Unknown Place
Melody and Godzilla fell through the portal crashing on top of some sand. Godzilla was covered in all of this yellow sand and like a dog would if it was wet shook all the sand off of him. He looked over to see Kong's axe and picked it up before looking around at his surroundings before calling out, "Melody!"
"Over here Spiny!"
Godzilla turned to his right to see Melody on the ground. Godzilla helped her up with her wiping the sand off her clothes as well.
"Are you okay?" asked Godzilla in concern.
"Yeah I'm okay spiny..."
Melody lowered her head in silence until she looked up in the sky to see the portal gone. She knew that it might have taken her to another universe but it was the only way to escape but it meant leaving mom and dad behind.
Godzilla noticed this as well. He wished they had a better plan to help Eric and Ariel but considering the circumstances what Melody did was the only way. He crouched to one knee before placing his hands on Melody's shoulders in comfort.
"Don't worry Melody...we'll save your parents that I promise you."
Melody then looked up and smiled at Spiny's comment. She knew she could count on him no matter what the circumstance was. Melody looked around at her surrounding using her hand as a sun visor from the bright sun...as a matter of fact there was two suns! What kind of universe were they in? All it was was long strands of Desert land.
"what is this place Spiny?"
"I don't know...but it's a dessert world for sure," answered Spiny.
"Maybe there's a town nearby and they can tell us where we are," suggested Melody.
Godzilla nodded his head in approval...she was right of course if they needed a plan and to know where they are at they needed to find civilization.
"Agreed, but be cautious who knows what dangers lurk around this place."
Godzilla and Melody began their walk across this long desert landscape with hope of finding civilization.
a couple of hours later...
Godzilla and Melody are walking through the desert still both hungry and extremely dehydrated. This place was very hot and the fact it had two suns made it very difficult to walk through.
Melody especially was feeling more worse than Godzilla, she missed the ocean and at this point she needed water bad. Her vision began to get blurry before reaching out towards Godzilla.
"Sp...Sp...Spiny."
Godzilla turned to see Melody collapse from exhaustion. He ran towards her as quick as he could yelling out, "Melody!"
Godzilla picked her up and cradled her like a child trying to use his hide as a cover from the sun. He needed to find water sand fast or she was not gonna make it.
"Hold on Melody...we'll find some water."
Godzilla continued on clutching Melody as close as he can to block the suns for her. Suddenly, he heard strange noises that almost sounded like an engine. Before he knew if, a bunch of strange machines began approaching him with humans and what seemed to be alien like creatures riding them heading towards them.
The machines approached them and surrounded them until one of them said to him, "You look lost friend...new here or something?"
Godzilla stared at these people and can tell instantly this was a bunch that had bad intentions...but he needed to help Melody so he needed to play cool with this for now.
"Yes and were lost...can you point the nearest town for us?"
The strange group looked at each other and laughed at what Godzilla said. Was this a joke to them? Asking for a friend in need? He didn't know but was prepared for anything.
Then the group took out their weapons and aimed it at them. From what Godzilla can tell they were guns but looked more advanced than the ones he's seen. The same man that spoke to them took out a green rock and tossed it up in the air. Godzilla recognized that rock...it was Melody's.
"Judging by how you got some nice stuff on ya...how about you give us both the girl and the axe and we call it a deal."
Godzilla glared at this gang of misfits...there was no way they were taking Melody it would be over his dead body. They also needed that green rock to plan out their next move. Godzilla didn't want to place Melody in danger but he had to get both the rock and protect her.
"No."
The gang laughed again as the leader said pointing his weapon at him, "Wasn't a request there pal...time to die then."
Before anything could happen, a silver light like sword blew by cutting off the leader's arm that held the rock. It returned to back to it's owner's grasp to reveal a female alien warrior wearing a black cloak clutching another silver light sword in her other hand. The gang opened fired on her but she would block their attacks and deflect some of their weapon fire right back at them.
Godzilla sat Melody down before clutching his axe and approached the gang. With a mighty roar Godzilla sliced across two gang members with the axe before impaling the other with the bone tip end. A lazier bolt hit Godzilla in one of his dorsal fins as it broke it off. He turned to see three gang members looking on scared at this sight and with one quick fluid motion Godzilla used his tail to swipe away his opposition.
Meanwhile, the female warrior is fighting off some gang members of her own, slashing away at any that come towards her. Godzilla watched to see her fight with both ferocity and grace...he had never seen anything like it. A lot of the gang then hopped back on to their bikes and began riding away with the leader yelling out, "this isn't over...we'll get that girl one way or another."
Godzilla let out a defiant roar towards the leader. There was no way they were gonna take Melody even if he wasn't at full strength. Godzilla then turned towards the female warrior...though she had saved them he still was cautious. It was a standoff until he noticed hand movement and prepared for a strike until a lazier bolt went flying past his head. Godzilla turned to see a surviving gang member tried to shoot him but the female warrior used some sort of magic to flip the weapon to hit him instead.
Godzilla approached the gang member grabbing him by the shoulders and biting his head off before spitting it out towards the sandy area.
Godzilla turned towards the warrior again and didn't know whether to be grateful or cautious. The warrior then deactivated her weapons and then removed her hood to reveal another alien like humanoid only this time with blue and white head tails with orange skin and white markings on her face. Her face was that of beauty almost like Ariel's with the same blue eyes. Godzilla needed to know who she was and what kind of warrior she really is.
"Who are you?"
"Ahsoka...Ahsoka Tano, don't worry I mean you and your little friend no harm," answered the warrior named Ahsoka.
Ahsoka saw Melody lying on the desert floor and knew she needed help. Without hesitation Ahsoka walked towards Melody placing a hand on her forehead while closing her eyes...almost like she is using her magic.
"what are you doing?"
"Helping your friend...she suffered a major heat stroke so I'm using the force to help her," answered ahsoka.
The force? Is that what she calls her magic? Godzilla has never heard anything quite like that before. This made Godzilla very curious as all he could do was watch what was about to happen.
Ahsoka then reached into her pouch and pulled out a metal container, opening it and pouring in some water in Melody's mouth. Melody then grabbed the container and began taking more than just sips before opening her eyes to see who was helping her...a real life alien!
Melody gave a look of surprise before seeing Godzilla next to her crouching down with his eyes giving a look of relief.
"Melody, are you okay?"
"I'm okay Spiny but...who is this Spiny?" asked Melody as she sat up to look at ahsoka.
Ahsoka gave her a warm smile with a slight chuckle. "so that's what the big guys name is," thought ahsoka. It reminded her of when she was little and would call her master Skyguy.
"My name is ahsoka Tano young one...since you just told me your friend's name who might you be?"
"My name is Melody...I'm from another universe," answered Melody before covering her mouth as she didn't fully know whether to trust their might be new friend or not.
Ahsoka looked at both Melody and spiny...another universe huh? She didn't completely think this was crazy as after all she did discover time travelling and the possibility of other universes herself. Regardless, she knew they might need some help and she might be able to put aside her agenda to help them.
"It's okay...I believe you."
Melody looked shocked at this...she believed her! Either she's a sorcerer as well or maybe there's something more to her?
"Then can you help us? You see there's this evil sorcerer that tried to kidnap us but we were able to escape and now he has my parents and we have to use..."
Melody froze in her tracks...she tried to reach into her pockets to see that the magical skin was gone! How were they able to get home now? How were they gonna be able to save her parents now.
Ahsoka noticed this and without hesitation took something out of her pocket.
"I believe this is yours."
Melody looked on with a huge smile on her face to see it was the magic skin piece! Melody couldn't believe it! Now things are starting to turn around for them and they have made a new friend! Melody lunged over and gave Ahsoka a huge hug with tears streaming down her face.
Ahsoka could feel this girl's genuine appreciation for her and in return hugged her back as well. The two eventually broke the hug with Ahsoka handing Melody the little rock before looking at Godzilla.
"Thank you." was all Godzilla needed to say in that situation.
Ahsoka bowed to Godzilla before saying to them, "Well you have my help my friends...but we won't go alone."
Outskirts off Mos Espa
Ahsoka, Melody, and Godzilla eventually made it to a giant tan like palace. From what both Godzilla and Melody gathered from Ahsoka, this was the planet Tatooine and what they were approaching was Jabba's palace in the outskirts of Mos espa but now it belonged to someone else.
The three entered the palace with Melody looking on in awe at what was inside...she had never seen a place like this before. It was so big and so cool. Godzilla on the other hand was being cautious...who knows what was gonna happen.
The three then enter a chamber where they could see a throne where a man clad in green and red armor with black robes sat long with a woman clad in black armor stood next to him.
"WOW! This guy looks so cool! Is he the one were asking for help?" thought Melody to herself.
Ahsoka approached and bowed to them as she says, "Boba Fett, Daimyo of Mos Espa...I have come to ask for your help."
The man named Boba Fett reeled his head in a bit staring closely at Ahsoka and her two companions.
"Ah, Ahsoka Tano...last time I saw you was when you tried to cut Aurra Sing's head off. You were very reckless back then."
"I could say the same about you Boba...you tried to blow Master Plo's head off," argued ahsoka.
Boba couldn't help but let a small laugh out replying to her in his calm low tone, "Indeed, I guess we were both reckless in our youth."
"What kind of help do you want Ahsoka tano?" asked the woman next to Boba.
Before Ahsoka could answer Melody approached the two...she knew these two were warriors and they needed warriors to help them win this fight.
"Please sir, it's to help save my parents."
Ahsoka closed her eyes...she told the two to let her do the talking but she should have figured that Melody would have some sort of say in the matter.
Boba took notice of the little girl and asked in his cold tone, "What is your name child?"
"Melody sir, and this is my friend Spiny...we came from another universe and in need of some help. An evil sorcerer has kidnapped my parents and we think you can help us with it."
"If you want our help...it comes with a price," said the woman as Boba turned to look at her.
"We have no money on us...we just ask out of the goodness of your hearts to please help us," said Melody to the point she was about to beg.
Tears began to stream Melody's eyes as Godzilla approached her placing a hand on her right shoulder. He glared at the two before saying, "Come on...we don't need these two."
As they began to walk away, a voice called out to them yelling, "Wait!"
Out from the shadows came a silver armored warrior clutching a small green pointy eared alien child to which the woman said, "ah Mando and Grogu...we were wondering when you were coming back."
"I came because I was called here Fennec...by you Ahsoka."
Ahsoka looked on with a smile at the sight of her old friend before saying to him, "Hello Mando it's been a while. You as well grogu."
The child known as Grogu babbled with happiness till he looked over to see Melody. Grogu tilted his head in curiosity before reaching out to Melody wanting her to hold him.
Melody couldn't help but let out a big smile before acknowledging him by grasping him cuddling him around like he was a baby.
"Aw you are so cute! Yes you are! Look Spiny! A baby Alien named Grogu!"
Godzilla looked down at the child...this was the second time he met a child this small. the 1st time was that party that Melody and her family threw for him after saving her from Morgana. That child was cute...but this one was cuter!
Godzilla looked over to see both Mando and ahsoka talking to Boba Fett and the woman named Fennec. It sounded like Ahsoka knew this one called Mando and seemed like he was willing to help them...but can they convince the other two. He was about to get an answer soon enough as Boba looked up towards them. It was the moment of truth.
"After some careful discussion...this very moment you are under the protection of I Boba Fett...Daimyo of Mos Espa here on Tatooine."
What did that mean? Was that his way of saying he was willing to help...or just protection on this planet. They would never know as the same gang earlier busted out of nowhere aiming their weapons at everybody.
"what is the meaning of this...how did you get in the palace?" asked Boba in a demanding tone.
"Let's just say that we had help from some magic from a certain sorcerer names Shang Tsung...now hand us the girl."
So that was why they wanted Melody...Shang Tsung hired these goons to kidnap her. that wasn't gonna happen on Godzilla's watch or in this case his new friends.
"This girl is under our protection now...I would leave while you still have skins attached to yourselves," threatened Fennec.
This time the gang didn't say anything as they immediately started firing at them. Boba, Fennec, and Mando would fire back with their weapons while Ahsoka would use hers to repel the weapon fire back at them.
Godzilla was trying to cover Melody from the stray fire but some shots were to close of calls. Godzilla reared his head back saying to Melody, "You and Grogu go hide now!"
Melody did so and didn't think twice of it. She ran with grogu and his somewhere behind the throne area. She looked on to see the impressive display put on by the five, Fennec was firing headshots at some of the gang members, Boba would get hits in with his weapon before firing small rockets from his kneecaps, Mando would come from the other side with Spiny and Ahsoka...clearing out any gang members in their way.
It was literally a massacre all around. Godzilla would throw gang members around left and right allowing the others to use them as target practice. Ahsooka would cut down any gang members in her way.
Eventually. Godzilla would chop down the last gang member until a scream would be heard. Everyone turned to see the leader holding Melody and Grogu at gunpoint.
"Let them go!" lashed out Godzilla.
"Not a chance scaly, I'm taking this girl and there's nothing you can do about it."
Before the leader could do anything, his blaster was pulled away by Ahsoka while Mando uses his wrist wire to pull Melody and Grogu out of the way.
"Hey scumbag, have a nice trip," said boba as he pressed a button from his throne.
The leader looked down to see he was standing on top of a rancor pit. He let out a loud scream as he fell into the pit that would later follow a blood curdling scream to which Godzilla had Melody look away while Mando tried to cover Grogu's eyes but Grogu nudged his fingers a bit to see it.
After Boba's crew continues disposing of the bodies, Mando, Boba, and Fennec approach the group to which Mando tells them, "In case you guys haven't figured it out...I'm in. I'm having grogu stay here at the palace until I get back. Don't worry kid, we'll get your parents back."
Melody grew a huge smile and ran up to Mando giving him a huge hug which caused him to grunt. He looked around at everyone staring at him laughing except Godzilla since he can't laugh.
"You are not the only one...Fennec will stay here in my stead. I promised you protection and that means returning your parents to you when you are all safe and sound," said Boba Fett to the group.
Melody then ran towards Boba and gave him a huge hug too which actually shocked Boba.
"Thank you."
Melody then broke the hug and took out her magical piece of skin. With it a green energy beam shot out and created another portal. Melody looked at both Godzilla and her new friends with a smile on her face ready for this new adventure.
"Come on!" Melody ran inside the portal with Boba and Mando looking at each other. The two enter the portal together leaving Godzilla and Ahsoka last to enter. Ahsoka looked at Godzilla and could sense that this great beast was actually on his last legs and in truth who knows how long he truly has.
"She doesn't know does she?"
"No...not yet. I have to make sure she is reunited with her family," answered Godzilla.
Ahsoka placed her hand on Godzilla's shoulder before saying to him, "Try not to push yourself to hard, so far your all that little girl has left...she needs you."
Ahsoka then enters the portal with Godzilla looking on before he too stepped inside not knowing where they were going next.
