It was getting towards the late morning in the Heeler house and the family had finished breakfast, Chilli suggested that the family should go the park since today was just so clear and sunny. Bandit and the kids agreed and the family decided to have a Picnic over there. Chilli and Bandit gave the kids ten minutes to pack anything they felt like taking. Bluey chose to bring her special toy, Polly Puppy. Bingo decided to bring her bunny doll, Floppy. Levon on the other hand opted on bringing his dark brown satchel and his little black book to do some drawing in. Levon was excited to to go and hang out with out with his family, but his arm started to itch all of the sudden like something supernatural was telling him that an event will happen that will change the course of how today will pan out. Levon gave it some thought, then it clicked in his mind and he decided to take some more items to the Park.
"All right kids you, ready to go to the park?" Bandit shouted upstairs, Bluey and Bingo coming down giggling and in a hustle answering his question, Bandit realized he was one kid short and went up the stairs to investigate. He found his son and saw a small luggage bag packed with five towels and two large blankets neatly and rolled up. "What's all this son?" Bandit asked as Levon zipped up the luggage bag, " Just packing some essentials." he said as he tapped the side of the bag. Bandit had more questions then answers. "But, Levon I looked on the Telly and my phone and the weather is said hold up all day with zero percent chance of rain." Bandit argued. " I know dad but isn't it better to have something and not need it, then to need and not have it?" The wolf preteen counter argued, leaving his father without a rebuttal.
Chilli was leaning on the right side of the car waiting on her husband and son. Bluey and bingo were playing with their respected toys while waiting on their father and brother. Levon eventually came walking up to the Heeler-mobile as he nick named the family car with his rolling luggage bag. "Honey, why are you bringing that bag?" Chilli asked. "I don't know mom, just had an itchy arm." Chilli saw Bandit walking with the picnic supplies not far behind and opened her mouth to ask her husband. "I asked too, probably for the best to just roll with it Babe." He responded as he placed the supplies in the boot of the car. Chilli shrugged as she got into the driver's side and started the car. Levon opened the back door and pushed his luggage into the spot in between Bluey and Bingo. "Excuse me Bluey, watch your legs." he said as he got in and leaned over Bluey to close the door. Once the door was closed he buckled his seatbelt and made sure his sisters had their seatbelts on.
"Alright then, you kids strapped in?" Chilli asked as she adjusted the rearview mirror to see her kids in the backseat. "Yes mum." All three heeler children replied with excited smiles and equally excited wagging tails. "Okay, onward to the park!" Bandit called out tapped the side of the Heeler-mobile. Chilli rolled her eyes smiling at her husbands energy as she pulled out of the driveway of their home. The Heeler family took the time to honk the horn and wave to their closest friends and neighbours, as they pulled out of the Cul-de-Sac and headed in the direction of the park. "Bluey, what are we gonna do, when we get to the park?" Bingo asked as she brushed Floppy with a toy hair brush. Bluey thought about it a good second. "How about we play Tea Party and Floppy and Polly Puppy can get to know each other." she said as she cuddled the latter. "Levon, do you wanna play Tea Party with us?" Bingo asked as she the wolf tween in question. "That depends am I invited to the Tea Party?" he asked. " Of course you're invited." Bingo responded giggling at her brother's playful demeanor. "Then consider me there!" Levon promised with his right hand on on heart and his left hand pointing up while keeping a "serious" expression. Bluey and Bingo belly laughed and Levon couldn't hold his expression for long as he too joined his sisters in the laughter, as the car came to a stop at a red light.
Chilli smiled and kept herself from getting emotional as she thought how her daughters loved Levon and how much he cared for his sisters. Even though He wasn't her and Bandit's real child, she didn't care, she and bandit loved him as if he was their own child. There wasn't a doubt in her heart, her soul, her every fiber of her being that said that Levon wasn't her son. She was snapped out of train of thought as she felt the hand of her husband holding hers, she looked at him and saw he was smiling and had tear on the edge of eye as if he read her mind and knew deep down to his very core... that Levon IS their son and nothing could change their minds about it."The gnome is painting the Traffic Light Green." Bingo said breaking her parents out of their trance. Chilli saw the light and went on her way, she quickly rubbed her eye of any tears and sniffled. "Are you okay Mum?" Levon looked concerned as to what was bothering her and his dad. "We're fine kid, we're just having a moment." Bandit responded smiling at his son and being so proud to have raised him to care about his parents well-being.
Levon looked at his sisters and they all shrugged, parents or grown ups in general were very confusing sometimes. The Heeler-mobile pulled up on the park and came to a stop, finally at their destination. Bluey and Bingo's tails wagged with excitement as they unbuckled their seatbelts, grabbed their belongings, and They waited for their mom to get out of the car and open the backdoor. As soon as she opened it, Bluey and Bingo ran out to go roll around in the grass and giggled with glee. "Come on Levon, the grass feels sooo good!" Bluey exclaimed. "I will sis, just let me help mum and dad unpack the picnic stuff and I'll come join you." he responded. "Okay!" both girls said as they ran off to play. Levon went to to grab the picnic supplies, "Don't worry about this mate, we can handle this." Bandit grabbing the picnic blanket. Levon looked at his dad unsure if he should leave his parents to carry all this stuff from the boot of the car. Chilli placed a hand on shoulder, " It's okay honey, go play with your sisters. We'll call you when it's time." Levon saw the smile on his mum's face. "Okay mum, We'll see you later after tea." he said as ran to go find his sisters. Chilli and Bandit smiled as they watched their son run off. "He's such a good kid." Bandit said as he placed his arm around his wife's shoulder. "Because, we raised him and his sisters to be a good kids." Chilli said as her and bandit leaned their heads against each other as they watched their son run.
