They float out in space, amazed by how it looks.
"Wow, this looks amazing, doesn't it, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"It sure does. I now know how those astronauts must feel," Sora said. A beeping is heard, Sora looked around and he pressed a button to see Brian's face on the screen.
"Looks like I got you on the screen. I was worried you would accidentally push the eject button," Brian joked.
"Didn't expect to see your face so soon," Sora said.
"There was something we forgot to inform you before you took off. Your magic will be able to allow you blend into the local environment in order to avoid drawing attention," Brian said.
"What do you mean by that?" Sora asked.
"You'll find out when it happens. Also, there's talk about the Princesses of Heart being in trouble. Ariel had a vision of it happening," Brian said.
"Any idea why Ganondorf is looking for the Princesses of Heart, Brian?" Kairi asked.
"Sorry, I can't help you two from there. Good luck on your way," Brian said, breaking contact.
The couple looked at each other and nodded at each other, knowing what they had to do.
They arrived to a blue planet and landed right on it. They looked around and saw how different it was from their own world, Hollow Bastion, and Traverse Town.
"Look at this place. Looks almost futuristic," Kairi said.
"Yeah, it does," Sora agreed. We shouldn't get carried away and act like a couple of tourists."
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
As they walked down the streets, keeping their eyes opened for the Heartless, they see a UFO flying over them.
"I think we made it to an alien invasion," Sora said.
"Or a Heartless invasion!" Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel said.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Let's follow it and see where it goes," Sora said. Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel agreed and went after the UFO. They followed it right to a small house. "It's heading over to that house!"
As they ran, a screen shows the image of an elderly man. He has gray curly, balding hairstyle shaped like bat wings, as well as a curly thick moustache a black dress shirt and red tie as well as dark pants with a belt buckle prominently displaying the letter W under a skull, alongside a white lab coat, which possessed purple inner linings. He is grinning evilly and laughed.
"Ladies and gentlemen, your attention, please. The name's Dr. Albert Wily! The one and only—the brilliant scientist, Dr. Wily! It may seem rather sudden to you, but I've decided I'd like to take over the world! Ahem! Anyway, to begin... Dr. Light! I'll be taking your precious robots!" Dr. Wily announced.
"I have a feeling he's the one inside that UFO," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"You're right, Kairi. He might have some Heartless with him," Sora said.
With that said, the couples ran towards the house.
Dr. Wily is now carrying a sack with the same logo on his belt. Below him is an elderly man with a white beard wearing a white lab coat over a light blue shirt, blue tie, red pants and brown shoes. With him are robots that has a humanoid appearance. One looks like a boy wearing a blue shirt and dark blue shorts. His knees has visible joints. The other has the appearance of a girl who has long blonde hair with fringed bangs. She has it tied back in a ponytail with a green ribbon. She wore a sleeveless red jacket/hoodie and a dark blue shirt.
"Albert, stop this please!" The elderly man pleaded.
"It's too late trying to reason with me, Dr. Thomas Light! Your prize creations will be the tools I will need to rule the world!" Dr. Wily said.
"You will use my robots to conquer the entire planet? What will that accomplish, Albert?" Dr. Light asked.
"It will show you that I'm a much better scientist than you are, but ever since we were schoolmates, your projects were always chosen over mine! The world will respect me after this!" Dr. Wily said. "Now to take what remains of your robots!" A robotic hand grabs them both.
"Dad!" The robots cried.
"Rock! Roll! No!" Dr. Light cried.
The couple shows up just in time.
"Use Iron Tail!" Sora ordered. Pikachu jumped and cuts the robotic hand, dropping them. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel ran up to them. "Don't worry. You're safe." Dr. Wily was angered by their interference.
"How dare you get in my way, you insolent brats!" Dr. Wily growled.
"We're not letting you take them!" Sora said.
"You think you can stop me? You obviously have no idea whom you are dealing with!" Dr. Wily said. Suddenly Heartless appeared all around them, much to the evil scientist's surprise. Some of them have the slight resemblance to the Soldiers, but they're more robotic in appearance and they appear to have an arm cannon on their right arms, and they had rounded helmets. We'll call them Robot Soldiers. The Heartless symbol is right on their chests. The other Heartless consisted of Shadows, Red Nocturnes, Blue Rhapsodies, Yellow Operas, Green Requiems, and Large Bodies. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and held them tight. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel engaged the Heartless, destroying some of them. Seeing it as an opportunity to escape, he gets inside of the UFO and flies away. The Green Requiems kept healing the Large Bodies, but their bodies gave off their rage aura, so Kairi managed to finish them off as Sora has finished off the Large Bodies.
"Just as I thought. The Heartless did come here," Sora said.
"Thank you for saving my son and daughter for me," Dr. Light said.
"We're just glad we made it in time," Kairi said.
"Just what were they, dad?" Rock asked.
"I don't know. Those monsters have only shown up just recently. I thought they were just only a rumor," Dr. Light said. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Thomas Light. And these are my helper robots and children, Rock and Roll."
"Hi," Rock said.
"Hello," Roll said.
"Nice to meet you. My name's Sora and this is Pikachu," Sora introduced himself.
"And I'm Kairi and meet Angel," Kairi introduced herself.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said. Roll was captivated by them when she saw them.
"Oh, aren't they the cutest things you've ever seen? This one is really cute because of the pink ribbon," Roll cooed.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"So, what was that all about? I mean, what was his problem?" Sora asked.
"Perhaps I should explain. His name is Albert Wily. He was my friend from my younger days. Albert and I worked in the field of robotics, but Albert has always grown so jealous. I tried to reason with him, but he refused to listen to me. And you saw what became of him," Dr. Light said.
"What did he steal from you, doctor?" Kairi asked.
"Six of my other creations. Each one built for a specific purpose to aid humanity. Now that Dr. Wily has them, I'm afraid he might reprogram them for his conquest," Dr. Light said. He sighed. "And when it happens, many will be placing the blame on me since I created them."
"Dad, it's not your fault," Roll said.
"Roll's right, dad. You once said that there are things that even a robot can't control," Rock said. Dr. Light smiled.
"You're right, Rock. Thank you. son," Dr. Light said. Sora and Kairi smiled as they saw that they were a real family, regardless if they were human or not.
Meanwhile, Dr. Wily has six robots out of the sack. One is a slightly short slender robot with a spherical scarlet red head with blue eyes, silver eyelids and handlebars on the sides of his head resembling ears, holding his cutter on the top of his head attached to a base that uses to remove and put. He also sports a white suit with gloves, a pelvic plate and boots matching his head.
Another is an enormous buff robot with blue eyes, a half cubic jaw and a huge upper body with massive arms. He sport a yellow, red and black armour, he has a red button like accessory in the center of his chest plate and another one in the center of his helmet.
Another is a small Inuit-like robot with big green eyes and a plain face. His eyes' outlines slightly resemble round glasses. He sports a sky blue suit with a hood surrounded by white fluff, white gloves, a white belt and white boots.
Another is a rotund robot with a yellow head holding his red mohawk and beak-like jaws, his body is black and spherical resembling a bomb covered by a red chest plate and red- yellow limbs matching his head.
Another is a medium-height robot with blue eyes and a silver suit with red pieces of armor. His helmet resembles that of a medieval knight, as well as a torch which emits a flame; it also holds a piece covering his mouth. He also has both of his forearms as red arm cannons.
And the last one is an average height robot with blue eyes, gray eyelids and black, red and yellow armor. He sports a black helmet holding a yellow mask with a lightning bolt motif, his upper body is entirely red, covered by a black chest plate with a lightning bolt in the center and yellow cuffs around his wrists, and his lower body is black, holding yellow boots.
"With Dr. Light's industrial robots under my control, I will be unstoppable! Now to reprogram them and have them obey me," Dr. Light said, typing in a code. The robots all opened their eyes and stood up. "Welcome to life, Robot Masters."
"Who are you?" The red robot asked.
"Why, I'm Dr. Albert Wily. I was the one who created you, Cut Man," Dr. Wily said.
"Cut Man?" The red robot asked. "I like it."
"It should be appropriate since you have the ability to cut through the toughest of steel. Guts Man, you have tremendous strength. Bomb Man, you are an unstoppable demolitions master. Ice Man, you can freeze your enemies into place. Fire Man, no one else's fire can burn in the same passion as yours. And finally, Elec Man, your power over electricity shall rival no one else's. You six shall serve as my robot generals into making this our opportunity to rise to power and conquer the world."
"Yeah, why not show those weaklings what we can do!" Guts Man said.
"Well spoken, Guts Man. I will give you each an assignment soon. For now, rest, because the rest of the upgrades have not been installed as of yet," Dr. Wily said. The Robot Masters shuts down as the scientist begins to reprogram them further.
Back in the Light residence, it didn't take long until the Robot Masters have launched their attack.
"I was afraid this would happen. The Robot Masters are attacking," Dr. Light said.
"We gotta stop them," Sora said.
"I don't know if we can," Kairi said.
"We gotta try, Kairi. We can't do nothing," Sora said.
"Sora's right," Rock agreed. "Dad, I need you to make me a fighting robot." Dr. Light just looked at him like he was crazy.
"No, Rock! I cannot allow it. I didn't build you to be a fighting robot," Dr. Light said.
"But dad, they have to be stopped. And I'm the only one who can do it. And just like Sora said, we gotta try. We can't do nothing," Rock said. Dr. Light saw how serious he was being, and he also saw he didn't have a choice.
"If that is what you want, Rock, then I have no choice but to do it," Dr. Light said.
"You sure, Rock?" Sora asked.
"I'm sure. Dr. Wily stole my friends and he's making them do bad things, and I can't forgive that. It takes a robot to stop a robot," Rock said.
"We will begin right away," Dr. Light said. It took him several minutes to get it done. Rock came out wearing blue armor. He wore a skintight bodysuit with large rounded coverings on the lower arms and legs, and typical 'superhero briefs'. His helmet has a raised light blue square in the forehead and a light blue ridge running straight back from the square, resembling an exclamation mark. His helmet also features round light blue sections with red circles in the center over his ears. "It is done."
"Whoa, looking good, Rock," Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora. But I was thinking of calling myself Mega Man," Rock said. His right arm turned into a cannon-like weapon. Rock was very surprised to see what his arm turned into. "What's this?"
"That is your weapon. It is known as the Mega Buster. You will use it to fire shots at anything coming your way. Also, I have given you the ability to acquire the weapons of the Robot Masters when you defeat them," Dr. Light said.
"I'll use it for justice," Mega Man said. Dr. Light said nothing.
"How about letting us come along Rock, I mean, Mega Man. You might not know when those things might show up," Sora said.
"Sora, you sure you wanna do that?" Mega Man asked.
"Well, I don't know how many robots have hearts, but I can tell you have a pretty strong heart. And those monsters might come for you," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Also, we can work as a team, Mega Man," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Okay, let's get started," Mega Man said.
The fight against Dr. Wily has begun. Joining their new friend, Mega Man, they set off with him to fight the Robot Masters and the Heartless that will come their way. Will Dr. Wily's heart succumb to the darkness? Just wait and see.
"You will need the proper coordinates before you depart. I shall grant them to you," Dr. Light said.
