Jeff had an idea. Of course, Jeff had had many ideas in his life, and most of them seemed to blow up in his face. The whole reason he'd gone to Greendale Community College in the first place was one of his most spectacular bad ideas. (He actually wouldn't change his life for a thing now though, not that he would ever admit it to anyone.)

He blinked owlishly as his mind snapped from its droning monologue. He focused in on the situation they were in. Trapped underground in a computer lab with a mentally ill millionaire who made love to robots. In any other situation he would desperately be wishing for a nice glass of scotch but this time he felt a strange dread creep over him as he stared at the group again.

"Give me that." Jeff blurted out with his mind barely registering the words he said. As all eyes turned on him he felt his face getting warmer before hastily grabbing at the strange helmet Russell had given him. He glanced up at the group before he steeled his nerves and prepared for what he was about to do.

"Everybody over there. Turn around. Turn around now." He said impatiently while desperately trying to mask his embarrassment. He was Jeff Winger damnit! He was not supposed to be the one to make a door open from pure passion. He watched as everyone seemed to shrug and comply, not really having any better ideas.

'This is for the school. This is for the school.' He continued to chant in his mind. His shaky hands grabbed the strange clunky knobs on the side before lifting it and putting it securely on his head. Still in denial, he started from the left and looked at the dean first.

"You're here to save me aren't you?" He heard echo through his head. Jeff curled his lips upwards in distaste as he remembered the uncomfortable greeting the dean had given him during the first paintball game. He stifled a shudder and looked at the unmoving door for confirmation. His piercing gaze shifted to Britta.

"Let's get out of here and never look back." Jeff sighed; partially in guilt, and partially in longing. Deep down he knew he would never love Britta, and neither would she. Marriage was nothing but proof of his own cowardice, and after this was done he promised to apologize. Maybe. He couldn't help but crack a tiny smile knowing that she was indirectly the catalyst to bringing the group he loved so much together. He still frowned slightly as the door did nothing in his peripheral vision. His head snapped to Abed next.

"Jeff, in case you ever have to remember me, can I give you some options for voice-over quotes?" He felt a rush of affection surge through him as Abed's voice was being played in his head. He and Abed had become closer then he ever thought they would after many years and Greendale. He considered him to be one of his best friends and he knew Abed thought the same. His pleasant thoughts were cut short as he realized the door STILL hadn't opened and he had to finally face the music.. His timid gaze finally rested on Annie.

For the other 3, Jeff had mainly been musing thoughtfully in the comfort of his own head. The shared moments had come and went while he simply looked on them and smiled. With Annie, everything in his mind seemed to focus on her. His breath caught in his throat as a simple back and forth seemed to flood his mind against his will. "Milady. Milord." And some how just like that the door opened immediately upon recolection.

'Of course. Of course it was her.' Jeff thought to himself. It could only have ever been her. A surge of repressed and half buried feelings rushed through Jeff like a tsunami. As if in a trance, Jeff continued to stare at her intently as she turned around, still lost in his own thoughts. Even in crumpled clothes due to walking through a strange and abandoned hallway, Annie was still the most beautiful person he had ever seen in the world.

A second later he found himself staring in to her beautiful doe eyes as she looked at him with realization dawning on her face. Jeff looked away quickly, but this was quickly overshadowed by a chorus of cheers erupting from the group looking at the open doorway. "What did you do?" Asked Russell, looking almost shocked at someone having more passion then him getting his nipples rubbed.

"Don't worry about it. Lets go." Jeff deflected a little forcefully. Everyone shrugged it off and quickly headed through the door as Jeff stayed for a moment to collect his thoughts. "So... what DID you think about Jeff?" A voice asked teasingly as Jeff snapped his head up to look at Annie standing next to him.

"Oh um nothing! You know just the group and stu-" Jeff was cut off as Annie rolled her eyes and pulled him down to kiss him passionately. Jeff's mind went blank as the recently unearthed feelings were roaring in his ears with a white hot passion as he reciprocated earnestly. Her lips broke away from his after a few seconds and she stared up at him while smiling sweetly.

"Come on, Greendale isn't gonna save itself." She says breathlessly before her attention moves to the recently opened doorway. She walks quickly to the door before stopping and looking back at Jeff. "I'm glad you chose right... Milord." She says before running to join the others.

Jeff grins stupidly before going to join his lady.
