A.N. Hi everyone! I hope you're all having a good day/ night. Thank you for all the love for this story and chapter 26. This chapter had undergone so many rewrites, with that being said I hope you enjoy it.
"I've loved and I've lost enough for a lifetime. This time, it'll be different."
Chapter 27: After Last Night
"I know you, and you know me, the choice is yours."
My words echobetween the two of us in the confines of his bedroom. A few steps away had been the bed we had shared before Elijah and his bull. Downstairs two wine glasses were in the same place we had left them, one glass still had an imprint of my in that very room lye Elijah Mikaelson in all his smugness out for the count, done by the very witch he had wronged. It was poetic justice if you asked me, but with Elijah came a funk that had thrown Klaus and I off the fragile line we were walking.
As I stood before him, I could see all of his rage and anger. It was like watching the sky above just as a raging storm rolled in and brought with it thunder, lightening and the rare form of hail.
Klaus was all of those things as he peered down at me with denim blue eyes swirling with so much emotion that it consumed the once vibrant blue eyes, leaving only amber.
"You do realize what you've just done?" Klaus asks his voice sounding gravely.
I cross my arms in front of my chest. "I won't apologize for what happened! Elijah came after me and I was defending myself." I say with a bite to my voice. "Did you expect me to cower and beg for his mercy, because that will never be me. I will always fight, for myself and the people I care about."
Klaus fixes himself another glass of the expensive stuff and downs it quickly before bringing trained eyes my way. "I never asked you to be anything but yourself."
"But you're mad at me for doing something you would've done?"
He glares so hard my way that swallow a lump in my throat.
"You attacked my brother! My family! Nobody gets away with that." Klaus tosses my way.
I nod my head. "Maybe, but your brother deserved it and if you can't see that, then this conversation is a waste of time." I say bitterly.
When all he does is brood my way, I've made up my mind. We don't need to talk anymore. I'm going to get my shoes, pick up the remains of my dress and get the fuck out of his house and his life. He must see the resolve in my eyes because he soon speaks up.
"Don't you dare walk away from me." Klaus booms.
"Why so you can defend your brother and I can therefore defend myself." I spit out. "You heard all the awful things he said to me. Things he said about Abby, Damon oh and my favorite part me using my femininity to play you for a fool!" I snicker his way all the while walking closer. "Your brother thinks so low of you that he thinks a simple taste of me has you gullible and wide open for an attack." I smile up at him. "He thinks I'd use the heat between the two of us to get back at him, that while I'm fucking you– he's on my mind." I taunt.
The glass in his hand breaks as he crushes it with his bare hands.
His eyes then linger on my body for a few seconds. "Do you believe it, when your inside me that Elijah is on my mind?"
The vein in his neck throbs while he grits his teeth. "Elijah, in his misguided way is just trying to protect the family, to protect me."
"From me?" I chuckle again.
Klaus only tightens his fist and clenches his lips.
His silence is enough for me. It was obvious that Klaus would defend his brother till the end of time. I knew where it stemmed from. Elijah had protected, well at least attempted to protect Klaus from Mikael all those years ago. The elder Mikaelson may have had Klaus's back when they were kids, when they turned and even when they fled from Mikael. It was obvious that Klaus felt as if he owed his brother, even if he'd never admit to it. Always and forever was what he said kept he and his siblings together– even when they despised each other. I had heard the stories, of how controlling Klaus had been to Rebekah so much that she had always taken off to parts enough to get away from him. I also heard all about how Elijah seemed to want everything Klaus had touched, Katherine, Haley, you name it. They were dysfunctional, but still family.
"I'm leaving." I say my mind made up. I won't do this. This thing with Klaus was supposed to be fun, and light and that was not what it was anymore, not right now and I didn't want any part of it.
The only emotion I see on his face is a slight flicker of his eyes going back to blue, for a slight second. "The hell you are, we aren't finished."
Resolute I push my shoulders back. "I'm not gonna go back and forth with you about Elijah." I say walking around him. "I won't beg you to see my side." I toss over my shoulder as I gather my stuff. "Fuck that, fuck you and fuck Elijah." I say shoes in hand while what's left of my dress hands over arm. "We're done." I say simply.
I get to the door only to feel Klaus a breath away from me. I can feel his body heat, feel his hand close to touching me but never doing so. At least he knew better. If he dared to touch me, I'd light him up.
"I drove, in case you've forgotten. How are you going to get home?" He says amusement in his voice.
It's the amusement in his voice that makes me turn his way. "I know people, and if each and every one of them are busy, I'd gladly hop on a broomstick to get away from you and your bitch ass brother." I growl out, before whirling around to open his bedroom door.
The door barley opens because he slaps his hand on it so hard, I was surprised it hadn't shattered. His palm lands over my head, effectively keeping the door shut all the while I'm fuming. If I'm the bad girl, why won't he let me go?
When I do turn his way, it's slowly and I'm met with copper eyes. "You are not going anywhere!"
"Really?" I ask my face close to his. "How are you gonna stop me?" I ask seconds away from projecting my ass out of his home and into mine.
Once again, he must see the moment I've made up my mind because he wraps his arms around me, like a snake after its prey. He trails his nose from below my ear lope to the opening of his shirt that adorns my body. My eyes close briefly before he slams me against the door.
"Don't push me." He says quietly almost as if he's pleading with me. "Im capable of much more than you know." Pause. "I can do so much to you– things you'd never think of." He grins now. "You'd see I'm not just good in bed but at revenge as well."
"Make your move then– it's what you want. It's what you've always wanted from the moment you met me." I say my voice sounding foreign to my own ears. "Maybe this is the moment you've been waiting for, the moment you planned from that very first night."
My words seem to inflict more harm then I thought because he lets me go all together. I watch as he takes a dramatic step back. "You should leave." He says finally. "I'll call Josh and have him take you home." He says not even sparing me a glance.
My nose starts to run, as tears threaten to spill over. I won't cry though. "No need, I can take care of myself."
I run out of that house the way I should have that very first night. It's only when I get outside do I let out the breath I had been holding.

When the door slammed, he told himself he should be glad. She, Bonnie had made this easier on the two of them. Instead of tears with lots of begging and pleading to be the perfect person for him, Bonnie had done the opposite of all of his other jaded lovers. Instead, the Bennett witch had stood with a straight spine, shoes in hand, forest green eyes so dark it reminded him of when he was in wolf form looking up at the pine trees at the height of the full moon. Her eyes were as bewitching as the rest of her. Instead of ruining the moment, with words that would only lead to them being back at square one, she tilts her head to the side and then leaves him watching her till she was gone.
She's officially fucked him up. His emotions as a hybrid are jumbled even more now that she's gone. His first instinct is to fight for his family but when it comes to Bonnie something primal is always on the verge of taking over. If he had been the sentimental type, he'd believe Bonnie had been the one, the one that was just for him.
He menders to the bar, his skin tingling from the kisses she had placed on it earlier. He tells himself good riddance. How long could this fling with them truly last. They were as different as night and day– yet they found common ground. At least she hadn't tried to curse him, that had happen plenty of times when he sent his bed buddies packing. It was all her fault, well, rather it was all Elijahs' fault. All they meaning Bonnie and Elijah had to do was outlast this fling and then they could have at it, without much interference from him, but no. Elijah had to be paranoid and Bonnie, well she had– had enough.
He tosses his drink back letting the liquid burn down his throat but feeling no relief. On one hand he wanted to say fuck you Bonnie Bennett, who do you think you are challenging any Mikaelson. And then he wants to say that Elijah deserved all the hell sent his way. He wants to say that family is everything and loyalty means the world to him because its true, but then he's reminded of all the times Elijah has wronged him. Bonnie on the other hand has stood up to everyone who dared say one negative thing about him, she's the most loyal person he's ever encountered and yet he tossed her out like she another one of his one offs.
For a brief moment he's torn. He can imagine her outside, chin up as always, shirt soaked through, hair drenched across her face while she clutches to her precious phone with one hand and her sexy shoes in the other. Then he imagines what she's cooked up for Elijah, granted his brother deserved it.
A thunderous sound of rain pours from the sky so hard he looks up at the skylight in his bedroom. If that wasn't a sign he doesn't know what is.
The decision is made right then. He knows what he wants. He wants her, he wants her till she doesn't want him anymore.
Using vampire speed he heads to the courtyard where she has been pelted with raindrops. In true Bennett form she's ready to go, with her, well his broom floating above ready for her to take her leave. Only thing, he won't let her.
"Bonnie." He calls, shirtless with his jeans half done up. He's barefoot as the rain beats down on the two of them.
She only looks on at him with big doe green eyes. Eyes that he has often found himself staring into way too often. It's the color that trips him up. He's never seen such exquisite eye color before her. With just one look you can tell her every mood.
Chin up like always she looks up at him, ready for anything he may bring her way. She doesn't say a word but her eyes say everything. They say screw you, you've lost your chance.
In the distance, lightening strikes and he rushes to her side enveloping her in his arms. She tries to shake him off of her but he's stronger and he won't let her go. "You're gonna get sick out here." He yells over the hard rain.
"I'll be fine, get off of me." She seethes pushing at him.
He ignores her. "Come back inside."
She scoffs. "You told me to leave, I'm leaving."
He sighs, "Bonnie, come back inside." He says his patience running thin. "Now." He snaps.
"No! Never again." She says so matter of fact, he's seconds from getting in her face and that he'll never let her out of his sight again.
"No?" He repeats. Oh my god, she would rather catch pneumonia than just follow him. He had never met anyone more stubborn. "I won't take no for an answer." He says through gritted teeth. He keeps his eyes on her face because he looks further down, he'll get distracted.
"You don't have a choice in the matter." She says chin up as always. "We're done here."
He smiles now. "Neither do you." He says throwing her over his shoulder before disappearing into the house.
Bayou
She stands in the rain as her magic swirls around her and everyone else. Her plan had been to infect the Mikaelsons and the Bennetts she'd destroy them from the inside out. She'd use every weakness that the brothers and cousins had leaving them nothing but an open scar. It was a shame because it didn't have to be this way. They made her do it and they'd pay dearly because in the end, nobody would get a happy ending if she couldn't have one herself.

Hours later he awakes from a light slumber. Looking at the clock he realizes he's woken up just in time for his dear brother to come back from the dead. Bonnie had said that the spell would end at eight of clock and now it was nearing 7:30. Gazing down at her, he runs his thumb over her bottom lip. Who would've known the beautiful woman sleeping next to him would turn out to be such a menace? She had told him once before she wasn't the same girl as before, and he believed her then, now though Elijah would believe her as well.
She shifts in the bed bringing herself closer to him, and he can't help as a slow smile spreads across his lips. She, Bonnie had been the one woman in a very long time that had power to leave him nearly speechless. He was amazed by her everything, her ruthlessly, the way she still wore her heart on her sleeve, the way she cared about things and other people. She had left him speechless with her actions and the way she moved, her body, beauty, strength but most of all her resilience and beautiful bravery she wore like a second skin.
Bonnie Bennett was everything a man, any man, but most of all a man like him could possibly wish for. They were fire and ice but sometimes they were fire and fire, ice and ice. They were one in the same.
Hopping out of bed he finds his eyes once again looking her way. What she accomplished last night, was a feat. No other person would ever walk away from– yet Bonnie walked away unscathed.
Flashback
His room door slams so loud it gives the thunder outside a run for its money. After nearly dragging her back inside from the rain, he opts to start her a bath. She glares at him across the room, eyeliner smudged, lipstick long gone and hair soaked down her back. Still he found her beautiful.
She's shivering in the shirt he had worn earlier. It was insanely long against her small frame, and despite it– he had never seen her look more beautiful. The room still smelled of the two of them and all the passion they shared together. Even now, she smelled like him. It made him proud, at least his wolf side, to know that his scent was all over her. That her last great memory would be of him. Because no matter how fond he was of her, or how good in bed they were together, nobody went against his family. He'd have to teach her a lesson.
"Your bath water is ready." Is all he says while he keeps his back turned to her. She was too tempting to look at right now.
She doesn't say anything to him but she does slam his bathroom door hard as she could.
Sitting on the ottoman he replays everything in his mind. He had heard it all, the insults ,insinuations, and accusations that Elijah had thrown her way. The way she had warned him that she was not in the mood. Words were shared, harsh words, bitter words from a girl who was still broken on the inside but put together on the outside. Elijah had even mentioned Damon which was strike one and a half. Then he heard Elijah say the one word he had no business uttering. His buttoned up brother had mentioned Abby and well after that, all bets were off.
Sitting on the ottoman by the window he puffs at his cigar. He could admit that Elijah had an ass whopping coming his way by Bonnie for a long time, he just wished it had been when he didn't find himself bewitched by her.
When she steps out of the bathroom, she's wearing another one of his shirts, this one a henley and he wants to trample on the sense of pride he feels seeing her in his clothes. "What you've done, poses a problem, going after Elijah..."
"I don't care about Elijah!" She says at the top of her lungs.
He sends her a scathing look. "You've made that very clear."
"I tried to leave, you told me to leave and then you bring me back here, to what go round in circles about Elijah? " She scoffs. "I don't want to do this anymore." She says now, her voice much quieter. "I don't want to fight. This- whatever it was," She smiles a wistful smile. "It's over." She says walking over to the drink cart to pour herself a glass.
He doesn't dare look her way. "You say that it's over."
She looks over at him, he can feel the heat of her eyes. "It is over."
He doesn't know who she's fooling but he'll play along. "Prove it."
She sets her drink down and walks over to him. "I don't have to prove anything to you or your family. You've made your feelings about me very clear." She grabs his chin, forcing him to look at her. "Since I'm the bad guy, err girl in your story, I say we end this, the way we started." She says her words sounding raspy due to the bourbon.
His nostrils flare at the thought of it being over, it would never really be over, not for them. He could feel it in his bones.
She moves away taking with her, her scent, her scent with his bodywash.
"It's okay to look at me, you know." She says causing him to look her way once again. She's playing him like he should be playing her, like he will play her– he's just enjoying her game for a little bit longer. "I've just put your brother out till eight a.m." She pauses to bite her lip and he desperately wants to lick the drop of blood that appears. A ghost of a smile appears on her plump lips and he wants to kiss her.
She's got him twisted all over again.
She then starts to lift his shirt off of her. "I've drained him of nearly all but a spec– of his precious original vampire blood." She says pausing to chuckle. "He's nearly desiccated and yet here I am here nearly naked as the day I was born." She then removes his shirt fully from her person, leaving her and all her buttery soft skin on display. "For you."
He's on her then, with her back placed on the silk sheets. "I can end you right now, it would be so easy." He says through gritted teeth as his face descends on her.
"You could," She says with heavy lidded green eyes. She then takes his bottom lip between her teeth, causing him to grow harder as if that was possible. "But I have a feeling you don't want to." She says as her hand palms him. "In fact, I think knowing what I capable of, makes you want me more." Smile. "And knowing that this is your last chance, you'll take it."
He smiles down at her. "Is that so?" He asks as their foreheads touch. Her hand movements speed up all the while he chokes down the urge to have her again and again. "You are beautiful and powerful– taking you down will be my greatest feat. It'll go down in the history books." His eyes close as he gets closer and closer.
"Make your move then." Her seductive voice purrs. "It's what you want right?"
In his head he growls out how much he wants her, how he wants her the way she wants him.
It occurs to him that she's letting him control the situation. She'll make her move once he's made his. Knowing the two of them they would just counter each other till Elijah awoken from the spell. He doesn't want that, and neither does she. Its their pride and probably the guard they keep up that is between them now.
"I know you, love" He says his voice soft. "And you know me."
He opens his eyes feeling the animal inside clawing to be released. She see's it, the moment he werewolf comes to the surface. Right now, he knows his eyes have turned amber without any hint of blue. Though he's still all man, it's the urges that have taken over. Instead of her being afraid, she places her hand on his cheek.
"You know me, and I know you." Is the last words she dares to say to him.
She had always said she wasn't afraid of him.
In that moment their fates were sealed. It didn't matter if they were doomed, if this could crash and burn, or even if this was the biggest mistake they had ever made– they were in too deep to stop now.
When they join, they moan in unison. Lips melting from a harsh kiss to something softer.

They've made up, with the slam of hips meeting each other, with hands gripping rightly till hands lace together. They've made up with harsh kisses, to long soft kisses. They've made up till nothing else matters but the two of them. Nothing else matters, not Elijah and not Damon.
Much later she's laying with her head on his chest, tears falling from her eyes, tears that may never dry. "I hate him, I hate everything about him and nothing will ever change that." pause. "I know that now."
He rubs her back similar to what he had done the night before when she bared her soul to him. "You got your payback though, surly you feel a little bit better."
She looks up at him her eyes finally drying. "Just a little."
He only holds onto her tighter.
End of flashback
His plan had been to greet Elijah once the spell was broken. He and his brother had a lot to discuss. The first and foremost being Bonnie. He knew that Elijah would be angry that she had cast a spell that left him nearly desiccated and although Elijah often played the role of the good original he had a nasty side that came out to play every couple of years. He of course would never let that nasty side of Elijah ever touch Bonnie again. Not after all she had been through. His brother would not harm a hair on her head, not now or ever. In fact he was going to make it clear that Elijah was to do nothing to retaliate against Bonnie or anyone she cared about.
He knew Elijah would be angry and he had a right to be upset, however he felt very little sympathy for his brother. Especially since for the second night in a row he had watched her cry over Elijah and his past actions. Besides it wasn't like he and his siblings hadn't done worst to each other. It didn't matter what happened between Bonnie and Elijah because in the end he wanted her. He just needed to make that sentiment clear to his brother.
Looking at the time, he realizes that Elijah will awaken soon and they were in need for a serious talk.
EM-EM
Elijah
For the last five hours he could hear all and not be able to move. It was one of the most disturbing things to go through. Not only had he have to listen to display upstairs between his brother and Bonnie, but he also had to relive the incident through Bonnies eyes as the spell had required. Now though as he was beginning to return to form he felt the stirring of his blood beginning to pump throughout his body. He had once said that Niklaus daggering him had been one of the worst things to ever go through, then their was that time that he was bitten by Klaus was far worst. However the spell that Bonnie had put him under was like a combination of all three but this time he was bitten with magic and that was something he had never wanted ever again.
Coming to, he sits up to see Klaus sitting in a chair drink in hand. A drink and a blood bag placed to him, as he glares at his brother. Instead of speaking he takes both the blood bag and the drink and downs them both quickly. "Where is she?" He says calmly as he looks over at Klaus.
Klaus only grins. "Good morning to you too Elijah."
"Cut the pleasantries Niklaus. I warned you about her– she was using you the whole time to get to me and how do you reward her? " He says standing. "You let your animal instincts take over and mount her." Elijah says with a putrid look on his normally passive face.
Klaus only gives him a slow smile that only grates on his nerves. "Bonnie and I are none of your business." Niklaus says evenly. "In fact I'd say after that spell she put on you– the two of you are rather even."
Elijah whirls around to give him a scowl. "The hell we are!" He spits out like venom. "She attacked me, and nobody does that." Pause. "Always and forever says so."
He can see it the moment that Niklaus has closed himself off. His brother stands to his full height. Do you remember what happened after Ester, or all the times you conspired against me?" Niklaus reminds him.
Arms crossed he looks Niklaus up and down. "You paid me back for that just as I have paid you back for the crap you've pulled over the years. You, Niklaus are the one that believes in payback."
Klaus nods his head as he rolls the glass between his fingers. He's got that look in his eye, that look that is full of stubborn determination that often wears out his enemies. While it only serves to drive his family crazy.
"I warned you before never to touch her and you did." Niklaus says as his hybrid eyes are on full display. His calm demeanor has slipped away as fangs are showing and fist are clenched. "Shall I dagger you as your punishment or go straight for the bite." Klaus says zooming in front of him.
"Which will it be, the choice is yours- you let it go, or I'll choose for you." Niklaus bites back.
He can only bristle at the words of his younger brother. Though Niklaus is in a state that is far too gone to listen to reason at this point. "Your not giving me much of a choice."
"You deserved it." Niklaus utters. His brow is furrowed while his body is rigid. " You only felt a fraction of what she feels on a daily basis. You should consider yourself lucky, she gave you some mercy." Klaus continues on. "Move on from this Elijah." Klaus says his tone indicating that he's already on the edge. His eyes are flickering from blue to amber. "Because I will not let you hurt her, she will go untouched from here on out." Klaus then looks at his watch. "If you won't do this for me, do it for your relationship with Lucy– you know the Bennett women, you cross them and they will come back at you much harder and stronger." Niklaus says walking out of the room.
He only bristles at the words Niklaus dares to utter his way.
"Oh and Elijah, you might want to shower, breakfast is an hour and I want this place free from negative energy." Klaus throws over his shoulder before disappearing up the stairs and back to Bonnie.
He balls his hand into a fist and takes a deep breath. Does he understand the fury that Bonnie held toward him, yes. He felt that same fury with Niklaus over and over again. He also knows what it feels like to get retribution as well. And Bonnie had gotten hers.
In the end, he would have to let bygones be bygones. It was only the right thing to do.
Reaching into his pocket he finds his phone and decides to call Lucy.
The phone ring three times before Lucy finally picks up.
"Hello Elijah!"
"Greetings Lucy! Are you busy?"
"Not really I just finished a kick ass workout why?"
He finds himself smiling into a phone. "Did you have fun?"
She chuckles into the phone. "Yeah!"
"Are you hungry?"
"I could eat."
"Excellent." He says smiling once again. "The family is having breakfast this morning, and I'd like to invite you to come for breakfast as well."
"Okay, Elijah you've got me." Lucy says a smile in her voice.
"Excellent. Bonnie is already here so you don't have to wonder about her."
Lucy only chuckles again. "See you."
When the line goes dead, he looks down at his clothes. He really needs to shower and change clothes.

Climbing up the stairs to his bedroom, his spirits were lifted. He knew that Elijah had heard him and understood the meaning of his words. He had no doubt that Elijah would let go of his anger towards Bonnie. After all, he had deserved it.
Bonnie was his, and that was the end of it, if Elijah knew what was best for him, he'd just keep it moving.
When he made it to his bedroom, he found his bed empty his are sheets gone as well and the woman that nearly started a war between he and his brother gone as well. Swiftly he moves around the room only to find her sitting outside wrapped up in his Egyptian midnight blue silk sheets while looking out as his vast amount of property.
His heart thumped loudly telling him words he would never utter.
He places his hands in his jean pockets while taking her sight in. "You thinking about running after all we've been through?" He asks causing her to stiffen at his voice. She cast him a glance over his shoulder and he feels a knot form inside of his stomach. What if, she was actually really thinking about taking off? It wouldn't surprise him, he had been waiting for the moment she had decided that this was no longer exciting and new for her.
When she turns around to face him a small smile falls on her lips, the same lips that had kissed every inch of his body. The same lips he had found his eyes dropping too, whenever she was near.
"I'd let you know before I ditched you." She says her lips turned into a smirk. "I might even leave you a note that said thanks for the dick." She jokes.
He walks closer and wraps an arm around her. "You've been crying." He notices the faint tears, the red eyes and can smell the salt in the air.
She looks down now and grabs his free hand. "I'm fine now." Pause. "I was just thinking about my life choices."
He stiffens at her words. He doesn't want to be her mistake, or her streak of rebellion, he just wants to be near her. "Am I part of your life choices you're rethinking." He says lifting her chin, so that he can get a good look at her face.
She lets out a sigh and looks elsewhere as she tries and fails to escape him. "After last night, after this morning– I just, it got me thinking..."
"About me?" He asks his voice low. He had been pushed away by many. The fact that Bonnie had let him in, had surprised him– but he was greedy and the more she opened herself up to him the more he wanted. If he could, he would take it all.
"I fought with your brother and the things I said I don't regret, I meant every word. I don't even care if he's still feeling the effects of my spell. In fact I would like it if he felt a bit more pain." She admits. " But what bothers me, is that one day I might let my anger get the best of me." She chuckles though it's sounds hollow. "This is the after effects of Kai and Silas and everything else that came after."
He leans close to her so that their faces are close. "You're still a good person Bonnie. Nothing can change that." He murmurs. "Take it from someone who has been tainted for many years."
She furrows her brows and he wants to kiss her forehead but refrains. "How do you know that? You're brother thinks I'm a schemer and Elena probably thinks I stole her boyfriend."
"It's you're heart." He says touching her silk covered chest. "It was pure when I first met you and it's still pure now."
She stifles a grin but he can see it. "Are you sure or were you just trying to cop a feel?"
He tilts his head to either side. "Maybe a little bit of both."
She then wraps her arms around his neck. "I thought so!"
He's grinning now, when suddenly a car driving like a lunatic enters the compound. He can tell by the screeching tires that it's Rebekah. That was why he never let her drive his cars. Marcel would learn the same thing eventually, that is if she hadn't had him wrapped around her finger.
He and Bonnie instantly look down as the couple escapes the car.
"Hey! You freaks get a room." Marcel yells out with a big smile on his face.
Rebekah grimaces. "It's way too early in the morning to see all of that." She whines before following Marcel into the house.
Once alone he looks back at Bonnie. "It's almost breakfast time, and I know for a fact you're hungry." he says dimpling her way. "And this breakfast comes with a surprise."
"A surprise?"
He nods. "You trust me."
She bites her lip. "Despite everything, yeah."
He understands her. "I trust you too." he says tugging her forward into a kiss.
Nothing else mattered, not Elijah and not Damon, he wouldn't let them tear he and Bonnie apart, he'd fight tooth and nail to stay in this moment.

With a gasp he woke up with blood soaked clothes. The events of hours before were non excitant. As he looked around he saw nothing but red. The room was trashed his bed sheets were just as red as everything else. He expected to find Vincent or Stefan but found he was all alone.
When the door sounded he hopped up expecting anyone but Enzo.
"Ready for a replay." The vampire asked with shades over his eyes. "Here, drink this– it'll help."
He looked down at the flask, shrugged his shoulders and felt himself falling backwards, before everything went black.
