is Peter and Lydia?" Scott asked roughly. Did he just say Peter? Like dead burned alive Peter?"

I wanted to know too, but Derek didnt even give Scott a second look. He stalked over to where Jackson lay on the ground, and slowly unzipped the body bag. A half snake Jackson was revealed, looking absolutely disgusting encased in his venom, scale going up his face, and sharp reptilian teeth showing even while he slept.

"Okay, hold on a second. You said you knew how to save him," Scott got closer to where Derek loomed over Jackson. I noticed Derek had his claws drawn now like he was going to kill Jackson. I wasn't against that honestly. I kept my hand tight on my gun- I would go after Derek right after.

"We're past that," Derek growled out, "Think about it, Scott. Gerard controls him now. He's made Jackson his personal guard dog. And he put all this in motion so that Jackson could become even bigger and more powerful-"

My dad cut him off, "No one has told me how they know my father is controlling this thing.. My father would never let an animal like this live."

"Of course not." This disembodied voice made the group of us jump, all spinning to find my grandfather. How the fuck are there three wolves here who could not tell he was coming? My grandfather stepped out of the shadows with a smirk growing wide on his wrinkled face, "Something that dangerous, that outof-control... is better off dead."

Just as he finished, Jackson's hand springs up from the body bag, claws digging into Derek's chest. As he spits blood, growling out in agony, a partially transformed Jackson stands, lifting Derek right over his head like he literally weighs nothing. The three of us standing there raced to get out of the way as Derek literally got flung into a steel wall, falling to the floor out cold.

Gerard focused his attention on Scott, "Well done to the last, Scott. Like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him. You just didn't realize you were also bringing Derek to me."

While our attention was on Gerard and Scott, an arrow soared through the air right past. I looked behind me to see Isaac hit in the leg with an arrow- and I knew exactly who it belonged to.

I wasn't even thinking really, when I pulled out my gun and started firing at the cieling where the arrow came from. My actions started a chain event, my dad pulling out his gun to shoot at the Kanima who was jumping around the room. Maybe he thought I was going after Jackson, but I wasn't- I just needed the time to grab my own bow. She didn't want to do this with me.

As I swung open the door, Kanima landed right on top of the SUV. I had to take cover as my dad started firing shots into his car, blowing out the windows as he tried to protect me from the monster. I pulled out the bow and ducked down around the back of the car.

Before my dad could reload, Jackson wrapped his tail around the gun, gripping and throwing the glock across the room. I kept having these fearful moments of coming too close to losing my father and all they did was light a fire under my ass.

I loaded an arrow and shot, then another in a matter of seconds- both hit the Kanima right in his scaly back. It didn't stop him from kicking my father with so much force that he was sent sliding across the floor similar to how Derek did minutes earlier.

I reloaded again, trying to line up my shot on my fast moving target, having to step back as he advanced me, when I heard a low snarl of rage.

Isaac, fully transformed and huffing with fury ran to Jackson, tackling him and engaging in a claw fight. Derek and Scott also let out their own wolfy growls, joining in on the fight. They circled him, each taking their own turn at their monstrous hand to hand combat but it was obvious they were losing.

I see Allison, clad in all black like the bitch was trying to be me or something. She was trying to cut in on the fight to attack one of the wolves. I aimed up at her, carefully releasing an arrow that would fly right by her ear, maybe even knick her.

Her eyes went wide as she looked behind her at the arrow now on the ground, and then they narrowed as she glanced back at me. Just like twins, we both took our own cover and began to aim at each other.

"What are you doing?" She yelled from behind the wall she was at.

"What are you doing? He's controlling Jackson, didn't you hear that? You idiot!"

"To kill Derek," she shouted back. "How could you defend him?"

"How could you defend him? You saw what he did to Kate, where his actions got her. You wanna end up just like her?"

In an impressive and swift action, she changed her course and aimed at the wolves, ignoring all that I just said. She lined her shot and let the arrow fly, but not before I would drop my own bow and prepare a knife in my hand. They collided, the knife hitting her arrow and causing it to fall to the floor.

Allison was enraged when she looked over to me. But me? I was wayy too fascinated with the shit I just pulled off. I am literally that bitch!

I look over to the fight between the monsters now that Allison had slipped out of her hiding spot, and both Derek and Isaac were battling it out with the Kanima. They were losing. Isaac got slashed right across the chest, stumbling back, and I had to forget all about how perfect I was to get up and help him like he did for me.

After letting go of the bow and arrow, I meticulously threw knife after knife that pierced into Jackson's chest. His screeches of pain were music to my ears as I advanced on him, gun now drawn.

"Jocelyn, no!" Isaac shouted from behind me. The next few things I saw felt like they were in slow motion. Allison slipped behind Isaac, using two knives to stab him in his shoulder blades, wrap around and slash him across his chest.

Before I could react, I was lifted in the air and my body went flying. Stings of pain from every direction flooded my body as soon as I landed on some wood pallets. I couldn't even see or hear what was going on because of the ringing in my ears and blurriness from the excruciating pain. At this point, they should just kill that motherfucker.

I started coughing, grogilly getting myself back up to a sitting position. My eyes scanned the room, and locked onto Isaac, who was covering his bleeding wounds, but making his way towards me from the ground- fully human again.

"What are you doing?" Allison's screams brought my attention to the scene before me; The Kanima holding Allison in the air by her neck, while Scott watched helplessly.

"He's doing what he came here to do," Scott answered her question, keeping his eyes trained on Gerard.

"Then you know?" Gerard asked him inquisitively.

"What's he talking about?" Allison choked out, swallowing hard as she struggled against the kanima's hold.

My grandfather doesn't even give her a second glance, saying to Scott, "It was that night outside of the hospital, wasn't it? When I threatened your mother, I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could smell it, couldn't you?"

Isaac had reached, helping me up off the ground and letting me lean into him. He had this knowing look on his face. "He's dying," He said aloud.

A pained grin crossed Gerard's face as he nodded to confirm what Isaac had said. "I am. I have been for a while now. Unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does."

Gerard's gaze falls onto Derek who is still weak on the floor. As he begins to advance, Allison tries to lurch forward, but Gerard gives the slightest nod and the Kanima wraps its hand around her neck, claws pressed against the flesh under her chin.

My dad had gotten up from the floor and was now staring his father down with rage in his eyes. Through gritted teeth he said, "You monster."

A low cackle escaped Gerad's lips, "Not yet."

"What are you doing?" Allison yelled her question, fighting harder against the Kanima. Gerard didn't even have to do anything this time, it's claws tightened even more around her neck, this time causing her to emit a tight gasp for air.

"You're going to kill her!" I tried to get closer, the sisterly instinct was taking over, but Isaac pulled me back when we noticed Jackson tightening his grip even more.

"Well of course! When it comes to survival- I'd kill my own son!" Gerard's voice grew louder and louder with each word, booming in seriousness when he finished. He looked at Scott with a raised brow, "Scott…"

Everyone stood there silent, tensed up, and watching Scott move around the room. Scott walked up to Derek, all slow and defeated.

"Don't. You know he's going to kill me right after," Derek gave a weak protest, but Scott didn't care. "He'll become an Alpha."

"It's true. But I think he knows that already. Don't you, Scott?" Gerard was so happy with how everything had played out, and it was so hard to watch knowing that none of the more than willing people couldn't do anything to stop him.

Scott looks hypnotized, grabbing Derek by his hair and dragging him to Gerard. Derek pleaded with Scott, but he didn't care, and continued to pull Derek over to my grandfather who had his sleeves up- preparing for the bite.

Scott holds Derek in position as Gerard carefully places his arm between the Alpha's teeth. Gerard gives a nod and Scott shoves Derek's head forward, sending his teeth sinking into his skin. As Derek's eyes started glowing a brilliant red, Scott looked over to me with serious but pleading eyes.

I nodded my head slowly, still watching as the Alpha collapsed back, releasing Gerard's arm. He let out an amused laugh, holding up his bloody arm like it was a trophy.

I watch intensly as black blood started to seep over the red, dripping down his forearm onto the floor. Everyone exchanged looks, causing Gerard to stop smiling and observe his own arm. "What? What is this? What did you do?"

He began to cough, black blood appearing all around his lips. He was looking really crazy right now. Scott locked eyes with me once again and started, "Everyone kept telling me Gerard always has a plan. Well... I had a plan too."

"The pills," I said aloud, looking him dead in the eye. Is this what he was talking about? As if he read my mind, Gerard yanked the silver container out of his pocket, lifting a handful of capsules and crushing them in his hand. Black blood was now pouring out of his eyes, nose, and ears.

He gritted his teeth and choked out, "Mountain ash!" He sunk to his knees, threw his head back and on some more demonic shit- actually threw up a fountain of back blood.

I wanted to vomit myself. Everyone in the room wore a grimace watching my grandfather on the floor.

"Jocelyn. Thank you for trusting me," Scott said. Allison, Derek, and my father all looked between the two of us- shock written across all their faces.

"You two?" Derek asked in shock, "Why wouldn't you tell me.."

"You might be an Alpha," Scott answered, "But you're not mine." He took a step towards Gerard as if he was gonna help him up.

Gerard raised his hate filled eyes, scanning the room before screeching, "Kill them! Kill them all!"

The scream must've taken all his energy, because he passed out right after. The kanima hesitated for a second, but then he sprung into action, tossing Allison to the side and spinning to face Scott. Here we go again…

A fight didn't even get to break out though, Stiles blue jeep came crashing into the warehouse, smacking right into Jackson's body. Stiles and Lydia jumped out of the car, observing Jackson's body on the ground. I know damn well that is not what killed him…

Stiles was looking proud for a second, but the Kanima got up with a vengeance, leaping onto the hood and raising its claw with a loud shriek.

"Jackson!" Lydia yelled desperately. Even while flinching, bracing for impact, she was holding up a small object..is that a Key? THAT'S WHAT'S GOING TO SAVE THIS?

Jackson paused, blinking. In a second, he started to transform back into himself slowly. And naked, It was hard not to look at the peepee not gonna lie. I still can't believe that they can shapeshift like that.. I am lowkey jealous.

He takes the key and they lock eyes, sharing a sad moment. Damn even I want to cry at this. Jackson looked around the room, and then stepped away, standing in a vulnerable position as if accepting what was to come.

Derek runs forwards, digging his claws into Jackson's exposed torso. Out of fucking nowhere, Peter ran from the shadows, taking the opportunity to dig his claws into Jackson's other side. The wolves tear back, and Jackson staggers forward, clutching his bleeding stomach.

Lydia runs to grab him, and they fall together, still sharing their sad moment. Isaac wraps an arm around me as we watch, and I lean into him. It felt right and I didn't care what anyone saw.

As a matter of fact, these same people ruined the real moment that Isaac and I deserved with all of their bullshit.

I spun on my heel to face him and stood on my tip toes. He looked nervous, flashing his eyes to the people watching us now, too. I shrugged and put my fingers through his hair, pulling him down a little. His hands found a way to my side and he pulled me closer himself, leaning down.

The kiss was gentle at first, and my heart literally dropped into my coochie… we turned our heads and moved deeper into the kiss, our bodies were pressed up against each other. This felt like such a long time coming, I was almost melting into him.

"AH-EM." My dad stood there, looking in between us two with a big frown.

I couldn't help but laugh. I was going to be doing a lot of explaining.
