Was in the mood to do a Peter/Felicia story. This is set in the 1994 animated series and it's a follow-up to Bl4ckHunter's "Resurfaced love" and "I'm here for you."

Parker House, Queens, Morning

Peter Parker was lying in bed with Felicia Hardy, sleeping peacefully beside him. The bedsheet covered their naked bodies as they were sleeping together and Felicia's towel was placed on the floor, alongside the pieces of the Spider-Man and Black Cat suits.

After defeating Queen Miriam, Felicia chose to stay with Peter instead of going with Blade and Morbius, as she saw that Morbius was not the same man she fell in love with and wanted to help Peter as he was still dealing with Mary Jane Watson's disappearance. When both Peter and Felicia found out about their identities, her buried feelings towards Peter began to resurface as she quickly realized that her anger towards him was misplaced since he was, in fact, trying to save many people's lives, including her own, countless times.

That was why she chose to remain with Peter following the defeat of Queen Miriam, as she felt that Peter still needed her and both of them worked great as a team. That night, Felicia remained at Peter's house, where he lived alongside his Aunt May, and comforted him for his guilt of losing Mary Jane when he was fighting against the Green Goblin, not wanting him to feel the same way she felt when Kingpin broke her father out of prison and forced him to reveal the Super Soldier Formula. Soon afterwards, Peter and Felicia spent the night together, their romance rekindled once more.

Suddenly, the alarm in Peter's room ticked off, causing Peter to wake up and turn off the alarm before turning around to see Felicia sleeping besides him and smiling. He had seen her smile before, such as their dance at her family's Charity Ball or when he saved her from Green Goblin, but this smile... he hadn't seen in her this happy in a very long time.

"Hey." Felicia greeted Peter, her wide smile visible on her face.

"Hey." Peter told Felicia.

"I haven't slept so peacefully in a long time." Felicia teased as Peter wrapped his arms around her and she placed her arm around his neck.

"Guess it didn't hurt to see what would happen to us, right?" Peter told Felicia.

"Yeah, I guess so." Felicia nodded. "I thought me and Michael would have the same spark as us, but I always believed something just felt off. While I still love him, I'm just not sure if I can be with him now, not when you need me."

"Yeah. I had the same feeling when I was with Mary Jane. Though I still miss her, there were times when Mary Jane acted very jealous, like the time when she got involved with Harry. After the whole ordeal with the Goblin, maybe I was afraid to admit that I've found something I've been looking for my whole life..." Peter explained as he looked at Felicia's eyes.

"Is that so, tiger?" Felicia teased.

"Yeah, and it's right in front of me." Peter said as Felicia laughed and Peter kissed her. "You are so beautiful."

Peter embraced Felicia and shared a peaceful moment together for a moment.

"I'm going to make us some coffee." Felicia told Peter as she got out of bed and picked up Peter's shirt, while Peter remained in bed and saw Felicia heading downstairs to the kitchen.

Kitchen, Parker House

Felicia, now donning Peter's shirt, arrived at the kitchen and opened the refrigerator, where she picked up the coffee, wanting to prepare it for her and Peter in order to get up. Then, Felicia then turned around and saw May in the kitchen. May was surprised to see Felicia inside her house, as she had never seen her enter her nephew's house before.

"Good morning." May greeted Felicia, who was also surprised to see her awake.

"May? I thought you were asleep." Felicia said, recalling their last meeting at the Charity Ball.

"I just woke up early and I wanted to prepare breakfast." May told Felicia. "What are you doing here, my dear?"

"Well, um, I just stayed here with Peter last night and we slept together." Felicia told May, as she was shy about the situation.

"And how long you two have been together?" May asked as Felicia was lost for words before Peter arrived, now fully dressed, at the kitchen.

"Aunt May! Good morning! I swear, this is not what it looks like." Peter nervously told May, trying to hide his relationship with Felicia.

"Then what does it look like?" May asked her nephew.

"Felicia stayed with me last night and we spent the night together." Peter told May.

"That is what Felicia told me a minute ago. Are you hiding something from me. Peter?" May asked, weary of her nephew

"No, um..." Peter muttered as he was lost for words while Felicia glanced at him. "It isn't that we're together or..."

"Peter!" Felicia told Peter as she looked him.

"I don't know what to say to her." Peter admitted as he still saw May tilting her head at him, waiting for her nephew to answer. "Can we talk about this at breakfast? Felicia can join us."

"That sounds perfect." May nodded.

"Right. I'm going to change." Felicia said before heading to the bedroom to take a shower and change her clothes.

"I can give you some of my old clothes." May told Felicia.

"Thank you, May." Felicia thanked May before she headed to the bedroom to change her clothes while Peter went to prepare breakfast for him, May and Felicia. He was ready to tell everything about his relationship with Felicia, though May was a bit weary due to Mary Jane's disappearance. Nonetheless, she was still happy that Peter was able to move on from his grief and continue with his life, as he recently rekindled his romance with Felicia. No matter what would happen, May and Felicia would still be there for Peter's support.

And that's the end of the story. Not really proud of this one, but I hope I made a worthy follow-up to "Resurfaced love" and "I'm here for you." As for the story's placement, it would take place before "The Return of the Green Goblin", but without the Mary Jane clone, and since he's in a relationship with Felicia in this AU, Season 5 would change drastically.

I need to check out the animated series at some point, because I've heard good things about it and I'm glad I've read Bl4ckHunter's stories. I agree that Peter/Mary Jane got cliched very quickly and it's refreshing to see him be with someone other than her. I also think the Felicia/Morbius romance really doesn't work and it just feels off.
