Sasuke whipped around and glared at the older Uchiha, "What are you doing here? Get out now!"

Two years ago Sasuke would've already attacked him but he was smarter than that now and knew he wasn't strong enough to beat him.

"Now Sasuke, is that anyway to treat your older brother? I haven't seen you in years! I was just dropping by to say 'hello'."

"Liar . . . what do you want?"

Itachi sighed, "If you must know, I wanted to show you a new Jutsu. Its not lethal and could prove effective for incapacitating enemies. Want to see?"

"I-" Sasuke paused as he heard the door open.

He looked over and saw a certain annoying blonde walk into the house. He glanced at Itachi and saw him looking at Naruto curiously too. Itachi looked at Sasuke questioningly.

Naruto's eyes grew wide, "Itachi?! What are you doing here?!" he exclaimed, pointing at Itachi.

Sasuke cleared his throat, "Naruto, I think you need to go. Now."

"No way! I'm gonna beat this jerk to a pulp!"

Itachi glared at Naruto, "The nine-tails brat, here? Sasuke?"

"He just walked in! This was not planned!"

"Well this is the perfect opportunity to show you my new Jutsu."

"Don't you dare Itachi! I don't care about your new Jutsu, I want you to get out of my house!"

Itachi smiled, "Is that how you feel otouto? I thought you wanted power to kill me. Right?"

The younger Uchiha activated the Sharingan again. It glowed ruby red in the darkness of the room.

"Preparing for a fight? Well . . ." Itachi chuckled, " . . . watch closely."

Sasuke gave Naruto a nod and the two boys each threw a kunai that Itachi easily avoided. Itachi formed a couple of hand signs and Chakra glowed lightly on his fingertips.

"Naruto watch out for his hands!" Sasuke yelled.

Naruto nodded and fired up Rasengan. Itachi smiled and used Substitution Jutsu to evade it and was met with Sasuke's Fireball Jutsu. He used another Substitution and appeared behind Naruto.

"Dobe watch out!"

Naruto turned around . . . seconds too late. Itachi hit him in the gut with the hand glowing with Chakra. Naruto fell to the ground, unconscious.

"Naruto! What did you do to him?" Sasuke growled.

Itachi looked at Sasuke and said nothing. Sasuke's hand lit up with Chidori and he ran at Itachi. Itachi jumped out of the way and Sasuke barely stopped himself from colliding with the wall. He turned around and launched himself at his brother, missing again, even despite his active Sharingan. Itachi quickly evaded all of Sasuke's further attacks and moved in closer until he was standing nose - to - nose with him. He punched Sasuke in the stomach hard which sent the younger boy smashing to the ground.

"Sasuke, if you want to be strong enough to defeat me you must ignore all emotions. Don't let your feelings get in the way of your strength."

"Shut Up Itachi! Just shut up! I know I'm not strong and I'll never beat you, but if I give up now I can't protect the people who work so hard to protect me!"

Itachi said nothing but darted away and jumped out an open window.

Sasuke attempted to pursue him but quickly lost him in the darkness. He started walking back toward his house feeling more depressed than before. He wondered if Naruto was okay. What if Itachi had seriously injured him! When he got closer to his house he heard whimpering. Naruto! He ran towards the front door. The closer he got the less it sounded like the Jinchuriki. It sounded more like a . . . a small child?

HellCat180 : Okay, okay. I know its cheesy.

Sasuke : Cheesy doesn't begin to cut it. I really don't understand why I'm so emotional.

Naruto : I think it captures your character perfectly! As for me, why did I go down so easily?! I would've totally kicked Itachi's butt!
