(This is Steve with Peter resting on his shoulder.)
It was Friday night at Avenger's Tower, which always meant movie night. And when there's movie night, there's always chaos. From fighting about what movie to watch or just bickering about what the movie is about, it always ended in some sort of wrecked battlefield. To solve that, Tony was making a master plan; inviting his personal intern Peter Parker.
Peter Parker is a funny, bright, talkative sophomore in high school who spends a lot of time with Tony in the lab. Tony had started to see him than more than just his protégé, like a son. He had offered an actual internship to Peter after the whole recruitment thing with Spider-Man. Ever since Peter had entered his life, Tony strived to be better by not drinking, better sleep habits, and so much more.
So to say the least, he was excited.
Underoos
: Hey kid, when u swing by on Friday, do u want to stay to watch a movie with the rest of the team?
Underoos: Sure Mister Stark! I just have to ask May
: Don't worry, I already asked your aunt and she said she was fine with it.
Underoos: Oh okay. I guess I'll see you this Friday!
: Yup. Cya kid.
Tony turned off his phone with a smile plastered on his face.
He then took the elevator up to the common room where most of the team was situated, minusing Cap.
"Hey Tony." Bruce said looking from his book on the large couch.
"What's with the smile? It's sort of rare to see you like this." Natasha asked with a raised eyebrow. She was at the table doing god knows what.
"Oh it's nothing. Just my intern joining us for movie night."
"Is it Peter?" Clint asked from the kitchen before walking out of the room.
"Yeah."
(They had seen Peter a few times coming get snacks or coffee for Tony.)
"Why don't we let Peter choose the movie, so it doesn't end with someone getting punched." asked Bruce
"He's going to pick Star Wars. He can't stop rambling about it no matter how many times I try to change the subject." Tony couldn't help but smirk at the thought of it.
"Well he definitely has his priorities straight." Bruce replied before returning his attention to his book.

Later that day at the Rogers' Apartment
Peter had just finished his AP Chemistry packet when he heard the front door unlock.
"Pa?" he asked from his desk
"Yeah it's me Pete."
He went to hug him, like usual. He wrapped his arms tightly around the man, which he returned and gently kissed his son's curls.
"How was school?" his Pa asked pulling away and walking over to the kitchen.
"Like the usual."
"Finished your homework?" Pa questioned as he sat down next to him on the couch
"Yup" he said, popping the "p"
"Great, I thinking about watching something tonight. Any ideas?"
"Maybe Avatar? We left off where they reached the Northern Water Tribe."
"Sure, I liked that show anyway."
Peter always loved nights like these, spending time with his Papa, binge watching shows he's seen time and time before.
It's always just been him and his Pa. Peter was adopted when he was 6, after his parents died in plane crash.
He then turned on the TV, pressing on Netflix to watch. He then curled up against his father's side and placed his head on his chest. His Pa in return wrapped one arm around his son's head and together watched Aang practice his waterbending. They both drifted off to sleep after four episodes.
—
Friday rolled around quickly. Peter was sitting through English, probably the most boring class of his schedule. At least it was the period of the day. When the bell rang, he almost sprinted out of the classroom.
"Hey man, wanna hang out after?" Ned asked, approaching him from behind.
"Sorry man, I'm going to the tower to watch a movie with the team." he replied
"Wait. What!?" Ned practically shouted, good thing no one really paid any attention. He said in a whisper-yell "with t-the Avengers?!"
"Yeah, I gotta go now, Happy's waiting for me." He waved to Ned who looked starstruck.
He left the building and saw a black car with black tinted windows pull up. He pulled open the door and sat in the backseat.
"Hey kid." he almost sounded annoyed. But Peter knows he has a soft spot for him.
"Hey Mr. Happy! I'm so excited!" He said in a ecstatic tone
"What now?" Happy groaned
"We're watching a movie!"
"Cool kid. Now please, I'm trying to focus on the road."
They rode in a silence (ikr shocking :o) for the rest of the ride. When they got there, he thanked Happy and entered the elevator taking him to the living room.
When he got up there, Mr. Stark noticed him first.
"There's my favorite intern! Cmon, we're almost about to start." he said wrapping an arm around Peter.
When they got there, Peter immediately froze, as he saw his dad sitting down on the couch.
Shoot! How did I forget to tell Pa about coming over?
Everyone seemed to notice he was staring at the one and only Captain America.
"Fanboying, kid?" Mr. Stark asked in a joking tone
"u-uh-uh y-yeah. mhmm." He mumbled back.
His Pa finally seemed to notice him, looking over smiling at him.
No one in this room knew that he was the son of Captain America. They had used the whole story of Peter living with May and that she was his Aunt.
Tony led Peter to sit down on the couch, out of all places, next to his Pa.
"So Pete, since you're the guest, you can choose the movie." Mr. Stark told him.
"uhm, how about Star Wars?" he mumbled
"I told y'all so." Tony said smirking
"You heard him Fri?"
"Yes boss." she replied with her robotic voice.
The TV in front of them started playing A New Hope.
Everyone then settled in to watch.
(Tony)
Tony was… jealous? No. He couldn't be. Right? Seeing the kid look at Cap with wide eyes made him, okay, a tiny bit jealous. He thought he was his favorite super hero! He was his mentor! How could he not? His ego has been hit hard.
-
Seemingly at the end of the movie, when the end credits rolled, everyone was peeling their eyes off the screen. They were all tired from the long day. Tony checked the time when it lit back at him 7:32 p.m. His aunt said he had to be back by 8.
"Hey Pete? We should probab-" he said before cutting himself when he looked at the sight before him.
Peter literally sleeping under Captain America's arm.
The Captain had his arm around Peter like a protective bear, while Peter was curled into the man's chest.
Everyone else seemed to notice too, staring at the sight with wide eyes.
Clint broke the silence. "Okay, what the actual fuck?"
"Language." Steve mumbled in his sleep.
That seemed to wake Peter up. "hm. Is the movie over?" He asked groggily.
Steve woke up too, still holding Peter.
"Why- why are you guys staring?" the soldier asked
"Why are you guys like- you know? Cuddling?" Nat asked. Sam raised his eyebrow while Bucky just continued staring.
"Peter's my son." Steve said nonchalantly before carrying Peter over his shoulder, allowing him to continue sleeping. He walked to the elevator, disappearing from everyone's view.
"Well shit." Clint broke the silence once again.
Okay. Jealousy was overflowing from Tony now.
—
Steve had gotten to his car, putting Peter in the backseat before driving home. When they arrived, he carried him to his bedroom and tucked him in. He might be a little old, but he was asleep anyways.
"They found out, right?" Peter said quietly, Steve wouldn't have heard it without his super-hearing.
"Yeah bud. But they were going to find out sooner or later." He leaned down and kissed Peter on his forehead.
"I wonder how Mister Stark is right now."
"Who knows?" Tony had stared at him when he left.
"Alright, get some sleep bud." He kissed Peter again and left the room, closing the door.
He smiled at the thought of how lucky he was.
