Knightless

Maleficent didn't see the need to sleep in too much clothes in the Summer. It was hot enough already, and even more so with another naked body sleeping next to her own. The heats she was used to, the pressure of a naked body was new. Just like it had taken her a while time to get used to sleeping with her wings again, it also took her some time to get used to Diaval sleeping next to her.

The first few times she almost pushed him away just on instinct. She hasn't been this vulnerable next to someone in a very long time.

"I can feel your eyes on me, Mistress." Diaval mumbled, his voice a little muffled by his pillow, "What's the matter? Can't get enough of my beautiful self." He peaked at her over the corner, his arms shifting a bit and bringing the pillow closer.

"Your handsome face is a big part of why I tolerate you in the first place."

"Come now, we both know that's not true." Now Maleficent was really considering pushing him off. He was beaming at her with that charming grin and those mischievous eyes. He knew very well how he looked, and he knew that it drove her wild. "You. Love. Me."

Each word was interrupted with a firm kiss on Maleficent's bare shoulder. Her wings shivered a little at the softness of Diaval's lips on her bare skin. "And you should consider yourself incredibly fortunate that I do. Otherwise I would have turned you into a worm a long time ago." This was probably the closest she'll get to admitting she loves Diaval, outside of when she says it in the thorns of their shared passion that is.

Many people would think her a fool for falling for her own familiar. Diaval was so much more than that. He was her companion, her best friend, her advisor, her eyes and ears, her protector. Not that she needed much of the last one but it's always nice knowing that someone has your back at all times. For kings and queens it's their knights, for Maleficent, it was Diaval.

"Fortunate indeed." Diaval lifted himself up on his forearms so his lips could reach further up Maleficent's neck.

This allowed the fairy to see the remains of red nail marks on his shoulders and more then likely down his back. As well as a very prominent bite mark on his neck. She loved how even though he could heal them, he left them on his body for several days more. Just in case anyone wondered whose he was.

"We should be getting up. Beastie will be here soon." Her order fell on deaf ears however, or maybe he did hear her, he just wanted to make her ask again. "Diaval, I'm serious."

"Uh-huh. I know. But she won't be here for a while longer. Let me wake you up properly my Mistress." His hand already vanished under the flimsy covers, traveling further downward, "If you allow me."

Maleficent inhaled sharply. He might have been just a raven at one point, but he sure does have the ravishing appetite of a few men combined. Which honestly works in her favor, being a fairy and all, it would leave her with some things to be desired otherwise.

"Make it fast." Her head fell back on the pillows, her legs spreading to make room for his hand.

"Oh Mistress, you know I never do." She could feel Diaval grin against her skin, a silent promise of half a dozen ecstasies left unsaid on his lips.
