Welcome to part two of the Shili Trip Arc. This chapter is going to be relaxing as the main character, the Courier will rest for a day as a certain Togrutan baby girl wanted to play with him for a single day.

Kinda weird, eh? Well, remember what I said in the last chapter about the Courier having little influence on Ahsoka? This chapter will finally show it.

Oh, and I simply cannot believe that just in two chapter (not including the debate post one), I have simply had that amount of followers and favourites within a little time span. Last time I had that was, well, two years ago. But anyway that doesn't matter. What matters is that I am going to entertain you as best as I could possibly.

One more information. This story is inspired by two Fanfic stories. Wolves That Walk Alone (that is no longer on this website) by TheManThatWalksTheAbyss115 due to the Courier's goals into going back home being the same as the main protagonist and Avengers: Infinite Wars by free man writer as it is interesting to see how outsiders from the Star Wars Galaxy will bring a shift in force as well as the impact it could bring to the people though he will not get himself involved in the Clone Wars, though it gave me another idea to write upon with a famous Japanese mobile Game series that is not available where I am at.

JUST AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE! NO SHIPPING WILL HAPPEN AS COURIER SIX IS SIMPLY TRAVELLING AROUND THE FAR, FAR GLAXY WHILE FINDING A WAY BACK HOME. THERE WILL BE TIMES THAT HE STARES AT SOME SEXY ALIENS BUT KNOWS THAT HE'S LIMITING HIMSELF. GOD! YOU KNOW THAT SHIPPING IN THIS STORY WOULD SUCK, RIGHT?! In all honesty, I read some stories and I have to tell you that although there are some positive responses, there are also negative responses in regard to romance and harems. I am 100 percent CONFIRMED that there won't be any harems. It's going to ruin Six's character and I intend the story to only have close relationship with certain people. No romance, no harems, just being a close friend/ally to them. Don't need a Broken Base Trope if this Fanfic even gets its own TV Trope Page.

And to Mandalore the Survivor, I am going to take back from what I said about the Courier being somewhat of a sociopath as I really don't see him as much. I am still going to take your advice on his upcoming adventures in the Star Wars Galaxy.

Enjoy the chapter. Don't forget to read and review the chapter.

Chapter Three: Day of Rest and Discovery

Pave-ti was just a local Togrutan on her home planet of Shili. Life was normal for her, her family and of course her baby daughter, Ahsoka Tano. Her child was something that she would cherish everything she is with her.

The two were travelling back to their home village after gathering up enough supplies to feed their family.

Well, they were not alone in their travel.

Taking a glance at the left side, a man in some strange outfit that seemed to be akin to some sort of former military turned bounty hunter, was walking with them. Whenever she took a glance at him, he look back at her with curiosity? She can't tell as his helmet covered his entire face.

It has only been a few minutes since meeting this stranger and if she had to be honest, she was curious to who this person was. From what he had informed her, he was a Courier that delivers packages to people.

Pave was quite satisfied with the answer that she has got but she was still curious about this person. From what she saw, he had a weird looking device on his left arm and seemed to be obsolete in the Galaxy Standard. Perhaps he originated from a Backwater Planet where those types of technology came from.

But that wasn't important right now as the two had manage to reach their destination. A village situated in the middle of the wilderness. It was reaching mid night but the Courier didn't mind it at all.

It was still weird seeing nature being all untouched by radiation and how the lack of mutated creatures were present. All he could remember of seeing this is in the books from the old world from when he was just a small child back in California. He knew that the wasteland wouldn't have any natural wildlife made except the ones that he saw in some places in the Mojave Wasteland.

'Damn, it is really nice to see everything not destroyed and irradiated.' Courier thoughtfully told himself.

"My home is just around the corner," Pave told the armoured individual, making him snap out of his thoughts as he saw her, along with baby Ahsoka, beginning to make their way to their home.

He followed suited and soon the two had entered the village. Upon stepping into the village, the Courier could not help but to ignore every Togrutan that laid their eyes onto him. The Courier already guessed that they had never seen an outfit he is dawning right now. He wanted to comment to them looking at him but opted not to.

It was rather rude for him to even ask.

After a few minutes of walking, they'd finally reached their destination. It was a small hut that looked like it came right off from a fairy tale story. Though it doesn't look like it something that some people wouldn't live in, but at least it could be liveable. That was something that the Courier didn't mind as it seemed to be cosy compared to the houses back in the Wasteland.

"So, this is your home?" Courier asked Pave as he kept staring at the hut.

The older Togrutan nodded in response. "Yes it is. Come, there's plenty of room for the three of us." She, along with baby Ahsoka, then made their way to the entrance to the house.

The Courier followed suit and as he did, he saw that it was only just the two in the house. Naturally, he was curious to ask where her husband was. 'Perhaps he may be out on a job or something? Ah well, guess I get to know when I have some rest.

Placing his two weapons into the nearby wall, the Courier waited for a bit for Pave to cook up some dinner. He opted to help, but the older Togrutan woman kindly declined his offer. While she was preparing, he had a chance to interact with Ahsoka. The baby was staring at him while he did the same while kneeling down to her level. "Guess you're curious to who I am?" The Courier then put his right hand near her and pulled out his index finger as a way to greet her. "Well, let's just say that I am a man who saved yours and you mom's life."

Baby Ahsoka was quite hesitant to even hold his index finger. She looked at him and the helmet design was starting to be very scary for her. "Oh, you must be scared on my helmet. Let me take it off then." She heard the Courier's voice talking to her. In an instant, he put both hands on his helmet and took it off to reveal a man with short brown hair and blue eyes.

Placing the helmet near his left foot and he gave the baby a gentle and warm smile. "Now is this better for you?"

He heard the alien baby giggle happily and tried to reach his face. The Courier then gently grab her and felt her eyes touching his face. All of a sudden, he heard footsteps and turned to see Pave looking at him in bewilderment. He could already tell what her response was about to be. "Oh. Um, surprised about my facial appearance and that I am a human?"

The older Togruta nodded in response and just a few minutes later, dinner was prepared. The three then sat down and began to it. As the two aliens were eating, the Courier just eyed the food on the plate for a few seconds. Something was lingering into his mind. It wasn't any sort of food that had been irradiated back in the Wasteland. The smell, the layout, it seemed to be something so new yet intriguing for the Courier.

Picking up a sliced meat with a fork in his right hand, the Courier opened his mouth, he began to chew the food. After finishing what was in his mouth, he couldn't not help himself but to pick up another one. The taste, the smell, this has to be one of the best foods, aside from those MREs, that he tasted. At least it wasn't that kind of meat back in the Ultra-Luxe Casino in the Strip.

When dinner was over, Pave put her daughter back into her crib to sleep before she saw down on the dining table with the Courier being on the left side to where she was sitting. "So, Courier was it. I've been meaning to ask you something."

Said person looked at her. "Sure. Ask your questions and I will be glad to answer it as best I could." He proceeded to pull a package out from his pocket and put it down onto the table. "Dunno what is it, but all I was informed was that I was to deliver this package to someone in the Capital of Shili."

"You are delivering a package to Corvala?"

"Yep. You are correct there, Pave."

"Then are you doing this for a favour?"

The Courier nodded back at her. "I am just a Courier trying to make a living."

"That job seems to be dangerous." Pave said as an eyebrow rose in suspicion wondering why he didn't mind that kind of job.

"But that doesn't mean you get to see some sites to see while passing by." The Courier countered back in a gentle manner.

As the two continued to talk, NOT in a romantic manner, Paveti suggested that he would need a day rest before he continued his journey to the Capital City. The Courier, at first, declined it until he realised that he hasn't had an actual day of rest. Letting out a sigh, he look back at her while a smile. "Alright, I'll stay here, just for one day."

"You will?"

"I am staying true to my words, Pave. I am staying here for at least one more day."

-Change Scene-

Morning hit a small village somewhere within Shili. Every inhabitant were doing their usual business.

Well, all except for one person.

The Courier had managed to wake himself up after sleeping outside for nearly ten hours. After refreshing himself and putting his helmet back on, he looked for Pave and Ahsoka as he wanted to ask what he was going to do while he was staying in the village.

Wondering the village for a bit, he manage to find the two being talked to an older Togruta female who seemed to have the same colour pattern as the two aforementioned individuals and had a walking stick. Without being rude, he waited for a bit until they looked at his direction. "Oh, hi there. Did I interrupt something between you two?"

Pave shook her head in response. "No. In fact, I was talking to the Elder about you."

The Elder…" The Courier murmured quietly to himself before he turned his attention to the older Togurta.

Said person smiled at him despite his overall appearance. "Greetings, traveller. I hope you are enjoying your time here."

"Yeah, in fact I am enjoying my time here." The Courier respectfully replied back to the Elder. "Pave was kindly enough to offer me a place to stay for the time being."

The village Elder didn't respond for a few seconds as she looked at the person that was simply known as the Courier. Something about this person felt very empty. It seemed like he didn't belong in this place at all. He was hiding something but the Village Elder knew that it was not her right of place to ask that kind of question.

She gently look at him in a caring manner. "Traveller, would you be kindly enough to join us later?"

He narrowed his eyes underneath his helmet upon hearing that. "Uh, no mean to be rude, but what for?"

"To learn the way of our people." She simply responded back.

The Courier trekked his way through the wilderness with a spear that was handed to him by the village. He wasn't alone though as he was tagging along with other Torgrutas from the village, including Pave-ti and Ahsoka Tano. All of whom carried Spears and also some kind of weird looking bows. He was sceptical to bring Ahsoka along with them due to her being a baby, but the other villager informed him that it's part of their tradition. He was alright with that, though he still have that mindset.

Along the way, he manage to meet the husband of Pave-ti. Though he questioned to his wife as to why he was in their place, she told him that it was payment for saving her and her daughter's life. He understood his wife's words and the two men talked to each other.

With that said, they were almost near their destination when the human cladded in strange armour then asked the group a question.

"So, what are we doing in the wilderness again?" The Courier asked out of curiousity.

"Hunting down an Akul." One of the villagers quickly answered his question.

Hunting was something that the Courier was all too familiar with. Throughout his journey in the Mojave, he'd usually hunt down wild creatures whenever a single one was nearby and would do some things that made him wonder why he'd do such things. Guess it's the selfish reasons for surviving the Wasteland.

Upon hearing that all except for him stopped in their tracks, this alerted him into stopping. The reason why? All of them turned their attention to a beast that the Courier had killed not too long ago. An Akul.

'Oh great, these pain in the ass creatures!' He thoughtfully grumbled to himself before talking to the other villagers, "So, I take it we're hunting those things, right?"

Many of them nodded at him and they all readied themselves to strike down the beast. Well, except the Courier as he was watching over Ahsoka since her mother had taken her off from the baby carrying harness. That and because he wanted to see how the Togrutan people hunt which would be an interesting lesson to say the least considering that he was in another galaxy.

As the others were sneaking up on the creature as quietly and possibly as they could, the Courier watched from a far as some had managed to land a hit onto the creature. It roared in pain as it felt the stabbing from multiple spears and tried to shake off the Togrutas.

Fortunately for the hunters, their archers had fired multiple arrows at it as the means to stun the creature to prevent it from hurting any nearby hunters.

While this was going on, the Courier kept a keen eye on what was unfolding. He had to tell himself that these Togrutans were doing well as a team. Last time he remembered in seeing this is when he had to train a bunch of NCR misfits back at Camp Golf. Despite this, they did show some Valour and courage during the Second Battle at Hoover Dam thanks to the Courier's training. "Say now. One day, you'll be just like your mother, huh Ahsoka?" The Courier questioned the baby to which she didn't respond.

Turning to the left and looking down, he saw that the young child was no longer with him. In an instant, he had an 'Oh Crap!' Realisation that she might've wondered off while he was observing the hut of the Akul. Taking a quick glance of the hunt, the Courier discretely slipped away before he followed footprints that belonged to a child. Despite his short time with Ahsoka, he knew that he could not let himself get Ahsoka killed even though he didn't know much about her and her family.

He wasn't going to abandon a child to leave it up to its fate.

'Need to be fast before the others find out!' He said to himself as he pulled out a WESTAR-35 Blaster Pistol from his trench-coat pocket that was given to him by the village, he continued to follow the footprints until he reached to a nearby cave.

Letting out a 'Tch' sound from his lips, he quickly entered the caves and quickly began to make a quick search to find that baby Togrutan. "Ahsoka, well the hell are you?!" He quietly murmured to himself.

Eventually, he got his answer when he saw the baby walking around a path that goes deep into the caves. Not wanting to piss of any wild creatures, if there were any here, the armoured Man quietly made his way to get her before—

*GRRRROOWLLL*

He stopped in his tracks upon hearing that noise. Facing to where Ahsoka was, a sabretooth tiger appeared out of the shadow. The Courier was surprised to see an animal thought long to be extinct, well at least in his world, and waited for the right moment to strike down the wild animal.

Gripping his Blaster Pistol, he waited for the right moment to fire, he watched as the animal was nearing the baby. He was about to point his weapon at the near when all of a sudden, something strange happened.

Rather than being scared, Ahsoka just tilted her head at the Sabretooth tiger. It took a few seconds for her to touch the creature in a way that people do to greet their pet.

Seeing this transpire made the Courier blink for a few seconds as he was too shocked to even move. If he wasn't at this state, then he would have seen the creature then leaving the baby along before—

"AHSOKA!"

The shouting made the Courier break his inner thoughts as he turned to his side to see Pave-ti and her husband, along with the Village Elder who just stood aside with the man upon their arrival, rushing towards their baby daughter. She was picked up off from the ground by her mother and she was motherly hugged by Pave. "Ahsoka, you're safe! I was so worried about you!" She spoke out of relief.

The father shared the same feeling as his wife as he was stroking the top of his daughter's head. "I am glad that the Courier had managed to keep you safe from harm."

"Um…"

Hearing the Courier speak made everyone in the area turn to face him. All could tell that he had something to say. "About that? I didn't exactly save your daughter."

"What are you implying?" Pave's husband questioned the armoured individual as he narrowed his eyes at him.

"Well…how do I even word this out? Before that animal was about to maul your daughter, and I don't mean it to imply rudely, but she somehow manage to calm it down."

"Our daughter calming down the animal down?" Pave said while looking at the lone human individuals in curiosity.

"Ah, I know what you mean by your words," The Village Elder Spoke grabbing the three adults and the baby's attention. She slowly walked towards where Ahsoka was and she looked at her, "You have a future, young one. I can tell. But whatever happens to you, do not fear it, Jedi."

Pave-Ti and her husband were confused to what the village elder was saying until she stated something that made the married couple shaken to their core. "Ahsoka is Jedi."

Hearing what the Elder Torgrutan had to say made them widen their eyes upon hearing this. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.

Their baby daughter, Ahsoka Tano…

"Excuse me?" the Togrutans turned their attention to the Courier who seemed like he was in a complete state of confusion. "I apologise if I abruptly dodge in, but what are you even implying that Ahsoka is this Jedi thing you mentioned?"

-Change Scene-

Well, that was a lot of information for the Courier to take in.

After returning to the village after their hunt, the Courier had a meeting with the Village Elder. He knew that it was all about what he had just witnessed.

Turns out, Ahsoka was Force Sensitive according to what she had told him. And speaking about the Force serious made him wonder what it is. Perhaps he might do some research in the near future.

If that wasn't bad new to him at least, he was told about an organisation within a Galactic State called the Galactic Republic.

Said Organization was none other than the "famous" Jedi Order.

Turns out, if a Jedi is aware that a child is Force Sensitive, they would get the child and be taught everything about their order at a young age.

But to the Courier, he serious wondered if they were literally indoctrinating little kids and babies to be part of a legal Cult within this Galactic Republic. But then again, he has to consider that they are going to be Protectors and Peace Keepers when they grow up.

When their meeting was over, the Courier decided to help around the village before departing the next day to continue with his job to deliver a package to the Capital City, Corvala. There weren't too many errands to do considering that it is just a small settlement, but at least he manage to earn the settler's respect for helping them.

The next day had arrived and a certain family was with the Courier in the entrance of their settlement in the early hours of the day. He had his weapons with him and was about to leave when all of a sudden the baby Ahsoka hugged his leg.

This along made him crouch down to her level and pattered the top of her head with his free right hand. He wanted her to be comforted before he would resume in doing his job. "Hey now, I know you are going to miss me, but we'll meet each other again one day. Someday, you'll be what your Elder has told you. Just remember me by the short amount of time we spent together."

The little Togrutan baby looked up at him and nodded before she rubbed a few tears away that were forming around her eyes. She then proceeded to pull a folded paper out from her pocket and proceeded to give it to him.

"What's this?" The Courier said as he kindly grabbed the folded paper and unfolded it to reveal a poorly drawn art of his helmet. Despite this, it made him smile that was formed behind his helmet.

"Ahsoka couldn't really stop thinking about you." Pave informed the masked human.

"Really now?" He looked over at her before he turned to face the little child. "Thank you, Ahsoka. I really appreciate the gift." The Courier proceed the fold the paper and put it on his trench pocket.

Hearing this made the baby gurgle in happiness as she gave the Courier one last hug around his right leg before he stood up and made her way back towards her parents.

Waving the Courier goodbye, he proceeded to make his way out of the village. If there was a single thing he wanted to say, that had to be one of the most peaceful yet intriguing things he had ever experienced. He'll sure to write it down when he gets a chance of obtaining a Journal.

A few hours had passed and the Courier looked at his Pip Boy to see that he was only just half way towards his destination. Despite the Journey being lacklustre yet interesting experiences, he knew he has to get a job done.

Looking up to the sky, he saw a weird looking bird flying in circles to where he was at. He didn't know what it means, but his mind informed him that it means something very important.

Pulling his modified Lazer out from his back, he looked at his directions as he continued to make his way to his designation location.

He is about to get the job done as soon as he could humanly can.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Apology for the poor writing but I wanted to publish a chapter and with that done, I am gonna need to rest. Damn, I never knew Star Wars has a complex lore and history. Perhaps I need some help but damn, it is very hard to do. Guess that happens when you are literally writing a Fanfiction story and have some knowledge of the two big Franchises.

Anyway, I will see you when I am done with resting as I have other ideas that is in my head. I will see you all in the next chapter whenever it gets published.
