A/N: I've always thought Isabela and Alyssa(dream role) were similar, so it's time I bring them together.

Isabela was eighteen when she delivered a baby girl. Her baby girl was beautiful. However, Isabela knew she couldn't keep her. Her Abuela had been planning her life since she was a young girl. A baby out of wedlock from a stranger at a party wasn't a part of the plan. Isabela was only supposed to have Mariano Guzmán's babies.

"She's beautiful," Julieta said. To keep everything lowkey, Isabela had to give birth in the Casita. Julieta was the only midwife she was allowed. "Do you want to hold her?"

"No," Isabela responded. She couldn't even look at the baby. If she looked at the child, she would get connected to her. Then there was no way Isabela could let her go. "Bring in Mrs. and Mrs. Nollan-Green."

Julieta sighed, opening the door to her bedroom. Alyssa and Emma Nollan-Green entered the bedroom. Isabela had only met them a handful of times over call. Abuela wanted the couple who adopted the baby to live outside of Encanto. If the baby didn't know the Encanto existed, then there was no way she would find her birth mother.

"Hey, Isa," Alyssa greeted. "It's nice to meet you in person."

"Likewise," Isabela responded. She sat up on the stretcher she was laid on. Julieta reluctantly handed off the baby to Emma.

"She's perfect," Emma stated. "We're naming her Grace after my grandma."

"That's a lovely name," Julieta sighed.

"Our plane home doesn't leave till tomorrow if you want to say goodbye," Alyssa told Isabela.

"You need to leave now," Julieta said apologetically. "My mamá wants you out immediately. She doesn't want the villagers to get any ideas. I wish you could stay too. I wish to get to know the people who adopted my grand- the baby my daughter gave birth to."

"Maybe another time," Alyssa said. The baby started to cry in Emma's arms.

"She's probably hungry," Julieta responded.

"I'm going to step out to feed her," Emma said. With that, Emma and the baby were gone. Alyssa turned her attention to Isabela.

"I should get going," Alyssa responded.

"Take care of her," Isabela requested.

"Of course, we will," Alyssa said.

"I didn't originally want to give her up, but what my Abuela says goes," Isabela said.

"You need to stick up yourself," Alyssa responded. "I was where you were ten years ago. I didn't have a baby, but I did something that made my mom mad. If I just did what she said, I wouldn't be happily married to my wife. If you want, we can keep in touch. I'll send you photos of Grace through as she grows."

"No," Isabela sighed. "I just need to forget this happened."

"Okay," Alyssa sighed. The married couple left the Casita. Isabela laid back down. She would only get a day of rest before she had to go back to her chores. The Encanto needed their Señorita Perfecta. Maybe one day I can be free, Alyssa. It just can't be today.
