She woke up in agony.
She gingerly tried to move her arms and legs and was thankful to find them in working order. Her vision blurred as she squinted her eyes open to take in her surroundings. It was dusk by the look of it and she was surrounded on all sides by tree's, her body cushioned by soft green grass. It took all of her strength to force herself into a sitting position and her stomach protested uneasily as a wave of nausea overcame her. She let her eye's close again and she raised a hand to clutch at her chest...It felt as though there should be a hole where her heart was but that's impossible, she was whole to the touch and had no idea where that panicked thought came from. Nevertheless, she looked down and indeed, there was a vertical tear in the dress she was wearing, sitting just between her breasts. It was a beautiful gown, as white as snow with a high neckline, long flowy sleeves and fell well past her feet. Embroidered with simple flower designs of all colors along her arms, around her cinched in waist and most likely a smattering of other places she could not see. Her hair fell almost to the ground, and she thoughtfully let her hand play with an errant strand that had fallen over her shoulder. She was kissed by fire, a beautiful dark red that seemed to shine even with the sun low in the sky.
After a few more moments, she raised herself to her bare feet, leaning heavily on the thick trunk of one of the many trees surrounding her. She had no idea where she was or where she had come from, and she slowly felt panic setting in. She quelled it sharply; this was no time to allow her emotions to overpower her. She had to find someone, she didn't care who, just that she hoped they were kind enough to help her. She found her footing, lifted up the hem of her dress and made her way to a point in the forest where the foliage was less dense and finally looked up. She could see a wall a short distance away from her, looming just above the tree line, looking as though it stretched around a massive area within. A small smile came unbidden to her face because where there were wall's there must people. She started towards it and quickly realized she would have to pick a direction to follow it along to hopefully come across an entrance of some kind, so with a small sigh she went left.
She could not have been walking long when she saw a dirt road in the distance which signaled an entranceway. Her feet stopped without her permission and all her bravado left her at once. She realized she was truly terrified. She had no idea what she would find around that slight corner, who would be living here and what kind of reception may be granted to her. She knew enough to know she had no choice though. She resigned herself to putting one-foot Infront of the other until she turned her head round the entrance and stopped dead in her tracks.
A giant village loomed before her, backdropped by a mountain that appeared at a closer glance to have faces carved into It, four faces to be exact. At this distance though, she could not accurately make out any particular features as she was interrupted by a gasp and the sound of someone dropping something a short distance to her left. She turned her head and took in the two men seated just inside the entrance. They must be guard's she thought quickly. Of course, a village of this size would have guards. One had long, spiky, black hair and dark brown eyes, a strip of bandage running across the bridge of his nose and a marking of some kind on his chin. The other also had dark eyes and brown hair that covered his right one. Both were wearing a uniform that covered their arms and legs with a jacket as their second layer. Most curious was their headband. A shining piece of metal that held some kind of... Spiral she thought incredulously. A spiral with a triangle attached to it.
How odd
She gave them a smile and took a small step towards them.
"Hello" she said softly. "I appear to be lost."
The man with the spiky hair did something odd with his hands and he disappeared. She blinked once and he was still gone. She gaped.
Magic
She took a step back in surprise and the remaining man was quick to reassure her.
"I'm Izumo and my friend Kotetsu has gone to fetch our Hokage to greet you. You're in Konoha, the village hidden in the leaves" He stopped to rub a hand down his face. "Omegas are thought to be extinct. I can't believe you're here"
Almost all of those word's made little sense to her.
What on earth is an omega?
