Mason shot out of bed in a flash, he had the weirdest dream in the world...he dreamt up that Leo had become a camper in a magic camp from another world, filled with the strangest Counselors imaginable, odd little creatures, and making a promise that he would write to Leo.
"Mason! C'mon! It's time to get up!" He heard his mom call. The boy hopped out of bed and went to greet his parents "Morning Mom, Morning Dad." He said, taking a seat so he would get some breakfast "Morning Son, you slept for a long time today" his father said, pointing towards a clock while still looking at his newspaper. Mason saw that the clock read 11:32, which was MUCH later than he usually slept. "Sorry Dad, I just had a strange dream last night...it felt so real..." Mason explained, chowing down on bacon and eggs.
Mason's mom pulled something from underneath the table "Mason honey, you got something in the mail this morning, when you were still asleep." She said. Mason saw that it was a envelope with his name on it, and a stamp with a drop shaped crystal on it.
After Mason finished eating, he went back to his room and opened the letter:
To Mason...
Hey Man! I know you won't remember what happened yesterday, but the good news is that Balan is letting me send out letters to home! I hope that you're alright, since I don't exactly know how one getting their memories wiped feels like, but I think I would like to not find out unless I need it. Well, since it's gonna be a while until I come back, I might as well make the most of it, and give it a shot like you said. Anyways, I better get going, it's almost time for bed and Counselor Moondrop is terrifying. I'll see you soonAlways grooving, your pal Leo.
Mason felt something come back to him while reading the note...it felt like a distant memory, but he feels as if he remembered something... he was about to toss the envelope when he saw something at the back of the letter
P.S.
Balan sends this as a way for me to receive letters from you.
The boy looked confused until he felt...a pole? He pulled out a mailbox decorated in gold glitter from the envelope. "Whoa...how is that possible?" He asked himself. But he wanted to see of it work for him as well. He looked for a pen and a piece of paper, and quickly got to work...
