Chapter 58: Oni-Chan
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Man I am so annoyed. They only gave us 2 Season 5 episodes before stopping? Talk about annoying. I want to see more new episodes. But in the meantime, I hope you like what I have planned for this story. Please Review and Enjoy.
We find ourselves at Lila's home where we see said girl walking around gathering her things when she played a voicemail on her phone.
"Hi, darling. Your breakfast is on the table, your lunch is in a bag, and your dinner is in the fridge. I'll be home late tonight again, but I'll do my best to be there this weekend. Pinky promise. And just call me if you need anything. Love you to bits, my angel." Her mother said blowing a kiss before the call ended.
As Nino was walking down the street, he noticed Lilia walking by and runs up to her.
"Is something wrong Lila?" Nino asks.
"Oh no. I'm doing great. It's just my mom wants me to go with her to this fancy embassy function tonight, but I got way too much homework and I'm so behind after being away for the first term. I'm just gonna have to tell her no. She'll be so upset." Lila said.
"Oh man bummer." Nino said feeling bad for her.
"Adrien said he'd help me, but I don't want to bother him with it. He's probably forgotten anyway. He might think I've got a crush on him, just like all those other girls who are constantly hanging all over him." Lila said as they approached the school.
"Adrien's a great dude. I'm sure he won't mind. I can put in a good word for you if you want." Nino offers.
"Oh, you'd do that for me? Oh thanks, Nino, you're the best." Lila smiles as they arrived at school.
"No sweat." Nino said as Adrien's car pulled up in front of the school. "Hey Adrien!"
"Oh hey Nino what's up?" Adrien asks.
Seeing the two of them talk an evil smirk appeared on Lila's face.
As the day came to an end and class was letting out, Adrien approached Lila.
"Hey, Lila. Nino told me about your problem. I can still help you with your schoolwork if you want." Adrien offers.
"Really? You'd do that? You're such a great help! You're saving my life, you know." Lila smiles.
Hearing this Sam and Alya turn to see Marinette crawling around the desks to listen in.
"No problem, Lila. Happy to help." Adrien said.
Sneaking over, the two of them peeked their heads out to see her.
"Marinette." Alya smirks.
"Whatcha doing?" Sam smirks.
"I was so not spying on Lila. I was just... tying my shoes." Marinette stutters.
"Come on girl. You got nothing to worry about. Nino told me she has no interest in Adrien." Alya said, but little did she know Lila noticed Marinette.
"Why don't we go to your place to do our homework? It would be so much quieter, would it?" Lila suggests.
"My father would never agree to that." Adrien points out.
"I bet I can change his mind." Lila said grabbing his arm before they walked out together.
Immediately Marinette sprang up and followed them.
"Marinette wait!" Alya calls out.
"Every time." Sam sighs following after.
Arriving at the entrance, they see Lila and Adrien walk to his car where his bodyguard was waiting.
"There's no way Adrien's bodyguard will let her in the car." Marinette scoffs when he suddenly opens the door for them. "Seriously?!"
"Oh man what the heck do you think she said?" Sam asks both surprised and impressed.
"I have no idea. None." Alya said when she noticed Marinette. "Don't tell me you're gonna follow them."
"What? No of course not. I'm just going to…the swimming pool." Marinette said before running off.
"She's going to spy on Lila." Sam deadpans.
"Yep." Alya deadpans in agreement.
"Well I better get going. My dad wants me to pick up some things for them. See you later." Leaning in Sam pecks Alya on the cheek before walking away.
'Marinette I know Lila's a liar but even so, you have to trust that other people can realize it too.' Alya thought before heading in the opposite direction.
As Marinette turned a corner, she sees Juleka with her bike.
"Hey Juleka! Can I borrow your bike? It's an emergency." Marinette said grabbing her helmet and pedaling away.
"I guess?" Juleka said confused by what was happening.
"Marinette. You should just trust Adrien. He knows Lila's a liar." Tikki said.
"I know, but if she keeps on lying like she does, she's gonna end up hurting someone. I refuse to let her hurt Adrien." Marinette declares pedaling after them.
In the car, Lila turns to Adrien.
"What was the worst grade you've ever gotten?" Lila asks.
"An A- in math. Listen, Lila, you should forget about this. My father can be harsh with anyone he thinks is an intruder." Adrien warns, but Lila just laughs.
"We're not doing anything wrong. Leave this to me." Lila urges.
Looking outside we see Sam entering a store and grabbing a few snacks.
"It's nice that your parents get their employees snacks." Faang said.
"Yeah well as long as they don't do it near the computers they don't have a problem with it. Do you have any idea how many calls we get because someone spilled food or drinks on their electronics?" Sam asks.
"How many?" Faang asks.
"A lot." Sam said.
"Well in the meantime I could really go for some jerky." Faang said licking his lips a the thought.
"I'll grab you a bag at the counter." Sam chuckles.
Getting the last of it, Sam noticed Kagami grabbing an energy drink.
"Oh hey Kagami." Sam said as she turns to him.
"Sam." She acknowledges.
"We don't often run into each other outside of Fencing practice." Sam said.
"I have many responsibilities. My mother has many activities lined up for me." Kagami said.
"Hmph no wonder you and Adrien get along. You both know what the other is going through." Sam said making her smile softly.
"I suppose that's one way to look at it." Kagami said.
"Still nice running into you." Sam said paying for the snacks. "Anyway, see you round."
As he walks out Kagami smiles softly.
"Well he has a ways to go before he's mine and Adrien's level but at least he's pleasant company." Kagami said before leaving.
At Adrien's house, Natalie greets Adrien as he returns but is surprised to see Lila with him.
Peeking through the gate, Marinette spies on them.
"I'm sorry, Adrien, but you know your father—" Natalie starts.
"Excuse me, ma'am. But is there any way I could ask him directly? Just in case." Lila interrupts before she has a chance to say no.
"Mr. Agreste is busy designing and must not be disturbed for any reason." Natalie denies.
"I told you so." Adrien said knowing this would happen.
"Oh, Adrien. I so wanted to help you make up all the schoolwork you missed due to all the modeling you've been doing lately. What will your father think if he finds out about your lower grades, Adrien? Who will he believe?" Lila asks getting her attention.
"Adrien, have your grades gone down?" Natalie asks.
"He'd never tell you himself up when I saw Adrien crying the other day because he only got an A-, I just felt like I had to offer him my help. I would've taken half an hour." Lila said as Natalie raises an eyebrow at her. "I understand. You're only doing what you think is best. I did what I could, Adrien. Good luck." Lila said turning to walk away.
"If it's only for a half hour." Natalie said causing Lila to smirk.
"If you really insist, I'll do it." Lila smiles leading Adrien inside much to Marinette's shock.
"Seriously? How does she do that?" Marinette asks.
Running around to try and peek into Adrien's room, Marinette comes face to face with a giant wall that was impossible for her to climb.
Looking around for a way to get in, Marinette noticed several trash bins getting an idea.
Inside, Lila and Adrien walked to his room.
"See? You never know until you ask nicely." Lila points out.
"You didn't ask nicely. You lied, Lila." Adrien counters.
"You told me yourself that your A- in math is your lowest grade, didn't you?" Lila asks.
Outside, Marinette stacked the bins in a pyramid up the wall, but as she was about to climb it a fire truck passed by and honked its horn stopping her.
"Hey, miss. You can't climb on that. It's too dangerous." A fireman said.
Smiling Marinette turns to him. "Could I borrow your ladder, please? The guy I'm in love with is about to be scammed by a liar."
"No. A firefighter's ladder is for real emergencies, not for spying on boys. Especially without a helmet." The fireman said.
Inside, Lila looked at Adrien's wallpaper which had a picture of him and his mother.
"Ah, is this your mom? You look so much like her. I look a lot like my mom too you know. Isn't it just crazy how much you and I have in common?" Lila asks as Adrien took out his notes.
While he was distracted, Lila opened a drawer only to be disgusted by Plagg's camembert stash.
As she looks around she didn't notice Plagg watching her suspiciously.
Outside Marinette was explaining things to the fireman.
"And the lying girl's really that scheming?" He asks and Marinette nods. "You really care about this boy, huh?"
Seeing the sad and worried look on her face the fireman sighed.
At his parent's office, Sam was handing out snacks and drinks.
"Thanks for doing this Sam." Lily said as he gave her the bag.
"No problem mom. Happy to help." Sam shrugs.
"So how are things at school?" She asks.
"Well my friend Marinette is struggling to deal with some…stuff. She and another classmate of mine have not been getting along." Sam said.
"Probably best you stay out of it. Leave it to them to figure out." Lily suggests.
"Yeah you're probably right." Sam said.
In Adrien's room, Lila noticed a fencing club picture and immediately noticed Kagami next to Adrien and narrowed her eyes.
"This girl in red is pretty. Who is she?" Lila asks.
"That's Kagami. We take fencing classes together." Adrien explains.
"She looks so nice. You'll have to introduce me to her sometime. Did you know I lived in Japan for a few years?" Lila brags.
"Lila, didn't you want me to help you with your homework?" Adrien asks.
Outside, the fireman ties down the bins.
"There. Perfectly safe to climb." He said before putting a helmet on Marinette's head. "There."
"Oh thank you." Marinette smiles hugging him in thanks.
With Sam, he was sitting with his mom.
"So this fencing friend of yours. She's good huh?" Lily asks as Sam snuck Faang some jerky.
"Probably the best in the class, but I don't know if she sees me as a friend. She seems to be only interested in Adrien." Sam said.
"He is very handsome." Lily giggles.
"Mom that's my best friend." Sam cringed.
"Look things like friendship take time. Maybe someday this Kagami will see you as a friend. In meantime just do what any real friend would do." She suggests.
"What's that?" Sam asks.
"Just be there." Lily said.
"That's it?" Sam asks.
"Sometimes being there for a friend is all they truly need." She shrugs.
Pausing Sam couldn't help but think about it.
With Adrien, he and Lila were working on their homework when Lila noticed some pictures in his trophy.
Reaching inside he saw they were pictures of Ladybug.
"Please don't tell me you're still a fan of that…that…" Lila glares remembering all the times Ladybug ruined things for her.
Suddenly the door opens revealing Natalie.
"Time's up, Adrien. Your father could come out of his office at any minute." Natalie warns.
"I guess I won the bet. How about a souvenir photo?" Leaning in Lila takes a selfie of her pecking Adrien on the cheek before leaving. "Feel free to ask if you need any more help with your math."
Leaving his room, Lila sent the selfie to all her contacts.
Outside Marinette was reaching the top of the wall when her phone beeped. When she saw the photo, Marinette falls over in shock.
With Sam, he was leaving the office with a soda in hand. As he took a sip his phone beeped. When he sees the photo Sam almost chokes on his drink and starts coughing.
With Kagami, she was in the park practicing fencing while her mother watched. As her phone beeped, she was about to look at it.
"We agreed on no cell phone during practice, Kagami. You can check when you're done." Tomoe said stopping her.
"I'm sorry, mother." Kagami nods putting it away.
With Garbiel, we find him in his secret room under the house where his wife laid when he suddenly received a message.
Looking at it, he narrows his eyes realizing someone was in his house.
Upstairs, Lila was on her way out when Adrien's bodyguard noticed Gabriel leaving his office.
Acting quickly he tried to move in front of her so Gabriel didn't see her but Lila immediately moved into view.
"Mr Gabriel Agreste! I am such an admirer of your fashion designs this is the best day of my life! I know how you're busy you are so I won't take up anywhere of your time. Have a good evening!" Lila said acting like a fangirl before leaving.
Turning to Natalie, she could see the anger on his face.
"It's my fault sir I—"
"In my office! Now!" Gabriel orders.
As Lila leaves the mansion, she sees Marinette laying the garbage pile groaning.
"I could take a photo right now and post it online, but that would be too easy." Lila laughs walking away.
Taking the helmet off, Marinette glares at her.
"Tikki, spots—"
"Don't even think about it." Tikki interrupts shutting her down.
In Adrien's room, Plagg was giving him a piece of his mind.
"Why are you so nice to that girl? She lies with every breath and snoops through your drawers as soon as your back's turned." Plagg warns.
"You snoop through my drawers, Plagg." Adrien points out.
"Yeah, but we both know I'm only looking for cheese. But she...well, we have no idea what she's looking for." Plagg admits.
"Perhaps she's just looking to be a little less lonely." Adrien assumes while Plagg counts his cheese to make sure all were accounted for.
In Gabriel's office, Gabriel was giving Natalie a piece of his mind, but unlike Plagg he was furious.
"What was that young girl doing in my house?" Gabriel asks.
"I decided it would be good for her to help Adrien review his mathematics." Natalie explains.
"I'm the only one who decides what's good for my son! This isn't the first time you've been fooled by his schoolmates." Gabriel points out.
"Do you…want to take Adrien out of school?" Natalie asks worried for Adrien.
"No. But I won't allow Adrien to be influenced by the company he keeps. On second thought, I think this photo is going to help me get that young girl in particular away from my son once and for all." Gabriel said getting an idea.
At the park, Kagami was sitting down taking a break from training.
Reaching for her phone to check the message she got, she looks in shock to see Lila kissing Adrien.
Growling in anger, Kagami threw her phone in a fit of rage before reaching into her coat to reveal a small scrapbook where inside we see a photo of her and Adrien at the fencing club as well as the rose he gave her a while ago.
As tears began to form, Kagami grabbed her bokken.
In his lair, Hawk Moth saw it all.
"Such a tornado of negative emotions surrounding such as a meaningless photo. But the strongest anger isn't always necessarily the nosiest one." Hawk Moth said turning a butterfly into an akuma. "Fly away my little akuma and evilise her anger!"
As the Akuma flies to its target we see Kagami had sliced a tree in half as well as broken her bokken.
With tears pouring down her eyes, she drops to her knees allowing the akuma to enter the rose.
"Oni-Chan, I am Hawk Moth. I'm giving you the power to track down Lila Rossi and make sure she never gets close to your loved one ever again. Adrien Agreste is way too innocent to be wary of her. Of course she'll persuade Ladybug, Silver Claw and Cat Noir to stop you from accomplishing your duty. You must therefore bring me their Miraculous, to punish them for their nativity." Hawk Moth said telepathically.
"Yes Hawk Moth." Kagami said as she transformed.
At Adrien's house, Adrien was in his room typing on his computer.
"Adrien." Turning around Adrien saw a girl in a white and black outfit with red horns on her shoulders, wild black hair, a white mask with a red horn and sharp fangs over the mouth area and in her hand was fierce red bokken that had thorns on it. "I am Oni-Chan. You and I were made for each other, Adrien."
"Kagami?" Adrien said shocked.
"I will protect you from anyone who tries to harm you. I'll protect you from Lila." Oni-Chan took out her phone to show the picture.
"She's not dangerous. She just craves attention." Adrien defends.
"She doesn't deserve your attention. What she deserves is punishment!" Oni-Chan declares before taking off.
"Kagami no!" Adrien calls out.
Outside, Marinette lines up all the bins when Oni-Chan lands on them startling her.
Before Marinette could react Oni-Chan ran off into the city.
"Can I transform now?" Marinette asks.
"Yes Marinette." Tikki nods.
Looking around Marinette climbs into a trash bin. "Tikki, Spots On!"
"Wow. With all these girlfriends chasing you, I guess it was only a matter of time before they ended up fighting each another." Plagg smirks.
"I don't have any girlfriends." Adrien said. "Plagg, Claws Out!"
As Sam was walking down the street Oni-Chan leaped past him in the direction of Lila.
"Uh oh that's not good." Faang gulps.
"I don't know how but my money is on it being Lila's fault." Sam said.
Looking around he ran down an alley. "Faang, Teeth Out!" As his bracelet glows Sam transforms into Silver Claw.
Nearby, Lila was on her way home when someone runs past her.
"Lila." A voice calls out. "Lila Rossi."
Turning around Lila gasps seeing Oni-Chan right behind her.
"I forbid you to go anywhere near Adrien." Swinging her bokken, Oni-Chan whacks a car sending it flying to emphasize her point. "Give up on him and I will spare you."
"Adrien? I don't know anyone named Adrien." Lila lies trying to get out of this.
"Don't lie to me!" Oni-Chan hissed pulling her in close.
"I'm really sorry, but I always get what I want. It's not my fault." Lila said.
"Well this time you're gonna have to give in. Otherwise, you'll really get it, whether you want it or not." Oni-Chan threatens pointing her bokken at Lila.
"Shouldn't you ask the lucky guy what he thinks?" Cat Noir asks leaning against the car Oni-Chan hit.
Growling Oni-Chan's bokken glowed red as she attacked him.
Leaping out of the way Oni-Chan ended up slicing the car in half.
"Hey I'm just trying to help!" Cat Noir said dodging her attacks.
Swinging her bokken, she was about to attack when Silver Claw leaped in and blocked with his sword.
"Good timing Silver Claw." Cat Noir said.
"What the heck is going on here?" Silver Claw asks as Ladybug swings in and grabbed Lila's hand.
"This way! Come on!" Ladybug said leading her into a small park nearby.
"I don't need you, Ladybug. I was perfectly capable of defending myself. Besides, that ugly horned girl doesn't stand a chance with Adrien." Lila said when seconds later Cat Noir and Silver Claw landed nearby hitting the ground hard.
"Are you really sure I don't stand a chance?" Oni-Chan charges in and kicks Ladybug back.
Turning to Lila, she swings her bokken and when the tip touches her head it began to glow.
Throwing her yoyo, Ladybug pulls Oni-Chan away allowing Lila to run.
"It's no use running. Wherever you go, I'll find you." Oni-Chan vows.
"Assuming we let you get away." Silver Claw said as they all stood up.
"And we don't take your Akuma first." Cat Noir adds.
Down the road we see Officer Roger driving when Lila came out waving her arms making him pull over.
"Please stop! Oh, officer, I'm being followed by a supervillain and Ladybug's failing miserably. You're the only one who can help me! Please protect me!" Lila begs.
"Get in. I can protect you down at the police center." Roger said as Lila got in the back.
Back at the park, Ladybug pulls hard refusing to let go.
"The Akuma must be in her bokken." Ladybug said as Silver Claw and Cat Noir drew their weapons.
"Leave it to us." Silver Claw said.
Cat Noir leaps in but Oni-Chan pulls resulting in Cat Noir's staff hitting the yoyo cable allowing Oni-Chan to free her weapon and clash with Silver Claw.
In the car, Roger was driving Lila to the precinct.
"Unfortunately, there's not much I can do about your forehead problem, though." Roger points out.
"What forehead problem?" Lila asks before noticing herself in the rearview mirror and saw she had a red horn on her head. "What is this disgusting thing?!"
Suddenly the horn began to glow red and Roger's phone rang meaning he got a message.
"What kind of message is this?" Looking at it he saw a strange symbol and instantly he was teleported away.
At the park, the three heroes were about to attack Oni-Chan when suddenly she disappeared and Roger appeared in her place while Oni-Chan appeared in the Police car.
Surprised the heroes pulled back on their attacks resulting in them tumbling to the ground.
"Officer Roger?" Silver Claw said confused.
"What happened?" Ladybug asks.
"Where's my car? What happened to the young lady with the horn on her forehead? The one being chased by that supervillain?" Roger asks equally confused.
"Lila?" Ladybug asks.
"Since when does have a horn on her head?" Cat Noir asks.
"We can talk about this later. Hurry!" Silver Claw said as they ran to catch up with Oni-Chan.
Getting out of the car, Lila ran as fast as she could but Oni-Chan wasn't fazed.
"Go ahead and run. As fast and as far away as you can, Lila Rossi." Oni-Chan taunts.
From the rooftops, Ladybug spotted the police car.
"There!" Throwing her yoyo she wraps it around the police car but Oni-Chan didn't even retaliate.
"Something's not right. She's not even trying to fight back. Why?" Silver Claw asks.
"I feel like she's taunting us." Cat Noir said.
"Well she won't be laughing for long." Ladybug assures.
At Marinette's family bakery, Lila runs in panting heavily.
"Help! There's a monster chasing me!" Lila said as Sabine sees her horn and gasps.
"You have something on your forehead." Sabine said when Lila's horn glowed and like with Roger, Sabine got a strange phone message. "What a strange message."
Back with the heroes, Oni-Chan suddenly began to glow and was replaced by Sabine.
"She did it again!" Silver Claw gasps.
Appearing in the bakery, Oni-Chan pointed her bokken at Lila.
"So, you still think you can get away from me?" Oni-Chan threatens when the door opens revealing Tom.
"Honey?" Tom calls out before seeing the villain in his bakery.
Undoing her yoyo, the three heroes ran to Mrs. Dupain-Chang.
"Are you okay Mo—Mrs. Dupain-Chang?" Ladybug asks quickly saving herself.
"What happened?" Cat Noir asks.
"I was in the bakery when this teenager with a horn came running in." Sabine explains.
"Lila." Cat Noir realized.
"Oni-Chan must be there already. Stay here you'll be safe." Ladybug said as the three heroes chased after Oni-Chan.
At the bakery, Oni-Chan pushes Lila back towards the door.
"All you have to do is give up on Adrien, and all of this will stop." Oni-Chan said about to move in when Tom taps her shoulder distracting her.
"Ahem. Nobody attacks customers at the Dupain-Cheng bakery. And where is my wife?" Tom asks.
Using this chance, Lila runs out the door and turns the corner only to see Cat Noir, Silver Claw and Ladybug jump down.
"Lila, are you okay?" Cat Noir asks.
"You're rushing to my rescue even after all those nasty things I said to you? I really misjudged you, Ladybug! You're the only one who can help me." Lila said hugging Ladybug when her horn grows bigger.
"What in the?" Silver Claw said noticing this.
"I knew she'd wind up liking you in the end." Cat Noir said not noticing it.
Suddenly Ladybug's yoyo beeped meaning she got a message.
Pushing Lila off she answers it to see Oni-Chan's message. "What kind of message is this?"
Instantly Ladybug traded places with Oni-Chan and Ladybug ended up inside the bakery.
"Hey! Not cool! The girls were just starting to get along!" Cat Noir said.
Swinging her bokken, Oni-Chan attacks the two heroes.
From inside the bakery, Ladybug looks outside at the fight going on.
"Ladybug!" Turning around she noticed Tom was knocked into a corner.
Running over she helps him up.
"My wife answered the phone, and then POOF, she disappeared! And then that villain showed up, and now you're here, and—" Tom panics.
"Don't worry. Your wife is in a police car, safe and sound." Ladybug assures before looking outside and realizing something. "The supervillain sends evil phone messages and swaps places with the person who looks at them. And Lila's horn acts as a kind of cell tower. That's how the villain always tracks her down. I know how to defeat her now. Thanks to you." Ladybug smiles before running out.
"Oh?" Tom said confused how he helped.
Outside, Lila was running for her life as Oni-Chan chased her.
"Give up Adrien!" Oni-Chan calls out.
"And let you get your monster paws on him? No way!" Lila said.
Extending his staff, Cat Noir cuts Oni-Chan off allowing Silver Claw to kick her in the side.
"Adrien, Adrien, Adrien. All the girls are fighting over him. No one's fighting over me. Yet I'm so much more sophistiCATed, funnier, and definitely better dressed than him." Cat Noir brags making something snap in Oni-Chan.
"How dare you compare yourself to Adrien, you cursed cat!" Oni-Chan snaps attacking with a now glowing bokken that allowed her to release wave after wave of vicious attacks. "Adrien is perfection personified! He's the only one who's worthy of me! And the only one I will ever love!"
"Wait what?" Cat Noir said as Silver Claw stops in disbelief at the declaration.
Swinging with all her might Oni-Chan knocks Cat Noir sending him flying backward and crashing into a billboard of Adrien's cologne. "What are you smiling at?" He groans.
'Oh man looks like Marinette's got some competition.' Silver Claw winced as Oni-Chan turns to him.
"Do not get in my way." She threatens.
"Look Oni-Chan. I get that your mad about Lila. Who isn't? But maybe have a little trust that Adrien knows better." Silver Claw suggests drawing his sword.
"He will know better because he'll have me by his side." Oni-Chan said attacking him.
"Maybe if you tried having more people in your life you wouldn't think you had to do everything on your own." Silver Claw said blocking her attacks before swinging his sword making her skid back.
"I don't think. I can." Oni-Chan said as her sword glowed.
Charging in, Oni-Chan swings sending Silver Claw flying backwards and crashing into some bushes.
"Ugh girls." Silver Claw groans.
A few blocks down Lila ran past a man when suddenly his phone got a message making him switch places with Oni-Chan.
Leaping in front of Lila, she corners her.
"Do you get it now? I'll hunt you down wherever you go. Just give up on Adrien, and I'll stop tracking your every move." Oni-Chan orders.
"Alright, I'll give up on Adrien." Lila agrees when her horn grows.
"You're an awesome actress, but you're lying. Your horn betrays you, see? It will only disappear once you've sincerely given up on Adrien." Oni-Chan smirks.
"But how could I possibly give Adrien up? I love him so much! It's too hard for me, honestly! You can't ask me to do that. The only thing that would persuade me to give him up is if you got rid of Ladybug for me." Lila bargains making Oni-Chan smile interested.
"This Lila girl is…astounding." Hawk Moth grins liking the way she thinks.
"Lila are you alright?" Ladybug asks catching up with them.
"If that's the only thing that will make you give him up, I'll do it." Oni-Chan said attacking Ladybug.
Spinning her yoyo like a shield, Ladybug deflects all of Oni-Chan's strikes as she pushes her back.
Sliding in, Cat Noir and Silver Claw knock Oni-Chan away from her.
"Cat Noir, Silver Claw, if anyone receives a text message, you can't let them open it. That's how Oni-Chan teleports herself." Ladybug explains.
As Oni-Chan attacked the trio Lila realized she had to get the boys away from Ladybug.
"Help, Cat Noir, Silver Claw! It hurts so much!" Turning around they saw Lila on the ground in pain. "I think I might've broken something!" Lila said as her horn grew.
"Come on we gotta help her." Cat Noir said.
"Wait what about Ladybug?" Silver Claw asks.
"It's Lila she's after, besides she looks hurt." Cat Noir said.
Cringing Silver Claw looks to Ladybug.
"Hang tight we'll be right back." Silver Claw said as both heroes grabbed an arm and draped it over their shoulders before getting Lila away.
"Then I'm gonna need a helping hand here. Lucky charm!" Ladybug threw her yoyo into the air and a roll of plastic tubing appeared.
However just before she could grab it, Oni-Chan snatches it away much to her disbelief before Kagami ties her up with it.
Down the street, a fireman was driving down the road when both heroes landed in front of him much to his surprise.
"Could you take this girl to the hospital please?" Cat Noir asks.
Back with Ladybug, she was tied to a lamppost with her own lucky charm.
"You've been hosed, Ladybug. Adrien will be mine now, forever!" Oni-Chan declares reaching for her earrings.
"No!" Ladybug struggles to break free.
"Yes! Take her Miraculous." Hawk Moth grins.
"Back off!" Ladybug said kicking her off.
With Lila and the boys, she was being looked at by the fireman.
"Well, this is what happens when you don't wear knee pads." He said when Lila's horn glowed and he got a message.
"Don't answer that!" Silver Claw said preventing him from being switched with Oni-Chan.
"But what if it's an emergency?" He asks.
"Her leg is an emergency." Cat Noir said.
"You sure it's not her forehead instead because her leg looks fine." He points out.
Instantly both boys glared at her.
"You just wanted us to leave Ladybug by herself." Silver Claw realized.
"So she would face Oni-Chan on her own. Do you really hate her that much?" Cat Noir asks.
"Me? Of course not. Why would you say that? Is it because she's been left alone to fight Oni-Chan all by herself?" Lila asks faking innocence causing her horn to glow.
"Nice try Lila. Or should I say Pinocchio?" Silver Claw glares poking her horn.
"What you just did is really terrible. You should be ashamed of yourself." Cat Noir glares before turning to the fireman. "Answer your phone, Mr. Hessenpy."
"No don't!" Lila panics.
"Do it! It's an emergency!" Silver Claw orders.
Reaching for his phone, the fireman answers the message.
As Oni-Chan was about to take her Miraculous she disappeared and the fireman appeared in front of her.
"Ladybug?" He said confused.
Reappearing Oni-Chan saw Lila was nearby. "What?"
Confused Oni-Chan looks to see both heroes smirking at her.
"Surprise Oni-Chan." Cat Noir grins.
"Moon Call!" As his bracelet glows, Silver Claw took a deep breath and blasts Oni-Chan with a sonic howl from close range sending her flying backward and crashing to the ground.
"Nice one." Cat Noir grins.
"Ow my ears. A little warning next time, they're very sensitive." Lila said as her horn grew.
"Sure Lila." Silver Claw said unfazed.
Groaning Oni-Chan struggled to get up.
"Here she comes." Cat Noir said as both heroes readied themselves.
Back with Ladybug, the fireman looked around. "What am I doing here? And how did you get all tied up like that?" Walking over, the fireman tried to untie her. "These hoses are so strong; it once took us two full hours to get a kid untangled."
"Really?" Ladybug asks before realizing something. "Wait I got an idea." Taking out her yoyo she makes a call.
At the bust stop, Silver Claw and Cat Noir were clashing with Oni-Chan when Cat Noir got a call.
"Yes Milady?" Cat Noir answers before looking at Oni-Chan. "It's the girl of my dreams. Sure we'll bring her over."
"Ladybug onto something?" Silver Claw assumes.
"Naturally." Cat Noir said grabbing Lila. "Let's go!"
"Hey easy! My leg!" Lila said as the three of them made their escape with Oni-Chan chasing after.
Landing in front of Ladybug they saw she was tied up.
"Need a hand Milady?" Cat Noir asks.
"No, just a little phone call." Ladybug said as her yoyo rang as Lila's horn glowed.
Seeing this Oni-Chan gasps. "No!"
However, Ladybug answered the call resulting in the two of them switching places and Oni-Chan was tied up.
"Cat Noir!" Silver Claw kicks her bokken into the air.
"Cataclysm!" As dark energy surrounded his hand, Cat Noir touched the bokken destroying it and releasing the akuma.
"No more evil-doing for you little akuma. Time to de-evilise!" Spinning her yoyo, Ladybug captures the Akuma and turns it back into a butterfly. "Bye-bye little butterfly. Miraculous Ladybug!" Throwing the hose into the air Ladybug undoes all the damages, removes Lila's horn and turns Kagami back to normal.
Looking down at the bokken, Cat Noir saw it was the rose he gave her.
"Kagami?" Walking up to her, Cat Noir held out the rose which she happily took back.
"Pound it." Ladybug and Silver Claw said but Cat Noir left them hanging as he picked up Kagami.
"I'll take her home." Cat Noir said before glancing at Lila. "Be careful around Lila. She's as sly as a fox."
As the two of them left, Ladybug looks at Silver Claw, and the two of them fist bumped.
"Your leg looks better." Ladybug notices.
"Being around you superheroes has toughened me up." Lila lies.
"You'll be okay to go home by yourself, then. You don't need me." Ladybug said leaving.
"So Silver Claw—" Lila said glancing at the hero.
"Let me make one thing clear, Lila." Silver Claw interrupts. "Liars always get caught in the end. Sooner or later all your lies are gonna catch up with you and then you'll have nothing. And you'll have no one to blame but yourself." Silver Claw said before taking his leave leaving Lila all alone.
Narrowing her eyes, Lila was not a fan of this hero either.
At his base, Hawk Moth was not happy about this failure.
"You're wrong about one thing Silver Claw. She might not have nothing by the end of this after all. I think I was mistaken. I shouldn't chase that girl away. She could make a very good ally." Hawk Moth said getting an idea.
The next day at school, Lila approaches Adrien while Sam, Alya and Marinette walk past them.
"Hey, Adrien? Could you help me with my homework after school?" Lila asks but to Sam and Alya's surprise Marinette was not interested.
"Whoa what's going with you?" Sam asks.
"Yeah, you don't have Adrien under surveillance anymore?" Alya asks.
"I trust him, Alya. Adrien could never love a girl like Lila, not in a million years." Marinette said making them smile.
"So true. I'll see you girls later. I got fencing today." Sam said walking ahead.
"Good luck." Both said waving goodbye.
Up above them, Adrien and Lila were walking downstairs.
"Sorry, I've got fencing. Besides, I think you're already light years ahead of me when it comes to calculus." Adrien said.
"Actually, I have memory loss after all this traveling I've done. I need to learn everything again from scratch." Lila said but Adrien wasn't going to be fooled.
"Nathalie and my bodyguard got reprimanded last time because of you." Adrien points out.
"I'm sorry, Adrien. Please, I didn't mean to." Lila apologizes.
"Lila, you can always count on me. But not if you hurt the people I love." Adrien said walking away.
Suddenly Lila's phone began to ring revealing it was from an unknown caller. "Hello?" She answers.
At fencing practice, Sam walked out in his fencing gear to see Kagami getting ready.
"Hey Kagami." Sam said walking up to her.
"Sam." Kagami acknowledges.
"Listen there's something you should know. That message with the girl kissing Adrien. Her name is Lila and you shouldn't believe anything she does. She's a liar." Sam informs.
"She is?" Kagami said.
"Lying to her is like breathing. She'll come up with a ton of crazy things, but in case she pulls something like that again you'll know Adrien is not into her." Sam said.
"I appreciate your warning. Thank for telling me this." Kagami nods in thanks.
"Hey that's what friends do; they look out for each other." Sam smiles.
"Friends huh? Yes I suppose having a friend to tell me things like this could be nice to have." Kagami smiles softly.
"Speaking of, I think Adrien needs a partner." Sam hints.
Smiling Kagami walks out to face Adrien.
"You know she's actually kinda cute. It's a shame you don't like her she might cute for you." Faang said.
"Faang I'm not cheating on Alya. Besides I just got Kagami as a friend I'm not gonna throw that away." Sam said.
Looking out they saw Adrien and Kagami clashing before tying at a point.
"Congratulations. You're at your best again, I see." Kagami said as they lifted up their helmets.
"I'm only trying to be worthy of you." Adrien said making Kagami blush.
"Besides, she's got someone else on her mind right now." Sam smirks crossing his arms.
"You're a good man Sam. And good men are hard to find these days." Faang smiles.
At Adrien's Mansion, Lila enters Gabriel's office.
"Thank you for inviting me here, Mr. Agreste." Lila said as Gabriel glares at her.
"You got into my house without my authorization. By lying and manipulating my son." Gabriel said.
"I only meant well. Adrien needed to talk. You do such a good job of shielding him from bad influences that he actually feels very alone." Lila said as Gabriel looks out the window.
"Hmm. You're opening my eyes to a problem I didn't even know existed. What would you do in my position?" Gabriel asks.
"I think he needs a friend his age. Someone who understands him, who can protect him from negative influences. Someone you can trust, too." Lila suggests making him smile.
"You and I think the same way. See you again very soon, Lila." Gabriel said as the two of them shook hands.
"See you soon, Mr. Agreste." Lila said as both had evil smiles on their faces.
