Ethan Morgan walked into the lotta latte cafe in the mood for some coffee or pastries as he went to speak about his order to someone but he became speechless from seeing none other then Benny Weir who was working behind the counter preparing coffees and baking sweets.

oh my gosh it's him wow his hair and eyes are so wonderful Ethan thought dreamily in his head completely smitten by the boy.

excuse me are you wanting to order something? Benny asked.

Ethan then snapped out of his daze from hearing the boy's voice talk to him oh sorry yes i would like an iced vanilla flavored coffee please and a muffin/pie or cupcakes/donuts Ethan replied as his cheeks turned red from blushing.

ok here you go sir enjoy Benny said as he handed him his order.

Ethan started to pull money out of his pockets and hand it to him but Benny kindly turned down the offer saying there was no need for it as it was free and on the house.

thank you so much Ethan replied smiling.

no problem Benny said waving goodbye to him as Ethan left the building.

time skip

Ethan was at his house now laying in his bed ranting to his friends Sarah Erica and Rory about how he had a crush on Benny and how he wanted to date him so his friends knowing he was gay for years just told him that he should ask him out but Ethan was too shy though but he took the advice anyway as he ended the call with them.

weeks later

Ethan was at the park in the garden enjoying and smelling the flowers when Benny came up to him.

the flowers are so pretty don't you think? Benny said as he admired them.

not as pretty as the sound of your voice Ethan thought.

hello? Benny asked waiting for a reply from the other boy but Ethan just stared at him getting lost in his eyes.

Benny waved his hand in front of Ethan's face which caused the boy to finally snap out of it.

Ethan not saying anything just stood up and completely bolted from the park as Benny stood there looking confused and lost.

the next day back at the cafe Ethan sat in a chair at a table staring in Benny's direction as the green eyed dark haired boy was taking orders from other customers.

maybe i should try to impress or woo him so he'll go out with me Ethan thought.

the boy then stood up and walked over to the front counter to try and talk to Benny once more hey nice to see you again do you want your normal order? Benny asked him but even from something simple like hearing Benny's voice again made Ethan freeze feeling shy like crazy as his mind went blank as he ran out of the cafe.

gosh i hope he's alright Benny thought worriedly as he watched Ethan leave.

Ethan was really frustrated with himself as he stood outside of the coffee house WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME WHY CAN"T I JUST SPEAK TO HIM AND ASK HIM OUT LIKE A NORMAL PERSON Ethan said angrily to himself as he kicked a rock on the street he was walking on with his shoe.

man it's hopeless im never gonna be able to ask him out on a date because im too much of a chicken geek nerd and loser all in one Ethan said in his head.

wait i got it i'll sweep him off his feet with romantic gestures he'll then surely want to on a date with me Ethan said happily to himself feeling satisfied with his plan he started to get to work on it at home.

it wasn't long before the boy had roses and had even written a poem about how he thought Benny's eyes shined like lightsabers.

suddenly Ethan's phone rang so he answered it hello? he asked into the phone.

hi Ethan how is it going have you asked the guy out yet? Sarah asked.

no i haven't because im really scared to i mean what if he's not interested or even into guys for that matter i can't risk it and get my heart broken cause im in love with me Ethan admitted.

well you have been pining after him for years even before he started having a job at the lotta latte cafe Sarah replied.

so what should i do? Ethan asked feeling lost.

just be yourself Sarah suggested.

really that's all you could come up with for me? Ethan said with sarcasm.

sorry that's all i got Sarah replied.

months later

Ethan walked into the cafe again on a rainy day and went back over to his usual table he looked over towards the front counter but noticed that Benny wasn't there feeling saddened he started to walk towards the door again but stopped in his tracks when he saw Benny clock in.

perfect now's my chance Ethan thought to himself as he walked over to the boy who was currently mopping the floor of the cafe.

Ethan tapped him on the shoulder and Benny turned over smiling at him once he saw that it was him.

hey are you doing better? cause you've been acting pretty strange and quiet lately Benny replied looking at him with a worried look.

oh um yes sorry it's just... i kind of wanted to ask you something Ethan said shyly.

ok sure go ahead Benny replied.

well i was wondering if maybe you wanted to... Ethan began but got cut off when the popular mean boy from school Kurt Lockner walked into the building.

hey dork you made me look bad when you beat me in a wrestling match a couple years back so i think now it's time to make you look like a clown so everybody listen up Morgan here is gay and has a collection of comic books action figures and likes star wars how lame is that Kurt said laughing along with the crowd as well making Ethan's face turn red.

yeah he even has spaceship boxers and a pokemon lunchbox too Kurt said making the crowd of people laugh harder much to Ethan's embarrassment.

hey im gay too so knock it off Kurt it's not funny and why don't you pick on someone your own size Benny said bravely.

Ethan was shocked by he couldn't believe that Benny was standing up for him not wanting things to get worst Ethan stood his ground against the bully before him.

hey Kurt i challenge you to another wrestling match outside Ethan said.

game on Morgan Kurt said as he went outside and Ethan followed him out into the heavy rain as it was downpouring now.

a few minutes later

Ethan and Kurt were circling each other before Kurt easily picked the boy up and threw him on the ground before shoving and pushing him into a wet mud puddle.

yes i win Kurt said in victory as the crowd of people gave him hi fives before laughing and pointing at Ethan before Kurt and the other people walked away leaving Ethan all by himself and alone.

Ethan frowned looking down in shame before he looked up and saw that a person's hand was held out in front of him it was Benny.

Ethan smiled softly as Benny helped him up.

are you ok? Benny asked with worry.

yeah Ethan replied nodding his head.

i hate that Kurt hurt you that wasn't right at all Benny said with anger in his voice.

it's fine im used to people making fun of me and bullying me it's kind of normal Ethan replied truthfully Benny just shook his head at this clearly not on the same page as Ethan was on the matter.

anyway i just wanted to give you these roses and this poem Ethan said as he handed Benny the flowers and poem Benny then started to read the poem and once he got done he smiled at Ethan.

this is the nicest thing anybody's ever done for me i love it thank you and do you really think my eyes shine like lightsabers? Benny said.

yes Ethan replied blushing.

Benny laughed well i appreciate the compliment and i adore the roses their my favorite flowers simply from my mom liking them when she was still alive and around that is Benny said.

oh im sorry for your loss Ethan replied.

it's alright Benny said.

so do you wanna go out with me? Ethan asked.

yes Benny replied simply.

also for the record i love comic books action figures and star wars too so you're not alone in liking them cause i think they're pretty cool Benny said proudly as Ethan smiled.

i can tell we're gonna be a good match together Ethan said happily as Benny agreed with him.
