Chapter 1 the wizard of Oz
Dil lived with his little brother Tomas (Tommy) pickles in Kansas with their uncle Drew and aunt charlotte the two boys lost their parents Didi and Stu when Dylan (Dil) was only 4 years old and Thomas (Tommy) was 3 years old and their cousin Angelica pickles lived with them since they are cousins and she was not mean she was nice since she was 6 almost 7 because she was 5 when the boys lost their parents. And Dylan now 5 was the one to explore and Thomas (Tommy) now four said big brother where are we going to go? And Dil picked the young boy up and put him on his shoulders saying somewhere there is no trouble and no one can tell us what to do or what not to do! And he started humming a familiar lullaby that their mother used to sing to them when she wanted them to sleep as their mean neighbor showed up to take Spike and Dil looked at his beloved dog and the three of them ran away as Angelica watched them through her crystal ball saying so they are going to one of my servants oh I mean her royal majesty. And then the tornado came and swept Dil and Tommy up as they ended up in Oz and they met Gilda the good witch who reminded them of their friend Susie Carmichael because she was an African American girl and she said if you want to go home you have to see our ruler the wizard of Oz! And Tommy said she is good or evil? And Gilda chuckled saying you will see tommy now go ok? And the two brothers nodded as they met twin scarecrows that looked like Phil and Lil and a tin girl that looked like Kimi and a lion that looked like Chuckie and they made to the emerald city where they met the wizard of Oz and to their surprise the Wizard was none other then Angelica she was sitting on the throne with her arms on the arm rest as Susie knelt before the Throne and Angelica smiled getting up with her cape dragging on the floor saying Susie you helped my cousins and their friends and as your Ruler I will grant their wishes. And Dil and Tommy and their friends smiled as Angelica did as she promised to all of them.
