Fairy Tail had won the Great Magical Games and after all the guilds united to fight against was a though battle,but they had a thank them,the King had invited all the guilds that had participated in the games to a banquet in the Palace to celebrate.
During the banquet,Juvia Lockser,Fairy Tail's water mage,built up her courage and confessed to her great love,Gray Fullbuster,Fairy Tail's ice mage.
But,unfortunately,things didn't turn out the way she had imagined or wanted.
Gray didn't return her didn't say that he felt the didn't invite her to dance,he didn't smile at her,and he didn't tell her that she was beautiful.
No,Gray had cruelly rejected had told her in no uncertain terms that he,like her,had entered a new era and that he would now he'd honestly say no things he didn't like.
She tried to get closer to him,but the ice mage told her that he found her creepy and that she seemed like a machine.
Gray had broken her heart,but she,being the great actress that she was,didn't tell him,no,she just acted like she always did in his presence,like an enamored fool.
She even laughed silly,despite the fact that she was crying on the inside,but no,she wouldn't cry,she wouldn't make a scene,she wouldn't make him do something that he clearly didn't want to do.
She had accepted his rejection and after assuring him that everything was fine,made her way to the balcony,but no before stopping and calming down her best friend who had heard everything and was ready to hit the ice mage.
"Stop,Gajeel-Kun!Stay calm!"
"No!This jerk deserves to be thaught a lesson,he'll listen to me!"Gajeel said, walking towards Fullbuster to confront him.
"No!"Juvia said, raising her voice a little, so much so that someone turned to look at them "We're in public!"the girl pointed out to her best friend, lowering her voice so that no one could hear the conversation.
"Don't fight!Don't cause a fuss over such nosense and do not get upset."
She told him with a reproachful look,that she used to wear in Phantom or on missions,when he ended up causing trouble.
"But.."Gajeel said.
"But nothing!Juvia is fine!Really,she is okay,she just needs to get a little air,but she's fine."
"Are you trying to convince me or yourself?"
" just needs some fresh air and to be alone."
"Alright."
"Promise Juvia that you won't do anything."
"Even though the stripper deserves a beating,I promise I won't do anything..."he promised, snorting.
"Thank you,Gajeel-Kun."
Gajeel watched her rush out and inside he just wanted to kick that had heard everything,everything,and yes,perhaps Juvia had exaggerated,but that jerk had no right to break her heart like said she seemed like a machine,but what did he know?Nothing!
Gray didn't know that Juvia was trying to change herself,that she was doing everything possible to be a better person and leave behind her past and what happened in Phantom,where she was a real machine whitout emotions,but that was the only way to survive in a place like that.
Gajeel grew more enraged because he swore to himself that he would never let another stupid boy break the heart of his best friend,but now she was outside,with her heart broken and he felt that he had failed,because he couldn't help,he couldn't do anything to console her.
"Everything will be fine,Gajeel,"said Lily by his side.
The exceed was also worried about the water mage,Lily had come to learn and appreciate Juvia,he understood that she was very important to the Dragon Gajeel she was much more than a best friend,she was his little sister.
"I know,but i hate not being able to do anything."
"She'll be fine,even without needs to be alone,she told her let off some steam."
"Yes,i know..."
"Shall we go find Levy?"
" 's go find the shrimp,she's sure to get lost in the library,gihi."

Juvia stepped out onto the balcony where there was thankfully no one else,she took a deep breath and dried the tears that had fallen.
She looked at the sky,hoping and praying that it wouldn't rain,that would be a tragedy,because everyone knew that the rain followed her,they'd be worried and worse they'd be angry ad Gray-Sama which she didn't want.
No,she didn't want Erza-San,Mira-San,Cana-San,Lucy-San,and everyone else to blame him for her current state,she didn't want to ruin the party and everyone's happiness,the way she always would.
Juvia didn't blame wasn't his fault that he didn't return her blamed herself and her heart,for fooling herself into believing in something that could clearly never happen,even though she wanted it with all her heart...
Juvia didn't choose to fall in love,as a child she realy want it so,she believed in white knights and happily ever afters,but afterwards,after growing up,life had shown her that things like that only existed in books.
And to tell the truth,she had stopped believing in love and stopped waiting and wishing for a man to love her,after her break up with Bora.
"Did you really think i loved you?Please!Who could love such a gloomy rain woman like you?You're too sad and depressing!"
Those were the words of the fire mage,when he broke up with her in a park for lovers,alone on a bench asking herself why she was and felt so miserable.
And after a while she had come to believe it,true she had her insicurities before meeting him,but Bora had without a doubt augmented them,leaving her even more gloomy and sad,until she met Gray.
He had shown her the sun,literally,and she,so blinded and beautifully surprised by love,choose to follow him to Fairy Tail and discovered a new she liked the new Juvia and she wanted to improver herself more and more.
How strange,no?
She had felt so sad,cold and alone next to a fire mage but felt so happy,warm,and full of love next to an ice mage.
Despite this,things didn't change one of them loved her.
And she never loved Bora,she's admit,she was mistaken then,but she did love Gray.
Yes,Juvia loved really loved him,even though it seemed absurd and no one believed it,she loved him,but it looked like even love hurt her.
It was so complicated and sometimes she wished she didn't love him,deciding herself that she had enough problems and struggles and Gajeel was right,she needed to find a good man who loved her and gave her what she deserved.
But she deserve true love?
She honestly didn't know,after bringing so much pain,so much rain,so much sadness...
Why couldn't every be easier?
Why couldn't love be simple?
Why was it that when you loved someone they couldn't love you back?
Why do you have to suffer?
Why was love,the most beautiful,purest feeling,also have to hurt?
Why?

Lyon was watching Juvia from behind a curtain,he had seen and heard everything that had happened with Gray and he saw her smile and say everything was fine and leave,and he decided to follow her.
There he watched her take off the happy facade and drown herself in sadness,with tears falling from her gorgeous blue eyes.
And he felt terrible,he wised he could come out from his hiding place and dry her tears and tell her to forget about Gray's cruel they weren't she wasn't creepy,that she wasn't a that he liked Juvia 2. really loved all of didn't have to change herself to please him,she was perfect like she was:natural,pretty,clear and pure like water.
But he didn't do it,he remained hidden in his hiding spot,while watching her wipe her tears alone and breath out in an attempt to calm down,then move her gaze towards the sky and sigh a special prayer for no rain,to the merciful sky.
Lyon also cried upon seeing her cry,he cried of rage and pain,rage at Gray,for being so stupid and not realizing how lucky he was,and pain at seeing how much the girl he loved suffer and he couldn't do anything.
Lyon wanted to run out to her,hug her,and tell her that she was special to him,and,if she allowed it,he would love her the way she deserved to be loved,he'd give her the whole world and he'd never make her cry.
Yes,it was true,he had just given up his feelings for her,but it was one thing to realize that your feelings aren't returned and try to move forward and another to forget about them.
And how can you forget,erase,and take out what is inside your heart?
No one believed that his feelings were true,everyone thought that she was just a crush,but every time he saw her he felt his heart beat fast.
Everyone laughed at that,disparaging his feelings.
But was it a crime to fall in love?
Was love at first sight so absurd?
They didn't choose who they fell in love with,he didn't choose to fall in love with her the same way that she didn't choose to fall in love with Gray,it just happened.
Why did they have to suffer?
Why did she have to put up with Gray's rejections,and he had to accept that his feelings weren't reciprocated?
Why couldn't they be happy without suffering?
Haven't they been through enough?
Hadn't they suffered enough?
Wasn't love supposed to be their reward?
The situation was almost funny.
Lyon was in love with Juvia,she didn't return his feelings because she was in love with Gray,who rejected her.
They were two sides of the same coin,both suffering beacause of a love that hurt them,broke them,although they didn't show it.
They were both young souls who only desired love.
Who didn't want love?
Afterall,everyone wanted to be loved,even if loving hurt.

Hi!
Here is a new fanfic,this time a little sad.
Unrequited love,how sad!
Honestly,i believe that Juvia feels hurt from Gray's rejections but she just doesn't show it,I also suppose that she is used to being rejected all the time.
I believe that she has a mask,in Phantom it was an emotionless face,expressionless and somber,while in Fairy Tail it is a mask of happiness even when something sad happens and hurt her.
Therefore I imagine her worried about the rain,thinking that it could ruin her friend's party,I see very sensitive about this issue.
That is to say,that for her it was a trauma.
And with Lyon,I always asked myself if his feelings were real or simply a crush.
But i believe that they are,what comes next is another thing.
I think that he gave up because in the final games and during the battle with the mini-dragons that he noticed something in Gray that made him realize that he too felt the same,but he was too tsundere to admit it.
A great trio!
Anyway,I love Gruvia and I am happy that they're finally canon,but I have to admit that for a few moments Gray really was an idiot..
