AN: Hey,y'all. This is my first One Piece and my first Robin x Nami fanfic. I hope y'all will enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoyed writing it. Now on with the story.

It's been a month and a half since Brook became part of the Straw Hats and Robin had to put off her coming out until she got to know him better. He's a good guy, despite being a living, talking skeleton. Chopper knew that she was trans and pansexual since he was the ship's doctor. She came out to him so that he could help her get her hormones before they left Water 7. He was accepting and supportive. He was also very happy to help out one of his closest friends get what she needed.
Robin had enough of her medicine to last for several months. She honestly couldn't afford to run out. She was sitting in one of the lounge chairs that's on the deck of the Thousand Sunny. Robin was enjoying the breeze and the sunlight while trying to read one of her newest books she bought not long after she heard that Galley-La finished helping Franky build their new ship.
She had planned on coming out to just Nami so that she could tell her she's had a crush on her since she first joined them after Luffy had both saved her life and defeated Crocodile back in Alabaster. Nami was just so beautiful, charming, and sweet. Whenever she's hanging out with her, Robin ends up blushing bright red and trying to make sure that nobody noticed how red her face had gotten during those times.
She had been attracted to a lot of people throughout her life, but she's never dated any of them, unfortunately, due to the fact she was always on the run and trying to stay alive. That was a part of her past, not her present. Robin wanted to be happy with the people she loved the most in the world. She only had romantic feelings for one of them, which was Nami.
Robin didn't feel like putting her book down just yet, instead, she used her Devil Fruit powers to bring her the drink that Sanji made for her. She didn't always use her powers like that, although she did do it on occasion. Robin finished half of it before setting the glass back down. She spent another thirty minutes reading, then she went to the ship's library, putting the book away. She returned to the deck, deciding to watch her crewmates' usual antics. Robin chuckled softly, it's something she hoped would never change.
She lost track of time and didn't see Nami sitting in the other chair next to her own until she tapped Robin on her shoulder. Robin felt her face turn bright red as Nami smiled at her. She loved Nami's smile.
"Hey, you okay? You've been really quiet lately. Well, quieter than usual anyway." Nami stated. She's been worried about her friend, but she knew that Robin would tell her if anything was really bothering her. She always did.
"Yes, I'm fine. I've just had a lot of things on my mind lately is all. There is something that I want to tell you and the rest of the crew. Which will probably be pretty soon." Robin replied, picking her book back up and began reading once more. She glanced over to Nami to see she was asleep. When it was close to three in the afternoon, Robin gently shook her to wake up.
"Damn it, did I fall asleep? Sorry about that. I barely slept at all last night. The reason is probably because I've been having nightmares for the past week." Nami said, not wanting to spoil the mood by delving deeper into what those nightmares were about in the first place. She didn't want her friend to worry or get upset. She did know that Robin would always be there for her.
"Well, I'm here if you ever want to talk about it, Nami," Robin replied. She was curious, but Nami would tell whenever she was ready to. Since they sleep in the same bed, Robin couldn't help but hear what Nami would say in her sleep. The words that came out would usually be pretty mumbled, although sometimes Robin was able to catch certain names like Vivi and even her own every once in a while. Which she never mentioned to her friend.
"My nightmares have mostly been about you and Vivi. Specifically, losing the two of you during a battle between both other pirates and the navy. I fucking hate them so much because I can't handle anything like that happening for real." Nami said as she started to cry, she watched as Robin got up and wrapped her arms around her in a very welcomed hug.
"Nami, I promise that will never happen as long as I'm here with you." Robin said, holding her even tighter. She had no idea how long she and her friend just stood there on the deck of the Thousand Sunny hugging one another for what felt like dear life.
Eventually, Nami pulled away, wiping her tears away. She smiled at Robin before leaning forward and kissing her on the cheek. Both women blushed due to the kiss they just shared, even though it was only on the cheek.
"I'm going to finish some of my charts that I should have finished already. I'll see you later, okay?" Nami said, getting a nod in reply from Robin. She's been wanting to kiss Robin for a while now. She'll tell Robin about her feelings for her someday. Hopefully, she'll get the courage to do that sooner rather than later.
Robin sat back down on her chair, blinking slowly. She honestly wasn't expecting that, not that she would be complaining about it either. She saw a shadow on the grass, looking up she realized the shadow belonged to Franky, a fellow Straw Hat, and shipwright.
"Franky, you startled me. You can sit down if you want." Robin said as she watched Franky sit in the same chair Nami had been. It was hard to tell what Franky would say. He was unpredictable in that way. He was fun to be around and talk to. Franky was also the only other person on the ship who knew besides Chopper.
"Sorry. Didn't mean to. So I take it, you haven't told Nami how you feel about her yet? I know, I know, it's not my business. But as one of your best friends, I think that you should tell her soon. You'll never know what she will say or how she will react unless you tell her." Franky said, hoping that Robin wouldn't get mad at him. He was just worried it would be too late for her to tell Nami.
"And I will, at my own pace. Thank you for your concern though. I did plan on confessing my feelings back in Skypiea, but too much was going on. So I didn't do it then. I will do it soon. I'm going to get a drink. I suddenly have the need for one. We'll talk later, Franky." Robin said as she got up and walked towards the kitchen to have Sanji make her a drink. She'll keep in mind what Franky had just told her.
"That sounds super cool! I have to go work on an invention with Usopp anyway. So I'll see you later." Franky replied, striking his signature pose with a grin before walking away to join Usopp below deck in his workshop. Both men were working on a secret project for the past several weeks.
At one point, Nami got a horrible headache from all the noise that Usopp and Franky were causing, Robin had to actually hold her back from angrily stomping into their workshop and beating the two men to a pulp. After Chopper gave her some medicine, she calmed down. Robin was really worried about Nami because of that. Robin did buy Nami a book about dealing with anger issues and gave it to her the last time they found an island. And the orange-haired woman had been doing better.

A little bit over two hours had passed since the Straw Hats ate dinner. Everyone already went to sleep due to the late hour, but Robin was having trouble sleeping. She could hear Nami's soft breathing from next to her on their bed. The bed both women slept on was big enough for at least four to six people. It was just cheaper to buy one big bed than two medium-sized ones.
Robin noticed that Nami began to fidget in her sleep. She reached out to take one of Nami's hands into her own. When Robin heard her breathing even out once more, she fell asleep with a soft smile gracing her beautiful features while she still held Nami's hand. Because she was, she didn't see that Nami was also smiling.

AN2: And that's the end of this first chapter. I don't know when I'll be able to update this fanfic with the second chapter, although it might be before the end of September. I also need to update Two's Company, Dynamite Touch, Scream 5: Sisterly Love and Falling In Love For The First Time with brand new chapters too, which I do plan on doing soon. Probably in the next couple of months.
Thank all of y'all for reading, reviewing, favoriting, and following all of my fanfics. As always please read and review. Until next time.
