Author's Note
Well, I hadn't been expecting to write a Stardew Valley story. I'd been sick recently and had a lot of free time, so I picked this game up and immediately fell in love.
It's a crossover, I'm sure you know, but having Deidara as the main character was inspired by the character I created in the game, which inspired this story a day later. That thought led to how I could mix the Stardew Valley universe with the Naruto one. It's not explained now, but I'll eventually get around to it.
No, Deidara will not be some super human in this story. But I've taken some creative liberty with his character, something you'll learn if I continue this...
Will it be a harem? Will it not?
Haven't decided yet...

Chapter 1
A new guy in town...
Rated-M
A dull and lifeless drone filled the stale dying airof a bland work office, the only sound serving to mix up the space being that of the clacking of keyboards being pressed endlessly.
Day in and day out it was this way, never changing, typing away until you retired or worse. No music, no snacks, no fun, no women, no art…
No art...
Nothing but time spent slaving away for a mindless corporation as just another lifeless drone in the hive, never to see the light of the real world, time spent working long unending hours inside.
It made him sick…
He'd been here for a year now, and he was sick. It was touted as a good job, a great place to start so he could work his way up to the top. That being said, what sounded so great about being the leader of said hive when all your coworkers were just as dead inside as you?
Nothing…
How was he supposed to live his life to the fullest if he was being stifled to death inside these four white walls day in and day out? It just wasn't going to happen here…
Maybe his grandpa was right…
Maybe there really was something better for him out there. He was already twenty years old, and he didn't want to spend another year here.
"Deidara! Make sure you get those reports filed on time!" A voice shouted at him.
They always shouted at him. Why couldn't they just talk like a normal person? Was that too much to ask?
"Uh huh…" He muttered, not even turning to give them the time of day. That would take effort, effort he didn't have. They didn't deserve his effort anyway.
He couldn't be bothered…
"And make sure your work space is clean before you leave!"
"Hmm Hmm…" He hummed, shoulders slumped forwards, eyes glued to the screen. His work space was always clean, left spotless unlike anyone else in the building. Yet they still took that chance to chew him out.
And they'd nag him about menial things too, never giving him a break. He was their best employee in years, and they didn't care that they were chasing him away.
"And no slacking off! We don't want to catch you flirting with the receptionist again! If management finds out, then you're in serious trouble!"
"Uh huh…" He stated noncommittally, sounding as uncaring as possible. He'd only flirt with her when not on the clock, so that couldn't be counted as slacking off anyway.
He really wished they'd just leave him be, but then again, that was apparently asking too much.
It was so much easier to deal with the boring work life that way. Silence was nice when the only other sound was shouting.
"And another thing! If we catch you-"
He wasn't sure when he completely and utterly tuned the guy out, but it definitely happened early enough for him to blank everything and try to focus on his work.
But even then it was becoming nearly impossible to even motivate himself to lift his hands to use the keyboard. Glancing down at his hands, he realized that they'd be so much better spent doing something meaningful.
Like making art. Real art. Not this computer generated shlock that was printed in mass sold to the lifeless masses.
Joja corp.
Was a complete disappointment..
He'd tuned the man out so long that he never realized when he'd left him, turning around to find himself alone.
He sighed, lone blue eye dimmed, the other hidden behind his long blond locks.
He couldn't keep living like this…
It just wasn't going to happen. He felt like he was going hollow…
Maybe he could get some water, stand up for a moment to clear his head. It was time for a break anyway.
-Thunk-
He stood up, leg catching his desk drawer. It slid open partially. He went to close it, but something caught his eye. His eyes widened as he froze for a moment, before he took hold of an unopened letter in his drawer.
It was from his uncle, given to him just before he died. Vaguely, his uncle's last words to him came back to him suddenly.
"When the world you live in becomes too much to bear, and the weight of the modern life drags you down, open this letter."
Those were some of the last words his uncle left for him, making sure he remembered them clearly.
He'd never opened the letter, not even out of curiosity.
But…
But now seemed like such a perfect time. The world he lived in was such a drag, and he felt like he'd sooner lose his sanity then live here any longer then he needed to.
He didn't hesitate, ripping the old letter open.
As his eyes slowly took in the old man's words, he felt that dying light of his start to return. In the letter, he spoke of a time where he too felt like his life was hitting rock bottom, and how he sought to change that. How he missed people, making connections with others, doing what he loved. Living with nature at his side, and a land full of real genuine people. He probably wouldn't have to worry about housing either, the letter stating that a house was ready and waiting for him.
That sounded nice and all, but he wasn't sure the farm life was for him.
But…
Perhaps there'd be women there? Everyone here in town was so unimaginably boring and lifeless. He could really use a woman in his life. He wasn't picky, not at all. If someone sought after him, he couldn't bring himself to say no. Easier to make them happy while finding happiness along the way.
And who knows, maybe he'd be able to better create true pieces of art out there? If he got a girlfriend, he'd love to paint her...
"Deidara! What did I say about slacking off?! This is your last cha-"
And there came the old annoyance, stabbing at his ears once again. His eyes narrowed, life filling them once more.
He decided. Forget Joja corp, forget this city and it's boring people. He was going to go find real people, out in the real world!
"Hey! Are you even listening to me?!"
"I quit." He said simply, grabbing his few things.
"W-What??"
"Later." He laughed, waving to his manager as he walked out…
"Deidara!!!"
The next day found the young handsome blond haired blue eyed man boarding a bus, with the destination set for Stardew Valley. When he told the bus driver where he was headed, the man gave him a hearty laugh and welcomed him aboard.
Something about the town needing a young handsome man to spruce up the people's boring lives.
Whatever that was about, he didn't look too far into it.
Nevertheless, he'd taken his seat only a few spots behind the driver, one suitcase of personal belongings being the only thing he brought along with him.
That and, a small bouquet of flowers. He wanted to make a good first impression, and if he was lucky then there'd be a beautiful girl waiting for him when he arrived. He wasn't one to wish upon a star, but he knew he was definitely great at flirting, if the few girls in his old city were anything to go off of.
He was just praying that there was at least one girl in town. He wasn't planning on living on a men only farm…
Erk!
He shivered at the thought…
He glanced out the bus window, lone eye staring at the bustling cityscape behind him, watching as it slowed vanished in the distance. He didn't feel so much as a twinge of regret in the choice he made. He wouldn't miss this city at all, nor the life he had here.
The only thing he'd miss was his dear mother, only family he had left after his bastard of a father left. Once his gramps died, his mother was the only one left in his life. That hole in his heart has only grown over the years, and slaving away for a bloodthirsty company for the rest of his life was not the way he was going to fill that hole…
He sighed, head resting on his hand, the sound producing a soft metallic click, as if metal were scraping against metal.
He just hoped he wouldn't feel that way in Stardew Valley…
"Heya sonny, why the long face?" He heard the bus driver ask from a few seats up. "Cheer up son, you're going to someplace new. You can kiss that old life goodbye." He laughed heartily.
Deidara blinked owlishly at him, before his face smoothed into a handsome smile. Maybe the old man was right. Maybe he should just shove to the back of his mind the thought of his old life in making way for this new one. There was only enough room in his head for one life, and it wasn't going to be that city life.
"Thanks." He smiled, eyes closed in a genuine smile. The man coughed, glancing away.
"You keep that look up sonny, and the whole valley will be all over you." He said, focusing on the road.
The young blond blinked in confusion, head tilted to the side. "E-Excuse me?"
"Oh! Forget I said anything!" The old man laughed. "Say, it's going to be a long trip. Why don't you get some sleep so you can greet those nice people with eyes wide open, eh?" He suggested helpfully.
Deidara hummed, tossing the idea around. It didn't sound like a bad idea at all. He hadn't slept that well the night prior anyhow.
"I'll take you up on that idea." He decided, resting the flowers in his lap. He didn't even glance back at the city, that old life already far out of his mind. He had a huge hole in his heart, and he hoped that maybe he could find a way to fill it at this new place…
The last thing his mother told him to promise her before he left was that he'd finally find someone to fill that hole in his soul. And she had zero shame in specifying that she'd support the idea of more then one person to fill that hole.
He laughed the idea of more then one person at the time, but thinking back to the look on her face at that moment, he realized that she must've been serious about it. He blushed lightly, mulling the idea around in his head.
Naughty mother, she just wanted him to fulfill her dream and make lot of kids…
Oh well, that didn't sound like such a… bad… idea…
That was his last thought before drifting off to sleep…
It was the sound of the bus's squeaky breaks that woke him up. The first thing that met his waking gaze was the beautiful sight of nature. Trees, lakes, fields of flowers, mountains, an ocean.
He was up and alert in a moment, face pressed to the window to properly take in the wondrous sights. Deer and other wild animals dotted the sides of the road, seemingly unafraid of the bus's presence, too interested in watching him through the window.
"Last stop, Stardew Valley." He heard the driver call out. Deidara stood up, bouquet in one hand, and his suitcase being dragged in the other. The light of the open skies shined through the windows, lighting up his dark faux leather jacket and dark blue jeans. His bright blue earrings shined in the afternoon light, really bringing out the color of his lone exposed eye. Oddly enough, be wore white gloves to cover his hands, as if to hide something.
"Alrighty son, it's your stop. Now go out there and get them tiger!" The driver laughed. Deidara offered him a smile before disembarking, only the slightest hitch in his step with every move he made, metal clicking every other step.
And wouldn't you know it, a face that made his heart skip a beat was the first to greet him after stepping off the bus. Dressed in a cute orange puffy shirt and a fur collared overcoat was a beautiful woman. Long orange tinged hair done up in a messy ponytail, beautiful bangs framing her freckled cheeks and that soft smile and cute lips. Her brown eyes were partly closed in a happy smile, one he very eagerly returned.
"Well, hello there! You must be Deidara! My name is Robin." She greeted with a beautiful smile.
"My, I must be blessed. To see such a beautiful face first thing, I feel so lucky." He greeted with a dashing smile.
The woman found herself taken aback by his words, a light dusting of red marking her freckled cheeks. A small gust of wind blew through, parting his long smooth bangs. She was momentarily stunned by how long his hair was, his blond locks passing down his back, reaching the back of his knees.
It was the first time anyone had ever spoken to her in such a way, and it was a pleasant surprise. It may have also helped that he was such a dashing looker too.
"Thank you. It's been so long since anyone's said anything of the sort to me." She said with a slightly bashful smile. "If you want, I wouldn't mind showing you around." She asked. Her cheeks darkened just a tad more when he stepped forward, lifting up a small personalized bouquet of flowers.
"A beautiful woman offering to show me around, I think I'd love that." He admitted truthfully. She found that her heart felt as if it was filled with butterflies, smiling as she took the flowers.
Ah…
They smelled wonderful…
Deidara turned back, offering the bus driver a wave goodbye. The man smiled knowingly, nodding to him before he took off, vanishing into the distance. Watching him go for a moment, he turned his attention to the older woman, smiling as he let her lead the way.
Robin moved on ahead, patiently waiting for him to keep pace with her. Just ahead of the bus stop was a path, leading both left and right. He could see the town to the left, but she led him away from there. It was a short and quiet walk, a comfortable silence hanging in the air.
When she finally stopped walking, they'd come across an old rundown looking house sitting on a clearly unused plot of farmland.
He didn't need to be told to know that it was clearly his grandfathers house. Just standing beside it almost made him tear up.
This…
This was what he needed, not that boring lifeless city life he'd been living.
"I-I know you're from the city, so this might not be the most appealing location around. If we knew that you were coming ahead of time, I might've cleaned the place up a bit." Robin apologized, raising a hand to her cheek. Her eyes widened however, when he gently grasped her supple hand with his own, offering her a genuine smile.
"Don't apologize. This is perfect. I don't think I could've asked for anything else." He said, turning to glance at the house. Sure it was in disarray, but it wasn't anything that couldn't be fixed.
And besides…
"And if I get to wake up to a face like yours every once in a while, I don't think I'm allowed the right to complain." He laughed lightly, pulling his hand away. He turned, hands on his hips as he took in the sight of his farmland. He missed the happy warm cheeked smile she returned to him, his words really doing her over.
"Well, I don't want to be a bother. I'll leave you to get settled in. I live just up the road at the base of the mountain, i-if you want to drop by and say hi." She said.
"You? A bother? I think that's impossible." He said. She flushed at his words, but it made her smile. "If anything, I think I'd be distracted by you that work might just be forgotten." He laughed lightly.
She blushed, looking bashful. "My, I wasn't expecting such a flirt to move into town." She admitted, unconsciously fluttering her eyelashes at him. "Thank you for the flowers, they're very pretty." She said. Holding the bouquet close to her breasts, she made her way back home. Unlike the start to her morning, there was a bit more pep to her step now.
He waved goodbye to her, before moving his belongings inside. The door creaked as it opened, old worn hinges in need of work. Despite that, the inside of the house was really well maintained. To the right was a lone bed, and in the far right corner of the house was a nice looking fireplace. Just ahead of the entrance was a tv stand and a small kitchen table. Beside a small sink and a pantry for food, there was a door to the left that led to a small bathroom.
It was so different compared to anything in the city that he had to take a moment to take it all in. But when it settled in his mind that this was the place he'd be living in from now on, he couldn't contain the face splitting smile that marked his face.
This was definitely what he could call home.
And he had no complaints.
Breathing in a deep lungful of that new/old house smell, he got to work unloading his belongings to the small dresser by the bed. He wanted to clean up a bit, but he was much more interested in exploring town and meeting everyone.
If Robin was anything to go by, he saw the chance of him leaving town for any reason a complete zero.
The door to his place clicked shut behind him, his gaze turned towards the open field that he'd now called his own. He sighed a little.
"It's going to be rough fixing this place up." He said to no one in particular. Glancing up at the clear blue sky, he had a thought come to him. "But I'm full of time. Hmm!"
A short walk later saw his boot covered feet taking his first steps into town. His eyes widened in pleasant surprise. He wasn't sure what he was expecting, but he hadn't really thought this place would be so pleasant looking.
He hadn't any plans, so he decided that what better to do then introduce himself to everyone he could find. First on his list was the general store, a place under the name of Caroline's General Store. He was sure to meet a new face there.
Stepping into the store, a bell jingle announced his presence to anyone inside. A head of green caught his attention immediately.
"Hello! Welcome in!" A beautiful woman greeted from across the way. She had a gentle motherly smile on her soft unblemished face, sparkling green eyes lighting up in surprise when her gaze landed on him. "Oh my, it's been a while since we've had a new face here. My name is Caroline." She said with a gentle smile. She had a large head of beautiful green hair, shining green eyes, and a beautiful smile. He tried not to stare at her rather overly well endowed motherly bosom that sat nicely underneath her striped blue tee shirt.
He returned her smile with one of his own, brushing a few bangs out of his way as he stepped forward. "My name's Deidara, I just moved in down the street." He introduced, eyes sparkling as he leaned in just slightly. "You have a pretty place here, you know? But I'd be lying if I said it was more beautiful then you." He admitted with a smile.
"O-Oh my, you're such a charmer." She admitted with a pleased smile, pale cheeks turning warm at his compliment. "At my age people usually say I look nice at most…" She admitted. He raised an eyebrow in question.
"Then everyone must be blind. You don't look a day over twenty to me." He said seriously. She felt her cheeks warm considerably, the genuineness of his statement clear in his shining blue eyes.
"O-Oh you flirt, you're going to make me blush." She said bashfully, yet refusing to look away. "It's always nice to know people still find me attractive." She said with a genuine smile. To be honest, her heart skipped a beat when he said that.
"You're quite handsome yourself, young man. I'm afraid it won't be long before someone takes off with you if you stick around town." She admitted with a healthy amount of red to her cheeks. It was his turn to flush at the compliment, as he brought a hand up to rub the back of his head nervously at her straightforward words.
"Thank you. Where I come from, people are put off by my looks. It's nice to know people think differently here." He said with a pleased sigh.
"Oh?" She hummed, leaning over the counter to get a better look. "Wow, I've never seen such well kept blond hair before. You have Haley beat for length too, that's surprising." She said with a surprised giggle. "Oh, excuse me. Haley is one of my neighbors down the road. I'm sure she'd love to meet you."
"Mom? Have you seen my phone? I thought I…" A second voice spoke up from behind nearby door. The moment the source of the voice saw him with the green haired beauty, she seemed to trail off. It was obvious the older woman was flirting, if her leaning heavily on the counter top, large bosom pressed into the wood as if to draw his attention was anything to go off of.
"Who's this?" She asked. Caroline smiled at the girl, turning to Deidara.
"This is Deidara, he just moved in down the road." She said. "And Deidara, this is my daughter, Abigail."
"Hiya." He waved, smiling at her. She wasn't as tall as her mother, but she was still cute. Unlike her mother, she had long purple hair and dark blue eyes. She was dressed in a jet black fitting low cut tank top with a high collared blue jacket on over it. Around her neck was a black choker of obvious gothic design.
"O-Oh, hello. I'm Abigail." She greeted in response, a bit thrown off by his looks. There wasn't many boys in town, so when one as hot as he showed up, it left her breathless.
It also helped that he was seemingly super nice.
"So, is there anything I can do for you? Anything you want to buy?" Caroline asked, smiling up at him. He brought a hand to his chin in thought, glancing around the store for a moment, before turning back to her.
"I was feeling a little hungry. I haven't eaten since I left the city." He said, before leaning closer. "Although, if I had to ask for the hottest thing on the menu, I think I'm looking at her." He said seriously, holding her gaze unflinching. She swallowed, a new sensation filled shiver shooting down her spine. He held her gaze silently for a long moment, before his poker face broke and a laugh escaped.
"I-I'm sorry. That line is so corny." He laughed, rubbing the back of his head. "I'm just playing with you." He admitted. "I wasn't aloud to be myself back there, I just feel so free here." Maybe it was sharing too much too soon, but he'd just gotten so caught up in the moment he couldn't help himself.
She sighed, finally able to breath again. Although, there was a part of her that was disappointed that he was only kidding in the end. "O-Oh you flirt. You're gonna make me act up at this rate." She said with a blush, a teasing smirk on her face.
He laughed. Not some fake sound he'd have to struggle for back at his old place, but a genuine one. He felt alive here.
"But if you're serious, then I do have something for you. I make sandwiches every morning, and I have some leftover." Caroline said, motioning to a small stand to her right. Deidara saw the price listed and quickly pulled the proper amount of coin out. "Thank you." She said.
He offered the two girls a wave before taking his leave.
"Oh, leaving so soon?" Caroline asked.
"Stop flirting with the customer mom!" Abigail snarked, face red.
"Oh, but he started it dear…" The mother whined.
Ignoring the little spat, Deidara threw them a grin. "I'm going to try and introduce myself to everyone." He said. "But I wouldn't mind stopping by here every once in a while to see that pretty face of yours." He admitted with a dashing grin, winking at the beautiful mother.
Caroline sighed as he left, the store feeling just that much emptier…
"You're helpless mom…" Abigail sighed, rubbing her forehead. The green haired woman raised an eyebrow.
"Oh? Are you sure it's not the fact that he was more interested in me then you, dear?" Caroline teased, getting a red faced hiss from her daughter.
"Whatever!" The blueish purple haired girl snapped, rushing back to her room. Caroline smiled.
Hit the nail right on the head…
It was roughly 1:00 pm now. After leaving Caroline's store, he found himself wandering around the town plaza in search for other people. Maybe it was just bad timing, but it seemed impossible to find anyone. Perhaps he'd shone up at a bad time and everyone else in town was busy?
If that was the case, he wasn't going to be too bent out of shape over it. He still planned on meeting everyone, but he wasn't going to cry if that got delayed by a day or two.
Taking a bite out of Caroline's sandwich-
"O-Oh wow…" He sighed. Her food was phenomenal. He'd marry a girl that could make a killer sandwich…
-he decided to go try and find Robin again. Perhaps she'd know where everyone went. He knew that she told him that she lived up north of the town, so he made his way at a leisurely pace towards the base of the mountain. Just past Caroline's general store he saw an old run down building. He couldn't be quite sure, but from the look of it, it must've been a community center at some point…
But from the damage done to it, that must've been long ago…
He glanced up the path, seeing what must've been Robin's home at the base of the mountain. To the right of her house and taking up a large space was a small lake, the water seeming to come from an underwater tunnel somewhere under the mountain.
And that's when he noticed the huge landslide surrounded by the rest of the town's people. Shoving aside his wish to take in the sights, he kicked off the ground in a sprint heading full speed towards the accident.
Someone could be seriously injured. He had to make sure everyone was safe, at the very least.
A quick minute later saw him running up to the scene, slowing as he approached Robin who he spotted near the back of the crowd. There was yelling and shouting, all of which was focused onto a singular man dressed in dark businesslike clothing.
"Robin, hey, what's going on?" Not even remotely winded from the run, he slid up next to the beautiful older woman. She looked up surprise, eyes widening at the presence of the taller blond. He paused when he saw the tears in her eyes and the utterly distraught look on her face.
"O-Oh Deidara, it's terrible! We tired to stop them, but they-!" She tried, biting her lip as she attempted to hold back tears. "B-But they didn't listen, a-a-and now-! H-He's-!" She couldn't contain herself, tears pouring down her face as she grabbed onto him. He pulled her into a confused hug as she collapsed onto him, bawling her eyes out as she cried openly.
He had no idea what happened, and to get the beautiful smiling woman to this state so soon after first meeting him…
It must've been bad…
"What happened? Is everyone okay?" He asked gently, holding her carefully in his strong arms. He looked up, taking stock of the situation. There seemed to have been a large cave in, or a rockslide of some sort, he couldn't tell right away. There was a couple guys frantically trying to move huge boulders far too large for their weight, but to no avail.
"I-It's! M-My son! The cave collapsed, a-a-and now he's- h-he's trapped underneath those rocks." She cried, tears pouring down her face. "T-They can't get the rocks off of him! H-He's trapped underneath them!"
His head snapped up at her words, scanning the surroundings again. He saw the culprit in question, an older grimy looking bastard with a coat that screamed, 'I'm only in it for the money', with the logo of the Joja corporation on his vest.
He had the sudden urge to beat the tar out of the man for daring to make a nice woman such as Robin cry, but even more so for potentially killing her son.
But that wasn't what he was focusing on, not just yet.
That could wait until later…
"Dang! I-I can't move them! It's too heavy!" A spiky haired blond guy shouted, seemingly giving his all to try and lift the boulders.
"Hang in there Sebastian ! We're gonna help you!" A scruffy dark haired man shouted, doing his part in trying to save the teen underneath the rubble. "Damnit, just hold on!"
He didn't need a genius to know that there was no way they were getting him out in time without power tools, and more then that, he hadn't seen anything of the sort in town.
There was nothing they could do…
But…
Deidara's eyes sharpened, a determined glint filling his gaze. Robin continued to cry into his chest, but slowed slightly when he went to stand, helping her to her feet. He glanced down to her, locking eyes with her.
"I didn't think I'd ever have to use this, but I see no other choice. Robin? Can you please take care of me?" Deidara asked with a smile.
She blinked in confusion. But before she could ask, he let her go, rushing over to the guys trying to help. "You two, stand back!" He ordered loudly.
"W-What? Who the hell ar-?"
"I don't have time to explain. Do you want Sebastian to die, or do you want him to live?" Deidara asked seriously, a dangerous look in his eyes. The scruffy looking man seemed taken aback by this newcomers seriousness. "Good. Now get ready, I'm going to lift the rocks."
"Y-You're going to what?!" The spiky blond shouted.
Ignoring him and the crowd that had turned their attention from the bastard responsible and instead to him, he enclosed his eyes. He took a deep breath, reaching far inside of himself. He took hold of that power sleeping within, and pulled it to the surface. He clapped his hands together in front of him, almost as if he were praying. Slowly he did multiple strange and different hand signs, before opening his eyes and slamming both hands down onto the ground, whispering the words, "Earth release!"
"Get ready!" The long haired blond shouted. "If there was ever anything to thank you for dad, it's this..." He muttered to himself underneath his breath.
Nothing happened for a moment, but not a few seconds later the ground started to shake. The giant pile of rubble slowly, before the eyes of everyone watching, began to rise into the air. Every rock rose simultaneously, preventing any from falling and crushing the man trapped underneath. Blood began pouring out of his nose, his vision becoming blurry.
But he didn't stop. The people watched on in awe, blown away by what they were seeing. It was almost like magic.
It was magic.
The second the rocks were high enough, the two guys rushed in to pull Sebastian out. The moment they were all clear, Deidara threw the whole pile of rocks into the lake only a few feet away.
Cheers broke out into the air, Robin crying loudly as she hugged the life out of her son. The town's people surrounded the crying woman, making sure she and her son were going to be okay. For being trapped underneath that rubble, Sebastian didn't look like he would suffer any life long wounds. It seemed like he'd only been pinned in place, not crushed underneath.
Lucky break...
"My god… I can't believe it…" The spiky blond sighed, nearly falling over from exhaustion. The other guys thought along the same lines. "He's safe, thank god…
Once the people were sure that he was fine, their attention turned back to the mysterious blond in question, the man that magically seemed to whip out some strange power to save Robin's son.
Deidara stood off to the side, smiling as he watched the distraught mother try to be calmed by the boy she'd been crying over. He sighed, happy that he was able to help.
He hadn't expected his first day to be so eventful.
He wiped his nose, blinking in surprise when he pulled his hand back. It was covered in red.
"Oh…" He muttered, blood too leaking from his lips. He took two steps towards the people before his knees hit the ground, the man falling to his side.
"Woah! Hey! He needs help over here!" Someone shouted.
"D-Deidara?!" Robin exclaimed. She ran to his side, leaving her son with a man in a lab coat, likely the town doctor. "Deidara! W-What's wrong? What did-… what did you do?"
"I've never seen that before… W-Was that magic?" The spiky blond muttered, the thought shared by all around.
Ignoring them all, Deidara smiled a bloody smile up at the crying woman. "H-Hiya Robin… Is your son... alright…?" He asked with tired ragged breaths.
Ohh…
He definitely overdid it…
His eyes widened as a bunch of pretty faces all surrounded him. Even now he couldn't help but point that out. "W-Wow… Is everyone in this t-town as beautiful as you, Robin?" He asked with a rough sounding cough, but even then, it couldn't ruin the genuineness of his comment. "I could imagine staying… here for… the rest of my life…" He muttered, eyes drifting closed. The last thing he saw before sleep took his was her smiling tear stained cheeks.
