To the review who wanted Death Watch to get Wasteland Justice via Ripper. I just want the Courier to be somewhat of nearing to be a sociopath that cares for civilian lives. He gets his hands dirty, but not to an extent that the civilians are caught in the crossfire. So those are the reason why I choose the YCS/186 Gauss Rifle and the AER14 Prototype Laser rifle.

So yeah, this story's version of the Courier will be somewhat of a Sociopath but isn't that keen in literally chain-sawing people to bits. What he is like Doom guy?

And to Mandalore the Survivor, yeah I kinda need to watch those videos to understand more about the Mandalorian Society and Culture. Thanks for those video links and you pointing out what I need to do when it comes to those areas, especially Death Watch.

One more thing, JESUS! THE AMOUNT OF FOLLOWERS AND FAVOURITES IN A SPAN OF WHEN THIS STORY WAS FIRST PUBLISHED?! I am actually surprised about that. Guess that 2022 will be the best modern year for Star Wars content, huh? What's next, a fan asking an artist on DeviantArt to commission a cover for this fanfic?

Enough with that statement. Let's get to the story shall we.

Chapter Two: A Trip to Shili

The sound of footsteps could be heard as the Courier continued trekking through the rocky path towards his supposed destination. Well, more like where its going to transport him to the planet of Shili of course.

It has been a few days since he left the settlement that he saved. Although he had dealt with those Death Watch people before, something tells him that any future with that group would have to be very cautious. That was in case if he find himself encountering any Leigon veteran knockoffs. Well, according to himself for now. Perhaps encountering some level-headed individuals from the group might change that mindset.

"Well, I did a nice job in making some new unknown enemies." The Courier muttered to himself.

He continued walking towards his destination. While he continued to do so, he decided to test out the modifications that were made on his weapons to wild life creatures that were encounter. Pulling out his Laser Rifle first, he soon looked at a nearby dead tree and decide to fire a few shots. It fired normally, but as he fired the maximum round, it soon let out a smoke for about ten seconds before it cooled down.

Well, it's safe to say that a cool modification was better than to reload another Microfusion round. No wonder there was no longer a need to switch the cells when it's out of energy. Wonder what it could do to a living being.

Putting the Lazer Rifle on his back, he then switched to his Gauss Rifle and fired a powerful shot. He didn't expect the dead tree to be completely decimated. That was impressive.

Thinking about the scenario of when he encountered something that was too much to handle for his laser rifle, the Courier soon put the Gauss Rifle on his back before he looked up to the sky.

Seeing that it was beginning to be night, Six let out a sigh. At least he isn't rushing or anything. Finding a nearby cave to sleep in, he removed his helmet and placed it where he put his weapons and got into a position that he is mostly comfortable with. Resting his head on his bad, he began to have thoughts on this place.

This place…no, this planet was so far very interesting to him. It wasn't only that but he was entirely in a different galaxy that he originated from. A part of him wanted to go back home and just wonder around the Wasteland but another part wanted him to explore more of this galaxy. Perhaps to seek adventures and just doing his deed as a Courier. Like what he was doing right now.

Sleep manage to overtake him as he laid there. Soon, he closed his eyes and began to sleep. All he hoped was to go to his destination as soon as he could.

-A Few Hours Later-

The Courier was well rested. After refreshing himself and washing his face, he continued the journey towards his destination. It had only been a few hours and looking at his Pip Boy to see that he was nearing his destination.

'Oh thank God!' He said in his head as he was glad that the long journey with only a single sleep rest was worth it.

Trekking his way through the wilderness, the Courier was now in his destination. Honestly, if he didn't have his helmet on, he would have had his eyes widen and his jaw dropped. Funny enough that was his expression right now.

It was an airport of some kind. He saw weird looking ships flying in and out from the hanger. The Courier also spotted people, both humans and aliens, present within the airport. This is it; this is where he will depart from the planet and go to Shili to deliver a package to individual that had a connection with the village that he saved earlier.

'Better not waste more time then.' He said in his head as he proceeded to head there and take a place that could take to go towards his destination.

Speaking of the airport, the people that was present were doing their usual routine and they stopped upon looking at a man who was walking through. His clothing was akin to that of a bounty hunter but it wasn't just an ordinary bounty hunter. It was more to than of a former soldier from a backwater planet with no contact from the outside world. By the looks of his attire and weapons, something told the people that he was dangerous.

Seeing the attention that he was given off from the people, the Courier just shrug it off. 'Guess this is a type of reaction from other people that sees me as an individual from Earth, if it exist on this planet?" He murmured in his head before proceeding to go to the counter to book a flight to his destination.

As he reached the counter, he saw that it was a robot. But it wasn't like any of the designs that he has knowledge of back from when he was just a simpler Courier back in the Mojave Wasteland. Glad to see that there were improvements made unlike those obsolete ones that he encountered.

"Hello! How may I assist you?" The Robot Counter asked in a male voice with a bit of hesitance.

Hearing his expression, the Courier just kindly replied back. "I want a flight to Shili as soon as possible."

There was a bit of silence between the two. Shili was in another space system from Mandalore and he was serious about going to that place. Guess this individual doesn't care at all.

"Alright. I can book you in that flight which is about to depart in thirty minutes." The Robot Cashier spoke after thinking on the man's destination. "Would you like to have a return ticket as well?"

He already thought of this question. It is true that he wanted to travel around the galaxy to find a way back home, but for now at least he wanted to do this errand really quick. "Yes please. And how much would that be around?"

"five hundred and twenty credits would be the payment, Sir."

Digging through his bag, the Courier looked to see how much Credit he has and it was safe to say that he was at around seven hundred credits… which is enough for him on his current errand. If he couldn't buy his own food, then he would have to hunt in the wild as another option if there weren't anyone who would offer him for his kindness.

Paying the Cashier and getting his ticket, he proceeded to make his way towards the platform that would take him to the planet of Shili.

Platform 21.

Now that number sure did bring back some memories for the Courier. He wondered what Doctor Mitchell was doing right now back in Good Springs. The man was the one who gave him the Pit Boy after all, which helped him in all of his problems throughout New Vegas and beyond.

Like what it's doing for him now.

Arriving at the platform, he saw that it was a huge shuttle that could fit a lot of people entering it. This meant one thing, the flight was about to leave and he needed to board that flight now.

Walking towards the shuttle, the Courier stopped in his tracks when a Robot security Office stood in front of him with a lot of luggage. "I'm sorry, sir. You can't board a commercial flight with your weapons."

"Alright, if you say," The Courier nodded with a sigh as he saw a vacant luggage and opened it. Putting his Gauss Rifle and Laser Blast Rifle into it, as well as the bullets on his bullet belt, he took a glance at them once more before closing it tightly.

When that was over and done with, he looked over to the robot with a slight glare. "Make sure that they won't be lost, okay?"

"Proceed." Was the response that the Robot could only reply as he saw the Courier Board the shuttle.

As all the civilians that manage to be onboard the transport, it began to lift and exited the hanger bay before it reached the atmosphere. The Courier looked outside and saw that he was indeed in space. Star glittering everywhere. He could imagine every companion that he had being jealous of him.

But now he is alone. No one except the people from that village would accompany him in his travels. Perhaps this trip might shed some light onto it.

Looking at the civilians from the far corner of where he was, he was glad that they were happy and chatting among themselves. Seeing this peaceful sight made him close his eyes as he didn't want to stay up for the rest of the trip.

Before doing that, he brought up his Pip Boy and scrolled through the downloaded music that he had, which was mostly consist of Frank Sinatra and old artists from the Twentieth Century. Putting the volume to the appropriate volume, he began to play a certain song that suited his mood.

One by the one and only John Denver that reminded him of home…

Almost heaven, West Virginia

Blue Ridge Mountains, Shenandoah River

Life is old there, older than the trees

Younger than the mountains, growin' like a breeze

Country roads, take me home

To the place I belong

West Virginia, mountain mama

Take me home, country roads

The first two verse of this song helped him relax for the travel. The Courier admitted that this song reminded him of home despite not originating from West Virginia back on his backwater Planet. Having a small smile behind his helmet, the Courier closed his eyes as he felt quite tired after listening to the rest of the song. Sleep overtook him in a couple of minutes and eventually, he was fast asleep.

At least he has some items that reminded him of home and he will take care of them. Even if he has to be selfish in some way.

-Change Scene-

Eventually, the Courier had managed to reach the planet of Shili. He didn't know how long he was asleep for. At least he is his designated planet. Now fully rested, he was ready to resume his job.

Exiting the civilian shuttle, the Courier manage to grab his weapons before he walked towards the exit of the airport. Now that was done, all he had to do was to deliver that package as soon as he can.

There wasn't a problem for him as he was used to long walks with minimum rest breaks. The only problem that he could see? The walk from the airport to the Capital was going to take too long and that he didn't have enough credit for transport to go there at the exact time he wanted.

Guess he'll have to deliver it the old fashion way then?

Looking at the map via his Pip Boy, he saw the way towards the Capital would have to be through the wildlands and throughout the path, he discover that there is a village along the way.

Dwindling on what he was seeing, the Courier let out a sigh. Seeing that this was the only path towards his destination. "Looks liken there is no other option then?" He murmured to himself before putting his Pit Boy down to grab the package. Inspecting it, he gently place it back onto his pocket and began his trip.

The Courier started walking toward his destination. Perhaps it might take a day or two to head there with only one stop to rest.

As he was walking, he couldn't help but to look at the alien species that is native to this planet, the Togrtua. He saw that there were males and females with different colour skin such as orange, red, while and yellow. But what was eye-catching for him was that all had horn-like skins known as Montrals and different tail-head length.

Admittedly, he couldn't help but stare at any female Togrutas that passed by him since he saw the beauty in it. This made him shake his head as he realised that he was gaining too much attention from them due to the design of his helmet, which was quite intimidating to say.

'Damn, I need to keep my eyes off from them. They think I'm a creep.' He said to himself as he resumed his journey.

Hours had passed by and the Courier was already in the wilderness. Looking at the map from his Pit Boy, he saw that he was just halfway towards the Capital city. He stared at his device in complete awe. Was he walking too long? Guess this happens when he is too dedicated to do his job.

Six was about to continue his Journey. When all of a sudden…

*GROWL*

He stood still in his tracks upon hearing that noise, knowing what he had stumbled upon. Cautiously turning around, the Courier saw a creature that was akin to a Yao guai back in the wasteland. The only exception is that the creature that stood behind him didn't have irradiated skin and the head was that of a Deathclaw without any horns.

'Okay, I better take some precautions,' He said to himself as he pulled out his Gauss Rifle and aimed at the beast before—

Somewhere in the wilderness not far from where the Courier was, a female Togruta with orange skin and blue and white Montrals and Tail heads, was making her way back to her home village after getting supplies from a nearby settlement early on the day. She wasn't along though as she was with her two and a half year old daughter with her.

Things were continued to be normal until—

*ROOOOARRRRR*

The female stopped in her tracks and looked around as she heard a roar coming from a beast known as an Akul.

Now that was confusing for her to hear in this time of day. But then again she was aware that she was alone in the wilderness with her baby by her side. There, she comforted her child as she was afraid of hearing the beast. In an instant, she heard the Akul beast coming near where they are.

This made her hold her baby daughter close to her as they heard the sound of running towards their directions. "Hold on, dear!" The Togrutan female said to her daughter in a motherly way as her baby was holding onto of her Tail heads in fear.

She hoped that when that beast was about to come towards her, at least she was about to die with her daughter on her side.

*BOOM*

A sound of a blaster was also heard, causing the Togrutan Mother to open her eyes after hearing a "thud" on her left. She turned to the direction and saw the Akul Beast lying dead while a pool of blood was coming out of it. She blinked a few times wondering what had killed it?

That answer cam when a stranger dawning a militaristic outfit holding a weird-looking rifle on him with another slinging on his back walked into frame. He used the muzzle of his gun to check if the beast was dead.

After confirming that the beast was dead, the stranger massaged his neck and right arm before looking up to the sky. Then, she heard the stranger speaking in a male voice. "Great. Guess now I have to find a place to rest."

Feeling that the Courier was being watched, he turned to see a Torgrutan Mother and a baby just looking at him with curiosity and bewilderment. This lasted for a while until he felt really uncomfortable at them staring at him.

"Oh…uh. Sorry about that. I didn't mean that. Better be in my way then." The Courier realised as he walked away from the creature's corpse and was about to pass the two Togrutans.

"WAIT!" The Courier stopped in his tracks and turned around to see the older Togrutan looking at him. He continued to look at her before she smiled at him. "I just want to thank you for saving me and my daughter!"

"I appreciate that, ma'am." The Courier said respectfully before turning around to find a place to stay for the night.

"Where do you think you're going?" The elder Togrutan asked.

"I need to find a place to sleep."

"In the wild? You can't be serious?" Then then thought of something in return as a way to thank him. "How about you stay in my place for the night?"

The Courier blinked at her words behind his helmet. He did save those two though it was not his intention to do so. But he didn't want to be rude by refusing their offer and saw that the woman had not harmful intention towards him. "Hm. Sure, why not."

The woman began to make her way back to the village. The Courier was tagging along with her as he was by her side. He had his weapon on him in case they encountered any creatures nearby.

It continued to be peaceful as they were heading towards their destination. The Courier was grateful that this Togrutan woman was offering him a place to stay for the night. At least it was better than laying down on a rocky surface. "Say, In just want to say thank you for letting me go with you. I was kinda in an errand when all of a sudden that best showed up. At least its dead."

The female Togrutan giggled at the man's words. "You did save me and my daughter from that Akul beast earlier. Though, you don't look like you belong here."

The man let out a sigh upon hearing this. "Well, you are right there. I am just someone who is doing an errand. You can call me a Courier."

"Courier?" She said as she eyed at the man.

"Well, it's more look a job that I normally do. It's my profession. People just call me that." He admitted. He never used his real name for a while, which he had forgotten long ago, so he would refer to himself as either the Courier or Courier Six to other people. "Yeah, that's my name. It's a weird one since I don't remember my name. What's yours and that baby's name?"

The woman giggled at the man's words. Although he has got a strange name and spoke in a very casual manner, at least he was friendly. Then she spoke.

"Well, my is Pav-ti. And this is my daughter, Ahsoka Tano."

YEP! You read the last line alright. That baby was the only and the beloved (or hated for some people) character, Ahsoka Tano! And he will give her an impact that she would remember during her time as a Jedi. Thanks to the Star Wars Wookieepedia page, her mother's name was revealed. Oh, and the leaks of the upcoming series Tales of the Jedi, paid huge contributes to the chapter in some way.

This mini story arc will be split into three. This chapter was part one and the next two chapters will be fun to write. Though there will be errors along the way. I apologize if it sucks.

I dunno want you want to see when the Courier is spending time with baby Ahsoka and her mother, but I will say that the next chapter will be very interesting to read. Despite the short chapter, the next one may be a bit longer.

Spot a reference to the Book of Boba Fett in this chapter?

Then again, read and review this chapter and I will see you in the next chapter.
