We back this prequel story that I haven't updated for a bit while taking a small break from the episode Britanna story. Although I've seen the ending of union x, I doubt I'll put anything related to it in this story, but maybe in the re:route stories.
Chapter 3: obligatory training montage
(Hanzo dorm)
*ZZZZZZZZZZ* Sora snored as he was parically hanging off his hand made hammock he made in the Hanzo dorm, drooling as he slept. Unaware that the ninja girls(Minus Asuka) he had moved in with were standing around around his hammock and wearing animal themed pajamas with the exception of Ikaruga, who wore a pink nightgown while the girls were deciding how to wake the keyblade wielder.
"This is ridiculous. We told him six o'clock sharp, didn't we?" Ikaruga questioned.
"Eh, can't blame him. I've slept in on school days to the point where I came in late." Katsuragi shrugged.
"Wait, I've never seen you arrive late."
"I'm just that good."
"Should we wake him up already?" Yagyu suggested as Sora seemed to snore louder.
"I can handle that." Hibari offered with a smile as she approached the sleeping Sora and poked the side of his head repeatedly. "Hey, it's time to wake up, Sora!"
"Mmp….Five more minutes!" Sora mumbled as he turned away and Ikaruga became impatient.
"Okay, enough playing nice. Yagyu?" Ikaruga requested as the eye patch girl nodded before taking out her battle umbrella and gave Sora's hammock a good whack.
"YEOOOOOWWW!" Sora shouted as the smacked hammock spun around before launching him towards a wall and made impact against it before sliding down head first. "Morning already?"
"You know that it is. We told you already, that you need to be awake bright and early for training." Ikaruga scolded.
"Sorry, I never had to wake up to train with ninjas in the morning." Sora apologized as he picked himself off the ground.
"Maybe, but what if these heartless creatures you speak of broke through the door and attacked you in your sleep?"
"Well, they don't need to open the door, they can just pop up in the middle of the room."
"That's besides my point! A shinobi needs to be alert at all times, and early morning training could really improve your awareness." Ikaruga advised, which Sora took to heart.
"I get that. I guess I have a lot to learn, since letting my guard is what caused me to lose my powers. I just wanted to get some good rest in like I usually do." Sora said.
"Well, I'm sorry about that, but this isn't what you're already used to. The rest of us trained our whole lives to be shinobi, and if you're going to become one of us, you need to be trained the same way."
"I guess that means going hard on me as much as you can, huh?" Sora asked as Ikaruga nodded to answer.
"I think you could do it. You seemed really determined when you showed up at the academy." Hibari said, which seemed to spark Sora's spirit.
"You really think so?"
"Of course she does. When Hibari gives you a complement, you better appreciate it." Yagyu said with a slight threat.
"She's not the only one who thinks you can do this. So does Kiriya sensei, the rest of us and including Asuka too." Ikaruga said.
"It's good to know that you guys and Asuka are in my corner-"
"Even if you are a lazy lounger who is squatting in our care." Ikaruga continued as Sora slumped at the insult.
"Well there goes the encouragement, but you're not the first to call me lazy." Sora said, waving it off considering Riku and Kairi called him a "lazy bum" all the time back on the destiny islands.
"At least you don't let insults get to you which is a good sign, ninja need to have a cool head."
"So you were testing me, again?"
"Of course, you should expect the unexpected from this point on. Now get ready for the day." Ikaruga advised Sora as he nodded in agreement and headed towards the way out of the room, but then turned back.
"You guys aren't gonna attack while I'm getting ready, are you?" Sora asked.
"Don't worry. We don't go that low. If you want the bathroom, it's down the hall to the left." Katsuragi said as Sora left the room and looked at the camera while walking.
"You'd think sleeping in a place that's normally occupied by girls and I'm the only guy here for some reason, and other guys would be jealous to be my place. But living here isn't all that, nothing embarrassing has even happened yet." Sora said towards the audience before arriving at the bathroom and opened the door to discover Asuka with her hair down, and completely naked with her back turned in the shower before turning her head around after hearing the door open.
"Huh? AHHHHH!" Asuka screamed in embarrassment as she covered her body and Immediately, Sora turned away with a blushing face.
"SO SORRY!" Sora apologized as he dashed out of the bathroom and shut the door behind him before turning to the camera again. "Okay, so much for nothing happening yet."
"HAHAHAHAHA! Oh man, I can't believe you fell for that! Hahaha!" Katsuragi laughed after she and the other girls showed up and Sora unamused when he realized he was pranked.
"Here for one day he already peaked on one of us, boys…" Yagyu said.
"Hey! I didn't even know Asuka was in there. And why didn't anyone tell me?!"
"We wanted to see if you had any insight and would realize it. Of course, it was still a prank by Katsu." Ikaruga answered as Sora glared at a smiling Katsuragi.
"So, like what you saw in there?" Katsuragi asked with a pervy smile.
"You are so not turning me into you, Katsu. And if it's a prank war you want, it's a prank war you got!" Sora vowed as he walked away from the scene, and Asuka peeked her head out a moment later.
"How much do you think he saw?" Asuka asked, embarrassed.
Don't know, he wouldn't share any details. The tease." Katsuragi said as Asuka quickly looked at her annoyed.
(Hanzo academy:Ninja room)
"Even with our newest addition, nothing changes. We're going to train like any other day." Kiriya announced as he walked back and forth like a drill sergeant with the hanzo students even lined up like soldiers, while Sora was at the end of the line trying to keep himself awake. "Today, we will do a review of our skills and keep them sharp. I want to make sure no one trips over themselves, is that right, Sora?"
"Huh? Wha?" Sora said as he was stirred out of his half asleep state.
"I'll take that as a yes." Kiriya said, leaving Sora confused as he scratched his head.
"Are you still with us?" Ikaruga asked while giving Sora an annoyed look.
"Sorry, I know I said I'd take training seriously. Starting now, you won't see me messing around anymore!"
"I hope so. We won't go easy on your training, best prepare for the hard times ahead." Kiriya warned before he turned to Asuka. "Asuka, you're the one who found him, so I'm counting on you most of all to make sure he's taking our lessons to heart."
"Uh, yes, sensei!" Asuka responded.
"So I;m being partnered up with Asuka? Sounds like fun, right?" Sora asked as he turned to the ninja girl, only to see that Asuka had turned away to hide her blush. "Is something wrong?"
"How much did you see this morning?" Asuka asked as Sora tried to figure out what she meant, only to quickly realize she was talking about the earlier shower incident.
"Uh, not much if it makes you feel any better!" Sora assured, although the only thing did was cause Asuka to blush an even deeper shade of red. "Oh geez...You also looked good with your hair down." He said which caused Asuka to stop blushing at the unexpected comment.
"You really think so?"
"Ooooohhhh! Sounds like we got ourselves a couple of lovebirds in the house!" Katsuragi teased Asuka as she became embarrassed again and grabbed Katsu by the shirt.
"Please stop, Katsu!" Asuka begged.
"Save the teenage antiacs for later. Let's head to the training grounds." Kiriya announced.
(Training grounds)
After Kiriya announced that training would be held outside the academy, the group left the building and made their way off campus to a far off secluded area in the forest, where a small river flowed between a series of cliffs, connected to a small wooden bridge that amazed Sora by the area's sight.
"This place is amazing, you guys got this place all to yourself?" Sora asked.
"Sure do. Because we're shinobi, we need some place to train in private. And this place is pretty secretive enough to be the right place." Asuka explained.
"So you better go and run your mouth about this place." Ikaruga said.
"Oh, don't worry. I know how to keep secrets, remember? From another world." Sora said to remind Ikaruga that he had his own secrets as well.
"I hope so, there are people who wouldn't let you leave if you'd talked." Kiriya pointed out, which made Sora a little thankful that the ones who took him in were understanding and kind while any other shinobi might've not have taken any chances. As Sora thought to himself, Kiriya then turned to the Hanzo girls. "Alright, ladies. Now that we're here, I think it's time for you to get changed."
"Yes, Sensei!" All the girls said at the same time as they each drew their own individual scrolls like the one Ikaruga used in her spar with Sora, making the keyblade wielder realize what was going on as the girl's scrolls began unraveling.
"Shinobi, transformation!" The girls announced before the scrolls began shining and their clothes began vanishing.
"Not looking!" Sora said as he covered his eyes for a quick moment before noticing the shine had gone away and noticed the girls had gone under some outfit changes like Ikaruga did during Sora's spar with her. Asuka was now wearing a uniform consisting of a yellow vest and white shirt, arm guards and a green plaid skirt but kept her red scarf and a pair of short swords strapped to her waist. Yagyu wore a brown jacket with a short black cape around her shoulders and a red plaid skirt and Hibari wore a pink track suit jacket with the hanzo emblem over a gym outfit while Ikaruga wore the white outfit she fought Sora in while Katsuragi had the littlest change in outfits consider she was still wearing the Hanzo school outfit, expect the shirt was completely unbuttoned to expose her cleavage and lack of a bra.
"So, what do you think?" Asuka asked for the keyblade wielder's option on the girls' outfits.
"You girls look great, cool outfits." Sora complemented.
"Our outfits aren't meant to be cool. They are meant to be reflections of ourselves." Yagyu explained.
"But they can still be pretty cool!" Hibari said.
"So what do you think of mine though?" Katsuragu asked as she made her chest bounce which made Sora blush and turn around.
"Kinda not surprised it's like that. It tells everyone you're a danger to women." Sora said as Katsuragi smiled and gave a thumbs up as if her perversion was a good thing.
"I have to agree with him, Katsuragi." Ikaruga said before noticing Sora was looking at the ground while holding his finger up his chin and deep in thought. "Is something wrong?"
"Huh? Oh no, I was just thinking, your ability to transform reminds of something. You see, my clothes aren't normal, they let me transform myself."
"Really? That's kinda cool!" Asuka said.
"Yup. When I use them, I could either use two keyblades or it powers up my magic. Sometimes both." Sora explained, which caught Kiriya's interest.
"Hmm, interesting. Could you show us now?" Kiriya requested, which made Sora's face become sad.
"I...Can't...I lost that ability along with the rest of my strength after the mark of mastery."
"Have you tried?" Hibari asked.
"Well, I did. But what the heck, I guess I could give it another go." Sora said as he held his hand over his chest and a light began forming over him and his clothes starting turning a reddish color, much to the Hanzo girls amazement, before things went quickly wrong when the light around Sora suddenly began flickering like a broken lightbulb when a force blew Sora back.
"AAAAAHHHH!" Sora screamed as he flew off the cliff and into the river.
"Ah! Sora!" Asuka shouted as she and the other girls rushed over to the side of the cliff to see Sora laid out by the side of the riverbed. "Are you alright?" She shouted down to the keyblade wielder as Sora sat up with a dizzy head.
"Yeah, never better…." Sora groaned as he saw a dozen Donald ducks flying around his head. After regaining his composure, Sora made his way back to the top of the cliffs where Asuka and the others were waiting.
"That could've gone better." Yagyu commented.
"Are you sure you're alright?" Asuka asked.
"Don't worry. I get blown up all the time." Sora said, which made Asuka blink at the comment.
"I don't think that's a good thing."
"So, have plans on how you can fix these powers of yours? Or do you plan on exploding again?" Kiriya asked.
"Well, maybe if I train enough, the powers I lost will come back." Sora guessed.
"That's the best plan you have? You haven't had long to think that up, did you?" Ikaruga questioned.
"Not like I had much time…"
"How much time do you have before you have to go back to fight these organzioner people?" Hibari asked.
"It's Organization XIII, actually. And to be honest, I don't know how much time I have. Xehanort needs thirteen vessels including himself to complete his plans, I would've been the last vessel if it weren't for my friends to save me. So I have to gain my powers back before Xehanort finds his thirteenth. " Sora said as dread came over the shinobi girls.
"So, what happens if he finds the last one?" Katsuragi asked as Sora looked at them with a serious expression.
"A keyblade war…" Sora said as the girls stared at him in stunned silence before Kiriya decided to break the silence.
"I guess we have no time to waste then...time we get training underway. Some basic drills should do it." Kiriya said as Asuka looked confused.
"Just drills? So no ninja arts training?" Asuka asked as Sora became interested.
"What are ninja arts?" Sora asked.
"Ninja arts are what allow us to use powers like our shinobi transformations, or special skills we use in battle." Ikaruga explained.
"Are any of Katsu's involved harassing other girls?"
"Still working on that." Katsuragi admitted.
"No ninja arts training right now because I wanted you to brush up on the more basic skills, especially with Sora joining us. Power won't do any of you any good if your bodies can't support it." Kiriya said as he suddenly whipped out a kunai knife, alerting Sora while the girls simply stepped away from him when Kiriya pointed the knife in the keyblade wielder's direction.
"Whoa! What good is training if there's bodily harm?" Sora questioned the sensei's methods before Kiriya aimed over him and tossed the kunai towards the top of a nearby tree, a very large tree that towered over most of the other nearby trees.
"I want to see who can retrieve the kunai from that tree there first." Kiriya explained as Katsuragi gave a confident smile.
"That's all? I can get it, and I can get without my shirt on if I wanted to." Katsuragi said as she stepped forward, only for Kiriya to stop her as he had a cheeky smile on his face.
"Hold that thought for one moment." Kiriya said as he held up a pair of large weights that made Katsuragi sweatdrop at the heavy looking weights.
"This is starting to look familiar…" Sora said since the method of training seemed similar to how Mulan trained in the chinese army while Kiriya tied a weight to Katsuragi's right arm.
"This represents discipline…" Kiriya said as he held up Katsu's right arm as an example before tying the other weight to her left arm before lifting it up. "And this represents strength. You need both to retrieve the knife."
"Seriously familiar…"
"Do you think Katsu can do it?" Hibari asked.
"Of course I can do it!" Katsuragi said as she approached the tree and looked upwards towards the kunai and realized that the top was a lot further away than she thought. "I hope that I can anyway…" She said to herself before taking a deep breath.
"Ha!" Katsu exclaimed as she leaped at the tree and began her attempt to climb up, only to have her arms fall from the pressure of the weights and fall flat on her rear. After Katusragi's failure, it was Ikaruga's turn, only for her to fail as well.
"Gah!" Ikaruga groaned as she managed to land gracefully despite the weights on her arms while it was Hibari's turn, who didn't last very long as well.
"Kya!" Hibari yelped as she fell before Yagyu managed to run up and catch Hibari before she could fall on her backside while Yagyi stepped up next.
"Gah!" Yagyu groaned as she fell on her back while Asuka was up next.
"Hah!" Asuka yelped as she herself fell and failed while Sora was the last to try.
"Ahh!" Sora yelled as he fell the hardest of all onto his back as the hanzo girls winced at his failure before they rushed over to help Sora up as he tossed off the weights and rubbed his head. "Man, this is even harder than it looks. It's a lot harder."
"And you got the farest too…" Asuka said since she and the other girls had all managed to get a few feet up the tree while Sora was able to go at least twice the distance, but had yet to even get halfway up the tree, making Sora wish he could remember how Mulan succeeded in this method of training. As Sora and the hanzo girls brushed themselves off of dirt, Kiriya came in with a barrel full of wooden staffs.
"We're not done yet, children. We have a long way to go." Kiriya said as he grabbed a handful of staffs and tossed them into the air as most of the girls caught them in midair skillfully, while Hibari fumbled to catch a staff while one bumped Sora on the head while he could've sworn that he started to hear captain Shang lee's voice in his head.
" Let's get down to business! To save...the worlds! "
The voice sang in Sora's head as Kiriya used his wooden staff to launch a pair of pots into the air before smashing them with the staff in midair as the pots fell to the earth.
"Ha!" Sora and the girls all exclaimed as they held the wooden staffs out in preparation.
" They did send me a runt? When I asked...for a hero?" The singing continued as the group swung their staffs around like experts while Sora struggled before tripping on the grass and falling flat on his back while accidently smacking Ikaruga in the back of her head with his staff and the back of Asuka's shirt was caught on the staff and was lifted off her body to expose her rainbow striped bra that she tried to cover in her embarrassment while Kiriya marched over to Sora.
" You're the saddest bunch I've ever met. But you can bet...before we're through… " Kiriya himself sang before lifting Sora up with his own wooden staff by his hood and holding the boy's face intimidatingly close to his own. " Mister I'll...make a man...out of you!"
"Ehhh…" Sora gulped in worry before the scene changed to Kiriya tossing a handful of kunai knives at a tree in a straight line that struck the targets painted on the tree perfectly as the hanzo girls also hit theirs targets perfectly while Sora stared at the kunai knife in his hand before taking aim.
" Tranquil as a forest… "
The singing continued as Sora flung the kunai knife, only for it to fly backwards somehow as the keyblade wielder looked back to see that it landed between Kiriya's fingertips while he had a neutral expression on his face.
" But on fire...within! "
As Sora chuckled and rubbed his head, he flinched as Kiriya tossed the kunai near his feet before the scene changed to cliffside where Yagyu had a bucket of water on her head while Katsuragi kicked giant boulders down at her.
" Once you find your center...You are sure...to win! "
The song continued as Yagyu skillfully dodged the boulders from left to right all while keeping the bucket of water on her head before it was Sora's turn as he gulped in worry before Katsuragi kicked another boulder down.
" You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot! And you haven't got a clue!"
Shang lee's voice sang as Sora tried to dodge the boulder, only to trip and have the bucket on his head fall and dosed him with the water as the boulder traveled down at him before Ikaruga jumped in to slice it in half with her sword and both halves rolled harmlessly by as the class rep looked down at Sora who lifted the bucket off his head before smiling sheepishly before the scene changed to a river where Kiriya caught a passing fish with his bare hand while Sora and Hibari looked on.
" Somehow I'll...make a man...out of you! "
The singing went on as Sora and Hibari reached into the river water as Sora felt his grip latch on to something and lifted it up, only to see it was a leg and looked down to see the leg belong to Hibari, who's cheeks were puffed up from holding her breath before Sora helped her out of the water before turning around to see Yagyu, who bumped him on the head with her umbrella for the incident.
" You're never gonna catch your breath. " Ikaruga sang while Sora and Asuka were being assaulted with a hail of arrows as Asuka skillfully dodged the arrows while Sora fumbled to avoid being hit.
" Say goodbye to those who knew you. " Katsuragi sang as Sora ducked under the arrows before feeling like he was caught on something and reached up to realize that an arrow had been caught in his hair before the scene switch to Katsuragi karate chopping a large stone as Sora was in front of his own stone.
" Now you probably feel like a fool for cutting gym. " Yagyu sang as Sora tried to chop the stone block, only to fail and end up holding his hand in pain as it became red and swollen as Katsuragi laughed before the scene changed to Kiriya training the keyblade wielder in hand to hand combat before Kiriya knocked Sora into a tree with a palm strike.
" We might have him scared to death! " Asuka sang as she put a wet towel on Sora's forehead.
" Hope I can make it right though this. " Sora sang before the scene switched to a river where the group made careful steps over logs that stood above the water.
" Maybe you should've waited a half hour before going for a swim. " Hibari sang before Sora began losing his balance on a log before Asuka and Hibari crashed into him and fell into the river together while Ikaruga, Katsuragi and Yagyu watched the scene unfold.
" Be a Man! "
" We must be as swift as a coursing river! " Shang's voice sang as the hanzo girl lit and tossed ninja bombs at dummies that sat in the middle of a field while Sora decided to practice his magic on them and prepared a fire spell.
" Be a man! "
" With all the force of a great typhoon! " The singing continued as Sora launched a fireball from his keyblade at a dummy, which missed by a inch and passed by before hitting and exploding a different nearby target which made the hanzo girls gasp while Sora gulped since the fire spell hit Kiriya sensei instead, who ended up covered in soot while holding a clipboard that he was using to grade the group.
" Be a man! "
" With all the strength of a raging fire! Mysterious as the dark side of...the moon! " Shang's voice sang as the clipboard in Kiriya's hand turned to ash as he stared at the camera with a neutral expression before sighing before the scene switched to a mountain pass as Kiriya and his students were carrying wooden staffs again with buckets of water on both ends as they traveled across the mountain side.
" Time is racing towards us...until the time...to fight!" The singing continued while Yagyu got Kiriya's attention before nudging towards the back of the group where Sora was far behind with his own buckets of water before falling on the ground while Asuka noticed and turned around to assist him and put down her water to assist Sora, only to feel a hand on her shoulder and she and Sora looked up to see Kiriya standing over them before taking both Sora's and Asuka's buckets of water and sling them over his shoulders.
" Heed my every order...and you might...survive! " Kiriya's voice sang as he took off with the water down the mountain path while Sora and Asuka watched before the scene switched the main training area where Sora was on a bench to rest up while Asuka walked over to hand him a bottle of water and sat next to him before Kiriya began walking by.
" You're unsuited for...the rage of war...so pack up, go home, you're though… " Shang's voice echoed in Sora's head as he watched Kiriya walk by and seemed to give the keyblade wielder a look of hopelessness before walking away.
" How could I...make a man...out of you? " The singing continued as Sora began feeling hopeless himself as Asuka tried to comfort him before the keyblade wielder looked over to see the giant tree with the kunai sticking out at the top before getting up and tying the weights to his arms.
"Wish me luck." Sora said to Asuka before jumping into the tree before falling almost immediately thanks to the weights while Asuka went over to assist him, only for Sora to hold his hand to stop her after he got an idea before looking at both weights and wrapping both around the trunk of the tree.
"Be a man! "
" We must be swift as a coursing river!" The singing continued as Sora began taking steps up the tree as Asuka smiled at his progress while the rest of the Hanzo girls walked into the scene and became surprised at what they were seeing.
"Hey, look at that!" Katsuragi pointed out as Sora made it halfway up the giant tree.
" Be a man! "
" With all the force of a great typhoon! "
"Come on, Sora!" Hibari cheered as Sora slipped on the tree before regaining his balance.
" Be a man! "
" With all the strength of a raging fire! "
"Don't disappoint us now!" Ikaruga surprisingly cheered on as well.
"You're almost there!" Yagyu said as Sora got closer to the top of the tree.
" Mysterious as the dark side of...the moon! "
As the girls cheered on Sora, Kiriya walked onto the scene while looking at a clipboard before hearing something land near his feet and looked down to see a kunai knife in the ground before looking up to see Sora at the top of the tree and give a thumbs up to the sensei while the girls cheered for him and Kiriya smiled at the results before the scene switched to Sora launching a kunai at a target and hitting it successfully.
Be a man! "
" We must swift as the coursing river! " The singing went on as the scene returned to the mountain pass where Sora jogged in front of the group while they buckets of water again.
" Be a man! "
" With all the force of a great typhoon !"
The scene then switched to Sora training with Kiriya again as he successfully blocked his jabs and counter with a swift roundhouse kick that knocked down the sensei, causing Kiriya to smile in approval once more before the scene switched to the flowing river where Sora was gracefully crossing the logs with the hanzo girls.
" Be a man! "
" With all the strength of a raging fire! "
The scene then switched to Kiriya tossing the wooden staff to the students as the girls caught the staffs in midair skillfully while Asuka tried to catch one for Sora, only for the keyblade wielder to beat her to the punch as he caught it instead and spun in his hand to show off as he and Asuka smiled at each other as the sun began setting into a night sky with the full moon hanging over head.
" Mysterious as the dark side of...the mooooooooon! "
As the song finished it's last lyric, the hanzo girls were running with fast ninja speed on a trail, with Sora fast behind them with the same speed while the moon shone overhead.
Notice: Sora has learned the ninja run ability. Hold the square button after using dodge roll to run at great speed to cover more distance.
(Campsite)
After a long day of training that seemed to pay off truly well for Sora, the keyblade wielder and the hanzo students made a campfire at the edge of the training field as they sat the fire and used nearby wooden logs as seats.
"Man, what a workout today! You guys train hard." Sora said.
"And you did great today. You were able to catch up with us so fast!" Asuka complemented.
"I know, I can be a fast learner."
"And it's only your first day of training too. Who knows how much progress you can make if you continue." Ikaruga said as she took a sip from a cup of tea she made.
"Yeah, you really did an awesome job today. You'll be a shinobi like the rest of us in no time!" Hibari exclaimed with excitement.
"I know, right? I'm kinda excited to see how this will turn out." Sora agreed.
"Pride is unbecoming of a shinobi. You should keep that in check." Yagyu advised while cooking a squid over the campfire on a stick while Sora rubbed the back of his head at the comment.
"Sorry, I just can't help thinking how cool this all is. Think Kiriya will let me get my own ninja outfit?"
"Maybe he will when you get better then me. If you can, that is." Katsuragi chuckled while Sora found the comment asmusing.
"Oh really? What makes you think I can't?" Sora asked.
"It's not that I think you can't, I just have been a shinobi longer than you."
"So much for Yagyu's advice about pride…" Ikaruga said.
"Well I did manage to pull a fast one on him with Asuka in the shower this morning." Katsuragi reminded the group as Asuka's face became bright red and her head started steaming out of embarrassment.
"Actually, thanks for reminding me, Katsu. Because I just remembered to do this…" Sora said as he reached his hand into a nearby bush to pull on a hidden rope that was connected to a bucket in a tree above Katuragi as it tipped over and spilled a dozen fish on Katsuragi and left one flopping on her and left her dumbfounded. "Told you I'd get payback, and you thank Kiriya for teaching us on how to catch fish in the river."
"...I gotta say...A round of applause for you." Kasturagi said as she clapped her hands to show that she was impressed.
"Hahahahaha!" The rest of the hanzo girls laughed at Sora's prank while Katsuragi took the fish off her head before putting on a stick and roasting it over the campfire.
"Sounds like you're all having fun." Kiriya's voice said as the group looked over to see the sensei approach the small campsite before turning towards Sora. "So, what's your plan now, Sora? More training?"
"Hmmm, well...That seems to be the only thing I can do right now, I probably still need training to get my other powers back. But other than that, the heartless are here, and I don't want to leave you guys alone with them. I wanna make sure you're all able to fight them before I go anywhere." Sora said as everyone's face became serious while Kiriya had something else to say.
"Actually, I was just about to speak about those creatures. According to reports, they're appearing all over town. No civilians have been attacked yet since I have Daidoji out there handling crowd control." Kiriya said.
"Daidoji's out there? Aw man, I can't believe she got first crack at those monsters before I could!" Katsuragi complained while Sora was confused.
"Who's Daidoji?" Sora asked.
"She's our upperclassman and the strongest student at Hanzo. She's so strong that all five of us together couldn't beat her in a fight." Asuka explained.
"Yikes. She does sound strong."
"And as strong as Daidoji is, she can't be everywhere at once, and a large group of those monsters managed to get away from her. Which brings up the main topic, tomorrow all of you will be going on a mission into town to search for these heartless and eliminate them before they cause damage or take any lives, understood?" Kiriya asked.
"Yes, sensei!" The Hanzo girls said at the same time as Sora and Asuka turned to each other.
"Guess we're gonna work together tomorrow." Sora said.
"I guess we are, I'll show what I can do and then some!"
"Looking forward to it."
(The next day: Sensoji~Shopping district~)
(Music:Traverse in trance)
The next morning after training, Kiriya sent the group out into town for their mission to the Sensoji district, a famous tourist attraction with a 7th century buddist temple that had a large popular crowd in the shopping district just outside the temple's main grounds while Sora's group was standing amidst the crowd as they made their plan to track down the heartless.
"Okay, according to Kiryia sensei's report, Daidoji lost track of those monsters around this area, meaning they could've gone anywhere from here." Ikaruga said before turning to Sora. "Sora, You've fought these so-called heartless before, how does one go about finding them?"
"Well, you don't actually find them, they usually pop in out of nowhere. Still, I'm surprised there's no heartless now, they act on instinct." Sora explained.
"You make it sound like they're wild animals." Yagyu said.
"That couldn't be any further from the truth. The heartless are after people's hearts, so the more people there are, the more likely for the heartless to show up."
"So a busy place like the shopping district here should bring them out, so where are they?" Hibari questioned.
"I betcha Daidoji scared them all into hiding, she's enough of a badass to turn a bunch of monsters into pussies." Katsuragi stated.
"You might actually have a point there, if Daidoji decamated enough of their numbers, they might've gone into hiding to regather their numbers, the main issue is finding where they might be hiding out." Ikaruga said.
"How about in there?" Sora's voice said as the girls turned around to see the keyblade wielder near the entrance to Sensoji temple's main grounds. "That temple is pretty big, so there has to be a lot of people, right?"
"That's a good guess, Sora. But I don't think so, look." Asuka said as she pointed to a nearby sign that said, "Under construction" in japanese writing. "The temple is being worked on right now, so the only people in there are probably construction workers."
"They started construction a little while just before you showed up, so I don't think those monsters haven't been near here at all." Yagyu said.
"Well, I'm stumped now. I have no idea where else they could be hiding." Sora said.
"Then I guess we have no choice, we should split up and cover more ground." Ikaruga suggested while the girls and Sora were unsure of the plan.
"Are you sure about that, Ikaruga? From what Sora has told about those monsters, they're really scary!" Hibari said with fear before Yagyu put a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry, Hibari. We've handled the yoma before, so I'll protect you if I have to." Yagyu assured Hibari as she put on a brave smile.
"Hey, if I gotta fight them on my own, I'd be more than happy to!" Katsuragi said as she cracked her knuckles while Sora put thought into Ikaruga's idea.
"Actually...I think we should split up." Sora said as everyone seemed surprised at his decision.
"How come? I thought you were worried about us fighting the heartless." Asuka said.
"I am..but the heartless are scared of the keyblade and they come after me most of the time because of it. So maybe if I'm away from the rest of you girls, they'll come out of hiding."
"That actually seems to be a good idea. But of course we should take precautions by pairing up. Me and Katsuragi will take the north side of town, Yagyu and Hibari will take the east side." Ikaruga said as Hibari happily hugged Yagyu's arm while the eye-patched girl looked away to hide her blush before Ikaruga turned to Sora and Asuka. "Asuka, you should take Sora to the Kabukicho district, it's busy this time of day so there's plenty of potential targets there for these heartless."
"You can count on us!" Sora said as he gave a thumbs up.
"And you can count on us to kick some monster ass!" Katsuragi exclaimed as she, Ikaruga, Yagyu and Hibari walked away from Sora and Asuka, only for the blonde third year to stop and turn around with an awkward smile. "Uh...Hey, just a reminder, but...what do these guys look like?"
"Just look for the monster with scary yellow eyes and the heart emblem they wear, you can't miss them." Sora answered as Katsuragi gave him a thumbs up as a thank you before walking off with Ikaruga.
"So, I guess the two of us now then…" Asuka said as she fiddled with her fingers, secretly liking that she and Sora were alone now.
"Guess it is, this should be fun Asuka."
"C'mon then! We have a mission to accomplish!"
(Amusement park)
After splitting up from the rest of the group, Yagyu and Hibari searched through the local amusement park for any heartless to find, only to have no luck so far as the two girls were eating blue ice cream bars they picked up in their search.
"This is a weird flavor of ice cream, Yagyu. What is it?" Hibari asked.
"I think it was called sea salt or something. Why? Do you not like it?" Yagyu asked.
"Oh no, it's actually pretty delicious! Salty but sweet!" Hibari said, which made Yagyu crack a small smile.
"Glad to hear…"
"Hey. If we can't find anything, can we go on some rides here?" Hibari asked as she walked backwards in front of Yagyu, not paying attention to the path behind her.
"Sorry, Hibari. But we have to stay focused on our mission, no time to play around." Yagyu said as Hibari pouted.
"Aw, I was looking forward to a little fun today…" Hibari complained before bumping into something behind, which felt like a person. "Whoops! Sorry about…" The first year was about to apologize before turning and freezing up with fear as she looked up to see the person she bumped into was a figure wearing a black hood that scared Hibari.
(Music: Strange whispers)
"I, uh...really...sorry?" Hibari said before being pulled away from the figure by Yagyu before the figure silently walked away without a word. "Thanks , Yagyu. That guy was so scary that I couldn't get a word out."
"Something isn't right about that person. We should follow him." Yagyu suggested as Hibari nodded in agreement as they used their shinobi skills to track the hooded figure by blending in with the crowd, making sure the figure didn't spot them whenever he turned his head over in the two girls' direction before heading towards the back of a nearby building, which seemed to have a dead end.
"He went back there…" Hibari pointed out before Yagyu took out her umbrella should they engage in battle with the figure before heading down the alley, and found nothing waiting. "Huh? Where did he go?"
"That is weird. If he was a shinobi then there should be at least some sign that he was here. But I don't see anything." Yagyu said as she looked over the alley for any evidence, but found nothing while an idea popped into Hibari's head.
"Hey, could that have been one of those organizer guys Sora told us about? The ones he was training to fight against?" Hibari guessed.
"He called them Organization Xlll, and you're properly right. If he wasn't a shinobi, then there's a good chance that it was one of the people Sora warned us about."
(Music ends)
"*Chitter chitter*"
"Huh? Hey, Yagyu, did you hear that?" Hibari asked as Yagyu held a hand up to signal her classmate for silence before pointing upwards as they looked up to see strange creatures shaped like bats hanging upside from the edge of a building.
"*Chitter chitter chitter chitter!*" The bat creature screeched as they opened up their wings and revealed their yellow glowing eyes. These bats were heartless known as flutterings.
"Eep! I think we found those heartless, Yagyu!" Hibari yelped as Yagyu held her umbrella ready to fight.
"Stay near me, Hibari!" Yagyu advised as she drew a hidden blade from her parasol and the flutterings descended from their perch to fly down at the first years.
(Downtown)
"Aw, this sucks on ice." Katsuragi complained as she leaned back on a bench while Ikaruga was standing up on the lookout for heartless. "There's nothing going on here and we haven't run into any monsters yet, and I'm super bored."
"Perhaps that's a good thing, Katsu. It means no one is in danger, maybe one of the other groups found them already. Sorry if that doesn't help your boredom." Ikaruga said as Katsuragi snuck up behind her with a pervy smile.
"Maybe a little jug grabbin will snap me out of the boredom!" Katsuragi exclaimed as Ikaruga held her head back to keep the perverted blonde's hands away from her own bust.
"When will you learn some self control?" Ikaruga questioned before something caught her attention which shifted her focus away as Katsuragi was able to slip past Ikaruga's defence and fondled her breasts.
"HA! You slipped up, Ikaruga!" Katsuragi exclaimed as she happily fondled Ikaruga's bust, but was confused when Ikaruga didn't smack over the head with Hien. "Hey, what's up you right now?"
"Shh!" Ikaruga shushed her before pointing over to the street opposite of the two girls where two figures dressed in black hoods both headed into an alley together.
"Those guys are definitely out of the ordinary…"
"I don't like the feeling they're giving me. We should check them out." Ikaruga said as the two girls followed the figures into the alley and took a few turns before finding the two figures and ducked behind a nearby dumpster so Ikaruga and Katsuragi would not be spotted as the black hooded figures were facing each other in a conversation.
(Music: Thirteenth discretion)
"I don't know about you, but I think this is a lost cause. We're never gonna find the place." One of the figures complained with a whiney voice.
"Of course you would give up so easily. You were the laziest member in the original organization." The second figure said as he removed his hood to reveal his appearance of a middle aged man with long platinum blond hair and yellow eyes. "Make me wonder why the others bothered letting you back in the organization."
"HEY! I think I can say the same about you!" The other figure said as he pulled down his own hood to reveal his appearance of a younger man with dirty blond hair with a mullet style and yellow eyes and an annoyed expression. "Why did they let you back in? Just to say you're smarter than everyone?"
"They asked me to return actually, even if just as a reserve member they required my intellect to take some final steps towards their goal. Although I do fail to see how you are required in all this, Demyx."
"Whoa! Hold the press, Vexen! Maybe they thought I was a skilled enough fighter to come back. Sorry if I'm good enough for you to find some ninja's hideout." Demyx said as Ikaruga and Katsuragi turned towards each other, realizing the two organization members were looking for their own hideout.
"You hear that?" Katsuragi whispered.
"Indeed. It seems these two are looking for our hidden base." Ikaruga said as the two girls continued to listen in on the conversation.
"Of course we're having a hard time looking for a hidden shinobi's base of operations. Why in the world would you think it easy to find? Were you expecting a welcome sign?" Vexen asked while Demyx was about to reply, only to stop when he had no answer. "That's what I thought."
"Agg! I can't we got benched only to find a nearly impossible place to find at all. Why are we doing this?" Demyx asked.
"Because, it involves the superiors' plans for this world."
"What? The norts wanna be ninjas?"
"*sigh* No,you fool. If this has anything to do with the other two shinobi academies we've already found, then obtaining their most valuable treasures is our goal!" Vexen said as Ikaruga and Katsuragi silently gasped.
"You don't think…" Katsuragi said.
"Most likey, we should find out more to be certain…" Ikaruga said as she moved her leg to stand up, only to knock over a nearby can, which alerted Vexen and Demyx.
"Ah! It's the boss! We weren't slacking off!" Demyx exclaimed.
"Be quiet!" Vexen said as he summoned a blue spiked shield to his hand in a mist of ice and held it up ready for a fight as he looked around the alley for the source of the noise, only to find nothing before dismissing his shield.
"Huh, guess it must've been an alley cat…" Demyx guessed.
"Still, considering how sneaky the people in this world are, I don't like it. We should carry this conversation elsewhere." Vexen said as he waved his hand and a dark portal appeared next to the two organization members, this portal was known as a corridor of darkness. "Let's go!" He said as the scientist walked into the dark corridor and vanished.
"Fine with me, if it means taking a break I'm all in." Demyx said as he followed Vexen into the portal while Ikaruga and Katsuragi emerged from behind the dumpster and made their way towards the dark corridor, only for it to vanish and left the 3rd years alone in the alley.
(Music ends)
"Well that was something. They were in and out of here faster than most shinobi." Katsuragi noted.
"The power they used to conjure that portal, it was pretty dark. I think it's safe to assume where the heartless are coming from, we should warn Kiriya sensei about them and what they might be after." Ikaruga said as she and Katsuragi turned around to see pools of darkness forming around them.
"Those weren't there a minute ago." Katsuragi said as her iron boots appeared on her feet and Hien appeared in Ikaruga's hand as humanoid shadows with blue veins on their bodies climbed out of the darkness pools, these were heartless known as neoshadows.
"Katsu, I think you're about to get that fight you were looking for!" Ikaruga said as the neoshadows jumped at the two girls.
(Neon life district)
While the rest of the group separated towards different ends of town, Sora and Asuka took the kabukicho district where many people were eating at restaurants, the movie theaters or getting off the train station, making it a potential hotspot for the heartless while Sora and Asuka were watching over the main street from a building that overlooked the area.
"It is busy here today, but I don't see any heartless." Sora said.
"I figured we might be here for a while, so I made some futomaki rolls to pass the time." Asuka said as she pulled out a lunch box and opened up its contents of sushi rolls and handed one to Sora.
"Good thinking, Asuka. I couldn't just sit here all day without some food." Sora said as he and Asuka took a bite out of their sushi rolls at the same time, which brought up a question in Sora's mind. "Hey, Asuka. What's it like being the granddaughter of a famous ninja?"
"My family owns a sushi restaurant, so I grew up learning how to make futomaki rolls. Everyone I know loves them."
"Well, a lot of people had really high expectations for me. Although I wasn't all that great in the beginning of my training. I was really clumsy and I couldn't use any ninja arts, my first shinobi transformation was by complete accident."
"I get what you mean. When I first got the keyblade I didn't know what I was doing, I had no idea how it worked or what I was supposed to do with it other than to fight heartless."
"Sounds like you had a lot of pressure on your shoulders too. But I can tell you managed to overcome that little obstacle, I know I did. I learned I have to stop living in my grandfather's shadow and learned how to be a shinobi in my own way." Asuka said as Sora looked forward towards the city.
"You can only be yourself...You know, Asuka,I knew someone like that, his name was Roxas. He was a member of the first organization XIII and could use the keyblade like me, the other members were expecting him to be like me." Sora told the tale of the first organization's thirteenth member, and his nobody, Roxas.
"So, what did he do?" Asuka asked.
"Roxas decided to be himself instead, and he got away from the organization. Soon enough, a friend of his did the same too."
"Sounds like he was a pretty good person, just like you. At least that's one thing that Roxas guy took after from you."
"Yeah, it was. You know, I think you'll be a great ninja like your grandpa, Asuka. Maybe even better." Sora said as Asuka blushed at the comment before smiling.
"Thank you, that means a lot." Asuka said before the two heard a strange noise.
"*Clank clank!*
"Huh? Did you hear that?" Sora asked.
"That sounded like armor a little, from behind us." Asuka said as she and Sora stood up and walked over to the otherside of the roof they were standing on to look down into the alley that was opposite of the building and saw a dozen soldier heartless marching down the alley.
"Bingo! We found them!" Sora said as Asuka took out her transformation scroll.
"Time to go to work. Shinobi transform-" Asuka was ready to announce before Sora suddenly stopped her hand.
"Hold up a moment, you shouldn't transform yet. Those are only small fry, I'll take one side, and you take the other to stop them from running again." Sora said as he hopped down the side of the building.
"Well, I guess since you're the expert." Asuka said as she jumped down into the alley as well while the soldiers marched down the alleyway with the main street in sight and people for the heartless to steal hearts from, until they stopped when Sora jumped from above into their path.
(Music: Hand in hand~DDD ver~)
"Sorry guys, but the all you can eat buffet out there is closed!" Sora said as he summoned his keyblade and got into his battle stance which startled the heartless as they quickly turned away to try and escape out the other side of the alley, only for Asuka to jump in the way, blocking their path out.
"I don't think so. Now get ready, because we'll show you a dance cloaked in shadow!" Asuka exclaimed as her twin swords appeared on her waist and drew both blades with one pointed forward and one in a reverse grip before Sora made the first move by jumping at the heartless with wide swings that hit more than one soldier at a time and guarded against a claw swipe from a soldier before countering with a retailing slash while cut down one heartless at a time with her swords while one soldier jumped up into the air behind the girl to lunged at her which Sora quickly noticed.
"Asuka! Look out!" Sora warned as Asuka looked behind her to see the lunging soldier and hopped out of the way and tossed a kunai knife at the heartless and destroyed it. "Thanks for the warning."
"Sure thing. Whoa!" Sora said as he blocked a claw swipe from a soldier before knocking it back into a clutter of more heartless before pointing his keyblade into the air. "Thunder!" He exclaimed as bolts of thunder struck the group of heartless and destroyed them in sparks of electricity.
"Nice shot!" Asuka said before a new heartless suddenly appeared behind her, it had a similar appearance to the soldier heartless but was larger in size with a large belly and had chains on its arms, this heartless was known as a large body. "Ha!" The 2nd year exclaimed as she turned around and swung both her swords at the large body, only for her weapons to bounce harmlessly off the heartless' large belly. "What the?"
"Asuka, get out of the way!" Sora warned as he grabbed Asuka out of the way when the large body brought both it's fists down in an attempt to smash Asuka. "These guys can't be hurt in the front."
"Is the back fair game?" Asuka asked as Sora nodded in response as the 2nd year shinobi dashed forward at the large body as it swung it's arms at her, only for Asuka to jump over the attack and brought her swords down on the large body's back, causing it to stagger before Asuka kicked the heartless forward towards Sora, who held his keyblade like a baseball ball.
"See ya!" Sora exclaimed as he struck the large body with enough force to destroy it in one blow.
"That was pretty awesome!" Asuka said as she sheathed her swords as she jogged over to Sora.
"Sure was. You know, you and me make a pretty good-" Sora said before looking up and seeing a figure jump off a building down at them. "Look out!" The keyblade wielder warned as he pushed Asuka away from him when the figure stabbed the ground between them with their blade, who was revealed to be a heartless that Sora had never seen before. The heartless wore armor that covered it head to toe and was colored silver and cyan and had blades instead of hands, this heartless was known as a zip slasher.
"Oh boy, this guy looks tougher than the others. Sora, how do you fight this one?"
"Beats me. I've never seen this one before." Sora said as the zip slasher stood up and crossed it's blades, singling it was ready for a fight. "Asuka, I think this is a good time to transform now."
"I hear you! Shinobi transformation!" Asuka announced as she took out scroll and it unraveled before her clothes vanished before being replaced by her shinobi outfit and she drew her swords again ready to fight.
"Get him!" Sora announced as he and Asuka charged at the zip slasher at the same time and swung their weapons at the heartless together, only for the zip slasher to block their attacks with it's blades effortlessly and pushed Sora and Asuka away. "Okay, he's as tough as he looks. But how about this? Fire!" He exclaimed as he shot a fireball from the keyblade at the zip slasher, only for the heartless to easily slash the fire spell away before it could hit, but it was all a distraction for Asuka to take advantage of.
"You fell for it!" Asuka exclaimed as she slashed the zip slasher in the back with her swords, causing it to stagger while Sora rushed over.
"Ha!" Sora shouted as he jumped a few feet into the air and delivered a heavy downward slash that knocked the heartless back some feet and caused it to fall over into its back. "Ha! He's not so tough!" He said, prematurely before the zip slasher quickly recovered back onto its feet before it spun around with its blades like a spinning top and then charged forward at Sora with a powerful thrust attack and slammed into him.
"Sora!" Asuka as she watched Sora get knocked to the ground by the zip slasher and became angry. "That's it! It's on now!" She announced as she rushed at the heartless and swung her swords wildy at the zip slasher, forcing it on the defensive as it blocked with it's blades from Asuka's attacks. While Asuka was overwhelming the heartless, Sora recovered from being knocked down and stood up to see the ninja girl trading sword blows with the zip slasher.
"Ah, she shouldn't take on that thing alone." Sora said as he got on his feet and was about to assist Asuka before more heartless suddenly surrounded him, which were new to him like the zip slasher. These heartless reminded the keyblade wielder a lot of the bandit heartless he faced in agrabah, only their wearing samurai armor and kabuto helmets on their heads, these heartless were called swordsmen heartless.
"Hey! Out of my way!" Sora demanded, which fell on deaf ears as one of the swordsmen leaped at him with their sword, which he blocked with his keyblade and pushed the heartless back before dodging out of the way of another heartless' sword and slashed at the creature of darkness. As Sora tried to fight his way out of the mob, Asuka continued exchanging blows with the zip slasher's blades before hitting one of the heartless' arms with her sword and knocking it off balance before she kicked the zip slasher back and then jumped backwards towards a wall and planted her feet on the wall and sheathed both her swords.
"Secret ninja art: Dual slash!" Asuka exclaimed as she dashed forward and drew both her swords in a flying cross slash attack and sliced through the zip slasher, destroying it and releasing the heart that was contained inside of it as Asuka landed on her feet. "Alright! I got him! Did you see that, Sora?" She asked as she turned around, only to see another zip slasher that swung it's blade at her.
(Music ends)
"Ahh!" Asuka yeled as the blade struck her and tore her half her shirt off to reveal the left half of her bra as she was knocked back into the wall and looked up to see the new zip slasher, blacked up a second zip slasher with both their blades pointed at her while Sora looked back away from the heartless he was fighting towards Asuka in trouble.
"Asuka! AHH!" Sora groaned when a swordsman slashed him from behind and knocked him down to the ground, leaving him vulnerable for the heartless as they dogpiled him and began striking while he was down while Asuka maged to catch the scene.
"Oh no, Sora!" Asuka exclaimed before she looked up to see the zip slashers point their blades forward at her and were ready to strike. But before the heartless could do anything, the sound of glass shattering could be heard, stopping the zip slashers in place as they and Asuka looked over to where Sora was being overwhelming by the swordsmen heartless as a light was starting to build up while the creatures of darkness where continue to attack Sora until the light blasted them away and destroyed them in the process.
"Sora?" Asuka questioned as the light faded to reveal Sora standing, only with his outfit had gone through a drastic change. His jacket sleeves had turned white, along with his gloves with the main body suit had turned red and Sora's shoes had turned completely yellow, which took the keyblade wielder by surprise when he realized he had managed to transform into limit form, a transformation that allowed him to use a variety of his old powers.
"I transformed? Yeah!" Sora exclaimed.
"Sora, look out!" Asuka warned as the keyblade wielder looked forward to see the two zip slashers running towards him.
(Music: Hand to hand~Kh3 ver~)
"Bring it on! Because I'm back now!" Sora said as he got his keyblade ready to fight as the zip slashers brought down theirs upon Sora, only to bring his keyblade up to guard the attacks, and since his guard was much stronger then normal the zip slashers' blades bounced off the keyblade, causing the heartless to stagger before Sora swung his keyblade in a wide arc that struck both heartless and knocked them back into a wall before one zip slasher quickly recovered and lunged at Sora again.
"I don't think so!" Sora exclaimed as he aimed his keyblade at the ground and summoned orbs of light with explosion and the orbs struck the zip slasher when it ran into them, allowing Sora to follow up with a powerful thrust like that of his old ability, guard break, only when Sora struck the zip slasher in the chest with the thrust attack, he decided to follow up with an arcing uppercut that brought the zip slasher above his head. "Eat this!" He announced as he swung his keyblade and a barrier made of pinkish crystalline light struck the zip slasher with ripple drive and did heavy damage to the heartless while Asuka watched in awe at the difference in Sora's power after transforming.
"He's amazing, so this is what Sora can really do!" Asuka said as the other zip slasher jumped into the air to attack Sora from above, which he quickly noticed.
"Bring it!" Sora said as he leaped at the zip slasher and smacked it in the head with his keyblade before performing a midair backwards somersault with hurricane winder to strike the heartless with a vertical moonsault attack that send the zip slasher back to the ground before it recovered and jump together with the other zip slasher at Sora as he recovered on the ground.
"One more for you both!" Sora said as the zip slashers came close enough for him to stomp his foot on the ground and a burst of electricity erupted from the keyblade wielder with stun impact and struck the two zip slasher and caused them to convulse from the wave of electricity before disbursing into particles of darkness and released the captive hearts while limit form wore off and Sora returned to normal.
(Music ends)
"Now that's how you pummel heartless." Sora said as he dismissed his keyblade and Asuka rushed over to him.
"Sora, that was amazing! Was your transformation power you just used?" Asuka asked.
"It sure was. This is a good thing, the training might be working." Sora said before noticing Asuka's torn shirt and remembering the hit she took from the zip slasher. "Hey, are you gonna be alright?"
"I'll be fine. I think I only got a small scratch from being hit, other than that, I'm good."
"Well, if you say so."
"Hey, we should head back and tell the others the good news, both about the heartless and your powers starting to come back." Asuka suggested.
"Great idea, let's go." Sora said as he and Asuka began walking out of the alley, only to feel some rumbling beneath their feet.
"Huh? What's that?"
"Nothing good considering my luck." Sora said as he called back his keyblade and looked at the other end of the alley to see a large hand grip the side of a building and the thing it belonged to turned the corner to reveal itself as a large heartless with a body made of stone and chains on it's arms and head, wielding a large axe with a face on it. This large heartless was known as a rock troll.
"T-that's a big one…" Asuka said, a little scared at the giant approaching heartless before feeling a hand on her shoulder.
"We can take it down together!" Sora assured Asuka as she snapped out of her freight and nodded in agreement as she drew her swords ready for a fight while Sora got back into his battle stance. As the rock troll approached the duo, it raised it's axe up and brought down on Sora and Asuka, only for the weapon to come to a halt by a new figure that suddenly appeared in front of the heartless, stopping the axe with their bare hands. "What the?!"
"D-Daidoji?" Asuka questioned as the one who stopped the heartless was an older woman in her twenties with long black hair and fiery red eyes and wore a cap on her head and a coat with kanji symbols on the back, and had her bosom wrapped in bandages.
"You thought you could run from me, beast?!" Daidoji questioned as she shoved the axe of the rock troll with minimal effort, causing the giant heartless to stumble back from the push before it quickly regained balance and swung it's axe at Daidoji, who quickly vanish in a flash before reappearing and striking the rock troll in the head with a heavy focused punch from her fists, destroying the heartless in one strike with without any effort at all while Sora was completely awestruck at the senior's strength as she landed on her feet. "Pathetic, no wonder they ran from me…"
"T-that's the one who scared away the heartless we just fought? She's crazy strong!" Sora said while in complete disbelief at Daidoji 's strength with the only other person he could think of being that strong with their fists was Tifa, Cloud Strife's friend.
"She sure is strong. Hanzo academy's strongest student for sure." Asuka said as Daidoji turned around and noticed Sora and Asuka.
"Oh, Asuka. Didn't notice you were here." Daidoji said before turning her attention to Sora. "So, I guess this is the boy you let into our hideout by mistake, am I correct?"
"Um, Yeah, that's me. I'm Sora, nice to meet you?" Sora greeted as Daidoji stared at him intimidatingly which caused the keyblade wielder to gulp a little in fear.
"Hmm, I have to admit, you seem to have some potential, but I can see plain as day you are still a cub for someone who's not a shinobi."
"Why is that a big problem?"
"It's actually not, I'm interested in fighting a new kind of opponent when you're eventually strong enough to be a worthy match." Daidoji said as she walked next to Sora and put a strong grip on his shoulder, causing him to wince in pain from her strength before she let go.
"Wait, who said anything about us having a match?" Sora asked as he rubbed his shoulder.
"Kiriya did to test your strength eventually." Daidoji said as Sora's eyes shrunk in fear as Daiodoji walked away from him.
"Uh, don't worry, Sora. I don't think Daidoji will go too far with you...hopefully…" Asuka said.
"I'm gonna need a lot of help if I do…."
"Asuka, I'll continue to patrol for more of those creatures. You and the boy should head back to the academy to rest and report to Kiriya. I'm not done looking for a good fight from at least one of those monsters." Daidoji said as she jumped into the air and vanished out of sight in a blur.
"She's something else, she also seems a little too eager to fight me." Sora said.
"Don't think anything of it, you fighting with Daidoji is a long way off. Now how about we head back to the academy to tell the others what happened here." Asuka suggested.
"Yeah, I guess a break is a good idea. I wonder if anything interesting happened with the others."
(Hanzo ninja room)
"You saw members of the organization?!" Sora exclaimed after Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Yagyu and Hibari reported seeing members of organization XIII before being attacked by the heartless, making the keyblade wielder extremely concerned for the Hanzo girls as they sat around the table in the center of the ninja room while Kiriya stood nearby silent, with a concerned look on his face.
"Sure did, and they were exactly how you described them. Tall, dark, creepy and all wearing the same coat like they're in some sort of cult.." Katsuragi said.
"What happened? Did they notice you guys?"
"The one me and Hibari ran into definitely noticed us. Then we tried to tail him to find out what he was up to, but we lost him before those heartless showed up and attacked us." Yagyu explained.
"The guy in the coat was really scary, and his presence wasn't even human. In fact, I don't think he was…" Hibari said with fear in her voice as she thought back to the organization member staring at her in the darkness of his hood, where she could've sworn she saw orange eyes staring at her while Sora had a hunch about Hibari's description of the organization member she'd encountered, one of the three main counterparts of Xehanort himself. Either it was Ansem, the seeker of darkness and Xehanort's heartless. Xemnas, the original leader of organization XIII and Xehanort's nobody. Or even young Xehanort, a time traveling version of the old keyblade master in the prime of his youth. As Sora decided to put those thoughts aside for the moment, he turned to Ikaruga and Katsuragi to hear their side of the story.
"What about you guys? What did you two find out from the organization member you saw?" Sora asked.
"Actually, we saw two of them, and we managed to eavesdrop on a conversation they were having." Ikaruga said.
"For some reason those guys were looking for our hideout." Katsuragi explained as the others were caught by surprise by the news.
"They were? What's here that they could want?" Sora asked as Ikaruga hesitated to answer.
"We...don't know…" Ikaruga lied since she might've had an idea of what the organization was searching for. As the group fell silent, stumped on what to do for a course of action, Kiriya decided to speak up and change the topic.
"Well, since we got two of a three part story, Asuka, mind telling us what happened with you and Sora?" Kiriya asked as Asuka was caught by surprise.
"Huh? Oh yeah! We ran into Daidoji, but not before fighting the heartless, and during the fight Sora was able to transform." Asuka explained, which caught the others' interest quickly.
"Really? Did he kick some serious ass?" Katsuragi asked.
"He sure did. I didn't think Sora could actually be so powerful, but you had to see it for yourself."
"That's nothing, Asuka. I only just got the power to transform back. I still have other powers I need to get back." Sora said as he thought about his other missing powers, like summoning friends from other worlds, or the full might of his magic.
"You still need to work on your transformation power first. If you shift your focus onto other things too quickly, you'll be weak in other areas." Ikaruga advised Sora as he put some thought into her words.
"You got a point there, Ikaruga. Which is why I wanna have a rematch with you tomorrow." Sora said, which took the class rep by surprise.
"You want to fight again so soon?"
"I mean, why not? I can transform again which should make us even now, plus it'd really help out in my training, my forms get stronger whenever I fight. I also don't want things unfinished between us."
"Sounds like Sora's calling you out, Ikaruga. Are you gonna fight again, or are you afraid that he'll beat you bad?" Katsuragi questioned before Ikaruga karate chopped her in the back of her neck and quickly knocked her out.
"I accept the challenge, Sora. Tomorrow, in the gym, like before." Ikaruga said as Sora smiled in satisfaction.
"Awesome, you better get ready then. Because I won't let you beat me so easily this time!" Sora vowed.
"You're sounding overconfident again like before." Yagyu pointed out.
"Oh come on! I can't be that bad…"
"I have to agree with Yagyu. I think you're letting things get to your head." Hibari said.
"Same here. You're getting a head there, Sora." Asuka said.
"Come on, Asuka. You too?" Sora questioned while the girls laughed at him and Kiriya stepped behind Ikaruga.
"Sora is really starting to become a part of the group now, isn't he?" Kiriya said.
"You're right, sensei. It already seems like Sora has been here for as long as the rest of us." Ikaruga said as she watched Katsuragi sneak a fish down the back of Sora's jacket as payback for his earlier prank on her and caused the keyblade wielder to fumble around trying to get the fish out while the hanzo girls laughed.
"Indeed. Sora definitely knows how to fit in when he makes friends." Kiriya said before leaning in to talk more quietly with Ikaruga. "But while he's busy with the others, what else were these organization members talking about?"
"They said they were looking for our most "Valuable treasure" here in the hideout, along with the other shinobi academies' as well." Ikaruga said.
"Hmm, I see…"
"You don't think they're looking for the super secret ninja art scrolls, do you?"
"I'm not sure. But until we know otherwise, don't tell Sora yet. Until we know for certain, we'll hold off asking him what this organization could want with the scrolls." Kiriya advised as Ikaruga looked back towards the rest of the group where Sora had managed to grab the fish out of his jacket and laid on his back while the girls laughed again.
"I hope that's the right decision, sensei. Because if it's not, it could be a costly mistake." Ikaruga said, hoping that keeping secrets from Sora would not have consequences.

Note: When Sora uses the ninja run ability, imagine him running like the turtles from the teenage mutant ninja turtles 2012 series instead of a dorky naruto run, it's too obvious. Also, please don't sue me disney for using make a man out of you.
