Billy hated his father. He hated him so much. He hated him for abusing his beloved mother, leading her to leave them. She was gone, leaving him there when his father got full custody over Billy. Which caused his mother to commit suicide.

Now, Billy was meeting his new mother and sisters. Susan, Maxine, and Lucy. Billy was fifteen, Lucy was twelve, and Maxine was eight. Billy briefly met Maxine and Susan. But when he met Lucy, a mousey looking girl.

She stood beside Neil with her head down.

She didn't like this whole thing either. She missed her dad who died when she and Max were young. And then Neil appears to tell them that he was getting married to their mother. The wedding was coming up, and the family needed to meet before the Hargroves moved into their new place.

"Billy? This is Lucy. Lucy? This is your new older brother Billy. Billy? You will be protecting Lucy and Maxine. They are your sisters now." He told his son. Lucy looked up at the boy in front of her.

Billy finally got a better look at her. She was still growing into her body. Her ears were a bit bigger than they should be. Her mouth a bit to big. And she had big green and blue eyes.

The two just looked at each other. But she refused to shake his hand when he held it out. "She is autistic Billy. She isn't being rude. She isn't use to being touched by others." Susan tried to explain.

Susan rubbed her eldest daughters should and when Lucy looked up at her mother, Susan nodded in encouragement before Lucy looked back at Billy and took his hand. Her hands were so much smaller than his own. Softer as well.

Lucy quickly took her hand away and looked back at her mother. "Can I go back and play?" She asked. "Yes. But why don't you take Billy with you and you two can play together." Susan offered. Billy fought to not roll his eyes in front of his father.

He didn't want to play with a stupid and shy kid.

Not when he didn't want this to begin with.

When it was the day of the wedding, Lucy was all dressed up. Both sisters were. They had on the same powder blue dress. With bows in their hair. To Billy, they looked like a doll. "What are you doing?" Lucy asked as she walked up to him.

Billy was hiding away in a storage room, because he didn't really want to be there. She stood in front of him, her in the dress made her stand out more, and the room seem grosser. She held her hands in front of her.

"I was bored." Billy told the younger girl. She looked around her. "It's gross here." She noted making Billy roll his eyes. "That's why I'm here. So, no one will bother me. So, go away." He told her.

She stayed there though. He glared at her. "I said." He got up and shoved her. "Go away!" He ordered her. She fell over and yelped. She looked up at him and teared up. She ran out and was crying.

Billy felt power seeing he made her cry. He felt strong doing it. He liked it.

He grinned and turned away. He liked feeling like this.
