The Doctor's Spiritual Connection:
The Doctor who was a Time Lord had a special power called regeneration where she didn't die and she had regenerated twelve times. After meeting Goddess Lalita Mother Para Shakti had told the Doctor that her powers were special but they will run out.
So she decided to go to Mount Kailash where Lord Shiva and his consort Mother Goddess Adi Shakti lived. So with that she set the TARDIS coordinates to Mount Kailash.
She soon arrived and stepped out of the TARDIS when all of a sudden a devotee by the name of Nandi appeared.
" Welcome to Mount Kailash dear lady" said Nandi.
"I'm here to Lord Shiva and Mother Goddess Adi Shakti" the Doctor requested.
Nandi nodded and ushered the Doctor to follow him where Lord Shiva and Goddess Mother Adi Shakti were.
"My Lord, mother, there's someone here to see you!" Nandi told them.
Lord Shiva and Goddess Mother Adi shakti looked up at the Doctor.
"Doctor, how lovely to see you!" said Goddess Mother Adi Shakti.
" I've come to see you as Mother Goddess Lalita Para Shakti told me that my regeneration powers are special but since then I've been very confused" the Doctor explained.
"Doctor, your regeneration powers are special as they're similar to reincarnation as for humans it takes years until humans are reborn whereas for you it takes a matter of seconds for you to take rebirth" said Mother Goddess Adi Shakti.
Suddenly a man dressed in black appeared.
" Greetings Lord Shiva, mother" he said.
The Doctor looked at the man.
"Doctor, this is Lord Yam the god of death!" said Lord Shiva.
"I've been after you for a very long time!" Lord Yam told the Doctor.
"You've been cheating and escaping death due to your regeneration powers!" Lord Yam explained.
The Doctor couldn't believe what she was hearing.
Lord Yam looked very angry.
"I, Lord Yam curse you Doctor that your current regeneration will be your last and you will die like mortal humans!" Lord Yam bellowed.
The Doctor couldn't understand why Lord Yam had cursed her. But didn't think much of it.
So with that the Doctor left Mount Kailash and was feeling scared due to Lord Yam's curse. This fear brought back memories when her own people the Time Lords stranded her on earth during her second regeneration form. But she had no idea when Lord Yam's curse would take effect!
