Nowhere to be found. Her abode was quiet and empty, her office was devoid of life and nobody, not even her soldiers, had seen her today. Only two places left : her old house where her family have been buried and her secret spot she uses when she wants to dance alone.

As she was climbing the hill the fox could see how beautiful Ionia was at this time of the year. No more conflict, no more war, just a peaceful place where nature had healed and was showing off its magnificent beauty. But something was missing for this scenery to be perfect and that was her lover that she so desperately sought all day.

She woke up feeling lonely and in desperate need of cuddling so she made her way toward her lover's home but no one was there and she made her way through Ionia to find her.

Now she knew that something was off. Her lover usually danced at her secret spot and this late whenever something was wrong. It made her heart clench.

Finally she finished climbing up the hill and sure enough she was sitting near a beautiful cherry blossom tree, her legs dangling off the edge, her back resting against the ground as she looked up at the starry sky. ''Finally found you. You were harder to find than a peaceful man in Noxus'' she said, trying to catch her lover's attention. A laugh was the answer that came, up a sweet giggle that made her heart melt ''have you ever tried to find a peaceful noxian ?'' Her lover inquired, her eyes still locked on the stars above. ''No it would be the same as finding a non corrupted Piltover noble or a bar without a fight in Bilgewater'' she deadpanned ''What's wrong ?'' The fox asked as she took a seat next to her lover.

''Do you ever look at the sky and feel as if your existence doesn't matter ?'' The fox curled a brow and gave out a groan ''are we about to talk philosophy Miss Xan ?'' She asked teasingly ''I'm serious Ahri'' The dancer deadpanned ''It's easy to get overwhelmed when you look at such scenery. However I don't think that feeling useless and lost in a vast glittery ocean is healthy. It's logical but it's not healthy,'' the fox answered. ''Tell me something. How did you feel when you found the home of your ancestors ?'' The dancer asked once more ''I felt many things : happiness for finally finding my home and family, then I felt regret because I never met any of them. It felt unfair. Then I felt sadness when I reconnected with my memories seeing my first lover again as if I didn't claim his life was terrible. He forgave me but it still felt like there was a hole in my chest.'' She said and her lover turned her head to look at the fox with a mixture of pain and pity ''Luckily I met a stuck up, unfunny, headstrong captain and she filled the hole'' the dancer pinched her nose ''I have a great sense of humor thank you very much'' the fox laughed ''I feel like my life is a mess. I'm the captain of the rebellion, people even say I'm their hope for a better future, some even sing my tale as if I died and was an old legend. It's heavy Ahri… when I look at you I see the freedom I sought for so long'' she paused ''I also feel self conscious because of your beauty and charms''

Ahri giggled ''Why thank you miss Xan. Though I feel like you overestimate me and underestimate yourself. So many ionians ogling your ass as if it was a well cooked steak and you got the tits too just look at you you're the perfect sex symbol and they can't fuck you like I do… such a pity'' The dancer looked at her lover with an annoyed face ''we had a moment and you ruined it by being horny'' silence fell as they looked at each other dead in the eyes.

Then a burst of laughter resonated in the night ''I needed this Ahri thanks'' she said now holding the fox hand in hers ''You need to take your life one day at a time Irelia. The road is long but you'll get nowhere if you try to think too much about which path is the best. A trip without a bumpy road is just boring.'' Ahri said ''Yeah you're right. I hope you'll walk this road with me ?'' She asked ''Of course I'm not losing you ever''

Irelia cupped the face of her fox lover and tenderly pushed her lips to meet hers. The kiss wasn't the usual heated dance of lust, it was just a tender loving kiss between two women whose hearts call out for each other.

Ahri did try to get naughty but Irelia just giggled and pushed her roaming hand away making the fox pout ''let's just cuddle and watch the stars'' The dancer said ''Yeah let's do that'' the fox agreed.

No matter what life threw at them, no matter the hardships they would stick together. Irelia wasn't alone and Ahri wasn't an outsider no more.
