The next day Kiara and Kion woke up earlier to prepare for the announcement. Simba, Nala and Kovu woke up and they noticed that Kiara wanted to tell them something.

Simba: "It seems that you want to tell us something Kiara."

Kiara: "Yes. I do." Kiara looked at her brother and he nodded as sign for confidence. Kiara took a deep breath and said: "Dad, mom, Kovu. What I want to tell you is that…. I'm pregnant."

Simba fainted, Nala felt quite surprised and Kovu felt confused but then he processed what Kiara said and he hugged her and said with excitement: "OMG Kiara. We're going to be parents. This is the best day of my life."

Simba woke up and asked: "Kiara, are you sure?"

Kiara: "Yes. I'm."

Kion: "If you have anything against it, I'm on Kiara's side and so as Kovu."

Simba: "Kion. I have nothing against it. However your sister will need lessons about how to be a mother."

Kiara: "I will take them." She looked around and asked: "Where's Vitani?"

Nala: "She and her Lion Guard took their patrol early."

Kiara: "Kovu. When she comes back will you tell her the news? I want Kion to meet Rafiki's new apprentice."

Kovu: "OK. Have fun."

Kiara giggled and said: "We will." And before she left, she licked Kovu's cheek.

Kion: "Are you going to tell the others?"

Kiara: "Actually I already told Tiifu, Zuri, Jasiri and Badili before you came. Zazu found out but he promised not to tell my parents. It's obvious that Rafiki knows as well as Fumbo."

Kion: "Who's Fumbo?"

Kiara: "Rafiki's new apprentice. He met him a week ago."

Kion: "Cool. So, what are you going to name the cub?"

Kiara: "You mean cubs. I'm having twins."

Kion asked with surprise and confusion in his voice: "How do you know that?"

Kiara: "Fumbo can sense the life energy of every living creature and that's how he found out how many cubs I'm going to have."

Kion: "That is so cool."

While they were walking, Kion heard something moving in the grass near him ready to pounce. However Kion dodged it and he was surprised as well as Kiara to find out that it was Tiifu.

Kion: "Hi Tiifu."

Tiifu: "Hi Kion. It's good to see you."

Kion: "Same here. That was a good pounce. You almost caught me."

Kiara: "That was nothing. You should've seen her hunting gazelles."

Tiifu: "I caught one for 3 minutes."

Kion: "Really?"

Kiara: "Yeah. I was there too. It was the best hunt I have ever seen."

Tiifu: "Actually, I tested my speed with Kasi and it turns out that she isn't the only fastest lion in The Pridelands."

Kion: "Cool. I guess you can be her replacement and do her duties when she's sick, injured or dead."

Tiifu: "That's a great idea." She turned to Kiara and asked: "So, where are you going?"

Kiara: "I'm taking Kion to meet Fumbo."

Tiifu: "Cool."

As Kion, Kiara amd Tiifu continued to talk Zuri came to them and said: "Good morning."

Kiara, Tiifu and Kion: "Good morning Zuri."

Zuri: "It's good to see you Kion."

Kion: "Same here Zuri."

Zuri: "Where are your friends?"

Kion: "At The Tree of Life helping Rani. What about you? Did you found your mate?"

Zuri: "No. But I found a kingdom with an army of male lions lead by lioness."

Kion: "Yeah. They told me that half of them used to live in The Pride Lands when Mufasa was alive but they left after Scar killed his Lion Guard and they started to live in this kingdom to become better lions."

Kion: "Cool. Do you want to come with us? Kiara is taking me to meet Fumbo."

Zuri: "Sure." She turned to Tiifu and asked: "Do you want to come with us Tiifu?"

Tiifu: "Yes. Let's go."

When they reached Rafiki's tree, they saw that Rafiki was outside and he was expecting them.

Rafiki: "It is good to see you again King Kion."

Kion: "Same here Rafiki."

Fumbo came out of the tree and said: "It's an honor to meet you, your majesty."

Rafiki: "Fumbo is learning fast. He will become a great Royal Mjuzi."

Kion: "Cool." Kion asked Fumbo: "Hey Fumbo, I heard that you can sense the life energy of every living creature. Can you do other amazing stuff?"

Fumbo: "Yes. But it's best if I show you tonight."

Kion: "OK? Can you tell us more about youself?"

Fumbo: "I will tell you tonight."

Rafiki: "Trust him. He will surprise you. He can do tricks even I can't."

Kion: "OK." Kion asked the girls: "What should we do now?"

Kiara: "I know. How about we hunt? I haven't been hunting since my first hunt failed."

Kion already knew about Kiara's first hunt because she told him about it. However Kiara wasn't feeling upset that Kion missed it, she was actually relieved that he didn't saw how terrible it was.

Kion realized something and said: "You know, since I'm not The Leader of The Lion Guard anymore, I think I can have my first hunt here."

Kiara: "You're right. You never hunted in The Pridelands. You probably had your first hunt at The Tree of Life, but now you can have your first hunt in The Pridelands."

Kion: "Yeah."

Everyone knew that The Lion Guard isn't allowed to hunt, but Kion was no longer Leader of The Lion Guard. He was King of The Tree of Life. Kion, Kiara, Tiifu, Zuri were looking for gazelles, soon they found four of them, one for each of them. The lions sneaked upon them and they caught the gazelles successfully. They took them to Pride Rock for lunch, Simba and his pride was surprised about their hunt and Nala was proud of Kion for his first hunt in The Pridelands, later Vitani congratulated Kiara for her pregnancy.

During night Kion, Kiara, Tiifu and Zuri came to Rafiki's tree to listen about Fumbo's backstory. Fumbo had the power to communicate with bugs, so he called fireflies to help him light the tree. Fumbo used his shadow to show the other how everything looked then and his shadow was shaping perfectly the characters and the locations.

Fumbo: "Decade ago when I was 10 years old, I used to live happily with my parents in a place called The Big Wood. We were having such a good time until an insane jackal named Wazimu killed my parents."

Kion: "Wazimu?"

Fumbo: "Yes. He was born in The Big Wood like me. You see, when he was a child, he lost his parents and no one raised him which caused his insanity. His goal to take away the parents of every child and I was his first victim."

Kion: "I'm sorry about it Fumbo."

Fumbo: "It's OK. After I lost my parents I was able to escape Wazimu, but I thought that it would be better to find a new home, where it doesn't have insane individuals. I walked for years, one day I walked through a giant blizzard, I was about to die and I was ready for it until The Lions of The Past saved me, they blessed me with these amazing powers and they told me to go into The Pridelands because it's my destiny. When I reached The Pridelands, the first person that I met was Rafiki, The Lions of The Past told him that I was coming and he told me that he needed a new apprentice, he impressed me with his stories and I impressed him with my skills. However when I saw Wazimu in The Pridelands attacking a cheetah family, I got scared but I was able to face my fear and I saved the family from Wazimu."

Kion: "That was a great story." Kion looked at the moon and said with yawn: "It's getting late. We should be going girl."

Kiara: "I agree. Let's go."

Kion, Kiara, Tiifu and Zuri said goodbye to Fumbo and Rafiki but when they were on half of the way to Pride Rock, Ono came to them.

Ono: "Hello everyone, it's good to see you again."

Kiara: "Hi Ono."

Kion: "What are you doing here?"

Ono: "Rani sent me to check up on you. So, how are things going so far?"

Kion explained everything about yesterday and today. Ono gasped: "Hapana. This is amazing. Congratulations Princess."

Kion got an idea and said: "Hey Ono, will you tell Rani to come here this Sunday? I would love to watch the coronation with her."

Ono: "It will be my pleasure. Bye girls, have sweet dreams."

Kion, Kiara, Tiifu and Zuri: "Bye Ono."

After Ono flew away, Kion and the girls got back at Pride Rock and they had good dreams.
