Yumi begins first.

A witch, in white glass-jeweled clothing appeared out of the sandy ground.

'Using her effect, I add Magistus Theurgy to my hand!'

'I activate it, equipping Riliona with Artemis, the Magistus Moon Maiden! Now Zoroa enters my hand!'

The night comes, and shines upon the beautiful witch

'I set a card facedown and end my turn!

Naki, obviously noticing her strategy, draws.

'I activate OBEDIENCE SCHOOLED! Now I summon Kalantosa, Melfy Puppy and Melfy Cat!'

'I OVERLAY MELFFY CAT AND PUPPY, BUILDING THE OVERLAY NETWORK WITH THE TWO!

COME FORTH ON YOUR SHINING HORSE AND CLAIM VICTORY!

XYZ SUMMON: RANK 2: SKY CAVALRY CENTAUREA!

A warrior in white iron technological Armor, with a horse in the same Armor, rose from the Galactic formation of Cat and Puppy.

'I Now summon BARRIER STATUE OF THE DROUGHT, and attack your Rilliona with it!

A massive stone wall rose from the ground, as Yumi dashes to a stone

GO, FALLING WALL!'

The wall falls, as Yumi closes into an action card. She slides, and catches it.

'I activate the action spell: Attack Force! Verre's attack becomes 1600, destroying your wall!'

Verre creates a Magic circle, crumbling the wall with it as a shield

'Then I set a card and end my turn!'

Yumi pants, drawing.

'I summon Zoroa, the Magistus of flame!'

'I TUNE ZOROA WITH VERRE!

'SHINE LIKE BURNING STARS AND BREAK THROUGH EVEN THE DEEPEST DARKNESS!'

Once again, A Colossal red man, with runes upon his body, wings sprouting from his back with flaming arms emerges from the circles

'SYNCHRO SUMMON! LEVE 8, ZOROA, THE MAGISTUS CONFLRANGANT CALAMITY!'

'I equip Ninaruru, The Magistus glass Goddess to him! Now you can't activate your XYZ monsters' effects!'

A glass maiden, dressed in white Elvin robes, appears sitting on Zoroa's shoulder.

'DARN IT!' Naki starts running, checking each piece of the ancient broken temple.

'GO, ZOROA! FLAMES OF ULTIMATIUM-'

I ACTIVATE THE ACTION CARD: BIG ESCAPE! ENDING THE BATTLE PHASE HERE AND NOW!'

Zoroa unbraces his hands, as he folds them, pouting a little

Yumi scoffs 'Then I end my turn.'

Naki draws, the same smile coming to his face, before it disappears. 'Restrain yourself!' He thought

'I activate TRAP TRICK! NOW I BANISH A COPY OF AND ADD ARTIFACT SANCTUM TO THE FIELD AND ACTIATE IT DUE TO TRAP TRICK'S EFFECT!'

Yumi lifts up a card. 'Ash Blossom Joyous Spring.'

'What?'

'Ash Blossom Joyous Spring. I thought it was popular.'

'What does it do, Hito!'

'Negates that effect. By sending it to the grave.'

'WHAT?'

'I don't particularly like it either, but something's at stake here.'

A ghost girl, with Sakura petals falling around her comes out of the ground, slams her head on the large tower, the physical manifestation of Artifact scythe, toppling it like Dominoes.

'NOOO!'

'I-I End my turn!'

'Fool.' Yumi draws. 'Now, Zoroa! FLAMES OF ULTIMATIUM!'

Naki scrambles for cards, but fails, as Zoroa hits his monster.

NAKI: 4100

Naki draws.

'I summon Nemesis Flag and end... my… crap' Naki realises his misplay, as the red demon centaur facepalms for him

Naki runs, Yumi draws. As he ran, he noticed something

'Are those…. TWO CARDS!?'

'Zoroa! Attack again!'

Zoroa's flames aim again, hitting the ground beneath Naki

NAKI: 1300

Naki gets knocked down, but he grabbed the cards.

He draws.

'I ACTIVATE ARTIFACT SANCTUM, SUMMONING ARTIFACT SCYTHE!'

'NOW I SUMMON LIFELESS LEAFFISH!'

'SAME PLAY AS LAST TIME, I SUMMON:

MY ACE MONSTER!

ALPHA, THE MASTER OF BEASTS!'

'I activate the Action card, POWER GEM! My card gains 800 ATK!'

'And now, I activate this: ANOTHER ACTION CARD, OVERSWORD! MY ALPHA GAINS'

ATTACK, ALPHA CLAW!'

'NOW. I END. MY. TURN!'

YUMI: 5500

Zoroa goes down, and so does the glass Goddess, as Yumi draw, and just stood...

Quietly…

…

It's almost as if-

'I summon Crowley, The Magistus of Grimoires, and Use Zoroa's Graveyard effect to re-summon him to the field!'

'NOT AGAIN!' Naki yells, remembering Vahram's effect.

'And I use my newly drawn MAGISTUS THEURGY to equip AIWASS TO HIM, making his attack 4900!'

ATTACK, BOTH OF YOU! SPIRIT FLAMING OVERDRIVE!'

NAKI: 1000

With Naki at 1000 Life points, the resto of the Duel went by in a swing. Naki was eventually defeated, the second time.

Yumi walked out of the stadium, passing the cheery Sora Shiunin, on his way out. He waved at her and smile, as she walked back.

'How the heck Did you forget about the audience?' Minato asked, as they sat watching the Duel between Sora and Ryo. The field was the inside of an airship, and their seats looked as if they were hovering on air.

'I don't know, I just got so lost in the dueling' She replied, nervously.

Rinne, the girl from last match leaned in to her from the side 'It's fine, we all do that sometimes. Don't be a disappointment like that other girl, Okay sweetheart?'

Yumi held her breath, and nodded. Minato however, was less quiet.

'Ms. Minoru! I watched your tournament on live tv! It's a great pleasure meeting you!'

Rinna smiled, enjoying the attention. 'Well, Mr Muto, the pleasure's all mine. Don't turn out to be a dull duelist either, okay?' she said flirtatiously.

Minato's face turned red. 'Y-YES MAAM!'

Meanwhile, on the field, Sora was winning.

'Defeated by a kid? How could I?' The 30-year-old man, Ryo, gaped at the towering figure of a Teddy bear, split in half with a pair of scissors coming out of its stomach, a pair of glowing eyes taunting him. Sora was on his shoulder.

Sora 'Y'know Mister, for a 30-year-old duelist, you're actually pretty weak, aren't you' Sora said, laughing.

'Sh-Shut up! Little bast- '

He was stopped by the Bear stomping its large foot on Ryo, as Ryo's life points drop to zero and the airship around them, dissolved

The audience cheered as Sora walked out.

Sora took the seat behind Yumi.

'Hey! You're the girl that won against spiky-hair!'

Yumi nodded, a little shy 'A-Aren't you supposed to be watching the B-block matchups?'

'Nah, they don't look too strong.' He said, staring blankly out into the massive floating platform, with small magical structures the size of houses floating around them.

'I know, right?' Rinne chimes in. 'None of them have any extra deck monsters out yet, not to mention no Pendulum summons either!'

'Right?' Sora agreed, smiling. 'Hope you two aren't as dull as those two!'

Yumi suddenly remembered that She would be fighting either Sora or Rinne next. 'L-let's give it out all!' She says, as the audience cheer at the final blow, the arena disappearing again.

The time had come for Minato and Mirai's duel. The computer booted up.

'DUE TO PRESIDENT KAIBA'S REQUEST, HIS DUELS WILL TAKE PLACE EXCLUSIVELY IN BLUE EYES' LAIR' it said, as a cave, with shining eggs across the ground appeared.

Minato spoke, as he went first. 'Just like old times, isn't it Kaiba?'

'I never expected you to be on an enemy's side on this one.'

Minato stood up straight. 'She's NOT AN ENEMY!

'I TAKE PERFORMAPAL PENDULUM SORCERER AND HARMONIZING MAGICIAN, AND SET THE PENDULUM SCALE!'

The Pendulum Scale opens, once again.

'MAGICIANS AND PERFORMERS! UNITE UNDER THE SWING OF A PENDULUM AND BRING FORTH A NEW AGE!'

'PENDULUM SUMMON! COME TO THE FIELD!

- BLACK FANG MAGICIAN!

- PERFORMAPAL CELESTIAL MAGICIAN!

- PURPLE POISON MAGICIAN!

A Big, Buff, Magician with a spear, a magician with silver and green robes and wings and a green robed red whipped equipped magician appeared.

WITH PENDULUM SORCERER'S EFFECT, CELESTIAL MAGICIAN'S ATTACK GOES UP TO 2500!'

'I END MY TURN!'

Minato runs to a shining stone, trying to break them open.

Kaiba draws.

'I activated Bingo Machine, Go! I can reveal 3 cards from the deck. Pick one, Minato.'

A bingo machine appears, releasing three capsules

Minato, still kicking the stone, says. 'Card 2!'

'Good choice. I add THE WHITE STONE OF ANCIENTS to my hand!

A white stone appeared from the capsule, turning into a card and going into Mirai's hand

Now, I summon Maiden with Eyes of Blue, setting a trap card, and ending my turn.

Minato draws, stopping to think.

'I activate Star Pendulumgraph, which means you can't target my monsters with Spell effects!'

His magicians glow.

'Now, I- '

'You're about to say 'End my turn?'' Mirai taunts, strolling over to a white stone, picking up an action card. 'I thought I knew you better.'

'Don't think you can taunt me, Kaiba!'

'Oh, dear Muto,' Mirai continues to taunt 'The audience want a show... What do you think that great grandfather of yours that you look up to oh so much would think if you wussed out at a time like this?'

The audience cheered in reply. Minato shook.

'You have no right to insult Great-Grandpa Yugi!

CELESTIAL MAGICIAN! ATTACK HIS MAIDEN!'

Celestial magician points to the maiden, an energy ball appearing.

'FOOL! I ACTIVATE THE MAIDEN'S EFFECT; NEGATING YOUR ATTACK, CHANGING HER TO DEFENSE AND ALLOWING ME TO SPECIAL SUMMON FROM MY HAND!

The maiden puts her hands to her forehead, in prayer, as a light appeared beside her

'Great grandfather, watch me.'

'I SUMMON BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON!'

A massive blue-eyed behemoth appeared from the glow, bearing its sharp teeth, as it roared to the Minato, knocking him off as the stone broke

'Then POISON MAGICIAN: ATTACK THE MAIDEN!'

The poison magician raised their whip.

'NICE TRY, But I activate the trap card NEGATE ATTACK!'

The trap card rose, as the poison magician's whip stopped mid-air, walking, back to their original place.

'GAH! I end my turn then'

He continues his search, running to another stone

Mirai smug-smiles

'I draw!'

'I attack your Celestial Magician with Blue eyes! GO! BURST STREAM OF DESTRUCTION!'

The Dragon released an energy beam from its mouth, aiming at the celestial magician.

'I activate THIS card: ACTION CARD: EVASION! It allows me to-'

'Then I activate THIS card: No Action! It negates whatever effect that was and destroy your card!'

Now, attack, Blue-eyes!'

The energy beam hits, and the ground shakes.

MINATO: 5500

'I end my turn…'

'DRAW!'

'IT'S TIME TO SHOW YOU… MY SKILL!'
