"I was wondering if you'd wanna go out with me?" Spoke Izuku as he stared intently at Shoto.

Shoto blinked "The delivery was good but you're that nervous your stiff as a rock."

Izuku sighed "yeah I know I know."

Shoto adjusted the belt on his hero costume as he got ready for his next shift "Just be yourself and I have no doubt Uraraka will say yes."

Izuku looked at his friend for a moment thinking over his words. They'd both just graduated UA a few months ago and were both working under Endeavour even though since the great hero villian war they were both highly ranked in popular in the hero charts already in the top ten.

It's only in the last year civilisation has finally returned to normal in Japan. Although Izuku and the students of UA returned peace. Villainy and crime still remained. People became desperate in these harsh times and others grew a bigger hatred for the government so heroes remained needed.

Izuku had just finally managed to become settled as a pro hero and was finally building up the courage to confess to his crush Ochako. Hence why he was sitting in the Endeavour Agency locker room rehearsing lines to Shoto.

"This gonna be cringy and painful" he groaned to himself.

"The longer you delay the harder it'll be. Besides you need to get going if you're catching up with her and the others." Retorted Shoto as he closed his locker.

The remaining students of the original Class 1A were meanting up for a quick reunion although half of them couldn't arrive due to work like Shoto. The only reason Izuku was making an effort was purely due to the fact Shoto was making him and it was his official day off.

With an eye roll Izuku pulled on a plain green shirt and locked up his hero uniform in his locker. "I'll text you later then."

"Don't chicken out!"

Izuku walked casually through the crowd towards a local cafe that was selected for the meet up. As he got closer he could see Kirishima and Iida standing out the front speaking to one another until the red head spotted him.

"Hey! Midoriya." He was quick to shake the green heads hand in greeting and Iida followed suit. "I'm glad to see you you could make it Midoriya."

"Likewise to you two aswell. How you been?" Smiled Izuku as he shook both classmates hands.

"Well apart from duty's as hero I've also been working in the department of roads and safety to upgrade the road laws for quirk users." Replied Iida

Kirishima followed up with "Yeah when I'm not doing heroing I've been working as a personal trainer at the local gym near the agency I work at aswell."

Since the War it was decided that to regain trust of the public that hero's shouldn't be relied on to do hero work if they only get paid. To some this was an idea to element any attempts of corruption with in the hero industry.

The government would only allow to pay hero agency's for the basics such as electricity, office staff pay, transport, support gear and repairs. Apart from that no hero no matter the ranking can be paid for hero work through the government. It was purely volunteer work now. As long as you were a licensed hero of course.

So naturally majority of those who wished to remain pro hero's took up second jobs to get an income to live. However there were a rare few who built up enough money in the agency to continue doing hero work full time. Izuku and Shoto were among those few as the endeavour agency was basically running off the Todoroki fortune to keep there heros employed.

Izuku felt guilty for not taking on a second job like most of his class mates but he wasn't dumb enough to assume the Todoroki fortune would keep him employed forever and was already looking at options to continue with a second career within the police department. At least that's what he hoped.

"You boys coming in? Most of us are inside" called out Jirou from the cafes doors grabbing the three's attention. Without another word said that began walking in.

After the awkwardness of moving past seated tables they made it to the back area where the large tables were set for the class reunion. And it was then Izuku saw her. Ochako Uraraka.

She wasn't in her civilian clothes her hero costume but instead she was wearing jeans with a red flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up exposing her arms. After the destruction caused from the war, the Urarakas had somehow managed to get a government contract to help with reconstruction of some city areas.

It had been many years since the Urarakas had a string of good luck in their family business so they were grateful for the opportunity and it helped not only them get back on there but a lot of the community. Ochako decide to hang on to her hero license but also jumped at the opportunity to work for her parents and help pay them back like she always wanted to.

Even though this wasn't what she had in mind but it'll do.

Izuku gulped as he gazed at her remembering what he wanted to ask. Remembering what a coward he was not confessing to her. Before this day was done he would confess how he felt... but not right now... a lot of people around. Especially a certain pink skinned and pink haired individual whose soul existence is the subjects of drama and romance.

"You gonna ask him?" Asked Tsuyu as she noticed Ochako watching Izuku step into the room with Kirishima and Iida.

Ochako blushed slightly turning to her frog like friend and answer "I will. I will. Just need a chance to talk to him in private. I'm not asking infront of everyone that's just adding to much pressure."

The brunette had become aware of her feels for Midoriya during her first year at U.A highschool. But had decided to ignore those feelings for the sake of their hero training. It had been a painful heart ache of an experience for so long. But the heart wanted what the heart wants.

And so she had confessed to Tsuyu that she was finally ready to come out to Izuku Midoriya about how she felt. And Tsuyu's response was to give her full support. And by that she means not letting her friend chicken out.

But Tsuyu agreed that admitting to Midoriya infront of there friends now wouldn't be wise so was content to let things play out and only encourage the two to talk when the opportunity was right.

The old 1A class slowly began going there separate ways after all enjoying a meal from the cafe. Some lingered to continue talking and exchange plans for future meet ups.

Izuku watched as Ochako pulled on her cap that she wore for work as she began preparing to get ready to head off to a nearby construction site her parents company had a contract. With her temporarily alone the young holder of One For All took a deep breath and stepped forward.

"Uraraka. Can I have a word?"

Ochako looked up at the hearing of his voice "Deku? Sure you can. I was actually about to come look for you myself."

The green haired boy smiled "uh well you find me. There was actually something I wanted to ask you."

The zero gravity user crossed her arms smirking in amusement "that's funny because I was going to ask you something but you go ahead with your thing."

This is it

"Okay. Ochako... I was. Uhhh wondering if..."

BOOM!

The street shook beneath there feet making them stumble and catch each other from falling over as screams came from growing smoke down the street from where they stood.

The pair shared a look and quickly began making a move towards it switching to hero mode despite the fact neither of them were in uniform. And sure enough the remaining members of 1A followed after them.

A man wearing a green and purple gas mask with blue hair and wearing jeans and a leather vest of the same colours stood infront of the burning truck as the driver ran away with the other screaming civilians.

He casually walked up to the back of it and created a sphere of blue and purple energy from his hand and threw it at the doors lock completely destroyed it.

He chuckled as the doors creaked open and revealed creates of support items marked with the names of different hero agencies that decide to get out of heroing.

"Looks like a hit the Jack pot." He glanced past the creates and saw what looked to be locked cages with extremely high tech items and power sources "But there's the real prize."

He was so consumed with staring at the trucks contents he failed to notice a child hiding by a dumpsters hugging their teddy bear tightly. He did however notice that a group of off duty heros start to surround him. And as he turned he immediately recognised one of them.

"Well well. If it isn't the young symbol of peace. And what do I owe this pleasure to meet you Deku?"

Izuku eyed the man off as One For All coursed through him. "I assume you're the one responsible for causing this accident?"

The man nodded with his hands on his hips "correct. Just look at all this stuff. It seems like such a waste to let the government take away and destroy these well crafted goods. I know some folks that would pay good coin for some of this stuff."

"Well that's not up to you to decide that. I'm afraid we're going to have to place you under arrest until the police arrive to take you into custody." Said Iida as he adjusted his glasses.

The man narrowed his eyes at the five hero's who came on the offensive while the others worked on evac. Deku, Ingenium, Red Riot, Uravity and Froppy. He can handle them.

"And what makes you think can STOP ME!!!" He shouted as he fired as sphere from his hand towards Iida.

Iida reacted in time just merely dodging both the impact and explosion. Masked man then fired a series of explosive spheres towards the other heros making them all duck and dive in all directions.

Izuku and Ochako took to the skies and in doing so Kirishima activated his quirk and was relieved to know that his quirk could handle this guys attacks.

He grinned at Izuku and called out "sling shot!"

Izuku nodded and activated the quirk known as black whip and shot it out wrapping it around the Harden user and began to twirl him around while the masked man was busy firing shots at Iida speeding around Tsuyu crawling around and leaping on the building walls.

Once Izuku built enough speed he released Kirishima and launched him straight into the villian knocking him hard enough that he smashed into the truck while Kirishima broke through the truck and landed into a nearby building.

A scream grabbed Ochakos attention and she looked down to see the scared hidden child. Wasting no time she deactivated her quirk on herself landing on the ground and sprinted towards the child picking them up to runaway to safety.

"Grrrr." Growled the villain as sparks and arcs explode from the support items in the truck while the unknown power sources began to leak and flutter in the exposed air. The villian eyed off Ochako and the child and created a sphere in each hand and threw both at her.

Izuku's eyes widened as he used the float quirk to dive down toward her "OCHAKO!!". Ochakos own eyes widened at the approaching spheres knowing she had little time to dodge both of them.

In act of desperation Izuku used black whip to grab both the spheres and whip them back into the truck.

The Villians eyes widen when he saw his own quirk come back at him. "Fuck."

The spheres while still connected to black whip shot past him and made contact to the power sources. In a raging blinding light the truck disappeared and the shock wave sent the heroes flying back into the building.

Izuku however got pulled in towards it with black whip and shouted in pain as lighting arc in a colour of a rainbow traveled up black whip and wrapped itself around him and ripped apart his clothing until suddenly.

All that remained was a crater.

The ringing in Ochakos ears caused her to shake her head in confusion. She looked down to see that she was successful in protecting the child from the explosion. But soon panic over came her and she gently put the child down and ran towards the crater. "Deku?"

She stood in the crater and looked around desperately "Deku where are you?"

The others walked to the craters edge covered in there own injuries and dust as they looked for there friend. Until they saw the shreds of his burnt green shirt gently fall from the sky and land at Ochakos feet.

Tears swelled up in her eyes as she stared at them. "No... no no no no no...DEKU!!!!!!!"

A man stood infront of the press with blonde hair combed back as he stared straight into the cameras.

"Humanity is no stranger to dark times. And we not long ago over came one. But today we return a dark day indeed. It is with a heavy heart that tell you our citizens that today we lost one of the great heros at a young age before his time was due.

Izuku Midoriya better known as Deku died doing what he is known for. Being a hero.

He saved us from darkness in his youth already and yet we must return to it alone without him. Well then I say this!

Now is a time for change. We must strive to not only break out of the darkness but remain in the light. We must aim for a world where Heros and Villians can't exist!

Deku would want us all to be safe! And for us to be safe we must remove what threatens us. With the help of you the citizen I can promise peace for all time. If we can remove quirks from society forever.

I am well aware you have lost faith in your government. But I promise you'll regain faith in us again. Once we can remove the posion of quirk's from our streets then we can rip down the corruption of the HPSC.

The future of peace is achieveable with you our citizens!"

The crowd before the man cheered as the held up signs saying things like "justice for Deku." "RiP Deku" "bring back peace." While some of the crowd even dressed as him wearing hoodies designed like his costume.

The man smiled at the response to his speech and was aware he was going to receive some backlash. Buts that's just politics.

20 Years Later

The streets around appear to be normal during the early evening as passerbyers walk along minding their own business. On this street is a sign that reads.

On this spot is the last stand of Deku.

The Last Great Hero of the quirk age.

Suddenly arcs and sparks in the colour of rainbow start to appear near the sign gaining peoples attention. The arcs and sparks grow bigger and more wild making those close stand back until a small explosion echoes from the center of the arcs.

With a screaming shout of pain Izuku flys out of the explosion crashing head first into the sign shattering it to pieces and quickly knocking him out cold with a low groan.
