One Shot #001: Redhead Beauty

It was the end of another school day, and Heather was sitting at the table with Velvet, reading quietly. "It's really fun to read books, isn't it, Velvet?" Heather smiled to her teddy.

Heather then made her teddy bear nod its head. "Glad you agree..." she said before sighing happily "I wonder where Charlie is..."

Heather made her teddy bear shrug. "I hope he loves my new shirt. Kathy's mom picked it out for me." Heather smiled. "And I believe these pigtails brighten up my cuteness."

She couldn't help but giggle heartily before yawning so cutely.

"I hope he gets here soon, all this waiting is boring me..." Heather said, looking at the clock out of boredom.

She then grabbed Velvet and headed towards the naptime mat where Carmel was laying. "I hope you're doing well, Carmel..." Heather smiled sleepily.

Heather sighed and made Caramel whisper something to her "No, I haven't seen Charlie yet either" she said before putting up a sign she made that read "DON'T BOTHER ME UNLESS YOU'RE CHARLIE BROWN (I'M WAITING FOR HIM)". "I wonder where he is, too" Heather told her teddy bears with a sleepy yawn.

Heather (sleepily):

I love you

You love me

We're as happy as can be

With a great big hug and a kiss from me to you

Won you say you (yawns) love me too

She then fell asleep while cuddling her teddy bears with that oh so cute smile of hers.

A few moments later, Lucy came into the classroom, looking for something. "Where did Min put her crayons?" Lucy asked herself before seeing Heather asleep. "I better be quiet..."

Lucy then began to look around the classroom and even checked under the table when she hit her head "OUCH!" Lucy shouted, momentarily waking Heather. Lucy then gulped and covered her mouth "Lucy Van Pelt, you blockhead, that was close!" she told herself.

Heather then went back to sleep as Lucy found the box of crayons and smiled to herself. As she tiptoed towards the door, she got another look at the napping Heather. "Wow...no wonder that blockhead Charlie Brown likes her so much..." Lucy whispered to herself, before smiling playfully.

"Oh Charlie…you're such a gentleman…" Heather giggled in her sleep, making Lucy smile warmly. "I don't want any boy in the world, not even Schroeder, Linus, or Michael…just you, dearheart…" she then nuzzled her teddy bears again in her sleep.

Lucy then pulled out a pink binky that she used to have when she was a baby. "It's a really good thing I keep memories close to my heart. This will make her look both cute and silly..." Lucy laughed quietly.

Lucy then chuckled to herself. "Besides, it takes a lot to make Heather upset. She'll most likely find it funny and not blow a fuse." She narrated, unaware of Snoopy tiptoeing up behind Lucy. "There we go..." Lucy cooed.

Snoopy then took his chance and smooched Lucy on the cheek, making her turn red "I GOT-" Lucy began before covering her mouth "-dog lips!" she continued before chasing after Snoopy "I oughta slug you!" she told Snoopy.

Amazingly, Heather simply stayed asleep and absentmindedly sucked on that bikini, holding Velvet and Carmel extra close.

A few more moments later, Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty entered the classroom. The former blockhead then stopped and smiled at the sight in front of him. "Look..." he whispered to Peppermint Patty, pointing to a napping Heather in pigtails, sucking on a binky. "Natural beauty at its finest…just like Linus says…"

"Uh, Chuck, don't you think she looks...funny like that?" Peppermint Patty whispered, pointing to the binky.

"I think it ups her lovely, cute factor, along with those pigtails." Charlie Brown smiled. "And that new shirt of hers. Kathy must have got it for her."

"Y'sure? That binky has Lucy written all over it." Peppermint Patty whispered.

"I know, I know..." Charlie Brown said before glancing back at the sign and nudging Heather a little.

"Mmmph..." Heather grumbled a little, eyes closed.

"Watch..." Charlie Brown told Peppermint Patty as he kissed Heather on the cheek. "Prince Charming is here..."

Heather's eyes slowly opened and her heart fluttered, taking the binky out of her mouth before smiling at her boyfriend. "Thank you for not forgetting your Sleeping Beauty..." Heather cooed, making Charlie Brown laugh.

"Uh, Heath, did you even notice you were sucking on a binky?" Peppermint Patty asked, trying to contain her giggles.

Heather simply smiled and shrugged. "I don't mind. It was actually sort of fun. Like a Ring Pop without the Ring Pop." she commented with a smile. "Brings back memories…"

"Kid, that's not how you eat a Ring Pop..." Peppermint Patty explained.

"It isn't?" Heather asked.

"Of course not! Ya lick a Ring Pop, not shove the whole thing in your mouth!" Peppermint Patty laughed a little.

"To each her own..." Charlie Brown shrugged.

"Trust me…Marcie made the same mistake last Halloween…" Peppermint Patty chuckled. "But she did look funny being all hyper after that sugar rush…man can she run faster than I thought…"

Heather then stretched and yawned so cutely. "I had a nice nap. Oh! That reminds me! What do you think of my shirt and hair?" Heather asked, fluttering her eyes at her boyfriend.

"They're adorable. Just like you!" Charlie Brown booped Heather on the nose.

"Thanks, Charlie Brown..." Heather booped Charlie Brown's nose as he blushed.

"Must you two be so cute? It's sickening!" Peppermint Patty said.

"You're sounding like Sally." Charlie Brown laughed, booping Heather's nose again as she giggled. "There's nothing wrong with cute stuff…isn't that right, my beauty?

"You got that right…my Aladdin…" Heather cooed.

"Come on, you two. Let's get rollin'..." Peppermint Patty sighed.

"We'll be right there!" Charlie Brown said as Heather snuggled up to him adorably. "Awwww, sweetheart..."

"I guess I'm still a little sleepy…carry me, honey?" Heather cooed. Charlie Brown wasn't exactly that strong, but how could he even say no to his girlfriend?

"Sure, baby." Charlie Brown smiled nervously as Heather held onto Velvet and Carmel, and he amazingly picked his girlfriend up with ease and cradled her in his arms, much to even his surprise. "Wow. Those exercises with Barney paid off…let's go home, Heather." He walked to the door to find his girlfriend has fallen back asleep, sucking on that binky, making Charlie Brown smile. "Honey…"
