CH 6

I walk out with Neji holding his hand gently as he smiles at me glad as it was a nice day out in the Leaf village. We walk around down the streets stopping at a few of the shops as I was browsing at the different stuff that was being sold.

Neji watches what caught my eye or what I was looking at with interest too for ideas for gifts for me later on as we keeps walking around as soon we decided to stop at a small tea shop having some tea and dangos too as we sits in the shadow of a cherry blossom tree.

"Aaahhh this is so much nice,…I can never get tired of just relaxing under a tree drinking tea and having sweets."I lean back looking up smiling contently as some petals float in the area floating around us as seen my hair was the same pink shade as the petals it was hard to tell if any were on my hair.

Neji smiles sipping his tea as he noded agree that this was very peaceful as I glanced at Neji as he was sipping tea and noticed a petal in his hair as I reach over and plucked it from his hair as he glances at me.

I smile holding the petal up in my hands." At least we can see them in your hair Neji, and you are very cute." This causes him to blush a bit as I chuckle finding him even cuter when he gets embarrassed like this.

" I really like teasing him, and Gaara too…their reactions are so funny and cute.." we enjoy our relaxing time here as I keep embarrassing Neji a bit having fun with it as we soon finish up and heads off again as we went to walk around the parks for a bit more as it soon got later.

Now we head to Neji family household as I was starting to get nervous about being here to meet your family as I only ever got to know Hinata and no one else from your family as Neji squeezes my hand a bit.

Neji" it will be alright Suki, please try not to worry too much ok?" he looks at me trying to reassure that everything will be fine as I takes a deep breath trying to calm down but was still very nervous as he opens the door as we go inside taking our shoes off as Neji leads the way.

While we walk around we see Hinata who smiles at us. Hinata" Suki, big brother Neji hello there.." I smile back at her as her and Neji relationship is a lot better as they see each other as siblings as Neji calls her as just Hinata not calling her Lady Hinata.

"nice to see you Hinata, ill be joining you for dinner hope that's ok" Hinata smiles more hearing this very happy.

Hinata"oh that's wonderful to hear, I know everyone will love you Suki" she bows as she heads off to go get ready for dinner as Neji nods thanking her as he leads me to the main hall where the head of the family, Hinata father as Neji knocked on the door.

Neji" Hello Leader may I come in please, their someone I wish to introduce you to." I listen as I know who he is referring to his Hinata father and current leader to the Hyuga clan, Hiashi.

We hear a low come in as Neji opens up the sliding doors as inside was Hiashi kneeing down with a table in front of him as he turns his head looking our direction as both I and Neji walks in as e closes the door behind us and we both bows.

Hiashi doesn't say anything and just waves for us to come closer as Neji leads me to sit at one side of the table as Neji sits across from me.

Neji"Leader, let me introduce Suki Haruno." I smile at Hiashi." Very nice to meet you, Sir." Still, I get no response but just a nods as he looks to Neji. Hiashi" Neji, will this guest me join us for dinner?"

Neji"yes she is…I do hope it is fine Leader…" Hiashi nods as he slowly gets up from his spot and makes his way for the door. Hiashi" very well, I shall see you both later…I trust you can behave till then."

After that, he walks out shutting the door behind leaving us alone. I wait till a few moments sure he had gone as I looks at Neji"….lovely uncle you got Neji…" I say with sarcasm as I cross my arms on the table.

Neji" best not to get on his bad side Suki, he is still the leader of the clan…" I nod at him. " yes yes…but hey it is me Neji…would I get on someone important bad side?" I smile at him as he just sighs knowing me I could get in trouble very easily.

Now we both were dreading the dinner for different reasons as for the time being we sit out in the courtyard. I did suggest going to Neji room but he quickly shut that idea down as it wouldn't look good if his family saw us in his room.

I just use this to tease him more which causes him to blush a bit as we chat more till one of the other family members comes to inform us dinner was ready as me and Neji followed and arrives in a large room as were seated next to each other as Hinata and her younger sister, Hanabi across from us and their father at the head of the table and a few other family members as the food gets served.

I just glance around as I think a bit too myself."…..if I was Wally is those where's Wally? Fun books…It will be very easy to spot….I feel so out of place…damn my lovely pink hair makes me so different." The dinner was quiet apart from the adults talking about politics or some other very important topics.

Even with these kinds of talks, I do make conversation with Hinata and Neji and even bring Hanabi into conversations. Seen I have been here before as Hinata friend I was used to the adults having their talk so I get Hinata talking I speak with her about anything.

Thought before the adults were annoyed by this but I was able to correct them that if they could talk so could we. Naturally, this put me in the bad books on me talking back to the adults as Hiashi wasn't happy either but he couldn't stop me from coming over.

But now after so long he and the other adults just got used to how stubborn and bold I could act and just let it be seen even if they tried I still come here regardless.

Neji knows this about me but wished for some peace as he hopes his family would accept me as possible in the future joining the family.

Neji controls his thoughts as best he could as thankful dinner goes smoothly without any chaos happening. After a while, it was time for me to go as Neji plans to walk me home as we say a final goodbye to Hiashi.

I just smile and bow at him looking forward to next time. As normal he says nothing and wishes me a good night as I and Neji walk off now." Well…that went well, huh Neji?"

Neji sighs looking at me. Neji" thankfully it did, but Suki I swear you were close to angered the leader a few times…" I chuckle a bit knowing it's true. "oh come on as long as I'm not left alone with him, there won't be a fighting match...I promise not to poke the bear too much…"

I laughs more as I have got Hiashi mad before on how he treats Hinata and I even went on the subject of the seal on Neji. Neji"…Suki I admire your caring side for me and lady Hinata, but please you only start more trouble.."

I just shrug my shoulders." Mhmm…Nah I'll keep doing what I do, it hasn't gotten me killed yet…" I keep smiling as Neji just sighs at this knowing its no point in arguing with me seen I can be so stubborn.

We once reach my house as Neji stops at the door as it was late out." Thanks for walking me home Neji" smiles at him as he nods smiling back. Neji" of course Suki, above anything I was glad to have you over as my girlfriend instead of Lady Hinata friend.."

He gently holds my hand and leans down to me as he kisses me gently. I blush at this but kiss him back smiling a bit. The kiss lasts for a moment as we both pull away with blushes on our faces.

" good night Neji, I love you." I blush more saying this. Neji" night Suki, I love you too." We also hug as we let go of each other as Neji turns and walks on home as I watch him go and once he's out of sight I quietly go inside.

Thankfully my parents were asleep so I wasn't questioned on how things went as I will be too embarrassed to answer them as I get to my room and gets ready for bed." …what I nice dinner, could have gone a lot worse….but I should refocus on what's going to happen next….I'll takedown Hidan and save Asuma sensei...I can do this!"

Alright then wasn't that such a nice dinner at the Hyuga household ^^, got to have some cute romance stuff happening, but now things changing and it's getting serious, how will things plan out? can Suki change things? can she use Willow powers to defeat the Akatsuki, till next time I gtg bye bye ^^
