The smell of tobacco and cigarettes filled Leo's nostrils. He scrunched up his face as he woke up in a cold sweat. He looked around and saw that he was in his spare room. "Hey Kid? You up yet? We're gonna be late for the museum of nuts and bolts." He heard Aunt Hildegard's croaky voice. He sighed. "I knew it, it was just a big dream" He said as he rolled out of bed. He walked to the kitchen, and a rancid smell made Leo gag. "Good, you're awake. Here's breakfast." Hildegard said, putting some...rather indescribable food onto his plate. It was Grey, looked like mushy slime made from mashed potatoes, and had the smell of rotting garbage...

Leo fought the urge to throw up "Um...Aunt Hildegard? What is this?" He asked. Hildegard smiled, her rotting teeth practically cracking "It's oatmeal, Hildy style" She said, as if she was actually proud of the monstrosity. Leo gave a terrified look. "Can I NOT eat it Hildy Style?" He asked. Hildegard glared at him "You saying something about my cooking?" She growled. Leo rapidly shook his head "No! No...I uh...just feel that it's too...good for the world?" He asked. Hildegard just rolled her eyes "Well, eat up and get dressed, we don't wanna be late for the first day." She said.

Leo had a strange sense of Déjà Vu...he had heard that phrase before, but from what? School? A show? A appointment? Leo shook his head and stared at the disgusting blob in front of, that for some reason began to...smell like pancakes? "What? But stuff like this doesn't smell like pancakes..." He said, before it morphed into the face of the sun "C'mon new Camper! It's time to rise and Shine!" It said to him. Leo jumped back and threw the plate out the window (which unfortunately fell on top of a dog walker) he felt his body shiver "I-I'm gonna go and change now..." He called out to Aunt Hildegard "OK Champ! Take as much time as you need." She said, her voice sounding a lot more young than it should.

Leo ran to his room and locked the door. He backed away from it. There was no way that the camp was real...right? Leo felt mechanical hands wrap around his waist before a menagerie of voices began crowding him shouting and yelling and screaming. He tries to block them out, but it was no good, they just seemed to get louder and louder the more he tries. Suddenly, the floor begins to swallow him up as the voices yell out 3 words to the boy.

"WAKE UP LEO!"

The blonde haired boy woke up in a cold sweat. He looked around, and saw that he was no longer in Hildegard's smoky apartment, but in a bed that was 10 times bigger than him. He looked off of some music note shaped railing, and saw that he was at least 7 stories up from the ground. He looked outside of a window and saw a large forest, filled with colorful flowers and twisting trees. Children with powers played below him as he saw a purple jester soar through the air...

Leo gaped as he stared out the window. It wasn't a dream...it was all real...and he was still there...
