Leo sighed as he came to the arcade, the sounds of games tokens and kids playing hit him with a wave of nostalgia. He and Mason had to stop by Mason's house so he could drop his boombox off (and keep it away from 'prying hands' as Mason put it) The two boys grabbed some tokens and began multiple games. Leo went to play Dance Dance revolution, while Mason tried a ball dropping game. The two of them then duked it out in Skeeball, BasketBall and air hockey.
After a while, the two of them had a lot of tickets, and a few tokens left "Hey! Let's play Alien Blaster!" Leo suggested. Mason pumped a fist in the air as they fed their tokens to the machine. The screen then lit up with as it told the back story of a hostile ailen fleet trying to take over the world, and that they were humanity's one and only hope they had left.
The two of them blasted the various aliens, robots, monsters, anything that dared to stand in their way. Leo got a few tentacled aliens while Mason shot a alien with multiple eyes. "Crusher Bot at 2:00!" Leo shouted "I'm on it!" Mason replied, firing a few blasts at the red eyed robot. It blew up on screen as the two boys high fived each other. "Yes!! We're gonna beat the final boss!" Mason cheered. Leo smiled as he gazed out as the final boss loaded, but he almost dropped his gun at what he was witnessing. Half of the campers were now playing games in the arcade, and Counselors Sundrop and Moondrop were watching them.
Leo turned Pale and turned to Mason "Hey man, you wanna switch places?" He asked quickly, his voice getting high pitched. Mason raised an eyebrow at the sudden change in Leo's voice "Um...sure?" He said uncertainly as the two boys traded their shooting positions. The screen lit back up as the mother ship glowed on screen, and the alien king screeching on screen. "Lock and Load." Mason said as the two of them shot like crazy at the king alien. However, Leo's attention kept diverting to see it Sundrop had noticed them, and kept turning towards the sides of the arcade cabinet. The alien king let out a roar as it released its final form
"C'mon Leo! Head in the game!" Mason shouted, going rapid fire on the many alien eggs on screen. Leo tried to concentrate, but it was no use! He felt paranoia, that sunny bot could be back any second! His character got eaten by the alien king, and he didn't have any tokens left "NO!! Don't worry man! I'll avenge you!!" Mason shouted, Shooting at the alien's heart. Leo nodded as he hid behind the cabinet, just as Moondrop peeked his head in. Mason looked at him with a Creeped out expression, only to realize he couldn't see past him "Move Man! I can't see!" He yelled, unable to see where to shoot. "Sorry..." Moondrop said as he moved out of the way.
The alien's head exploded and the mother ship was blown to smithereens "YES!! We did it! The mother ship is dead, we saved the earth." Mason sang as he danced. Leo went back in and Mason high-fived him "Cmon man put in your name! We're gonna go down in history!!" He cheered as two hogh scores appeared. Leo typed his name while Mason put in the initials M.A.S."
OK, Let's go." Leo said, pulling Mason out of the cabinet. "Wait Leo! We forgot to submit it!" He yelled as they ran to the exit. Sundrop and Moondrop could have sworn for a second they heard the name Leo...Sundrop looked inside of the Alien Blaster cabinet, and saw two names at the top of the leadership board, and while it could be a coincidence...one of them was "LEO"...
