Their first mission begins in an abandoned warehouse. They looked around for any signs of the Heartless, and so far, they didn't see any.
"The coast is clear for now," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"We shouldn't let our guard down, because they could jump out at any moment," Kairi said.
"She's right. Those things looked mean," Mega Man said. Just then, several Robot Soldiers appeared and attacked. Sora and Kairi quickly summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Heartless. Mega Man shot at one of them and he was shocked to see a heart floating in the air and disappeared.
"Was that a heart?" Mega Man asked. Just then, another Robot Soldier appeared and prepared to fire at the Blue Bomber. Pikachu dashed at the Heartless with Quick Attack and sends it towards Sora who finished it off with a swing of his Keyblade.
"Mega Man, don't get distracted!" Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"They'll get to you if you get clareless," Sora said. The Heartless came at them, but Kairi casts her thunder spell and struck them. They dissolved into darkness. A new Heartless appeared before them. It was the robotic version of the Large Body Heartless. It has metal hands. Instead of bodysuits, they had metal torsos with the Heartless symbol on the chest. These Heartless shall be called Large Robots. The Large Robots fired their fists at Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel. They fly around like missles. Sora and Kairi tried to hit the Large Robots in the head, but it was proving to be difficult since they were faster and stronger than the Large Bodies. Sora and Kairi cast their stop spells and temporarily froze the Large Robots, so they struck the Large Robots down. Hearts floats up in the air.
Once the Heartless were dealt with, they moved on. They came into a large room.
"Cut Man should be somewhere in this room," Mega Man said.
"Cut Man?" Sora asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Cut Man is one of the Robot Masters. Dr. Light built him to be a timber-telling robot. I don't even want to think about what Dr. Wily programed him to do," Mega Man said. A pair of scissors comes at them. Kairi was quick to notice it.
"Look out!" Kairi yelled as she tackled Sora down. Mega Man ducked his head as the scissors returns to their owner. It was Cut Man who caught it.
"Cut Man!" Mega Man said. He ran up to the red robot with a smile. "Cut Man, it's me, Rock! Don't you remember?"
"I am under orders from Dr. Wily to destroy anyone who will interfere with Dr. Wily's plans," Cut Man said. Mega Man looked at Cut Man and he knew he changed.
"Cut Man, do you even hear what you're saying?" Mega Man asked.
"I'm hearing it clearly! I'm going to cut you up!" Cut Man said, grabbing his scissors and threw them at Mega Man. He ducked his head and he fired his Mega Buster at the Robot Master, but he dodged. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and held them tight.
"We got your back, Mega Man!" Sora said.
"He won't cut these," Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Mega Man engaged Cut Man as he threw his scissors at them. Sora dodges it just by rolling as Kairi cartwheels out of the way. He rushes at them, holding his scissors. Kairi casts her balloon spell, hitting him as Sora threw his Keyblade, hitting him. Mega Man fired a few shots as Pikachu and Angel lands a hit with their Iron Tail.
"Take this!" Cut Man shouted, coming at them. "I'm going to cut you up!" When he got hit. "Ow! That hurts! Hey, cut it out! You bullies!" He rushes at them again. He got angered by the assault he was receiving. "Now I'm mad! Time to bring out the big one!" Cut Man's scissors grew bigger than normal and threw them at them. Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, and the Pokémon engaged Cut Man again, dealing some damage onto him. Cut Man was given the finishing blow by Mega Man. "I just couldn't cut it!" He fell backwards. Just then, Mega Man's copy chip activates. His armor turned gray. "I just got Cut Man's weapon!" Just then, Cut Man is teleported out of the warehouse.
"Where did he go?" Kairi asked.
"I think Wily has something to do with this," Sora said.
"Vee," Angel said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"I think you're right, Sora. Dr. Wily was willing to give up that easily. We'll have to head back to my house and make a plan to deal with the next Robot Master," Mega Man said.
Sora and Kairi agreed with the Blue Bomber, so they teleported back to Mega Man's house.
Cut Man arrived into Dr. Wily's lab and he was displeased by Cut Man's defeat.
"Cut Man was defeated by that blue robot and those two children from before. This isn't how I planned at all!" Dr. Wily exclaimed.
"Plans can do awry," a voice spoke. Dr. Wily quickly turned around when he heard the voice.
"Who's there? Show yourself!" Dr. Wily demanded. Just then, Ganondorf appeared before the elderly scientist.
"As you wish, Albert Wily," Ganondorf said.
"Who are you? And how do you know my name?" Dr. Wily asked.
"I know quite about you, good doctor. You may call me Ganondorf. And I have come to assist you," Ganondorf said.
"Assist me? You? How absurd!" Dr. Wily scoffed.
"I can understand you have doubts. But I assure you, I can help you with your goals," Ganondorf said.
"I don't see how you're going to be any help to me! I am quite capable," Dr. Wily said.
"I know, but I can make you even more powerful than you think, Dr. Wily. With the proper power," Ganondorf said.
"Proper power? What are you proposing?" Dr. Wily asked.
"What I told you that you can have power beyond your imagination. Power that can defeat those three," Ganondorf said. Dr. Wily was intrigued by the idea.
"Keep talking," Dr. Wily said.
"The power I am speaking of is the power of darkness. And with that power is the power to command the Heartless," Ganondorf said.
"Heartless?" Dr. Wily asked.
"Give it a try and you shall see," Ganondorf said. Dr. Wily thought for a moment, and that was when the Heartless appeared before him.
"The creatures that appeared at Dr. Light's house. I can really control them?" Dr. Wily asked.
"You can. The Heartless will obey any command you give them. But I shall warn you that such a gift comes with a price. If you rely too heavily on the darkness, then you shall lose your heart to them," Ganondorf said.
"I can handle them just fine and I'm going to do it my way," Dr. Wily said as Ganondorf took his leave.
Back in the Light household, Dr. Light surprised to hear Dr. Wily teleported Cut Man out before he could rescue him. But he was proud Mega Man was able to acquire his weapon.
"I must say, I'm surprised Dr. Wily would go through such measures to keep Cut Man out of my reach," Dr. Light said.
"Dr. Light, I would like to ask why he copied Cut Man's weapon?" Sora asked.
"Each of my Robot Masters has a weakness. I figured it would come in handy to aide Mega Man in the mission to rescue the Robot Masters, but I honestly had my doubts since he only had the Mega Buster since it wouldn't be enough against the Robot Masters despite how powerful the Mega Buster is," Dr. Light said.
"Dr. Light, if it's okay to ask, but why is he doing this?" Kairi asked.
"Albert and I were once schoolmates in our younger days. He and I did have our disagreements, but they were only petty compared to now. Albert has always been jealous because my projects were always chosen over his. I never could forsee this outcome," Dr. Light said.
"My dad always said that there are things no one can control," Kairi said.
"My mom said the same thing," Sora said.
"They would be right. Albert taking over the world isn't the Albert Wily I used to know. I suppose the Albert Wily I knew from those days is gone for good," Dr. Light said. Roll came in.
"Dr. Light, there's a disturbance at the power plant!" Roll said.
"That has to be Elec Man. He will drain the power from the entire city if he isn't stopped. And that gives you a chance to use Cut Man's weapon. It is known as Rolling Cutter," Dr. Light said.
"I'm on it!" Mega Man said.
"Hold on. Take this with you," Dr. Light said, handing Mega Man a device.
"What is it?" Mega Man asked.
"This device is what I shall call Magnet Beam," Dr. Light said.
"Magnet Beam?" Sora, Kairi, and Mega Man asked.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Vee?" Angel asked.
"What does it do?" Mega Man asked.
"Magnet Beam creates energy beams to used as platforms. Give it a try," Dr. Light said. Mega Man generates a small beam of energy and he gets on it.
"Wow, it's incredible," Mega Man said. The platform disappeared and he fell.
"But use it sparingly, because the effects are temporary, so move fast if you shall use them," Dr. Light said.
"I got it. Sora, Kairi, let's go," Mega Man said.
"Right," the couple said, going with the Blue Bomber.
Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel left to deal with Elec Man. They were beamed to a power plant. It was going wild with all the access electricity flowing around.
"This reminds me of the power plant we visited just recently," Sora whispered.
"Me too. Elec Man's gotta be behind this," Kairi whispered.
Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel ventured through the power plant, but they fought some robots that came at them. Along the way, they're encountered by the Heartless. The Heartless consisted of Shadows, Yellow Operas, and Soldiers Among them are Heartless that resembles light bulbs. They had the Heartless symbol on the front of the bulbs and they had robotic limbs. These shall be known as Bright Bulbs.
The Bright Bulbs fired beams of light at them, so Sora and Kairi engaged the attacking Heartless. Mega Man shot some of them out of the way.
They fought their way through, eventually reaching Elec Man in the main generator.
"Rock, I was told that you were heading this way. I'm going to electrocute all of you after what you did to Cut Man," Elec Man said.
"Elec Man, please. I'm here to bring you home just so Dr. Light can fix you up," Mega Man said.
"Dr. Wily did warn me that you would try to deceive me, and he was right. Get ready to be in quite a shock!" Elec Man said. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and engaged Elec Man.
Pikachu fired Thunderbolt at Elec Man, but it does nothing to him, but he absorbs it.
"Don't use your electricity, Pikachu, you're only feeding him," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said, hanging his head in defeat.
"Here I come!" Elec Man said, unleashing his electric burst. Mega Man unleashed Rolling Cutter at Elec Man, hitting him. "Yeow! You're going to pay for that!" He fired a jolt of electricity at them. Sora dodges as Kairi casts her reflect spell to block. "Eat this!" He forms a ball of electricity and threw it. Mega Man fired Rolling Cutter once again and it lands the finishing blow. Elec Man is teleported out by Dr. Wily, but Mega Man has gained Elec Man's weapon. His armor turned black and yellow.
They teleported out of the power plant and returned to the Light house.
"Welcome back. The power plant is returning to normal," Dr. Light said.
"Dr. Light, what is this weapon I acquired?" Mega Man asked.
"You have gained Thunder Beam. It fires a beam of electricity," Dr. Light said.
"Hence the name," Sora said.
"But the trouble's not over yet. The tropical district is covered in ice and snow!" Roll said.
"Ice Man," Dr. Light said. "You must stop Ice Man before it gets worse," Dr. Light said.
"Let's go!" Mega Man said.
With that said, the couple, the Pokémon, and the Blue Bomber arrived in the now frozen tropical district.
"Brr, it's so cold here," Kairi said, shivering.
"I guess now's the good time to put on our coats," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said, shivering.
"Vee," Angel said, also shivering. Pikachu held Angel close and held her close. Sora and Kairi quickly put on their sweaters and they both match.
"I'm thinking our moms had something to do with this," Sora said.
"I was thinking of the same thing," Kairi said.
They ventured their way through the tropical tundra, following the trail to Ice Man. Along the way, they were encountered by robotic penguins. Sora and Kairi cast their fire spells at the penguin robot penguins. Then a new Heartless appeared before them. They resembled penguins. The Heartless symbols are on their bellies. They had razor sharp flippers, making them shaped like buck 120 knives. These penguin Heartless are known as the Razor Penguin. The other penguin Heartless all had axes on their flippers. Hence they shall be known as the Axe Penguin. Other Heartless also consisted of Shadows, Robot Soldiers, and Blue Rhapsodies.
They engaged the Heartless once again, fighting their way through. Mega Man accessed the Magnet Beam and uses it to create a bridge when they came to a bridge, torn down. They quickly crossed it as several more robots and Heartless attacked.
"How much further is it?" Sora asked.
"I think we're getting closer. This bit of ice looks very recent," Mega Man said.
"Great. Let's warm him up," Kairi said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel found Ice Man as he took notice of them.
"Rock? Is that you? What are you doing here?" Ice Man asked.
"Ice Man, I have come to bring you home," Mega Man said.
"No, I'm not a bad robot like you! I must freeze you to stop you!" Ice Man said. He jumped up and fired ice arrowheads. Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel dodges as fast as they could go, but they managed to get close to Ice Man. "Freeze!" Ice Man lets out a frozen burst. Sora and Kairi struck him with their Keyblades. Mega Man access his Thunder Beam as Pikachu fired Thunderbolt. The two electric attacks struck Ice Man, dealing double the damage to the icy Robot Master. "I froze out!" Once Ice Man was defeated, Mega Man's Copy Chip activates and he gained Ice Man's weapon. Mega Man's armor becomes dark blue Dr. Wily transports Ice Man back to safety as Mega Man and the couples are teleported out.
They returned to the house, much for the relief of Sora since he took his sweater off.
"Man, that feels better," Sora said.
"That's three Robot Masters down and three to go," Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"We may have beaten three of them, but that isn't getting us closer to finding Dr. Wily," Mega Man said.
"I agree. He did an excellent job in covering his tracks. We can worry about that after we have dealt with the remaining three Robot Masters. Which reminds me. Fire Man's signal has been pinpointed to the abandoned smelting plant," Dr. Light said. "You should be able to cool him off with your Ice Slasher."
"Let's go," Mega Man said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel arrived to the abandoned smelting plant. But it didn't look so abandoned from the inside. Several robots were seen, flinging embers at them, so Mega Man blasted them. Heartless were there as well. Shadows, Robot Soldiers, Red Nocturnes, have appeared. Among these Heartless are all dragon-like Heartless. They're green with large wings. They had spikes going down from the top of the head to the end of the tail. They had Heartless yellow eyes and the Heartless symbol on their foreheads. These Heartless are known as the Fire Green Dragon. The Fire Green Dragon spews fire at the Keyblade wielding Pokémon Trainers as they engaged the Heartless. Kairi casts her magnet spell to pull them all in and finished them off with her water spell.
After dealing with the Heartless, Mega Man made good use of Magnet Beam when they came across a fire pit. The further they went, the hotter it got, knowing how close Fire Man is. They finally found Fire Man as a pillar of flames appeared before them.
"Fire! My flames burns like no other!" Fire Man said.
"Fire Man, calm down!" Mega Man pleaded.
"Evildoers, I'll burn you into cinders!" Fire Man shouted firing flames from his arms. Mega Man equipped his Ice Slasher and fired at Fire Man. Sora's Keyblade emits ice and threw it and Kairi casts her blizzard spell. Pikachu and Angel dashed at Fire Man as he fought back. He fired fireballs all around. Small fireballs surrounds Fire Man as he fired a bigger fireball at them. "Burn! The fires of justice will never be extinguished!" Kairi casts her water spell, making Fire Man wet. The flame on his head goes out.
"Mega Man! Now!" Kairi said. Mega Man fired Ice Slasher at Fire Man, hitting him and finished him off.
"My fire's out," Fire Man said, defeated.
Mega Man's Copy Chip activates and he copies Fire Man's weapon. Mega Man's armor turned red and orange. Fire Man teleports out of the smelting plant.
"Thought that warmed me up," Sora said.
"Chu," Pikachu said.
"We have two more to deal with," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Let's back to Dr. Light's house and see which one of them is next," Sora said.
"Right," Mega Man agreed.
Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel returned to Dr. Light's house to prepare for the next Robot Master. After arriving, an alert is heard as a facility is under attack.
"What's going on here?" Kairi asked.
"It's Bomb Man! He's making his move!" Dr. Light exclaimed.
"I'm gonna guess he's weak against fire," Sora said.
"Yes. Fire Man's Fire Storm shall make good work. But be careful, because Bomb Man is very dangerous!" Dr. Light warned.
"I'll be careful," Mega Man said.
Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel arrived to the facility. Strange orb-like towers are seen all around.
"Wonder how hard is it to find Bomb Man," Sora said.
"Not too hard. Bomb Man's bombs are nothing to sneeze at. I just hope we don't run into anymore of those things on the way there," Mega Man said.
"I wouldn't get my hopes up too high if I were you," Sora said. Just then, several Minute Bombs appeared before them. "Told you."
"We gotta get rid of them," Kairi said.
"Eevee!" Angel agreed.
Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel engaged the Heartless and struck them. Several missles are fired at them, but thanks to the weapons acquired from the previous Robot Masters, Mega Man uses them to fight back, causing them to explode. They fought their way past the Heartless and the attacking robots. Among them is a green robot with one single eye. It held a shield and has an arm cannon. The green robot fires at them.
"So, any idea who and what that is?" Sora asked.
"Sniper Joe! Dr. Light designed them himself, but he quit from the military just so he could work on helpful robots. Dr. Wily must have been reprogramming them as well!" Mega Man explained.
"Do they have any weakness?" Sora asked.
"From I heard, they're vulnerable when they move their shields to fire," Mega Man said. Sniper Joe moved the shield, giving Mega Man a chance to aim and fire. Sniper Joe is struck hard in the chest. "I didn't want to do that to him."
"It's not his fault, Mega Man. Dr. Wily is to blame for all this," Kairi said.
"She's right. Wily caused this mess to happen, so we're going to put an end to it," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"You're right. Let's keep going," Mega Man said.
Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel went further in and they found Bomb Man throwing bombs all around. He turned around and he smiled.
"Hey, don't run off! Let's have fun with my explosives!" Bomb Man said.
"Is this guy for real?" Sora asked.
"That's very dangerous, Bomb Man! Stop setting off explosives!" Mega Man said.
"You shoulda come the day before yesterday! I had some big boom-booms then!" Bomb Man said.
"Okay, that's too much info!" Kairi said.
"Not those boom-booms!" Bomb Man exclaimed. He took out a bomb and held it. "These boom-booms!" He threw the bomb at them. Sora summoned his Keyblade and swung it like a baseball bat.
"Batter up!" Sora shouted as he struck the bomb and it explodes when it hits the ceiling. Kairi summoned her Keyblade and she and Sora engaged Bomb Man. Mega Man fired his Fire Storm weapon at him, striking him as Pikachu and Angel used Iron Tail on him.
"You're going to get a bang out of this!" Bomb Man, throwing some more of his bombs. "Bombs away!" Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel dodges the bombs as they come raining down on them. Sora's Kingdom Key emits fire and he threw it, striking the bombs. Mega Man fired another Fire Storm, hitting the demolitions Robot Master. "That burns me up!" The fight went on until Bomb Man is defeated. "Kaboom!" Bomb Man fell on his back, beaten as Mega Man's Copy Chip activates and acquires Bomb Man's weapon. Mega Man's armor turned dark green. Bomb Man is teleported out by Dr. Wily and they return to Dr. Light's house.
"That's five Robot Masters beaten and that leaves only Guts Man left to deal with," Mega Man said.
"And you couldn't be more right, Rock!" Roll said, coming in with Dr. Light. "He's been spotted at a construction site just outside the city!"
"This will be a good time to use the Hyper Bomb you've acquired from Bomb Man," Dr. Light said.
"Construction is what Guts Man was built for, and we have to stop him before he does some serious damage," Mega Man said.
"But will that get us closer to finding where Dr. Wily is hiding?" Sora asked.
"We will worry about that after you get back," Dr. Light said.
Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel arrived to the construction site where they saw several small robots wearing what looks like construction hats.
"What do you call those little guys?" Sora asked.
"They're Mets. They were built for construction same as Guts Man. Dr. Wily must have built a lot of these for own personal use," Mega Man said. The Mets all attacked. Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel engaged the Mets. Appearing are the Heartless. The Heartless consisted of Shadows, Robot Soldiers, Hammer Frames and Large Robots and some new Heartless. One of them resembles jackhammers. They have blue and light purple coatings. They have the Heartless symbol in the front and yellow eyes near the top. They shall be known as Jack Breakers. There are Heartless that resembles screwdrivers. They had crimson handles with the Heartless symbol on the handles. They shall be known as Torx. Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel engaged the Heartless once again. The Jack Breakers shattered the ground as they charged and the Torx spins around, heading right for them. Sora and Kairi cast their zero gravity spell, making them float up as Pikachu uses Thunderbolt to destroy them.
"Good job, Pikachu," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
They went down further in the construction site and they're greeted by two large yellow Heartless that resembles construction vehicles. One of them looks like a wrecking ball crane. The wrecking ball has a jagged mouth and yellow eyes while the main body has a mouth and the same jagged mouth at the windshield. The Heartless symbol is on the rear. The other Heartless a bulldozer. It has the same yellow eyes and the Heartless symbol is on the blade. The wrecking ball Heartless is known as the Breaker Ball, and the bulldozer Heartless is known as the Bulldozer.
"Uh-oh," Sora said.
The giant Heartless heads right at them as Mega Man fired his Mega Buster at the Breaker Ball. The Bulldozer drove at them with rocks and debris at the blade. Sora and Kairi casts their stone spell, hitting them as Angel fired Swift at them. Those did very little damage to them. The Breaker Ball swings its ball down, catching them in the blast. Sora threw his Keyblade at the chain of the Breaker Ball and it fell to the ground. Sora threw his Keyblade again, hitting the Breaker Ball as the Bulldozer heads right towards them. Mega Man fired his Hyper Bomb at the Bulldozer, hitting it. Sora and Pikachu jumped and slashed the Breaker Ball as Kairi and Angel slashed through the Bulldozer. The giant Heartless collapsed and hearts floats up in the air upon their destruction.
"Are you okay, Sora?" Kairi asked.
"I'm fine. How about you?" Sora asked.
"I'm okay," Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
After they got done with the Heartless, they continued on ahead right to the heart of the site as Guts Man saw them.
"Hey, men only! Little kiddies don't belong here. Go home before you get hurt!" Guts Man said.
"Is he for real?" Kairi asked.
"Vee," Angel said.
"It's time to clock out, Guts Man," Mega Man said.
"You big idiots! What'll happen to me if I get fired?! I'm gonna take you down with me!" Guts Man said. Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades.
"Here he comes," Sora said.
"I'll pound you to the ground!" Guts Man said, coming at them. Guts Man came at them with his fist ready to go. Sora, Kairi, Mega Man, Pikachu, and Angel dodged his punch attack. Rocks and debris goes flying in the air. Mega Man equips with Hyper Bomb and he threw the bomb at Guts Man. The explosive hits the construction Robot Master, but he was still standing. "Don't make me mad!" Sora and Kairi came running at him, but Guts Man lifted a giant boulder and threw it. "Here you go!" Kairi casts her reflect spell and the boulder shatters. "Why you little-!" Pikachu and Angel jumps on the rocks and they fired Thunderbolt and Swift, hitting him. Mega Man threw another Hyper Bomb while Guts Man was distracted and the explosive blasts him, sending him against a wall. "My work is done."
Mega Man's Copy Chip activates once again and he obtained Guts Man's weapon as Guts Man is teleported by Dr. Wily.
Speaking of which, Dr. Wily was monitoring their activities from his fortress.
"Those three are better in sych than I thought. It looks like I'll have to end them myself," Dr. Wily said.
Now that all six Robot Masters were defeated, all that was left was Dr. Wily himself. What does Dr. Wily have planned for them? Wait and find out.
