A group of kids were picking on a child at a playground when a green-haired boy with green eyes got in front of the three bullies.

"Why are you so mean?" The green-haired boy turned his back to see the black hair boy who was itching himself and crying. He turned his head back to the bullies. "You made him cry, Kacchan. If you keep hurting him, I'll… I'll fight you myself." He raised his fists with tears in his eyes. It was obvious he was afraid.

The three bullies looked dumbfounded at his answer, then smiled. "You want to pretend to be a hero," Kacchan said as he placed his fist in his hand, causing a small explosion. "You don't stand a chance without a quirk, Deku," he grinned with his eyes shut.

The three charged at them. The green-haired boy was shaking, but kept his ground. Sadly, things didn't go well. The bullies attacked the boy and left him. The black hair boy, Tenko Shimura, picked up his gloves that the bullies took from him. He then went to see the green-haired boy who was on the ground with brushes all over his body. The poor emerald hair boy, Izuku Midoriya, learned that not all men are created equal and that some are born more powerful than others.

"Izuku?"

"Tenko!"

The two fathers ran to their boys. They wanted to know what happened. Tenko explained what had happened. Izuku's dad took him to the hospital while Tenko and his dad went home. Tenko wished he thanked Izuku; he didn't think he would ever meet the green-haired boy.

A week later, at elementary school where Izuku went too. The teacher introduced the new student to the class. To Izuku and Kacchan, whose actual name was Katsuki Bakugo, they recognize the student to be Tenko Shimura. The teacher had Tenko sit next to Izuku. After class recess had started, everyone asked Tenko if he wanted to be a hero, which he said yes.

"You a hero? Ha, don't make me laugh," said Katsuki.

"What's with you?" said a girl.

"There's no way he can become a hero with that quirk."

"What do you mean?" another student spoke.

"Anything he touches turns into dust," Katsuki points to Tenko's hands. The black hair boy looked at his hands while everyone whispered. He looked at them only to see everyone ran away, due to the fear of his quirk. He sat on the ground with his legs up to his body. The black hair boy started itching his face while crying. He wishes his dog was there to comfort him. "Are you okay?"

Tenko looks up to see Izuku. "I saw you crying and wanted to check on you to make sure you're fine." he noticed his voice was shaking.

"You're that kid from the playground," Tenko mumbled.

"Why are you alone?"

"You didn't hear. I have a villain quirk."

"What is your quirk?"

Tenko looked at the green-haired boy, who had a smile on his face, which left him with a confused look. He looked at his hands, then saw a stick. Tenko was hesitating, but he remembered that this was the same boy who protected him. He takes off a glove, then picks up the stick with two fingers. The rest of his fingers held the stick, which crumbled to dust.

"See a villain quirk," Tenko looked down with his head.

"That's not true. I think your quirk is awesome." Izuku said with a serious tone.

This made the black hair boy look up in shock.

The green-haired boy went about how his quirk can be used for good. From destroying broken buildings to car accidents. "You would be a rescue hero getting civilians out of danger." Izuku continued on, which eventually led to mumbling.

The young black hair boy couldn't help but smile. "Thank you."

"For what?" said Izuku.

"For what you did at the playground and what you said about my quirk."

"My name is Izuku Midoriya," the green-eyed boy offered a hand.

"Tenko… Tenko Shimura," he took the hand and was lifted from the ground.

Tenko had learned that not everyone judges people for their quirk.

First year of middle school

Izuku was heading to his class when suddenly he was bumped by another student causing him to fall. "I'm so sorry."

He looked up to see a girl who ran away after picking up her book. The green-haired boy didn't even get to say anything, so he picked up his book and went to class. During class he was about to write until he noticed the book he picked up wasn't his notebook. His notebook on the front cover was Hero Analysis for the Future while this notebook didn't have that title. He wondered where his notebook was until he remembered the girl he bumped into must've taken his notebook by accident.

"Hey Midoriya, are you ok?" said Shimura.

"Yeah, I'm… fine."

For the rest of the class, he focused on his studies. Then after school, Izuku and Tenko were at the entrance. Tenko sees his mother waiting for him.

"You want us to take you home," said Tenko.

"No, I'm fine with walking home."

"Take care then."

"You too."

While walking home, Izuku felt he was being watched. He turned his back to see nothing. The green-haired boy resumed walking. He made it to his house before entering inside. He turned his head to see nothing again.

For the past few days, Izuku couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching him. It wasn't only when he walked home, but felt it during school as well. Tenko noticed the feeling but ignored it since he was always used to people watching him, but kept in mind that this feeling was different.

The next day, Izuku opened his locker and saw a note. It said to meet him on top of the roof during lunch period. When lunch came, the green-eyed boy headed to the roof to see no one there. He thought he arrived early or maybe the person was running late. There was a question he had in mind who sent him that note. "I knew you showed up."

He turned his head to see a girl who had dirty ash-blonde hair styled into two messy buns with wild strains. Izuku has never seen this girl before. "Can I help you?" he asked.

She pulls something from her bag; it was his notebook. He grew excited to see his book. The girl hands it to him. Izuku bows to her, thanking her.

"Based on the title, I see you like heroes?"

"Yes. I'm going to be a hero just like All Might."

It was at this moment he remembered one time he saw this girl watching him when he and Tenko were walking to class. "Hey were you-"

"Sorry it took so long to give your book back, but."

He noticed she was looking nervous. "Are you new to this school?"

She nodded. "My name is Himiko Toga."

"Izuku Midoriya."

An awkward silence between the two until Izuku spoke, "So ummm, do you want to hang out with us?"

The girl gave a small smile to the green-haired boy when he noticed two sharp teeth in her smile. "Sure," she said nervously.

"There you are."

The two turned their heads to see Tenko. "Hey Shimura," said Izuku.

"I was looking for you, but it appears you've got here early and…" Tenko stopped as soon as he saw the girl.

"Hey Midoriya, who's the girl?"

"This is Himiko Toga. Toga, this is Tenko Shimura. He and I have been friends since we were little," said Izuku.

"Nice to meet you," Tenko offered his hand.

Himiko shakes the boy's hand. She noticed he was wearing gloves, which made her curious, but didn't want to be rude. The three enjoyed their lunch and went back to class. After school, the three were hangout, eventually spending more time together every day. One day, Izuku invites his friends to his house. Before leaving The ash-blond girl askes for a minute. She steps away to call her mom. When she heard her daughter was invited to a friend's house her mother shouted with joy. She told her to have a good time and hope to one day meet her new friends.

"Who was on the phone?" Tenko asked.

"My mom. I wanted to let her know where I'm heading."

"Your mother sure sounded excited on the phone." Izuku smiled.

The three heads to Izuku's house. They entered to see a slim woman with a shoulder length ponytail who was in the kitchen. "Welcome home Izuku."

"Hello Ms. Midoriya," said Tenko.

"Hello Tenko. It's nice to see you again."

The woman noticed Himiko. "You must be Himiko Toga. I'm Inko Midoriya. Nice to meet you."

"Um… nice to meet you too," Himiko turned her head away from embarrassment.

"Is dad home?" said Izuku.

"No. He's still at work, but he'll be home soon."

"We'll be in my room."

They head to his room. The green haired boy was hesitating to open his room due to what his friends will see but pushes the feeling away and opens his room. The first thing they see is a bunch of All Might merchandise all over his room from action figures to posters. Izuku turns his head away from the embarrassment.

"I've always known you were a fan of All Might," said Tenko.

"Checkout the dumbbells," Himiko pointed by the bed.

"When did you start working out?"

"Since I've started middle school," said Izuku.

Izuku recalls his childhood memories before he met Tenko. It was the day when the doctor told him that he was quirkless. The news broke the little boy.

Inko came to Izuku's room to see her son on the computer watching his favorite video of All Might. "You see that mom." He froze the video of All Might saving civilians with a huge smile on his face. "He always smiles no matter how bad things get. Even when things are impossible he never gives up."

When Inko saw her son turned his chair, she started to tear up. He pointed the screen. "Do you think I can become a hero too?" he said, holding back his tears.

Inko walked up to her son and gave him the biggest hug. "Izuku. My son you can become a hero. Don't ever give up your dream," she creid so much tears were falling down to her checks. Izuku was happy to hear those words that instead of tears of sadness, they were tears of joy.

The knock of a door returned him back to reality. "Come in."

The door opens and behind the door was a very skinny man, pointy chin, and short blonde hair.

"Hey dad," said Izuku.

"Hello Mr. Midoriya," said Tenko.

"Hey boys. Your mother wanted me to bring you guys a snack."

He places the snacks and drinks on the table and noticed Himiko. "Hello there. I don't believe we've met."

"I'm Himiko Toga."

"Nice to meet you, Toga. I'm Toshinori. I'm Izuku's father."

"Excuse me, Mr. Midoriya, where's the bathroom?" asked Tenko.

"Down the hall door to the left."

"Thanks."

Both Toshinori and Tenko left the room, leaving Izuku and Himiko alone. There was an awkward of silence. "Your parents seem lovely," said Toga.

"Ever since I discovered I was quirkless, my mom was always supporting me. When I entered middle school, my mom got some dumbbells and other types of equipment for me to workout."

A thought came to Izuku. He wondered what Himiko's quirk was. "Hey Toga."

"Yeah, Midoriya."

"I've been wondering since we first met. What's your quirk?"

The ash-blonde girl had a worried look on her face. She knew if she told him he would not only be gross out but she would lose her friends. The thought hit her like a bullet. She was full of anxiety.

Izuku noticed she was acting a strange. "Are you alright? I'm sorry if I made you upset you don't have to tell me if you don't wanna."

Himiko looked up at her friend. She takes a deep breath and looks directly at Izuku with a nervous look on her face. "If I tell my quirk, can we still be friends?"

"Well, of course we can still be friends," Izuku was confused.

"Can I have your finger?"

The green-haired boy offers his finger. Himiko pulls a pin needle and pokes his finger. This made Izuku winced. "Um Toga what are you-" before he could finish his sentence he saw Toga licking his finger. After drinking his blood, Toga transformed into Izuku. She explained her quirk allows her to transform into anyone after drinking their blood.

"Interesting. You sound and look like me, however you're still wearing your clothes but I can see my clothes under yours," he pointed to the sleeves on her arms.

"How long can you stay in your transformation and how much blood do you need to drink in order to transform? Can you also transform into animals? Could you also use other people's quirk while in the transformation?"

Toga reverted to her normal self, leaving a grey liquid on the floor. She didn't expect her friend to ask more about her quirk.

"You think my quirk is interesting?" she said softly.

"Totally. In fact, your quirk is amazing, Toga. You can be a master of disguises and hide in villain hideouts. You can also be a spy hero and get information to plan an ambushed. If you get captured, you can easily escape by turning into one of the villains."

Toga was shocked to hear Izuku saying her quirk was amazing. For the first time in her life, someone considered her quirk a gift and not a curse. It was then Toga had a flashback of her childhood.

When she was four years, her mother found her drinking blood from a dead bird. The mother screamed in terror while Himiko looked at a mother with a smile, "Look, mom isn't it pretty?"

Ms. Toga was terrified of what she saw her daughter did to the bird. She got on her knees and explained to Himiko what she did to the bird was wrong. Himiko, realizing what she did, felt guilty for hurting the poor animal.

When the day came for Himiko to know her quirk, the doctor told them she had Transformation. Himiko was happy to hear that she had a quirk, but soon the excitement was swept away after the doctor explained her quirk.

"I have to drink blood… no, I don't want to hurt anyone, especially after what I did to the bird."

"The bird?"

The doctor turned his attention to Ms. Toga. "Do you mind telling me?"

She looked at her daughter who was looking down at the floor. She didn't have to see her daughter's face to know she's upset.

Ms. Toga was hesitating to tell the doctor, but she assured her it would be fine. Before she could speak, her daughter spoke for her.

"I found a poor injured bird and drank its blood," she said, holding back her tears.

"You've got yourself a brave little girl," said the doctor.

The two looked at the doctor with shocked faces.

"I can understand your reactions. Allow me to explain."

The doctor explained she is a Quirkologist which meant she studies quirks and that she doesn't label quirks as villainous or heroic since she sees all quirks being both heroic and villainous. She continued on, "In my studies. I discovered a theory of how quirks could be a part of the user's personality or interest. I know a boy who had a quirk that disintegrates anything he touches, but he itches a lot, especially when he's nervous."

"So my daughter's fixation on blood is due to her quirk."

"Based on the theory, yes, however."

"However?"

"There's more you need to know about your daughter's quirk. Before I continued, how long since your daughter drank blood?"

"And has she shown any changes to her behavior?"

"No. She's been normal. Why do you ask?"

"You see, Ms. Toga. If your daughter doesn't drink enough blood, there's a good chance she could go insane."

Himiko was terrified to hear she could become a monster. "Himiko."

She looked up at her mother, who had a smile on her face.

"No matter what your quirk is, I'll always love you."

This made the little girl cry. She was happy to have an amazing mother.

"Dr. Phoenix."

"Yes."

"Is there a way for me to get blood for my daughter?"

"Actually, there is. There's a program where people can get blood for their quirks."

She hands her card that a phone number to the program. The doctor then asked about the bird. Himiko told her she took care of the bird and it flew away after feeling better.

"Glad to hear that. Oh, before you two leave here," she hands them a pack of her blood. "I believe she'll start craving for blood about another week."

"Thank you."

The two head home with smiles on their faces.

The green hair boy noticed his friend's tears. "Hey are you alright?"

"Toga? Are you alright?" Izuku asked.

Himiko noticed she was crying. "I'm just so happy. You're the first person who's ever seen my quirk as a gift and not a curse."

"Hey there's no reason to cry. I didn't mean to-" before he could finish his sentence. The ash blond girl wrap her arms around his upper body, causing him to blush.

"Toga?" he stuttered.

"I'm so glad."

"For what?"

"That we're friends."

"Me too." he wrapped his arms around her.

There was a moment of silence. Unannounced to the two, both Izuku's parents were watching the two while Tenko was listening.

This brings back a memory of when Izuku and Tenko first meet and became friends. 'That's Izuku for yeah. He's always kind and understanding.' he smiles.

"What's wrong Inko?" Toshinori noticed his wife had tears in her eyes but had a smile on her face.

"I'm just so happy," she cried silently.

"Me too Inko." he looks at his son. "Me too."

Tenko took a step, which made the floor crack. Izuku noticed the noise and saw his parents. His face turned like a tomato due to the embarrassment.

"Mom, dad, what are you doing here? Hold on, how long were you two standing there?" He stuttered.

"From the beginning," Tenko pushed the door, revealing himself.

"You too."

Izuku dashed out of his room, out of embarrassment. His parents ran after him, apologizing. Himiko couldn't help but burst into laughter.

At the end of the day Himiko and Tenko said goodbye to their green hair boy friend. When Himiko got home, she was welcomed by her mother's hug.

"How was your day, Himiko?"

"Today was the best day of my life." she smiled. She told her mother about her day.

Her mother was so happy to hear that someone that's her daughter's age accepts her for who she is. "This calls for a little celebration. I'll make some cake."

Himiko grabs a pomegranate and sits on the table. "I wondered if I told you my quirk, would you still be friends with me?" She picks up a picture of her and a brown hair girl playing together. "Uraraka."

"Himiko."

She looks up at her mother. "Would you like to help me?"

"Yes." she smiled.

She gets up and joins her mother.

I've been writing this story for a long time. I've got many ideas for my hero academia but started with this version.
