Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Metroid and Star Wars. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Metroid; Nintendo, LucasArts, Disney, and a few others do.

What was it like to have been a Mandalorian? It was a very odd life, one free of burdens… But also, one constantly in the service of one beyond yourself… Of your creed, of your people, of things greater than the person you were. It was clear they'd not at all allow such a thing, far beyond what they were.

The Mandalorian placed his helmet on the dashboard of his ship, a custom he heard that was taboo. It was not as if he had meant dishonor to his people or his clan. His markings of said clan adorned his armor, he had no desire to do any wrong with such a thing. It had been a problem such as when he had fallen beyond his ideals.

He looked around his ship which had been with him for many years. A Kom'rk class fighter which he had modified to serve a single pilot. He owned a Fang Fighter as the galaxy had called them, but he did not see the idea in using it for anything other than personal work, and as such, it was kept on his clan's lands until he required it for further missions, it was entirely something beyond what he had been allowed.

It was also clear this mission was far beyond what he had been allowed to know. His people were vague and his clan mysterious, but he hunted for them as that was what the way was. He had been a warrior and as such? Well, he had known better than anything how well this would have worked out.

He set his weapons on the console and looked around with interest. He hadn't at all know what they had asked, but he'd carry it down before he questioned what to have done for the time being.

He clicked his tongue before pondering what needed his skills. What they'd need was a lone warrior and hunter who had carried out his work without being asked for the time being while he tilted his focus upon such issues.

It had been something of an odd little juncture, of an odd move for him. He did the work required of him and his kind. It had been something that he needed to have understood for the time being.

It was clear both he and his clan had business in the galaxy and he'd not allow it to get done anytime soon. It was entirely clear they had more problems to be pressing them more and more when it came to it.

The Mandalorian was quiet, placing his helmet on his head and looking around before putting the coordinates into the computer. It was clear something had to give and it was clear he either got something else on his mind.

He rubbed at his temples and sighed, too prepared for the mission. He had brought all the weapons he could have possibly carried on his armor and even more on his ship.

He'd have laughed as he knew no number of weapons were enough for a Mandalorian, combat was part of whom they were and all the duchess did was try and push them away from what they were. Battle was their blood, combat was their culture, they were not savages, not barbarians and they had more to their lives than war…. However? It seemed all the duchess had cared for was the fact they were at one-point warriors.

It made the Mandalorian snort under his armor as the ship jumped to lightspeed.

"It's not my place to judge anyway. That was another time." He stated as he leaned backward in his seat.

He closed his eyes and prepared for whatever the ancestors had placed in their way. It was clear that he had known for a longer and longer time.

It was going to be a few hours to a day until he landed and he was able to relax and get it all off his mind at the end of the day.

He had time to prepare and time to get this over with, time to get to work training his mind for whatever exercise that may or may not come next.

Author Notes

Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that story is going to point out that the next chapter will be delayed. The Mandalorian and Boba are going to be in the story. The next chapter will be in 2-10 months before now and will show more and more about the cast and such. Until the 900–6500-word chapters and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf is out!
