Jaune Arc was the sole son of the extensive Arc lineage, holding a history that dated centuries in the past within his veins. The Arc family members tended to become powerful warriors who, according to certain historical events, held army lines and decimate large groups of enemies with only their own weapons and nothing else.

Jaune's family included his mother, father, and seven sisters. Yes, seven of them. This tidbit of knowledge tended to cause others to do a spit-take in surprise. As a result of being the only boy in a family of sisters, they constantly fawned over him as he grew up, becoming overbearing and attentive to his needs at home and at school. They also loved to drag him into accompanying them for various activities and hobbies, such as dancing and cooking.

However, this also meant that they were not afraid to use him as their personal dress-up doll. Jaune was forced into all kinds of colorful dresses, jackets, skirts and accessories. A few of his sisters even styled his hair into various fashions whenever they had the time.

To everybody's surprise, Jaune had ended up genuinely enjoying his dress-up sessions with his sisters. At some point, Jaune began to happily sit and act as a mannequin while his sisters constantly outfitted him in various clothing and accessories. At the beginning, his family had been unsure about such a development, but when they saw his radiant smile and laugh while he twirled in one of Saphron's dresses, they decided to support whatever he enjoyed.

His sisters were always a very protective group of ladies. One day, Jaune decided to try wearing a frilly pink dress to elementary school. Unsurprisingly, his fellow classmates laughed at his getup and called him several severe names. While his homeroom teacher managed to get everyone to quiet down with a thundering smack of her ruler, it did not stop them from pushing Jaune around during recess on the playground. By the end of the day, his dress was muddied and torn thanks to the class bully and his goons.

Upon noticing Jaune's state of being when he returned to the Arc household, his sisters were incensed and set out for blood. Saphron stayed behind, brushing her fingers through Jaune's hair as she calmed him down with a hug.

The bullies suddenly became very nice to Jaune the next day.

Following this incident, Jaune decided to keep his crossdressing passion within private borders such as his home. While he was not sure why the other children thought he was ridiculous for having such an interest, his sisters told him that 'kids are mean, they'll grow up if we have anything to say about it.' Trusting their word, Jaune continued his normal everyday life.

At some point in time, Jaune was wearing a fairly usual blue ensemble, when he took a gander at himself through his closet mirror. Suddenly, a thought came to his mind. Something looks off. Unsure of what he saw, he continuously inspected his form and dress in the mirror before coming to a personal revelation.

Turns out, Jaune was a bit of a perfectionist. In his own personal opinion, the way he looked in the mirror screamed of low-effort to the point of inadequacy. While his sisters and parents maintained that he was fine, Jaune could only continue noticing all the various imperfections and missing pieces of his mirrored form. He decided on a future goal that he would follow for the rest of his life up to now.

I'm going to be so good at dressing up that nobody would be able to tell the difference between me and a real girl.

Mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, check.

Inevitably, one of his older sisters, Coral, ended up asking an important question. It happened when he was roughly thirteen years of age, reading one of his sister's fashion magazines. It turned out that fashion magazines gave Jaune a lot of ideas on what look he wanted to aim for next. It wasn't very difficult for him to ask one of his sisters to buy him a new outfit set in exchange for a favor or two. The Arc household was not exactly low on spending money, and all of the children in the family received a sizable allowance from their parents. Enough to spend on a couple luxuries with friends, but not enough to purchase anything too expensive and glamorous. Jaune was not willing to risk buying a pricey getup just yet, and settled for cheaper alternatives to what he wanted.

"Jaune, have you ever thought that it would be better being a girl than a boy?"

Silence filled the room as Coral's question hung in the air. After half a minute of nothing, Jaune decided to reply.

"To be honest, it came across my mind once or twice before."

"Only that many times?" Coral raised an eyebrow. "So what do you think?"

Jaune leaned back into the couch as he looked at the white ceiling above him. "To be brief, I thought about it a couple times, but it didn't really end up going anywhere. I'm still pretty happy being a dude, and being a full-on girl didn't really appeal to me all that much. I think I'm just interested in dressing up as a girl as perfectly as possible, and nothing really beyond that."

Coral hummed in curiosity. "Well, I can't say I was expecting this response, but it's good to hear that you already have everything settled by yourself. I have a friend at school who was sort of in your shoes, but she's planning to officially transition once he graduates and becomes an adult. Her parents aren't exactly the understanding type of people like ours, unfortunately." She flipped a page in her own book. "She's pretty grateful that I'm around to give her some girl clothes at school since she can't get any herself without her parents noticing."

"I'm sorry to hear, but I'm glad that you're such a good friend." Jaune stated sincerely. "Who knew that the biggest nerd in our family would be such a caring person for somebody else?"

Coral cuffed him playfully on his ear. "Shut up, as if you're any better. You barely have any friends yourself, and it's not even because you like to wear dresses in private. You're just such an awkward doofus at school."

She was right, in a sense. Jaune was just a normal boy when he was in his school building, but he lacked any sort of social skills for some reason, and that resulted in him barely having any relations outside of his own family.

Lip balm and lipstick, check. Oh, it's the cherry-flavored one today.

As the years passed and Jaune grew older, he continued perfecting his craft of crossdressing. It had basically reached the point where Jaune could easily pass off as another daughter in the Arc family, with no visible imperfections. Even his closet was filled with a vast variety of fanciful ensembles.

One aspect of his body that Jaune was appreciative of was his build. While he was taller than the average male in Remnant, he had a thin and bony frame and his face was fairly soft and round in comparison to his male classmates at school. Even as his body developed, these facets never seemed to change all that much. While this resulted in him paling in comparison to other guys when set side by side, it heavily benefitted his passion of dressing up in feminine apparel and applying makeup.

And now for the finishing touch, the powder.

There was still one goal that Jaune wanted to achieve: becoming a huntsman. Growing up hearing regal tales of his ancestors, he believed that he could contribute to the world while upholding his family legacy as long as he became a huntsman.

However, his father had vehemently disapproved, stating that he was not going to train any of his children to become a huntsman or huntress. When Jaune asked for a reason, he received nothing in return.

As a result of this, he decided to run away from home in the middle of the night when he turned seventeen, the minimum age to apply for a huntsman academy. Even though he had absolutely no training, he took Crocea Mors with him, the family heirloom sword and shield. Through some rough and shady means, he managed to acquire fake transcripts that declared that he had studied at Signal Academy and had the requirements to apply to Beacon. While he was not proud of what he did, Jaune had decided on a path in life and was desperate to see it through all the way.

Unsurprisingly, this resulted in major problems upon entering Beacon, with him barely passing his classes and being absolutely miserable when it came to combat. He had been relentlessly bullied by Cardin Winchester and his team, and was basically down in the ditches until the Forever Fall field trip for first-year students. Only then was he able to deserve his place in the school and make up with his fellow members of Team JNPR. It was an extremely rough process, but he managed to succeed at the end, even if it was by the smallest margins.

It had been a couple of weeks since then, and Jaune had finally fully settled in Beacon. JNPR's sister team, Team RWBY, recently had a rather large bump in the form of Blake Belladonna, but according to Ruby, they had everything under control now and most of their internal conflicts had ceased.

They still had to serve detention with Professor Goodwitch for a week, though. Beacon was forced to pay reparations for RWBY's rather destructive battle at the docks, and Goodwitch was not exactly smiling when the team had returned from the incident, covered in dirt and soot.

Today, the members of RWBY were busy serving Saturday detention with Goodwitch, Pyrrha was in the library writing an essay for Oobleck's History class, and Nora was dragging Ren to the kitchen for pancakes. It was also the fourth time this week that she did so.

Upon noticing that everyone he knew was either gone or busy doing something else, Jaune decided to finally check out his apartment in Vale that he had rented ever since he arrived in Vale for Initiation. It was a very small one-room accommodation, but it served his needs well. The only belongings stored within the room were some very basic necessities, a few of his spare toiletries, and most importantly, the main purpose of continuing to lease the apartment.

His myriad of fashionable outfits and expensive makeup kits.

At this current moment in time, Jaune found himself in the modest abode, putting on the finishing touches of his extensive makeup process. He desired perfection, and he cut no corners when doing so.

Everything looks good to go!

Done with the cosmetics, Jaune cleaned off the top of his vanity table. The makeup table was probably the most expensive piece of furniture in this room, but it was basically required for Jaune's hobby, so he ended up purchasing a fairly pricey but pragmatic table that had built-in lighting and a large reflective mirror.

Moving over to his closet, he took a gander at his choices for the day.

Jaune sighed depressively. "Yeah, forgot that I only got to buy two outfits before I got into Beacon. Guess I'll need to head over to Coco's store again." He mumbled to himself.

Jaune was not able to bring any of his female clothing from home when he fled from the Arc household, and only packed his onesie and a few sets of basic male garments such as T-shirts and pants. He wore his Pumpkin Pete hoodie below his armor and traveled with a pair of old sneakers.

Upon arriving in Vale and procuring an apartment for himself, he quickly pulled out his Scroll to find any nearby clothing stores that he could get something nice from. He was not interested in any extremely high-end shops that specialized in only the most extravagant of finery, but he was also unwilling to get any low-quality mass-produced goods. To his surprise, there was a decent-looking store called Coco's Fashion Emporium located only a two-minute walk away from his complex. According to the numerous reviews, it seemed to be a fairly popular outlet that believed in creating fashionable clothes for an affordable price. Immediately growing a rising interest, Jaune quickly left for the emporium after unpacking a few things and ordering the fantastic vanity table that caught his eye and a medium wooden closet.

On the outside, Coco's Fashion Emporium looked quite fancy, in Jaune's honest opinion. While it was nothing like a prominent Atlesian luxury boutique, it was still much more elegant than Jaune was expecting. When he walked through the doors of the store, he was greeted with the sound of quiet yet upbeat music and dainty lighting.

It was there he met Coco Adel, the owner of the small business named after herself. To his surprise, she was a huntress-in-training, an upcoming second-year at Beacon Academy. According to her, she normally did not need to work outside of Saturdays at the location due to the number of staff members she trusted to keep the store running, but since the new school year had not begun just yet, she felt that it was a good time to check on any problems and get some work in.

She was curious when Jaune asked if she could keep a secret, especially from a stranger she had never seen before, but she nodded anyway. When he had revealed that he was here to get a set of women's clothing for himself, she had raised an eyebrow at him for a second before saying that there were no problems in doing so. Crossdressing was not exactly something unknown to her, and she was even excited for the opportunity to dress him up in her fashion style.

Back then, Jaune was still dead tired from arriving in Vale and still had necessary tasks he needed to complete, so he merely grabbed two basic sets of clothing off of a rack and nodded appreciatively before walking up to the cashier desk. While he did not try them on in the changing room, they were good enough for the short-term.

He promised Coco that he would come back to buy more once he managed to successfully enter Beacon and settle down. She lowered her sunglasses for a moment to peer into Jaune's eyes, before giving a small nod of agreement and letting him leave, although not before she yelled out a quick "don't get your ass beat in Initiation, got it?"

Only now did Jaune finally get some free time to visit once again, and he decided that he would repay Coco's offer by prettying up himself as much as he could, which would also allow for her to dress him up in various getups smoothly.

"Oh yeah, need to put on my corset. Man, this thing is always annoying."

While Jaune might have been a scraggly and fairly thin man, his body shape would still stand out too much without a corset. On one hand, he luckily only required a waist corset, since his body frame was not that wide. On the other hand, putting on even a waist corset was, as Yang would call it, still an absolute bitch to do.

After ten minutes of painstakingly lacing together his corset around his waist, he plucked out a pair of silicone bra inserts and pushed them into a simple padded bra that would give shape to his chest, which was obviously as flat as a cutting board.

Following this step, he removed the leftmost outfit in his closet, a simple blouse and two-piece blazer skirt set combination, and laid it across his small bed. Jaune first slipped on the white popover blouse before putting his arms through the beige blazer jacket. He had already put on a pair of boyshort underwear before he even started his makeup, so he was already done on that front. He was… fairly well-endowed, but the tuck and tape method allowed him to wear women's underwear in spite of it, thankfully. He grabbed the matching beige split hem skirt and quickly donned it around his legs.

To finish off the full ensemble, he took a pair of knee-high black heeled suede boots with side zippers. He had purchased these in a separate shoe store after seeing that they were forty percent off through the window. They fit snugly around his legs and were highly fashionable to boot.

The final step was to put on a wig. Jaune was partial to long hair, whether they be straight, wavy, or curly. It took him some time, but he managed to find an exceptional Mistralian wig shop in downtown Vale, and put in an expensive order for a blonde wig made of real human hair. With real hair, it was possible to style it and use curlers and straighteners, unlike synthetic equivalents. It took some time for the shop to fulfill his request, but he was able to pick it up last weekend and store it in a nice plastic container in his apartment. Some people bought head stands to place their wigs on, but since Jaune was not going to be accessing his apartment daily while he was over at Beacon, it would only gather dust.

Jaune was not expecting an especially long or fancy day out today, but he still wanted to show off a little bit to Coco, so he decided on a clean side-swept hairstyle that left his wavy blonde locks cascading down his right shoulder.

Taking one last meticulous look in his full-sized mirror sitting in a corner of his room, he whistled in appreciation. "Damn, hello beautiful! Guess I didn't get rusty ever since leaving home." Looking back from the reflective surface was a breathtaking blonde woman, ocean-blue eyes glittering in appreciation. The unbuttoned beige blazer and skirt combo made him look absolutely dashing, while the knee-high boots gave him a tight and smart look.

Jaune cleared his throat. "Testing, testing… alright, voice sounds good!" With extensive practice ever since he was a young child, Jaune had the ability to pull off a shockingly authentic feminine voice that even bewildered his sisters with just how convincing it sounded. He regrettably still found himself unable to sing in that voice. It would have been pretty cool to sing a male and female duet song by himself.

With a happy twirl, Jaune picked up a nice and small brown handbag before walking out the door of his apartment. While he might be terrible at combat and social skills, he was still unparalleled in the art of crossdressing, and he would never give it up for anything.

Weiss Schnee was having a decent day for once in her life.

After the mess with the docks, the White Fang and Roman Torchwick, the lives of Team RWBY had been an absolute mess, even if their friendship with Blake had been mended from the event. Professor Goodwitch had made sure to punish them with daily detentions for the entire week on top of several restrictions for any actions outside of the academy.

Today was Saturday, and the girls had been ready to go to their detention session together, when they received a message from Goodwitch on their Scrolls. Supposedly, the professor had suddenly come down with a bad fever, and allowed Team RWBY to have the day off as normal instead of having Professor Oobleck or Port substitute for her position. Although the girls were curious as to why Goodwitch seemed nicer than usual, they decided to not look a gift horse in the mouth and quickly took advantage of their newfound freedom.

While Ruby and Yang were off at an arcade in Vale with Blake taking a visit to a bookstore, Weiss elected to browse for some new casual clothing, as she found that most of the clothes she brought from Atlas were too formal and expensive for her needs. Having heard about the leader of Team CFVY, Coco Adel, owning her own boutique, Weiss chose to travel there for the day.

Walking through the busy streets of Vale without the rest of her team felt oddly relaxing. While she did enjoy the presence of her fellow teammates and their offhand banter, it had been a long time since Weiss could have a day off by her lonesome. She liked her partner, she really did, but the last thing she was looking for today was a Ruby overdose.

Approaching Coco's Fashion Emporium, Weiss took a gander at the exterior and nodded in approval. It definitely had a modern and flashy atmosphere while not feeling too casual or too uptight. Strolling through the entrance, she encountered a greeter employee who quickly gave her a couple of pointers before letting her explore the rest of the store. The boutique was fairly small-scale, but the space was utilized effectively and the offerings were all eye-catching in their arrangements.

Weiss was softly humming to herself as she browsed through a rack of posh white jackets when she heard the front door bell chime, signaling the arrival of a new customer. Eyes glancing above the metal bar of the rack, she saw-

Beautiful.

That was the only word that came to Weiss's mind when she witnessed the incoming client. Dressed in a simple yet elegant beige outfit, the lady radiated an aura of charm. Her wavy blonde locks lightly bounced with each stride, and everything she wore came together in a stylish and contemporary unification. Weiss was a little bit too far to perceive any smaller details, but it was enough to arrive at a highly favorable first impression.

Something about her felt mildly familiar to Weiss, but she could not think of any other time she could have encountered her. Weiss would definitely have remembered ever meeting such a dazzling lady directly. Maybe she had passed by her on the streets once? That was entirely possible.

"Hello sir?" Weiss shook her head out of her daze and paid attention to the conversation by the front door. "Do you know if Coco Adel is here or not? Don't worry, she knows me, even if she's not expecting me."

So the mystery lady knew about Coco? Could she be a fellow fashionista or even a huntress? She was definitely gorgeous enough to look like one. It was basically common knowledge that huntresses tended to be absolute stunners when it came to the looks department. Turns out that Aura was a great way of having flawless skin and perfect features. It seemed to be slightly less effective for males, but even they tended to be more handsome and, of course, more muscular than the common citizen.

"I'll notify her right now, thank you for your cooperation." The greeter gave a brief bow to the mystery lady before touching an earpiece in his right ear and mumbled something, likely a few questions to whoever was on the opposite end.

After what only seemed like a handful of seconds, a thump could be heard behind a door in the middle of the emporium. "Alright, I'm coming! Just let me put this box back where it belongs."

Soon enough, the one and only Coco Adel walked out and into the store proper. Although it sounded as if she had been carrying out manual labor in the back, there were no signs of scuff or dust on her person. She still looked like a supermodel who had just left the dressing room.

I guess this confirms that she actually owns this place. Weiss silently thought to herself. Looks like her reputation isn't just for show. It was extremely rare for a Beacon student to actually own a business. Outside of Coco, Weiss could only think of herself, and even then her status was only as a heiress, although it was for one of the largest companies in all of Remnant.

"Well, hello beautiful! Heard that I'm supposed to know you, but you're not ringing any bells." Coco crossed her arms and lowered her sunglasses an inch. "Wanna give me a hint or two? Or do you want me to kick you out for wasting my time?"

The mystery lady laughed nervously and raised her arm to scratch the back of her head. "Well, remember a few days before Beacon's Initiation for new students? And to quote your own words, 'don't get your ass beat in Initiation, got it?' I'm here to fulfill my end of the bargain."

So the lady was a student at Beacon too? Weiss narrowed her eyes in thought, but nothing came up. There is no world where I would overlook somebody like her. Maybe she simply never came across me somehow? It's been weeks, though.

Gears seemed to turn in Coco's mind for a long moment before her eyes seemed to bulge out of her head. "There is absolutely no fucking way you're who I think you are." Coco's voice seemed to crack in absolute shock.

The mystery lady grinned widely and winked. Weiss felt some heat rising from her neck all of a sudden. Is it just me or is it getting hot in here?

Coco's eyes scrutinized the lady for every possible detail she could take in. "There is absolutely no fucking way." She took two steps forwards before clapping both of her hands on the lady's shoulders before taking in a deep breath.

"There is absolutely no fucking way that you're Jaune Arc."

Time seemed to halt for Weiss as the words passed through her ears and registered in her brain. She could not stop her mouth from opening and letting out a shrill scream in utter disbelief.

"WHAT?"

Author's Note:

I'm taking the Arc family names from Coeur Al'Aran's stuff, since I don't really feel like making up my own for this story. Coeur's Arc family setup is already pretty well thought-out and extensive, so I might as well use it for here.

I'm planning on making this mostly a light-hearted White Knight story. There'll probably be a tiny amount of drama? Maybe a little bit of action too? It's mostly going to revolve around slice-of-life portions and Jaune's crossdressing passion. Sorry if any makeup/clothing terms and methods are incorrect, I'm doing research in the subjects since I've always held an interest in crossdressing, but I've never actually done it myself in real life.

I'm taking some liberties with Jaune. Yeah, he supossedly gets more muscular and buff thanks to Pyrrha's training, but I'm planning on having his body stay scraggly and thin for the most part like the very start of the show when he basically never had training in his life. I'll probably find a way in the story to make him want to switch up his fighting style since, in here, his passion is being the perfect crossdresser, and to him, having too many muscles would be detrimental. Maybe I'll have Ren help him out? Ren is pretty lithe and Jaune could eventually shift to wanting to train more like Ren than Pyrrha.

Also not planning on dragging this out for too long. I tend to suck at actually continuing/finishing writing when I have too much planned out. I won't make the story too short, but it also won't be a super long thing either.
