This will a one shot Quinntana story. It's my first so please bare with me. I do not own any characters
I don't understand, usually I'm very good at tearing people to pieces but today just wasn't it. I'm off my game and I hate it. I find myself smiling more and being approachable (thinking about it just make me want to barf).
But what can I say there's this special blonde that does that to me, she makes it all better and makes me want to be better and here I am the baddest bitch out there falling for those captivating eyes and that smile that seems carved by the angels themselves. Who would have thought that Santana Lopez baddest bitch out there would fall in love with one Quinn Fabray.
I know what you're thinking "She's meant to be with a certain blonde with blue eyes and killer dance moves" yes I thought that same but that's not what happened and let me tell you how it all went down.
"Santana he's not that bad and his parents are from a prestigious family" Quinn said as she tried to explain to Santana why Biff was "the one"
"Seriously Q?!" Santana yelled as she changed out of her work clothes into something more comfortable. "He's such a damn tool. He treats you like crap and never shows you off. I mean I get it you're not as hot as me but damn you're good looking too." Quinn rolls her eyes and just smiles. "You hitting on me Lopez?" Quinn teased "Don't flatter yourself Fabray, we both know we're hot and don't compete with anyone else for anyone's attention." Santana replied as she sat down next to Quinn on her bed.
Santana had a point, Quinn had been dating Biff for about five months now and he never showed her off or properly introduced her to anyone. She was there as just another body to make himself look good and then would ignore Quinn when they were together. When they went out to eat he would order for her and talk for her. You would think Quinn was dumb and never graduated early and top of her class from Yale with a Political Science degree. Santana hated Biff with every ounce of her being but she tolerated him because regardless of their ups and downs she had a soft spot for Quinn and she was the only one who was truly there for her when Brittany left her for another blonde with humongous lips. Quinn held Santana when she would cry in silence at nights and she was the one that held Santanas when Sam asked for her blessing to ask Brittany to marry him. Quinn was the one who stood hand in hand with Santana as they watched Brittany and Sam declare their love to each other in front of all their friends and family. They know each other like no other. Santana is the only person who saw Quinn through her many meltdowns in college and the only one who would show up and check on her when she disappeared due to the pressure of being Russell Fabrays daughter. You could say they complete each other and they work flawlessly. That's also why they lived together in a nice three bedroom apartment in Manhattan. Because unlike the other Glee members they actually like each other without limitations.
"So what bimbo will you be going out with tonight?" Quinn asked as they ate the left overs from the night before.
"I'm going out to Danni again, she's pretty cool and funny and honestly her ass is banging" Santana replied as she shamelessly stuffed a breadstick in her mouth.
Quinn didn't know why but she hated Danni, every time she was around Santana would act like she was the most interesting thing out there. And she hated that Santana would give her the smile that was only meant for Quinn. "Greeeeaatt" Quinn said rolling her eyes. "You know you could do so much better right?" Quinn said without looking up from her plate.
"Oh yeah? Like who" Santana asked looking over at Quinn. Quinn shrugged her shoulders and kept eating. After that they both went into their respected rooms to get ready for that night.
It was around 3am when Santana opened the door to their apartment she was upset because the night had not gone as planned. All she wanted to do was to change, wash her face and go to sleep. But when she entered she could hear sniffles coming from the living room. She was surprised because usually Quinn would either be asleep or would stay with Sargent douchbag. She looked over and saw Quinn on the couch with her knees up to her chest and her face buried in them crying. She walked over and felt anger to see Quinn still in her sundress crying. She reached over and a startled Quinn looked up and in that moment something changed the way the moon shined off her hazel eyes and how her rosy face outlined her natural beauty it was as if someone had stopped time and Santana was looking at Quinn as if it was the first time. Seeing her eyes filled with tears made Santana want to protect her for ever, to never cause her that pain. Her heart sank but at the same time felt as it accelerated. Santana just held Quinn and kissed the top of her head and Quinn held onto Santana as if she was the only thing keeping her afloat.
"He introduced me as a friend" is all Quinn said "He flirted with other girls and just left me there looking dumb" Santana could feel the anger rising up but she kept quiet till she could put together the words to say.
"He's an idiot, he doesn't deserve you." Is all Santana could say. Quinn looked up at her and they made eye contact and once again Santana didn't know why but she could look at those eyes for the rest of her life.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Quinn asked "How?" Is all Santana could say. "As if you figured out the answer to an important question." Quinn said still not breaking eye contact "Maybe because I have, but I'm not sure." Santana said breaking the eye contact and getting up to grab a water.
"Why are you back and where's Danni?" Quinn asked. "Well that's a funny story actually, I asked her where she saw our relationship going and she freaked out and said "oh I don't see you as the one I settle with" can you believe that?" Santana said with disappointment in her voice.
Quinn stood there looking at Santana and she wondered why she always went after girls that never valued the amazing woman she was. She had a Business Marketing degree from Columbia University and had an amazing job. She is the best at everything she doesn't and anyone would be lucky to have. Hell even Quinn knew she was amazing in bed but that doesn't cut how attentive she is and how her dimples show when he has the genuine smile and how when she hold you it feels like home. How she always makes sure you're fed and safe. How she can always make you smile with a snarky comment or with her typical "wanky" response. She never understood how when all their friends told her that Santana wouldn't amount to anything she didn't believe them because she saw a side of the Latina that no one not even Brittany ever saw. It was a side only Quinn knew and a side that now that this fiery Latina standing there actually being vulnerable and upset Quinn realize was a side she loved but maybe not as a friendly love but actually love love. Maybe that's why no boyfriend was ever good enough for her because they could never make her feel at home like this girl did. They couldn't heal her like this beautiful woman could. And then something click.
"You deserve better" Quinn said and Santana looked up and with out any mask pretending to be tough Santana looked at Quinn with a soft smile and asked "oh yeah? And who is that?" Quinn crossed the wrapped her arms around Santana's neck and Santanas hand immediately wrapped around Quinn's waist. It was as if they both melted into each other and for the both of them it just felt right.
"If you were my girl I would show you off every chance I had and I would treat you like the queen you deserve to be" Santana said looking at Quinn's eyes with such softness and care. "Please don't hurt me, I'm yours if you're mine." Quinn responded with a soft tone to her voice. "If you ask, I'll behave beautifully" Santana responded. Both their lips met and it was as if they were both coming home.
