SunDrop and MoonDrop reported to the Counselors "We think Leo was there, There was a game cabinet with Leo and another kid's initials." Sundrop explained. Mayday scratched her head "Are you sure? It could have been a shortened version of another name." She said. Balan walked over and raised his fingers to his mouth. A small cloud of golden dust revealed a bunch of footprints and finger prints...Leo's to be exact. "You were right, He was here." Balan said. He waved his hand and more footprints appeared, leading to the exit "And he's close..."
Meanwhile, In the Timeville Mall...
Leo and Mason were currently looking through the various rows of music. "Hey Leo look! It's a new album drop!" Mason yelled. The two of them played the song and found themselves currently wanting to get it. However, when the two of them were standing in line, it only took Leo spotting Balan, NiGHTS and Lance in the reflection of a mall window to make hin duck into another store...specifically, one that sells goods for CHESS."
Leo? Leo? Where did you go?" Mason called, catching the attention of Lance. The dark Counselor however, said nothing, as he wanted to make sure that he was talking about the same boy. Mason was unaware that he was being watched as he looked inside of the same store Leo went into "Um...what are you doing in here?" He asked to his friend, who was shaking a LOT for some reason
"I...Uh...got curious?" Leo said uncertainly. He looked from behind Mason, and saw that the Counselors were gone. He let out a sigh of relief before he and Mason left "Sorry Mas...I just thought I saw something. " Leo apologized. Mason gazed at Leo. His best friend in the world was acting off...Was something wrong? "How about we go get some pizza?" He asked, he always got cuckoo on an empty stomach. Leo nodded as the two of them left the mall...but Mason couldn't shake the feeling that Leo wasn't telling him something...
