The next morning, Leo woke up a little later than usual. He didn't want a repeat of yesterday, so he decided to sleep a little extra longer than usual. 'I wonder if Mason got the letter...or of Balan just said that to keep me from trying to leave camp.' He thought as he made his way to the mess hall. Children slowly pooled in to get some breakfast, while he sat away as far away from Saltbaker as possible. Just then, Sundrop burst into the mess hall, a bag over his shoulder.

"MAIL CALL!! IT'S MAIL CALL TIME EVERYONE!!"

He yelled. A few of the Tims came and gave a few of the campers some letters, magazines, packages and more. Sundrop then walked over to Leo, a letter in his hand "Here ya go Sunspot! It's for you!" He said. Leo carefully took the letter from the mechanical counselor. His eyes widened when he saw his name on the envelope "Mason's handwriting...it's from Mason!" He cheered.

Leo finished his breakfast as quickly as possible before running to a shaded part of the woods. He carefully opened the note.

To Leo.

Hey Leo! How's it going back at Camp? I somewhat remember what happened yesterday, but not all of it. It all sounded like some kind of crazy dream. I really hope that you give it a chance, a magical summer camp sounds awesome! I'd trade places with you if I could, but something tells me that I couldn't if I tried. You came to that camp for a reason, I don't know why, but it's for a reason. Although it's gonna be a long summer, Just know that you have someone waiting for you on the other side! And hey, who knows? Maybe you might end up liking it there!

Never stop Dancing, Your Pal, Mason Bennett.

Leo could feel his smile getting bigger as he read the letter. He wiped a few tears of joy that dripped from his eyes, until he small a small arrow near the end. He flipped over the note and saw.

P.S.

Even though we didn't get to eat our pizza together past night, I tried some. MAN that Chef at the camp can cook! It's so good! PLEASE smuggle me back some food from him!"

Leo chuckled at the little P.S. Sure he was stuck there for a bit longer than he thought, but now that he knew that he could talk to Mason, he was glad he had some connection to the outside world...and maybe this camp might not be so bad after all...
