After making a full recovery, Ichika was free to leave the hospital. However, the body heals quicker than the mind. He can't get what happened before out of his mind. He walked down the streets and thought of everything that has happened to him the other day.

'I couldn't do a thing to protect the charm. I could have lost the spirit and my charm, and who knows what would have happened.' Ichika thought as he felt guilty for not being able to protect the spirit and the charm. 'Without his help, I was completely powerless. Whoever is after the charm will do anything to get a hold of it. This person even has the ability to control others. I've got to get stronger so this doesn't happen again.'

"Ichika!" Ichika turned around and was surprised to see his good friend, Ryu Kazame.

"Ryu! It's been a while!" Ichika said as he was glad to see him.

"It's good to see you." Ryu said. "I heard about what happened to you the other day. Are you doing okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks to Houki and Rin, I was able to get out of there." Ichika said. "Truth be told, someone is after my charm again just like Peggrin was."

"Someone else is after your artifact? Having one myself before, I know how serious that can be." Ryu said. "Are you sure you're going to be fine, Ichika?"

"Yeah, don't worry about me. Ryu, you were possessed by an evil spirit because of that pendent you had." Ichika said. "You probably shouldn't worry so much about this. I've got to go, but let's catch up later."

"Sure." Ryu said as he let Ichika go. When Ichika left, he missed something important. Ichika believed the evil spirit that controlled Ryu was gone because he know longer had the Mystic Pendent, but he was wrong. Ryu still had the pendent and the evil inside still had control over him.

'So, someone else is trying to take the charm are they? Well, not if I have anything to say about it.' Evil Ryu thought. 'I already claimed Peggrin's patch, but I will be the one that holds all the artifacts. No one is going to stop me from that.'

...

Conner

"Tell them I won't accept anything less than even fifty-fifty split of the profit and that's final." Conner said as he ended a business call and continued working on his desk. While he's done a splendid job of running his company, he also has his sights on dueling Ichika again and regaining his reputation as a great duelist. When one has a fierce rival, they'll do anything to surpass them. As he was trying to figure it out, his work phone went off again. "What is it?" He questioned when he answered it.

"I'm sorry, sir. There's a call for you on line two. They asked to speak with you directly."

"About what?" Conner questioned.

"They weren't specific. All they said was that they had the answer to your dilemma." Conner didn't quite get what that meant. The only way he'll know is if he takes the call. So, he went and took it.

"Hello? Who is this?" Conner said.

"Do you want to beat Ichika Orimura? Are you looking for a way for you to face him again? Don't want to look like some wannabe champion that just duels him out of the blue?" The girl on the other end of that line was saying all the right stuff to get Conner's attention.

"How do you know about all that?" Conner questioned.

"I could tell you, but it would be more fun if you come in person. I want to see your reactions." She claimed like she was being playful. "There's so much about Ichika that you probably don't know yet."

"What are you talking about? I'm in no mood for games." Conner said as he was getting annoyed.

"Ironic from someone who loves to duel. If you really want to know what I'm talking about, come to the museum. I'll have my sister meet you at the entrance." That was all the mysterious caller said before she hung up. Normally, Conner would have turned down the offer and didn't want to be bothered with nonsense, but she did mention beating Ichika. It was just enough for Conner to check this out.

"Someone ready me a ride to the museum!" Conner called as he was on his way to get those answers.

...

The Museum

Conner followed along with what that call told him. He went over to the museum to meet this mystery caller.

"This better not be a waste of my time." Conner complained. Not understanding why this person wanted to meet here of all places, he still went along with it and kept his eyes open for this sister of the caller. He just stood out of the entrance like she said and just waited there.

"Hello, Mr. Knight." Conner looked ahead of him and was faced with a blue-haired girl with glasses. "We've been waiting for you. My name is Kanzashi Sarashiki. My big sister is waiting for you inside."

"She better have what she claims. You wouldn't want to make me mad." Conner threatened.

"Don't worry. She'll give you what you're looking for. Follow me." Kanzashi said as she went on ahead with Conner following. "Our family actually owns this museum. We bestow here the history of famous figures and important people, both in mythology and reality."

"I don't really believe in myths." Conner claimed. "If those figures are so powerful, they would be considered real."

"Who's to say they aren't?" Kanzashi said. "Sometimes myths and reality are one in the same, but people don't believe the stories are real because some facts don't sound believable, scientific, or anything."

"I didn't come here for history or myth lessons. Where are you taking me?" Conner questioned.

"Down here." Kanzashi said as she opened up a door way that went to a lower level. "This part of the museum isn't open to the public. You and she will be able to talk privately down there. There's something down there she would like for you to see."

"What I like to see is something that isn't a waste of my time." Conner said as he was skeptical about the whole thing and went on down. Conner didn't know what to expect, but he just went along with it. When he went down there, he was in a private room with only one thing in there. He saw a giant stone tablet with a carving of a man in there, and it looked like there two smaller figures carved above him. "What am I looking at?" When he took a look of the man in the carving, he was hit with a sense of familiarity. It looked just like someone he knew and he couldn't believe it. "It can't be! That looks like Ichika Orimura!"

"You think? The guy does look rather brave and powerful." Conner turned around and was met with another girl with blue hair wearing a gold band around her forehead.

"Who are you?" Conner said.

"Didn't my sister tell you? I'm the one that called you. My name is Tatenashi."

"Tatenashi? Nice name, now what the heck do you want with me?" Conner said.

"Straight to business. You really should lighten up more and try to enjoy life." Tatenashi said. "Let's talk about that tablet behind you. That tablet behind you is that of an ancient warrior from Japan. It is said that the world was falling to the wrath of darkness, but one brave warrior stood against it. Using the power of eight magical items, he was able to vanquish the darkness and saved the world."

"Did you bring me here to share some fairy tale?" Conner said as he didn't care. "You told me that you might have something that could help me defeat Ichika Orimura."

"I didn't say defeat him. I said I would suggest a way for you to face him without looking like some needy child who wants to battle." Tatenashi said. "The reason I bring this table up is because what is to come involves both you and this Ichika Orimura."

"Stop wasting my time and just get straight to the point." Conner insisted.

"You're looking for a way to face him again and I'm giving you this idea to do that." Tatenashi said. "Ichika Orimura became a big hit by beating you and winning Duel Island with him defeating Peggrin. So, why not host your own tournament."

"My own tournament?" Conner questioned.

"That's right. I have seen it all." Tatenashi said. "You're going to hold a tournament. I'm sure Ichika won't be able to resist it. By hosting your own tournament, and competing in it, you will have another shot at Ichika. You'll have a chance to duel him again. I've seen it all."

"What do you mean you've seen it all? How could you see anything like that?" Conner questioned.

"It's all thanks to this." Tatenashi said as she pointed to the band around her head. When Conner looked at it, he saw a familiar sign on it.

"That reminds me of that stupid patch that Peggrin wore." Conner said.

"Of course. This is the Mystic Tiara." Tatenashi claimed as she revealed another one of the eight artifacts. "It allows me to see images of the future."

"See the future? You mean you're psychic? Yeah, and I'm the Tooth Fairy." Conner said as he was a hard time believing all of that.

"You don't believe in the mystical ways? Didn't you have your own encounter with Peggrin?" Tatenashi said.

"Please. He somehow knocked me out or hypnotized me. It wasn't magic." Conner claimed.

"Someone appears to be in denial." Tatenashi teased. "Anyway, you want to know how the great warrior was able to gain the power he did. It's because he had help from those two figures above him." Conner had a look up and saw the two figures up top. "There names are Izanagi and Izanami."

"Izanagi and Izanami? Are those two the names of twin gods?" Conner questioned.

"Yes. They shared their power with him and he used that power to defeat this evil." Tatenashi said. "You would be interested to know that their power has been reincarnated in two cards, two very rare and powerful cards. They are the only ones in the world. Their powers combined with the power of the great warrior would make an unstoppable force."

"Two very rare cards, you say?" Conner said as that part did interest him.

"Yes, more than even your own White Eyes Silver Dragon, and more powerful." Tatenashi said. Two cards that could be more rare and more powerful than his own dragon was of interest to Conner indeed. "They have been reincarnated as Izanagi the Creator and Izanami the Destructor. Sadly, these cards have fallen into the wrong hands and he plans to use those cards for nefarious purposes."

"I still don't see what any of this has to do with me." Conner said. "You said you would have something that could help me defeat Ichika."

"I'm telling you all of this because you're the one who will initiate all of it." Tatenashi said. "The two cards, Ichika, the evil, and battles that determines the face of so many. It all begins by you hosting your own tournament. I'm not saying this as an opportunity to make a business deal. I'm just throwing something out there for you to think about, even if I already know the answer."

"And I'm throwing your wacky thoughts out the window." Conner said. "This has nothing to do with me and getting even with Ichika." Conner was ready to walk out of there and leave, but Tatenashi had something for him.

"You know, if someone had Izanami and Izanagi together, they would be a serious force. No one could stop them, probably be the best duelist in the world." Tatenashi said. "Hosting a tournament is also a good way to get a shot at Ichika. No way he would be able to resist the challenge." That certainly got Conner's interest. "Just something to think about." Conner has heard enough and went on out the door. He thought all that stuff she spouted was nonsense, but there was something that Tatenashi said that caught his interest.

'Seeing the future, a warrior that defeated darkness, and all that other stuff is just plain nonsense. What does she take me for? Well, she did give me a good idea.' Conner thought. 'Hosting my own tournament isn't a bad idea. It would promote my company, give me a shot at Ichika, and if there really are two cards that powerful, I will find them. Better watch out, Ichika Orimura.' Conner did get something out of this and it's set in motion of things that is to come.
